both. at first, i found short hair really cute on him, then i saw a picture of my crush with longer hair (it was able to reach his own shoulders and was tie-able. in addition to that, he was wearing glasses! (* >_<)), so he turned out to look really cute, which is why i can't pick.

i could never really get over how adorkable he was in the 7th grade. there's a video of him dancing to this minecraft parody, and while all my friends cringed, what i did was laugh and kick my feet in giddiness.

WEARS GLASSES ,, HANDS DOWN. he never wore them to school back in the 7th grade (before i switched schools), so i just assumed he had 20/20 vision. later on, i saw a picture of him in the 9th grade, AND HE WAS WEARING THEM. I LITERALLY COULDN'T GET OVER HOW CUTE HE WAS IN THAT PHOTO.

he's actually quite outgoing (which i find really cool since he's an introvert), but not to the point where he'd walk up to a stranger and ask them about their day.

we used to vc until it was late at night. too bad he always had a curfew, so he couldn't go past the 2AM mark. otherwise, i would've stayed up to listen to him talk a while more even though i, myself, have a curfew (can't be awake past 12AM, but stays up anyway).

y'know, for him to he an introvert is so hard to believe because he gets so chatty in a vc with like eleven other people. i'm an extrovert, but even i can't handle that.

sorta a vent but also just damn I love my friends.

I hate how hard it is for me to show physical affection. I had that teen angst phase where I thought I wasn’t allowed to let my parents love me because it was only for babies. Because my stupid brain decided I couldn’t show love?

I’m getting better now, with my parents and my friends. I can hug them and get hugs and we can lean on each other and hold hands and it’s great.

And sometimes it’s not. Because apparently I’m not allowed to show my friends love without it being romantic? I love them all, so much. And honestly I don’t know if it’s fully platonic. And I literally don’t care. I don’t see why it matters. I love them. Why does it matter how? Why does there have to be differences?

Why can’t I lay with my friends without one of us having to make a gay joke? Why does it bother me so much when they do? Why am I scared of what it means if it’s true? Why can’t I tell them they’re hot? Why can’t I say all this stuff I want to say for fear of it being taken the wrong way?

I love them. But I just… I wish I could love them less, or show them more, or just share the same space without having to justify it with a stupid joke. I wish we didn’t feel like we had to make gay jokes to exist together.

I had a dream I was in a library by the front desk walking by and one of my friends was behind the counter and asked another patron about the book she was reading. I had happened to have the same copy in my hands as I was walking past and I was like "omg it's an academic resource" and I started talking to them. I think it's funny because the book that both of us held and what I even acknowledged in the dream is that the book "Skin Deep Real-life Lesbian Sex Stories" edited by Nicole Foster.
