just read a facebook comment section on a young woman's video, in which she was asking 'how you're meant to live your life' if you work a 9-5 job

and the ENTIRE comment section was just people saying 'yeah welcome to life' 'whiny snowflake' 'do 70 hours and maybe i'll be sympathetic'

like... these same people have clearly become jaded, tired, angry and lack empathy because ALL they've done all their lives is work and have forgotten that anything else exists

it's like the concept of someone NOT having to live like that and enjoying life just drives them insane because deep down they know that they've wasted their lives following bullshit hustle culture and being miserable

i think the only thing that would make the xarrastarion harper ending au work is acknowledging they’re not Good harpers. they’re actively bad harpers. like i don’t think they would Stop extorting people (explicitly against the harper code) and would not go all that far out of their way to help anyone without expecting compensation (again. against harper code) and are like, not really That concerned with the consequences of their actions usually. but Also they’re both personally invested in like, freedom and ending slavery and tyranny to some extent, and are definitely very good at the sort of manipulation that makes up most of harper work. and like the idea of them as absolutely piss poor harpers Morally but extremely effective when it comes to Getting Things Done is so so so silly. they’re like jaheira’s problem children. they’re wandering up and down the sword coast breaking most of the harper rules and flashing their little harper pins like get out of jail free cards but they’re also absolutely able to dismantle entire slaver operations in a day and a half. they’re just also claiming at least half of the loot for themselves instead of redistributing it

Controversial take but I'm gonna come out and say it- Dean knew before cas

#listen for me season 11 is the real /oh/ moment for dean #and whike i fulky believe that cas wanted him and desired him and knee that he woukd die for him and guve up everything #he hasn't boiled that down into what it really was #i think it's simply a softer moment to go from someine being your religion #and realizing that that's love #also it just compels me so extremely that cas' feelings mught be too big for him to know what they are #and that dean might have gotten to a place of emotional awareness by that point that he can slow things down #and see them fir what they are #also there's something about the amara storyline that just drives home the idea that dean is being made to feel like he's falling in love #but it isnt working because it dosen't feel the eay he does about cas #like their bond is deeper than the mark of cain bond he has with amara #anyways i think it's very likely that he represses the hell out of this following the widower arc because of how much that split him open #but their is something about jackles performance in later seasons that is just so resigned #like there's an intrinsic weight there #also cas should be allowed to be more feral more often #and wouldn't be interesting if it's his love for jack that makes him go /oh/#because that is so much softer and more simple #like that's also what love feels like #and it kind if cuts through the chaos of these big unnamed feelings #plus. the intrigue. the heartbreak. the drama.#destiel #deancas #spn
