Details I noticed in The Last Wish

During the bar fight in the beginning when Death has Puss cornered, Puss's pupils rapidly dilate/constrict as Death approaches

When team friendship is riding in the cart away from Jack's henchmen right after they steal the map, Kitty brings up Santa Coloma. The music then changes to the Santa Coloma theme (what they play during all the romantic scenes) and it works surprisingly well as chase music lol

Also during that sequence, Jack's henchmen are firing flaming arrows at them. The one hat hits the map also lights Perrito's head on fire

Kitty rolls her eyes when Puss dramatically throws all the money one the ground to block the way of the archers at the end of the chase. In the next scene when they unroll the map, Puss rolls his eyes when Kitty says that she knew the words were going to take a second to appear even though she was clearly lying. They get on each other's nerves <3

When they're going through the Pocket Full of Posies in the Dark Forest, the flowers bunch up thicker when Perrito tells his backstory. He just pauses and smells them between lines, and they dissipate but it would be really interesting if that was a test. They know he's recounting traumatic and scary memories so they're testing to see if he gets bogged down in it or violent or anything like that but he stays in the moment and appreciates life so they let him through

When the three bears crime family are in the illusion of their cabin, Mama holds up a bowl and says, "Look, Goldi, porridge! And it's made just the way you like it." Baby, who's in the back says, "No matter how you make it, she doesn't like it" and then walks away stuffing his face lol Peak sibling dynamic and a lovely little nod to the original fairytale

When the illusion/flashback of baby Goldi is coloring in her fairytale book at the table, she's humming the chorus' theme from Favorite Fearless Hero

When team friendship and the crime family are fighting over the map up in the air, Perrito launches himself on a pot of honey. It gets stuck on Goldi's head, with Perrito still on it, and as they fall out of the sky, he says, "Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!" Such a good boy

When Kitty confronts Puss at the Wishing Star, she says she was going to wish for someone she could trust. When she says, "I thought it was you" her eyes get glossy but she forces the tears away for the next lines

During the final battle, and the fight against the Posies too, Jack makes sound effects for all his weapons. "Pew, pew, pew!" "Die, die, die!" "Blow up already!" Lots of commentary from him lol

This next one isn't a specific moment bc it's prevalent throughout the whole movie, but all the characters are always 100% engaged. They're always reacting to what the other characters are doing/saying even if they're in the background, not involved in the conversation, or not a major character. No one is ever just standing there waiting for their turn to speak. It really makes the movie a lot more realistic and highlights the amount of thought, care, and detail that went into this movie

Today was... well... something...

The BC show was great, no doubt about that. The guys were really having fun up there. Could I have done without the heat and getting my head pressed against the barricade so hard by a crowdsurfer that the back of my ear split open? Yeah, definitely. But does that mean that I didn't have fun? No.

I mean I would've had more fun for the rest of the day if I had still had the ability to crane my head and not suffer in the heat. But the BC show itself was just as great as always.

I saw some of my usual concert buddies again (bc fans of a feather or smth like that) and I had so much fun at the Attila and Sleep Token shows as well.

Wish I could've stayed for Gojira but I desperately need some rest, a glass of water and an Ibuprofen ASAP.

Currently I'm stuck at a random train station in the middle of nowhere and I'll probs be home at 4 (kill me).

i am so close to making a genuine review for Jurassic World as a zoo from an in-universe perspective because they should have never been able to open in the first place. the husbandry & general treatment of the animals is revolting. this is like if that tiger king guy got a billion dollars & a private island, like it's actually so bad I don't think people understand how mad I am for these fictional animals. disgusted, honestly. no wonder they had to make it on a remote island if they'd been on the mainland they would've gotten swarmed by animal rights activists

You glared at him. ‘’I’m not three apples tall! I’m regular sized.’’ 

It wasn’t true, and you both knew it. You were just about Wheezie’s height — who was thirteen years old. 

Rafe chuckled at your reaction and went to the kitchen for the wine glasses. He reached the top cabinet and grabbed the glasses with ease, handing the first four to you. He brought the other fours to the counter where you had placed the wine opener. 

Then, you disappeared back to the living room and up the stairs to finish your hair, seeing as there was only an hour before your parents would arrive. Rafe followed and watched you standing in front of the mirror of your ensuite bathroom in your small red and white festive dress, which was driving him crazy. The way it hugged your body and made you look like a little doll in a Christmas outfit. He didn’t think he would love that childish looking dress when he saw it on the hanger — he compared it to one of Sarah’s when she was little —, but now he wanted nothing more than to flip the skirt up and take you right there.

‘’At what time is it acceptable to kick everyone out?’’ he asked, already looking forward to being alone with you. 

‘’Don’t be a Grinch, Rafe. No one has arrived yet,’’ you warned as you took out another one of the rollers. Your hair was so bouncy and pretty. You’ll need to ask Sarah to take nice pictures of you and Rafe so you can hang them in the house.

Rafe shook his head. ‘’I’m not being a Grinch. I just really want to fuck you in that dress,’’ he said casually, making a smile bloom across your lips. His smirk grew into a cocky grin, and he continued. ‘’I was thinking under the tree?’’ he began, his voice low and full of desire. ‘’So you can be my little present that I get to unwrap. You put down your last roller, and grabbed the hairspray and brush to smooth everything a little. ‘’I think…that you should get dressed. Can’t welcome our guests in sweatpants.’’

Although you moved into this house last November, you and Rafe had yet to host a holiday dinner. The Camerons rented a nice cabin last Christmas — as they did every year. You went skiing, and ice skating with Sarah and Wheezie. And Thanksgiving was spent at your parents’ — your mother loved Thanksgiving. 

‘’Alright,’’ Rafe replied, eyeing his clean pants and a crisp button up you had priorly set nicely on the bed. 

He was perfectly capable of picking his clothes and dressing nicely, but the nerves of hosting had you searching through his closet and picking what he would wear for tonight. 

When you were both ready, you went back downstairs. Your father had called saying he was going to run a little late due to a closed road and traffic. ‘’Rafe, I said no,’’ you repeated, avoiding Rafe’s grasp.
