This is what makes Maki an interesting fighter
Tumblr media
Watching her thought processes, planning
Tumblr media
The studies and knowledge she armed herself with, to put her on par with the best sorcerers
It was understandable to have this thinking missing in the first part of the fight against Wormoya to show how disoriented she is after losing Mai…
I just want to see more of that next time we see her.

General Thoughts on Yuuta?
As few as humanly possible? I wish the fandom let me forget about this boy.
I’ve never found Yuuta interesting. Now, thanks to fandom I find him downright annoying.
Yuuta has strong Shinji vibes at the beginning of Zero and while it’s realistic, there are people who are like that, I just find it boring. This is a very personal bias but as a person who has several concurrent mental issues, I have a strong dislike for characters and actual people who make their mental illness their whole personality.
His arc in Zero also doesn’t excite me. He is super powerful from the start but can’t control it. Then he puts practically zero work into it an can control it.. He seems like a scrawny loser but starts to do gymnast shit with a sword really quickly. His CT is Copy, where he just copies the techniques of others and uses them in a more powerful way than they do, with no conditions or downsides.. When he needs to, he learns reverse curse technique and can apply it to others which we learn is super hard…
Basically, everything he needs to know and be able to do, he is able to do in the moment he needs it…
And Yuuta has no principles, not ideals. He is unfazed by Getou’s fascist speech. Yuuta fights Getou because Getou directly harms Yuuta’s only friends. It’s really sad because Getou actually is shown to have a vested interest in pursuing Yuuta, or more precisely Rika. I mean Getou’s plan and ideology are nonsense, but what fascist ideology is internally coherent anyway, it’s always reactionary drivel that focuses on targeting the weak instead of trying to get to the bottom of societal (in this case jujutsu society’s) problems. But Yuuta has no personal connection to Getou, no thematic one either.
I think Gege really noticed what a weak protag Yuuta was because all of this is fixed in Yuuji whose ability to perform gymnastic feats is established in chapter one. Who also has principles and a personality more complex than: I’m depressed.  Same with Getou and his primitive plans are replaced with Mother, the perfect plotter, and their amazing multi-layered plans. The Gege added Sukuna, an emotionally constipated jujutsu and poetry nerd who can also forge a plan of his own. And Mahito, a creepy kid curse who thinks he can plot but alas adults were in the room, so no he can’t And Yuuji has a deep personal and thematic connection to all three of them, and likewise.
It really shows how much Gege grew and developed the world of JJK between Zero and the main series.
There’s a hint that Yuuta’s so powerful partially because of Rika’s love for him. She loves and she stayed with him after she died. “Love is the greatest curse”. So the arc goes that Yuuta is told that he can stop keeping Rika’s soul from crossing over, can break her curse by simply talking to her, releasing her.
And this is where Gege in my opinion really made a serious mistake. The way this is set up, and later much more well developed in JJK proper, there should’ve been a cost to releasing Rika. There is a strong idea of balance and give and take to jujutsu. Gege had a perfect opportunity here to grant Yuuta space to grow by depowering him. Letting Yuuta lose some of his powers by letting go of Rika. But Yuuta just became more powerful for JJK proper…
And that meant there was nowhere to go with Yuuta’s character. Yuuta was still unconnected to any of the major villains and barely to any of the important characters, only to Maki and Gojou, though he barely interacts with either in JJK proper.
I and also other people have written before how Yuuta literally does nothing during the final showdown, how he only pauses the fight, prolongs it and distracts from the people who Sukuna actually connects with during the fight, ie Yuuji and Maki. Or how he wasn’t even necessary to kill Kenjaku.
And Yuuta has no personal connection to either Kenjaku or Sukuna. He has a forced thematic connection to Sukuna when he takes over Gojou’s body, a pathetic attempt at becoming the strongest. And he has that connection for like five minutes in the story…
If Yuuta never appeared in the JJK main story… it would’ve been almost the exact same story. Gege needed Yuuta for one moment, just after Shibuya to fake Yuuji’s death. And maybe even that could’ve been handled differently. Someone else could’ve fought in Sendai instead of him, there are other capable characters to fight in the Culling Games.

Ossan's Love Returns Ep 5 Stray Thoughts
Last week, Maki had to leave for a work trip right as his dad was home alone with back pain. Haruta stepped in to take care of his father-in-law, but Maki's dad was not feeling it. We also learned the sordid details about Izumi's dead lover who was Haruta's doppelganger, and they Izumi is determined to avenge him. We also know that Kiku is in love with Izumi. Izumi offered some insights about Maki's dad via chess that allowed Haruta the honor of being allowed to wipe his father-in-law's butt. Kiku also came clean about their law enforcement role to Kurosawa, figuring he'd just be a problem if he wasn't told. Takekawa went on a bachelor show and was summarily rejected. Also, the chief had a fall and scared us all.
Kurosawa won the vacation voucher!
Kurosawa's apartment layout looks similar to Aoyanagi Hajime's.
OOF. Kurosawa is struggling with loneliness.
Yes, let's follow-up on the butt-wiping and Takegawa getting rejected.
These enormous ongiri are throwing me off every episode.
Wow this handstand is very impressive.
Choko is now the Gay Whisperer, and she has new reasons to despise Haruta;
Oh lord these people are still spying on Izumi and Kuki.
Yes! Everyone go to Atami!
I'm so ready for the hijinks!!!
Episode 5: Take Me to Atami
Atami is very beautiful! Good work on the tourism front.
I will never stop thanking this show for how physically affectionate Haruta and Maki are.
Kurosawa almost falling on the stairs twice would be funnier for me if I wasn't worried about his health.
Maki lost his ring!!!
Guys, do not put the waiter through this!
Poor Maki. This is not what her had in mind at all.
Why is Kurosawa still fanning??
I appreciate that Kiku also has strong feelings about honoring Akito's memory.
Oh shit, I didn't expect Kiku to actually admit it.
Oh, Kurosawa. I'm glad he hugged Kiku as a fellow loser in love.
Now how the hell did both Maki and Izumi fall here.
Chief, you gotta stop putting hands on that man!!
This sloppy brawl is everything I hoped for. Chief and Maki fighting and tearing shit up. Kiku stumbling in drunk. Unexpected wrestling and double pinning of Haruta, opening up a whole can of worms about how Izumi and Kiku probably wanted to fuck Akito. Dragging Haruta for being indecisive. Sloppy crying. Kurosawa had a fan the entire time.
Oh, Haruta. I love how hard you love your husband.
"Make sure to reflect on that." I'm so glad Kurosawa had a good time.
Izumi...bro...
This trip was so much fun. I loved seeing them blend with the neighbors, and I loved seeing Kurosawa get to be as extra as he wanted. He was ready to fight Maki the entire time and he did! I can't believe Maki smashed a fake rock over Chief's back. Incredible. I just know the staff was pissed about them in the morning. Let me not forget Choko, because she is right to be annoyed that Haruta always seems to be at the center of gay drama around here. I'm also so worried about Takegawa.

When I first saw this scene and even just skimmed Kenjaku's talk about death, I instantly thought that this seemed like something out of a Satoshi Kon movie or Serial Experiments Lain. I mean, the static TV out in the middle of nowhere in the night, the wires, the single light of the street lamp, that already shows a striking similarity in style. More precisely, it reminds me of Paranoia Agent, an anime series by Satoshi Kon that mainly deals with the struggle of taking responsibility and breaking out of learned helplessness. Exactly what Kenjaku is talking about here. Only in this case it concerns the extreme of choosing your own death/choosing to struggle against it (something Yuuji is intimately familiar with...curious). Kenjaku put the players before a choice, but also gave them a way out of their mundane life, at the cost of death. Some chose to not choose and just avoided dealing with the problem. Keep living their lives and not face the issue or minimizing it until it was too late.
All non-reincarnated players were given power didn't have before and/or freedom to exercise it however they wished. They basically got the opportunity to do what they want, pursue a goal they might have always had in mind, but were held back by conventions, work, the law etc. Now they could strive towards that goal. But some were just overwhelmed and didn't know how to use this newfound freedom. They basically just froze for 19 days or ignored what was happening around them until it was too late.
Remi was kind of like that. She did exactly what she did before the Culling Game started. She sought out a "Wolf" to protect her and even when that strategy didn't prove to be efficient anymore, she stuck to it. Because that's her reality and what she assumes will never change, no matter how much she gets hurt in the process. She did play the game and collect points, but it's the same thing Kenjaku is criticizing here.
It actually applies to a lot of things, including some of the protagonists world views. Like the assumption that Gojo will always be the pinnacle of strength. That he will always win. Because he hasn't lost so far, so why would he now? Nothing has changed, right? We will see what future chapters bring and clearly they have taken steps to prepare themselves, not just send Gojo off alone to face Sukuna, but they are being a bit too naive in my opinion. The mindset leading up to ch221 was always the same: we will just have to get Gojo back and then he will tell us what to do. The status-quo got completely overturned. Higher-ups got mostly taken out. Zenin Clan got wiped out. The received new powers. But so far they haven't really used that to pursue their own goals in the way Kenjaku is imagining here. Maki killed the Zenin, but now she is kind of aimless and seems to just work towards keeping Gojo alive. Assuming that his reality or the character of his sister won't change is also what ultimately got Megumi possessed.
This is a bit rambly, but basically what I want to ultimately say is that Kenjaku's values can be applied to not just the Culling Game players but the series as a whole and there's still a lot of potential for change that hasn't quite happened yet. The protagonists are living too safe at the moment. They are still too hung-up on Gojo as their ultimate fix-it and they have to get more pro-active about shaping the future. There haven't been enough steps towards real change, despite this being the opportune time for it.

Things I Wanted to Include for My V3 Rewrite - Part 2
The day everyone went to the Virtual World has now come to an end. My OC is in his room getting ready for bed. Kirumi comes knocking on his door to check up on him as always. She says that Kaito is doing fine and that Maki and Ryoma are doing the training stuff themselves.
I think I wanted this scene to involve my OC explaining more to Kirumi about why he doesn’t like RPGs since he refuses to go back to the Virtual World.
After Kirumi leaves his room, I wanted a scene where Kirumi is in the computer room doing something to that giant Xbox which is basically the Virtual World.
The next morning, when everyone is having breakfast, they then go outside to discover that...
Keebo is now equipped with all his robotic stuff from Chapter 6.
You know, like the cannon arm and jet-pack? I think I wanted Keebo to say something like he’s not turning back or something. Basically, it has to do with what he learned about the flashdrive my OC gave him. Keebo then gives back the flashdrive and says that he put something on it but my OC isn’t allowed to look at it until the right time.
After Keebo shows himself off, Kirumi tells everyone to go to the computer room for a surprise. She insists that they all log in to the Virtual World. Now I wrote that Keebo has to log in while standing up. My original idea was for him to log himself in by attaching wires from the giant Xbox to himself. There’s a reason for that and I’ll explain in a later time.
Now here’s one of the twists, when they all log in to the Virtual World for a 2nd time, they discover that...
The Virtual World is now a fighting game.
Kirumi explains that she tampered with the giant Xbox last night and says that she wants my OC to be happy and try the Virtual World in a different genre, one he is more familiar with. His objective is to fight the other classmates like in an arcade mode fighting game and defeating the final boss will win him another clue about the killing game.
In terms of what the Virtual World fighting game is like, the gameplay is 2D, but I wouldn’t say it’s as basic as Street Fighter or The King of Fighters. I always imagine it as being more like the fast paced fighting games by Arc System Works (i.e. Guilty Gear, Blazblue, Persona 4 Arena). These are the order of stages my OC faces.
Stage 1: OC vs Kirumi
I wanted to give Kirumi a broomstick as a choice of weapon, like the broomstick she has in her official art. As Stage 1, Kirumi explains to my OC how to play, but my OC simply wings it and starts the fight. Once he wins, Kirumi stands down and says that she’ll now watch the rest of the game from the sidelines. Kaede and Kokichi are watching too as they don’t look like the fighter types.
Stage 2: OC vs Ryoma
Ryoma’s weapon of choice is of course his tennis racket, like the one in his official art. He explains that he might be a bit rusty since he stopped playing tennis, but I wanted my OC to try and tell him something to give his spirits up. For my fanfic, I wanted to include a side-story that involved Ryoma going on a journey to try and overcome the depression he’s been going through, that’s why Kaito wanted him as a sidekick for my fanfic.
Stage 3: OC vs Tenko
I originally wrote a scene where my OC is having a spare match with Tenko at her lab. For my fanfic, Tenko is also a character that goes on a journey of change. My OC tries to convince her that not every male is degenerate and she eventually comes to be closer to my OC. Even though Tenko loses the match, she realizes that she actually had a fun time, but says that the next time they fight, she’ll have a better chance in the real world.
Stage 4: OC vs Kaito
Not much to say about this match. Basically, after losing the match, Kaito starts to feel sick and says that he wants to rest. So he logs out of the Virtual World and goes back to his room. I’ll just say that in my fanfic, Kaito’s illness gets worse and starts dying at a faster rate.
Stage 5: OC vs Korekiyo
After the match, Korekiyo becomes impressed by the ninja-like fighting style the Virtual World gave him, but he eventually says that he too wants to log out now that he lost the match.
Stage 6: OC vs Maki
In my fanfic, nobody but my OC knows that Maki is the Ultimate Assassin. The Virtual World fighting game however has Maki with an assassin-like fighting style and showcases her with weapons like knives and crossbows. My OC gets worried and tries to act like he doesn’t know anything. Maki is unimpressed with the fighting game and logs out too.
Final Stage: OC vs Keebo
Before the fight, Keebo tells my OC that he managed to decrypt the flashdrive and learned more about what was on it. He explains that there’s no going back now, but just when things looked like they were going ok, Keebo malfunctions and starts attacking aggressively during the match. My OC loses the match with Keebo winning via a perfect match (winning a match without taking damage). Suddenly, Keebo self-destructs.
Everyone still logged in gets worried. So they all decide to log out to see if something had happened. And they all log out to discover that…
Keebo is now the fourth victim.
To be continued…

Its funny, im like 60 chapters in and fire force seems like a little fun series but yeah the worst part is the fanservice or better said how it seems to ruin all female charachters, and not even in a "against my morals way" but that they all just are either boring talking about wanting to be better at cooking and doing nothing in fights for the most part or are just weird fetish things like "haha I wanna step on you Im a dominatrix fetish thing, this is funny and not anoying or creepy for sure!"
As I've said before, it is weird how I enjoyed Fire Force when it was its own thing, before that stupid "Assault is attracted to Tamaki" crap and "we got meta going into the final arc to make this tie into another series" crap.
I talk a bit here (https://soul-dwelling.tumblr.com/post/715175622123683840) about how I once made a thread showing the variety of girls and women in Fire Force--and how that variety shows that, no, they aren't boring or just trying to get better at tasks traditionally associated with girls and women and aren't in the fights.
For all the (deserved) crap I give Ohkubo about how he handled Tamaki and fanservice, he had so much potential in Fire Force with the variety of girls and women in this one series--and it just falls apart, because for all that variety, he can't stop himself from reducing Tamaki to fanservice incarnate, distracting from what else works in the series. It is seeing a decent or even good story--and not being able to enjoy it because one point sticks out too much, that shows something unappealing in an author's seeming philosophy.
(And given how he has characters speaking directly at the reader about how they should see Tamaki, it is hard not to see this as his own philosophy.)
The problem is when the story gives up on those ideas, about the variety of girls and women in this story. Look at where Lisa's arc goes in Fire Force, and how, at least for me, unsatisfying it wraps up: no last confrontation with Giovanni, repeating the same gag of Shinra groping her, ending her story with just her and Maki hanging out. It feels like a missed opportunity to comment in a meaningful way how someone like Lisa didn't want to be part of this fight--but also not letting her show that, even if she didn't want to be in this fight, she's sure as hell going to end it.
When you have Tamaki cooking--just for a naked apron gag that doesn't fit (and no, even when you learn why Tamaki ends up in these situations, it doesn't fit and doesn't fix this).
When you have Iris, Maki, and Tamaki worried they will get fat from Takehisa's cooking, that should just be a moment of being a concern for anyone--but (as with that one My Hero Academia: Team Up Missions chapter) there is this unfair association with body image being a problem for girls and women, as if this is not a concern for people of all genders and ages, and it doesn't feel like it was treated as "this sucks, let's not do this to girls and women," it's treated as a stereotypical gag. It almost makes me wish Akitaru jumped in and said the same thing, given his fitness-minded attitude, so that you show this isn't just a girls' or women's concern, this is a concern just about any person has.
You have Maki as a brawler, and I appreciate how her story is also centered around being someone wanting to be beautiful and lovey-dovey and a romantic--and also a fit muscular fighter who can kick ass. But we stage at least two of those discussions in the showers, because fanservice. It doesn't come across as progressive; it's the Joss Whedon problem of taking feminist ideals and still putting them into terms to appeal to the male gaze: "Look how independent she is and how good she is in a fight! This turns me on, and is the only reason this is valid."
Hibana at least has a complex personality, so the dominatrix stuff gets pulled back--which has at least three problems.
First, this is again reducing BDSM content to just a joke. And maybe this comic isn't the place to explore its validity and how it works with acknowledgement of consent, but for a series that (by the final arc) acts like it wants to talk about how repressed people are sexually, it sure as hell enjoys reducing sex to a joke or a kink to be shamed. (I don't want to ignore that consent isn't exactly clear in any of this, either: we're presenting her subordinates forced into being her chair and so on, and that comes across as sexual harassment by a boss and a military commander, not consent by these subordinates.)
Second, some of Hibana's pseudo-dominatrix aspects get pulled back just as she is changing her alignment to the "good guys," again taking this complex sexual desire stuff and reducing it to a black-and-white moral binary: "look, Hibana is now good because we pulled back on her dominatrix aspects." Ohkubo does realize ethical people and morally upstanding people do enjoy sex that can be considered "naughty" and "bad," right?
Finally, we substitute Hibana's dominatrix aesthetic with her being shy around (underage) Shinra because she's now attracted to her. We have moved from her being comfortable with herself in her own body, albeit with the continued work of living with trauma, to someone who is awkward around Shinra. We substitute dominatrix with her hitting on a minor. This is not progress, this is worse.

Kaede helped Maki learn how to give a proper blowjob by having Kaito be her practice buddy and Maki returned the favour by telling her the perfect time and place to catch Shuichi jerking off so that Kaede can either watch or just help him out.
This lead to both of them getting boyfriends around the same time.
Disclaimer: Below is content that's more on the racy side! If not for you, you probably shouldn't read!
You scratch my back, I scratch yours.
The world worked by give and take...and boy did both Maki and Kaede feel as if they got what they gave in~
Maki wasn't a people's person, not by a long shot. While she loved her friendship with Kaede, Shuichi and Kaito...expressing how she feels was always a sore point for her. And for Kaito...she wanted to truly express just how much he meant for her. Especially a 'certain' part of him.
So she had to turn to Kaede who had agreed to set things up for to practice 'blowing' so to speak. Granted, when Maki came by and saw that Kaito was sitting on her bed, waving with that goofy, loving, charming, smile of his....
Were Maki's heart not racing she would struck that blonde piano freak down on the spot!
"The best experience is a live one. Show him how much you care!~" Kaede encouraged before leaving her dorm. Thus, leaving a blushing assassin and a confused Kaito looking her.
"Hey, Maki Roll? You okay? Yours face all red? I heard Kaede said that you needed help 'expressing' something?" Giving a thumb's up, he beamed at her. "No need to be shy! You can count on the Luminary of the Stars!~" ".....Express myself...huh?" Burst into a sprint Maki went over to Kaito and knelt down.
"Huh? Ah, M-maki? What are y-?" Maki put a finger to Kaito's lips and a shudder went down his back. Her stern dominance washing over him.
"Just...sit and enjoy." Zipping down his pants, Maki looked in awe at how hung Kaito was...and didn't hesitate to rub his member between her fingers to help get it even more erect. The astronaut moaned, his mind quickly becoming clouded by such pleasure. "M-maki..."
"Nice and quiet...I'm the one give you care this afternoon." Once it nice and hard, Maki took his cock into her mouth. Express her love? She'll do it with all her soul, a vow she happily took for the next, sweaty, hour!~
--
"...He likes to jerk off in his office everyday at around 3-5 PM. No one tends to come in, so he usually has a deal of privacy. However, his key to his office is underneath his fake plant so...if you were to go in at that time quietly...."
"Understood!~ Thanks Maki!!! Was you and Kaito-?" Maki quickly turned on her heels and walked off. Her face flushed utterly red. Her debt to Kaede was now repaid.
"G-good luck!~" Chuckling to herself, Kaede quickly went off to make use of such information. Quietly, she entered his office and slowly crept up to where his own work space was. The door was cracked opened...and she saw it. His pants were to his ankles, and he was holding it. His long, fat, pulsing cock. Stroking it up and down, moaning softly. Kaede started in bliss at the sight, her mouth watering with the urge to suck on this juicy fuckrod. More and more...and...and...
Creaaaaak!
Shuichi heard the door opening and upon seeing his crush staring at him jerking off, he flushed red and looked completely taken aback. "Ah.,,,ahhhhh!! I-I'm soooorrryy!! I-I didn't realize that you we-!!" Sauntering over, Kaede crouched down with a seductive smile.
"The only thing you need to be sorry for...is not inviting me!~" With that said, she happily began to suck happily on the tip of his wet penis.
By the end of the week - there were two new couples on the block...and both girlfriends were utterly grateful for the others for their help!~

I love JJK and I do have critiques of it but personally I don't have as much or nearly as much as others do on the "sexism," in the series. I'm not saying there isn't any, I put it in quotes because a lot of what people say or claim is sexism found within the series is stuff I dont fully agree with. My main complaint about sexism within the series is the girls/woman did deserve more time to shine or just to be explored more backstory wise, especially the one that was considered a special grade but at the same time I was not too torn up about it only because literally all of them died, all of them are currently dead except for the youngest (Yuta). I do think she died in an asinine way though, considering what happens to Choso but I also will say it makes sense for the story (the Choso dying and Yuki dying not the dying FOR Choso to live on part). I mean, I will say I still do get it to a degree because Gege does love being cruel (lol). That sounds harsh but what I moreso mean is he loves his bittersweet moments that really make you feel something like the moment with Riko & Geto when she says she wants to live as a normal girl and be with her friends and we think things are going to be fine or could turn around but then gets shot by Toji and dies instantly. It's meant to make us feel a certain way and I could say the same about a LOT of the other deaths.
Again my problem more so is the angle she came from and the fact that we don't really get to see her actually be strong and show us how/why she is a special grade because the first time we ever see her full on fight she dies (I think she may fought a bit before with Mahito but I honestly don't remember, but still it was barely anything) or at least learn more about her and get some backstory like all of the other special grades. She deserved more time, but I don't think her dying was necessarily wrong or a bad thing when it comes down to the story Gege is trying to tell. Most of my other issues are similar in that they just deserved more time to shine like the male characters and to show that they ARE powerful, not saying they aren't powerful because many of them are BUT we the audience deserve to see it to be shown much more equally like the boys/men through fighting and screentime and not just through power level/grades, text, and such.
I do believe part of it is censorship tbh, im not going to say ALL of it is but the lack of time spent on them feels more like something not 100% under Geges control, especially if what I saw was correct about a recent interview he had in which he felt forced to rush Tsumiki's come back and interactions with Yuji, maybe he meant more in general than something forced upon him but regardless it is a known fact that the company (shonen jump) has a sexism problem and so it would be wrong to not take that into consideration.
Other than the above though I don't really have other criticisms regarding the woman characters, I have other criticisms unrelated to them but again those are unrelated. One thing that does make me have a more positive view of Gege and why I grant some leniency like taking possible censorship and such into account is because he HAS shown he can write woman characters and do them justice, like specifically Maki.
I believe ignoring Makis whole storyline is a huge misstep to take when trying to make any legit and fair critique of JJK. Maki's whole arc was about fighting against her own family that upheld patriarchal abusive values over her to keep her and the woman in the family in line and she wanted none of that and wanted better for herself and her family (sister). She worked hard to become stronger but was fought at every turn and despite becoming very strong for someone who was born a non- sorcerer she was still denied basic respect, agency, & decency and they still very much felt she needed to know her place as a woman who was a non-sorcerer. Despite being told she wasn't strong & worthless she still fought back and killed them all after what they did to her sister. She did this so EASILY too, the person they looked down upon and showed no respect or humanity towards slaughtered them like they were nothing but livestock.
Her story is literally overcoming the old patriarchal thinking found within Japan perpetuated by specific families and she WINS, she does it, she beats them, at a cost though but that's JJK. Also some might take issue with the sister dying but I honestly don't see her storyline work as well as it does without her. If she were an only child it just wouldn't have tugged at our heart nearly as much & considering various factors about Maki and her story the majority of other sibling variations she could have would just not have worked well ESPECIALLY if the gender of the sibling wasn't a girl. Her fighting the patriarchy, for let's say a hypothetical brother, just wouldn't be nearly as impactful or... make sense because again her story is dealing with a PATRIARCHAL family, a boy would automatically be treated better than Maki regardless because Maki deals with being oppressed by her family for being a non-sorcerer and a girl. Also not to mention her having a brother might come off a bit too Toji 2.0, just saying.
Again, I've said it before but I do think some "fans" of the series and people within fandom spaces in general don't really actually know all that much about sexism and such to really know how to criticize it well within the media they consume. I feel JJK gets a lot more flack in this regard while other popular series don't get nearly as much and also at the same time have much more people making excuses for it. Part of it I do believe has to do with the simple fact that a lot of characters actually die within the series which makes people more upset/quick to judge without considering all the other info and facts that happen within the story. But, I do believe another contributing factor to this as well is people are inherently sexist. Let's face it, we are born in a patriarchal society, it's very much a global thing so a lot of people are just going to be sexist and even those who work on it will be at different stages of it and maybe never progress to knowing more than the basics of what's sexist &/or feminist. So inevitably we will get people who don't do deep enough thorough dives into the overall picture of the series or take in any other info when making their critiques which makes for a very poor analysis.
Anyway... I'm done. I know I've typed about this stuff before but I feel my thoughts just keep coming together better as the series goes on and seems to be heading closer towards its end and have had more time to ruminate on my thoughts. Also, sorry for any typos, I have ADHD meaning despite the fact I work hard on trying to catch my mistakes I will 99% of the time miss something, lol.

DISRESPECT
I have lived a life where many people said mean stuff to me all the time. The list goes on and on about who said things to me, but it got so bad I believed it, and then I would call myself names on a daily basis. This pattern has gone on for years. Decades even.
Sure I have had people tell me don't talk about yourself that way. People would tell me what I said wasn't true, or some people would agree with me. However the other day someone had a much stronger and bigger reaction. The reaction was so big, you would have thought I said something to them.
And in a way, maybe I did. The level of disrespect I showed myself at that moment bled out to someone. And she felt me beating myself up. I called myself a disruptive jerk. Now this is something I'm used to saying about myself because throughout my life, I have always had a big mouth. I've toned it down over the years, but I still talk a lot, BPD makes me think crazy shit sometimes, and I tend to talk to myself pretty harshly. Plus I had plenty of people tell me how weird, crazy, stupid, loud, obnoxious, I have been. Doesn't help my cause.
However, none of that was going to fly with this person as she told me they never want to hear me talk about myself like that again. I am hurting myself, I am hurting the group of people I am working with, and it may not have been these exact words, but that was the message.
So it made me think, if someone isn't going to tolerate that, why in the fuck am I tolerating it? Especially because I am abusing myself. I am makiing myself a victim to my own insults. Somewhere I learned when you speak a word, is it kind, its necessary, is it helpful?
Calling myself a disruptive jerk is 0 for 3 in that batters box. It's also a strikeout too.
This person made me remember who I am and who I want to be. I will not get there by treating myself like shit. Sure, we all grow up to be our own worst critics. However, we must learn how to speak to ourselves respectfully in hopes that it will bleed out. It was a huge moment for me that someone stood up for me that firmly. And they were standing up for me, to me. That's crazy, but it happened, and it opened my eyes to a huge problem I have had for a long time. It has become habitual.
So it's time to break this habit through practice. Practice more love to myself and giving myself grace when I make mistakes. Giving myself love and compassion when I do something wrong. I really hope you do it with me. Speak kindly to yourself. Even if you never do. Let's start together. You and me.
I once put a picture of myself in first grade by my bed with other pictures, but that picture fell down. i will put it back up and I will work on this. I always wanted to be humble, but humility doesn't mean tear yourself down. It means to build up, but do so with honor and love.
And I will begin the process of honoring and loving myself.
I hope you do too.

HEADCANON + VARIOUS || when their siblings are evil
request: Hello, I was kinda wondering how would Gojo, Itadori and megumi react to a their younger sibling being evil but she has a reason to being that way. [Headcanon] -
note: hmm - this one is really interesting! honestly i had never thought about their reactions if their younger siblings are evil! this was an entirely new idea to me, so i definitely enjoyed writing something like this
characters: gojo satoru, itadori yuji, fushiguro megumi
pronouns: she/her
Tumblr media
GOJO SATORU
in this sense, I feel it’s not that shocking that if his younger sister joined forces with geto
if you weren’t born with the Six Eyes like your older brother, your clan will just treat you like a slave - like maki was treated when she was in the zen’in clan
after years of abuse and being told that you were a mistake, and that you shouldn’t have been born, and that you were a waste of space - that might crack you and made you go insane
gojo might have known this might happen, and had tried to move you away from the path of evil - because i feel like he would be a good older brother and shower you in all the love you deserve
he’d shower you in love and respect, getting you new clothes even if your parents tell him not to, spoil you rotten and even training you to use your powers under the cover of darkness
but sometimes it just isn’t enough though, and the emotional wounds are just too deep to heal - and he gets that
feel like he might end up blaming himself - what kind of older brother can’t protect his own baby sister? how can he call himself ‘the strongest’ when he can’t even protect the one person that he was born to protect?
screw the world - he’s your older brother. he should have seen the signs and stopped you from doing what you do
at the same time, he knows the reason why you left - you were sick and tired of the higher ups and their backwards thinking
the elders of your clan, the elders of other clans, the higher ups who control the jujutsu world - you hate them all, and you strive for the change that gojo wants to do as well. but with how you’ve been put down your entire life, and how underdeveloped your skills are, you went the only route you know - a route that strays you away from all you’ve ever known
if anything, he’s sort of proud - since along the way, geto definitely takes you under his wing and teaches you to unlock all the potential of your power - which will be a huge slap to the face for the rest of the clan and the higher ups
feel like he doesn’t have it in him to really take you down if he needs to, since he can see through you no matter what - how you’re scared to be on the run, how you hate being away from your older brother, how you know that you have innocent blood on your hands
yet you can’t leave, you’re in too deep now. and if you return, who exactly is there to stop the higher ups from killing you like they so desperate want to for so long?
he’d probably spare you out of all the sorcerers that the higher-ups have branded as traitors, because at the end of the day you’re still his baby sister
and no matter how twisted your views of getting to your goal has become, you two still strive for the same thing - and that is to rid the jujutsu world of people like them
plus, if he was being honest, he’d want to keep you around as a slap to the higher ups still lol; the biggest middle finger he can give to them is by keeping you alive for as long as possible
Tumblr media
ITADORI YUJI
yuji, being the sunshine he is, would not have known why you decided to leave for the other side of the war
it wasn’t his fault - if anything, he was the best older brother to be around. he’s what people dreamed of when they think of having an older brother
he took care of you, make sure you and your grandfather was fed, made sure you didn’t need to worry about trivial things like money or when the pay the bills - you just focus on being happy and that’s all that he needs in return
feel like the reason why you left was more because of manipulation - if you can just grow stronger, you can protect yuji from getting executed. that you can make a better world for the both of you, that you two can one day live in a happy world where curses and sorcerers were far behind you
of course yuji will be upset - he doesn’t see the appeal of the other side, and always advocates for you to realise how geto and the other curses are using you for their own benefit
why would you give up your freedom to fight on the other side?
he’d be conflicted - this was the little girl who he used to braid her hair and cook for every day, the girl who he brought up from young to become the headstrong woman you are today. his best friend and the only person he can truly rely on during the darkest of times
how can he put that aside and hunt you down like you’re a prized animal in a hunting competition?
he’d wonder if he was a good brother to you too as well - wondering if he wasn’t giving you enough attention growing up, not as good as he thought he was at splitting his time for you
it’d take a lot of convincing from his friends that it wasn’t his fault, that you were being manipulated into thinking that this was the only way you can turn to in order to help him
since neither of you were really sorcerers to begin with - being thrown into a world where power dictates how you are treated would push anyone into a corner
he’d use that to probably train harder - to show you that you didn’t need to do the things you are doing to make sure he’s safe, that he can protect both you and him with ease
that you two can go back to how things were before all this
if you two ever meet in battle, i don’t think he’d be able to handle it - he’d be hesitate when it comes to hitting you with full power, since he didn’t want to kill you by accident
the last he needs is to have your death on his conscience
throughout the entire battle he might still try to convince you that it isn’t too late, that you can return back to jujutsu tech and learn from the best of the best, with a warm roof over your heads and friends you can really rely on
he’d stand in the way between you and any curse that tries to take you out, making sure that if either of you are to continue living, it’d be you
he’d lay his life down for you, even though he knows you’ve taken many innocent ones while getting to where you are today
he still has all the love of an older brother, and nothing people say or do will waiver the vow he took when he first held you in his arms - that he was going to protect you no matter what
Tumblr media
FUSHIGURO MEGUMI
with megumi, i can see why as well - you were abandoned at a young age, growing up watching your father working with all kinds of shady people
so it was natural for you to fall down the same path; since no one was really there to teach you right from wrong
i feel like megumi might have tried, and he really did try to show you that going down the path your father did was not the best idea - but how much can he do as a young child?
he probably feels more guilty as time goes by - child or not, he was your older brother, he should have tried harder to show you where you could have put that skill
wouldn’t breath a word about your existence to anyone, not because he doesn’t want to be associated with you. it’s more so your name will not be as well known as geto suguru - that maybe, there was a chance that the higher-ups might overlook you and you can sneak back in without causing too much waves
but the entire time, he might harbour all the guilt from not trying hard enough as a child to convince you that going to jujutsu tech was the best way to get stronger and show the zen’in clan that your father wasn’t a ‘waste of an heir’
the first time his friends will even find out you were an actual person is when you would run into them whilst you’re on a job - kill a target your client gave to steal some documents that they view as valuable
you didn’t notice them until you felt someone staring at you, to which you turn to face the person - ready to threaten to scoop their eyeballs out
“oh, hi nii-chan.” you’d greet with a casual grin as he stared at you in shock, nobara and yuji looking between the both of you curiously. “didn’t think i’d see you ever again.”
yuji and nobara might talk to you like you’re a normal person, but they kept their guards up still - something you found amusing, but still answering their question truthfully
megumi knew better - unfortunately you’re branded as an underground criminal, and if possible, any available sorcerer that bumps into you is to kill you before you accidentally reveal the existence of sorcerers and curses
however, no matter how hard he wills himself, he can’t do it - you’re still his flesh and blood. you may have chosen a path that’s different from his, but deep down you’re still living true to yourself
you’d glance over and see the conflict brewing in his eyes, to which you’d give him a soft smile before you lean over to grab his hand in his, causing him to snap his eyes up at you
“do what you think is right.”
with that you pulled away, and with another wave to the group, you melted into the crowd; somehow managing to disappear before their eyes
both his friends will be confused, looking around for you while he stared down at the hand you had grabbed, a slightly faraway look on his face
he’d probably realise that if anything, you’re living true to yourself and allowing yourself to fly so far ahead that you’ve slowly started to outshine any of them prior to this
and he’d feel weirdly proud, because you were still his baby sister, and you still achieved things that are worth being proud of

March 2017
Tumblr media
White Day is only a few days away when you begin to notice Rika’s form is absent from your training sessions lately. There shouldn’t be any reason for this, at least not one you’re aware of. Your class celebrated Yuta’s birthday just two days ago, and both the curse and cursed seemed fine, great even. You decide it’s best to bring this up casually - Yuta was still so skittish and Rika would be able to hear whatever you said anyways. So while you lead Yuta through a yoga session, you ask, “How’s Rika?”
He flusters and falls from his side-plank variation pose. The band he was using as an aid tangles around his calf. You debate and decide to leave him. If you touched him now, he might spontaneously combust. That thought makes you giggle a little. You move to change to a position that meant you weren’t looking at him. Hopefully, that’s less pressure.
Yuta speaks up when you’re fully downward dog, leading you to believe your plan worked. “She’s fine, yeah, fine. Just uh - tired?” You nod but inwardly roll your eyes. You shift your hips in to move to upward facing dog and make eye contact again.
“Just checking. I miss her hanging out, you know?” It’s obvious Yuta just lied, curses don’t get tired, but it’s better to not call him out this time. You just have to hope it wasn’t anything you did. “I know you fell but at this point you’re just slacking. Get back on your mat,” you say, changing the topic to something safe.
You’re back in downward facing dog when the door slides open. A familiar voice drawls, “Why are you still working out, dummy? Forgot our plans?” You scramble to your feet.
“Gumi!” You rush to hug him despite his obvious distaste. “What time is it? Do I still have time to shower or will we be late?”
Your little brother snorts and pushes you away, “Please do, you smell. You have,” he checks his watch, “fifteen minutes.”
“Gumi! That’s not enough time!” You yell, already sprinting towards the showers at the back of the gym. Yuta pouts at how quickly you seemed to forget his presence. That face doesn’t escape Megumi.
“So, you like my idiot sister?”
“W-what! No, no no no, it’s not like that! She just helps t-train me and -!” Yuta knows he’s rambling but he can’t seem to stop talking.
“Whatever,” Megumi has better things to worry about than repressed hormones. He's known that Yuta had a crush on you since the first time he came to campus to train with you after Yuta arrived. Your classmate couldn’t stop staring and seemed disheartened by the fact that you called Megumi by a shortened version of his given name. He had pouted until Satoru showed up and made a spectacle of ‘Team Gojo’ being all together again. Like you three didn’t, at minimum, have a weekly dinner together.
“If you ever want to acknowledge them, you’ll have to get approved by Satoru.” Yuta feels like he also needs the approval of this boy, but he leaves that unsaid. Just nods dumbly. Probably a good thing he didn’t respond, because you barrel through the doors you disappeared from.
When you rush past him, Yuta gets a strong whiff of the floral scent he’s come to associate with you. Megumi laughs under his breath at the blissed out look. Your hair drips water onto your tee shirt and it’s clear you rushed. “Really, really sorry to dip, Yuta. Run through those stretches we did last week to cool down!” Your fingers distractedly pull your wet hair into a braid as you instruct him. “Oh! Tell Maki I won’t be at afternoon training, Satoru already knows and gave permission. Megumi, grab my duffel?” Already carrying it, he rolls his eyes. “I should be back tomorrow morning, but don’t count on it.”
“Wait, but why -?”
“Gotta dash. Bye, Yuta!” You run ahead of your brother, headed to your room to grab Tsumiki’s gifts. Megumi gives a nod and follows after you. Alone and without anyone around to judge, Yuta groans and buries his face into his yoga mat. God, why can’t he just be normal.
When he looks back up, Rika has taken your spot on your mat. You left in such a hurry, you didn’t even clean up. He’ll have to drop it off in your room. “Ya’ know, it’s not that I’m mad about you liking her,” she begins. “It’s just…. I know we can’t be together so I do want you to be happy. I just feel jealous. Especially since you got her that super fancy chocolate for White Day,” Rika finishes with a pout.
Yuta doesn’t really know how to reassure her. So he does what he promised when he was ten, and is just honest. “I’m here to learn how to let you go, Rika. Neither of us know how to do that yet. I can’t be in any kind of relationship until I learn. It wouldn’t be fair to either of you.”
Rika hums and picks at the corner of your mat. “Well. I think it’s more than just us two you’re worried about.”
“What?”
“Inumaki seems pretty interested in the both of you too. You may not see it, but all three of you are pretty smitten. It’s actually kind of gross.”
“That’s - he - no!” Rika just laughs and dissolves her form. Yuta, still flustered, continues to mutter as he collects the things you left and wipes down any used equipment. When he finally leaves, it’s just his luck he runs (literally) into Inumaki who looks unfairly handsome in a fitted tee and sweatpants. Even his markings are uncovered, which makes Yuta groan, tuck tail, and run away. Yuta can hear Rika laughing in his mind.
“Tuna mayo?” Inumaki tilts his head to the side but shrugs off the odd behavior.

July 2017
JJH Thots the good gojo: guysss help which tie do i get :( fushiguro: isn’t satoru with you the good gojo: yea but u know he’s shit at gifts maki: Both of those are ugly, (y/n). Do you hate the man? osamu: the cheetah print trophy husband: I like that one too! the good gojo: this is why you two are my favorites
From a few cities over, Yuta flushes at your words. Inumaki notices and kicks his foot. He’s laughing when he says, “Nori,” but Yuta can spot a faint pink over the hem of his collar too.
You turn around in the middle of the street when you hear a loud, “(y/n)-chan!” Satoru is speed-walking towards you, waving an arm that is covered in different shopping bags. His long legs have him beside you in a split second, even without the use of cursed energy. “Are you done yet? Nanami won’t even thank you properly you know. Why don’t you just get gifts for your precious Nii-chan?” He pouts and takes the two bags you’re carrying.
“One, it’s not your birthday. Two, you could buy anything you want already. Three, who's to say I didn’t already get you one?” You pull a box of macaroons out from one of the bags he took. Satoru moves to snatch it immediately but you put it behind your back. Of course, if he wanted, he’d just grab it, but your Nii-chan would never deny playing a game with you. “You can’t get it until we’re back on campus! I’m already tired and this is my bribe to go home early.”
“But (y/n)-chan,” he whines.
“Nu-uh. I promised a movie night with Toge and Yuta and I don’t wanna be late.” You realize too late you revealed too much, because your brother suddenly looks like a very successful cat.
“Why didn’t you just say so? I would never make my little sister late for her first date.”
You blush furiously, “Who says it’s my first?”
“It better be your first.”
“It’s not even a date,” you roll your eyes. “Neither like me like that, and if it was a date, wouldn’t one be a third-wheel?”
“Tricycles are pretty fun.” Your brother says casually. You roll your eyes again and add a gag for good measure. “Seriously, (y/n). You should know you have my full support to love anyone and everyone you want. Not that you need it, though. You’re a Gojo. We do as we please anyways.”
You tear up at his sincerity and throw your arms around your brother, or at least the best you can with his bags in the way. The two of you are frequently physically and verbally affectionate but not often in such a serious manner. You know there’s a deep love between you; for a long time, the two of you only had each other. Eventually, your family expanded to include Megumi and Tsumiki, but neither ever took the Gojo name. You and Satoru had a special bond. “Thank you,” you stutter around tears. You hope he understands it’s not just a thank you for the reassurance but a thank you for giving you such a life.
“Come on, no crying. You can’t go on your date with puffy eyes, you’ll scare both of them away.” He pats your head softly and just laughs when you punch him in the gut.

OK KAITO MOMOTA ANALYSIS CAUSE YALL ARE CLOWNING ON HIM.
Kaito on the surface:
In the beginning Kaito is shown to be the "All Bark, No Bite" type of person. Always saying that he'll definitely find his way out but without having a plan on how to do so himself, or him saying something along the lines of "You read my mind! I was also gonna say that exact same thing too!" after Kaede's speeches. This makes Kaito out to be this overconfident, hyper optimistic, naive dude. Which to some extent, he kinda is.
However, there's a lot more to him.
Kaito's beliefs on trust:
Kaito believes in the good in each person. He feels like everyone deserves to have faith placed upon them. Like he himself says multiple times, he trusts his gut about people and believes in people just because he wants to believe in them (saying the phrase "I believe in them because I want to believe in them. Do I need any other reason other than that?"). This may put him out to seem naive but I don't think he is. He knows that the possibility of betrayal exists but he doesn't want to let that cloud his judgement. He wants to believe others are good until they prove otherwise. "If I end up getting betrayed it's on me for trusting the wrong person". This proves he isn't just naively assuming everyone is good, he just chooses to give others the benefit of the doubt. He even calls Kokichi naive for believing everyone has an ulterior motive with their secrets, commenting on how everyone has secrets they want to keep and how that doesn't mean the intention behind them is bad.
That's likely one of the reasons why he had such a hard time believing Gonta would kill someone. It wasn't just blind faith. It was understanding Gonta's character and knowing he could never have bad intentions. Gonta would never cave into any sort of selfish motive. He knew Gonta was despairing on the account of not being helpful to everyone. Kaito considers things based on emotion and so by Gonta's previous behaviour (and current behaviour in his trial, ever since he lost his memory,) it makes sense Kaito would doubt Gonta's guilt. There were other factors as to why he acted the way he did during that trial that I will talk about later.
Kaito's beliefs on vulnerability:
We barely learn anything about Kaito's family. We have no idea what happened to his parents. All we know is that he was raised by his grandparents. Being raised by his grandparents would mean that he was also raised with certain conservative ideas about males showing emotion. We see Kaito struggling with the idea of showing "weakness" aka negative emotions (ex. fear, sadness), especially in front of Monokuma. Which is why he punches Shuichi after Kaede's execution. He can't excuse Shuichi showing weakness in front of Monokuma. He doesn't have an issue with emotions in general since he advices Shuichi to stay by himself in order to grieve and also tells him to visit Kaede's Ultimate Lab. He also responds to Maki's love confession by congratulating her on opening up more and saying that since she fell for a guy like him, she can finally love herself. Kaito has a fair amount of emotional intelligence. He displays as much when he took on Shuichi and Maki and made them work on their "enemies" which he figured out fairly quickly. He can even read Kokichi in some moments, such as when he points out Kokichi's issues with trust and how that becomes a hindrance to him in the 4th trial. Kaito himself struggles with expressing his own emotions to others. He doesn't take his own advice. He tells Shuichi that he shouldn't shoulder everything on his own and yet Kaito never shares his illness with the others. He lets them live in ignorance, believing he's always happy and carefree. Why does he do that? Hero complex.
Kaito's hero complex:
Kaito has a severe hero complex which he developed in order to make himself feel needed and also to make others depend on him. He appears arrogant, flamboyant and maybe even toxically optimistic, almost unable to show any negative feelings (that aren't aggression/anger). That is due to his need to appear like the Reliable And Unshakeable Hero Who Fears No Enemy. He takes the negative emotions from within him that may make him seem weak and either completely discards them or masks them behind aggression (that's another conservative ideal he may have gotten from his grandparents). He allows others to idolise him and so he takes his own basic human right to feel less than ideal away from himself just so he isn't knocked off from the pedestal he has been placed upon. He hides behind a carefree, overly optimistic mask and he never lets it slip. Till chapter 4 that is.
Kaito's insecurities:
Insults and criticism:
Kaito is blatantly insecure when it comes to criticism and insults. It is extremely apparent especially in the second class trial where everyone comments on his intelligence and how he's an idiot. (A small parenthesis here: Kaito is The Ultimate Astronaut. He may have cheated on the exams and falsified papers to get in but he was allowed to stay not only cause they found him entertaining but also because they saw talent in him. So I'd love it if we could stop degrading his intelligence like he's actually unable to function. Yeah I call him a himbo but never did I genuinely doubt his intelligence, both emotional intelligence and his general knowledge. Is he dense sometimes? Yeah. But he's not useless or generally stupid. End of parenthesis.) He takes a lot of offense to that insult and even says it hurts his feelings. Meaning that perhaps the overconfidence he's been displaying isn't as authentic as he would've liked. He is very easily provoked, which Kokichi wonderfully displays in almost each interaction he has with Kaito. He is usually quick to point out when someone else gets insulted in a manner that doesn't ring true, but he seems to have a hard time defending himself in that way. He just gets very defensive and usually yells about it, but he can't refute it like he does for other people.
Threatening his ideals:
When his views and beliefs are questioned in the slightest manner he feels personally threatened. He gets very aggressive and even violent when it comes to that. We get to explore this a lot more during chapter 4. As chapter 4 progresses we get to see how his blind faith in others, which so far had only worked in his favour and was considered to be one of his most admirable traits, can be even more damaging than even Kokichi's lies. The idea that this part of him can be wrong in certain situations frustrates Kaito to no end since believing in everyone is pretty much his thing. To be told that THAT can be just as much, and maybe even MORE, of a burden to deal with as Kokichi's meddling probably really hurt his ego. Which is likely why he takes that out on both Kokichi, by attempting to resort to physical violence after the trial, and Shuichi by blaming him for his own shortcomings.
His relationship with Kokichi:
Kaito's relationship with Kokichi is an interesting one since they seem to share quite a few parallels. Kaito, The One Everyone Trusts, The One That Keeps The Group Together, The Hero Of The Story vs Kokichi, The One That Can't Be Trusted, The One That Constantly Lies, The Antagonist. Kaito is overly trusting, has seemingly baseless optimism and is, for the most part, very much a team player. Kokichi on the other hand is overly suspicious of everyone, has no faith in the other students and, for the most part, acts alone. They are almost perfect foils of eachother when it comes to personalities as well, on surface level. However when you look at them both from beginning to end you find many similarities between them. The first one would be how they both share the same goal. The goal of defeating the mastermind and ending the game. How they go about it is definitely different but their plans both do share the same end result. Another thing they have in common is lying. While Kokichi makes it more obvious, Kaito lies as well. He tries to conceal his illness and, again, his feelings that make him appear vulnerable. Kokichi even calls him out on this (and I believe he calls Kaito a hypocrite, then saying how Kaito is hiding something from the group). Then we have how they both try to fit themselves into specific boxes to fulfil their goals. Kaito models himself perfectly in order to fit The Hero Role, while Kokichi does everything in his power to take on The Villain Role. Assigning these roles to themselves is something they both deem necessary in order for the mastermind to be defeated. I have a fanart saved where Kokichi and Kaito play Chess and Shogi respectively against eachother at the same time. From Kaito's perspective, Kokichi has added chess pieces in a game of Shogi, while from Kokichi's point of view, it's Kaito who has the Shogi pieces for a game of chess. They both want to do something similar but they can't quite agree with eachother on how to get there.
Needing to be needed:
As mentioned before, Kaito, in order to satisfy his hero complex, requires people to rely on him. While originally that's not as apparent, it becomes very clear in chapter 4. Kaito not only feels threatened because his ideals are being characterised as wrong, by his own sidekick, but also because his own sidekick can even call those ideals wrong in the first place. I haven't mentioned his relationship to Shuichi almost at all so far so let's talk about that for a bit. Kaito takes Shuichi under his wing because of his hero complex and because his emotional intelligence revealed how much Shuichi needed a hero at that time. He could tell what was weighing Shuichi down and he was ready to try and lift that weight off of him so Shuichi could thrive. He gives him the title of his sidekick and says multiple times that "your discoveries are my discoveries" and "your mistakes are my mistakes, I'll take full responsibility for them!" Considering Shuichi's problem, with discovering a horrible truth and messing everything up, Kaito's words are genuinely comforting to him. Hearing that he won't have to take the heat for discovering some awful truth or hearing that he won't be blamed if he happens to make a mistake. These statements are what made Shuichi more comfortable with his talent and with utilising it. Kaito was the center of attention which means Shuichi as his sidekick could do his thing with almost no disturbance by others. Not to mention the training during night time, in order for Shuichi to relax and distract himself while everything else is chaotic. Kaito was able to read Shuichi and comprehend what he needs to get stronger. So then, when Shuichi started becoming increasingly confident in his abilities, and more independent in general, Kaito was scared. Kaito was scared that he was no longer needed. He was scared that he'd be discarded and that he'd no longer be idolised. He was also jealous of how his sidekick was becoming more and more reliable, more and more useful and needed. Moreso than Kaito himself. That is one of the things Kokichi tried to emphasise in chapter 4. Showing everyone, and especially Kaito, how they were over relying on Shuichi and how Kaito could be considered a hindrance instead of help to him (which he brought up in the trial of the chapter after Kaito questioned one of Shuichi's ideas). On one hand, Shuichi contradicting Kaito's statements meant that Shuichi was finally growing as a person and as a detective, becoming more independent. On the other hand, it meant that maybe Shuichi wouldn't need Kaito anymore. At least that's what Kaito thought at the time. Kaito develops jealousy over Shuichi's reliability, which he later admits in chapter 5. I'm assuming he felt a plethora of emotions after the fourth trial. Betrayal (cause Shuichi chose his own path), fear (of being discarded by everyone else) and embarrassment (from being shown up by his sidekick, for acting in such a pathetic manner and for showing such weakness in front of everyone). However he masks that all behind anger. After the trial he must've been thinking something along the lines of "The student had surpassed the teacher". I mean, if there's no one to save then there's no need for a hero, right?
Kaito's final moments and his collaboration with Kokichi:
Kaito is stubborn and very much so. However, he was able to recognise Kokichi's goal was similar to his own. He was willing to set their differences aside and he was prepared to work with him to end the killing game. While some think Kokichi manipulated Kaito into helping, which to a certain degree he did, Kaito actually wanted to help Kokichi the moment Kokichi said he had a plan to defeat the mastermind. Kaito was able to see through his distaste for Kokichi so they could both work on their common goal. After everything...Kaito is discovered anyway. He's about to be executed and he gets to say his final goodbyes. Kaito, even in his final moments, doesn't let himself feel his own emotions. He keeps a straight face. He keeps his hero facade. Till the very end. He doesn't cry. He doesn't let himself feel anything. All to make everyone around him feel better. He feels like Shuichi and Maki, and everyone else, would have an easier time moving on if he doesn't show any despair. He sacrifices his own needs for others. Again. The hero with the nerves of steel is how he would want to be remembered anyhow.
Then finally, he dies in a way that inspires retaliation. A way befitting of a hero. And a way that finally makes him succumb to the thing he's been working so hard to keep hidden. He dies because of his illness and he does so while smiling. He never lets his mask slip.

Aight’ Bet
Hi this is my first time posting on here so I hope whoever is reading this enjoys!! This is a noritoshi kamo x reader where the nori and (Y/N) need a little push from their wonderful Gojo sensei to finally confess~
Tumblr media
"Dont you think (Y/N) and noritoshi would make the cutest couple!?" Gojo screamed over the phone to Utahime who sighed in response.
"I can't help but disagree Gojo, Noritoshi doesn't seem ready for a relationship plus is the only reason you rang me really to discuss our students non existent love lives?" Utahime retorted knowing that the couple would in fact be adorable yet refusing to accept that Gojo could actually be right about something.
"No Utahime! I bet if them two were able to spend a few hours together the tension would build up so high that one of them would burst and BAM a couple would be born" the blue eyed male replied, the volume of his voice increasing with each word trying to convince her that they were the highschool sweethearts the jujustu world needed.
“How could you even say that!? I get that its cute whenever they glance at each other and shy away with cute little blushing cheeks but i bet it would take more than a few hours for a whole relationship to-” “OH you bet“ Gojo interrupted an obvious smirk on his face knowing Utahime wouldn’t back down from his advances.
“you know what i meant idiot i wasn’t actually trying to make a bet with you especially after what happened last time” the black haired woman scoffed after hearing a chuckle through the phone.
“Aight’ bet! tomorrow ill bring my second years to kyoto for some training and then lets see if something happens between our precious students“ Gojo proposed excitedly as if he were a child in a sweet shop.
“you know what fine! and im only agreeing cause i know nothings gonna happen tomorrow between them i mean noritoshi is too stiff and (Y/N) always backs out last minute” utahime exclaimed not wanting to prove Gojo right. “GREAT! if i win then you will have to be my slave for 2 whole days and if you win ill be your-” “wait i never agreed to that!” “see ya tomorrow then!” Gojo had quickly rushed his farewells before hanging up relieved he avoided Utahime’s lecture.
"Alright class!" Gojo sensei yelled excitingly as he burst through the doors. This overgrown man child always had something new, it could never be a regular class where his students actually learn then were let out for a break. No Gojo Satorou had to be the most extra male on this earth and for the first time ever it worked in his second year student (Y/N)'s favour.
"What it is now?" Maki groaned with an annoyed expression on her face. No one could blame her though after all the blindfolded man put his beloved students through. "Don't be so sour maki! Be like me a sweet little mochi~ Oh and before I forget I wanted to let you all know that we will meeting with our lovely sister school for some training. Isnt that great!?" Gojo sensei had announced clapping his hands and smiling brightly.
'I wonder if training is all this is' (Y/N) thought to herself realising how sus this situation was before speaking out "wait Gojo sensei weren't we meant to learn a super secret technique today? You said that you were gonna show it us yesterday and that nothing could stop you" (Y/N) questioned as Inumaki gave a little "shake" for support.
"Well my dear (Y/N) something VERY important has come up and we must go to kyoto immediately. You have no right to deny and we will be leaving in 30 minutes so go grab whatever you kids need" Gojo sensei had practically sung before skipping out the door. What an odd man everyone collectively thought before getting up to grab whatever they needed.
30 minutes has passed and in that time panda had gathered his and maki's weapons while you and toge stocked up on cough medicine and basic medical equipment. The journey was short since Gojo had practically teleported you all there and all that was left was to approach the students.
A few figures from the distance were slowly coming into view and (Y/N) could vaguely make out that only utahime, miwa, mai, momo and noritoshi had attended this last minute joint training.
Despite the others reaching and gathering around your small group of second years giving their greetings the only thing your eyes could focus on was noritoshi’s thick black hair as it gently swayed in the breeze. Honestly it was as if the man was in a L'Oréal advert or something.
"(Y/N) stop staring we all know you both have this weird thing going on but we're here to train not flirt dumbass" Maki had whispered into your ear but little did she know that you were in fact here to flirt and not train due to a certain bet between two teachers.
“alright kids listen up! me and the wonderful Utahime sensei have set up this last minute training as its always good to train with new people and techniques. Everyone will be working in pairs“ Gojo announced before Utahime continued.
“The teams we decided on today will be Maki and Miwa, Momo and Imumaki, Panda and Mai then (Y/N) and Noritoshi. Eveyones free to do whatever they want in their sparring matches just don’t severely injure each other, me and Gojo will be watching over the matches and determine the winners“ Utahime informed all the students before they scurried off to in different spaced out areas.
"So Noritoshi how are you? Its been a while since we've last seen eachother" (Y/N) said trying not to let her nervousness show.
"I'm alright just studying and training to be honest. Although I recently started to practice cursive and can even write my own name now" he responded with pride and a small nice.
You laughed causing Noritoshi to cock his head to the side in confusion. "Is there something wrong with cursive?" His deep voice asked with clear offense.
"No no it's just that's so freaking cute and you look so happy about it too" (Y/N) teased with more laughter and ruffled his hair
"Oi don't touch my hair do you know how long it takes to do these wrap bang things?"
"Well how would I know I've never done them nori"
"Well one day I could teach you if you'd like" Noritoshi offered looking to the side trying to hide his red cheeks.
"Aww I'd love that I'm awful at doing hair to be honest so learning some new styles would be great but first we gotta get this dumb sparring match over and done with" (Y/N) moaned as she got into position.
_______________________________
An hour had flew by and the students were taking a break from their matches happily chatting away while the teachers spoke in private about their progress. “come on look at the way they look at eachother OH (Y/N) touched his shoulder SHES FLIRTIN-” “GOJO SHUT THE FUCK UP YOUR SO DAMN LOUD” “sorry but loooook they in love” Gojo cried out with fake tears in his cerulean eyes
“Alright lets just observe look theyre going to the vending machine to get some drinks like FRIENDS DO“ Utahime emphasised on the friends worried she might lose and become this awful mans slave for 2 days.
_______________________________
“Nori im gonna go get a drink from the vending machine do you want one?” “Actually ill just come with you if you dont mind” “OH sure thats fine does anyone else want anything!?” (Y/N) yelled to the whole group receiving a choir of get me this please or get me that and the single tuna mayo.
The walk to the vending machine was quiet but a comfortable silence had fallen upon the pair. It was always like this when you were around Noritoshi Kamo. Peaceful. She didnt feel the need to go the extra mile to entertain him or ensure he wasn’t bored in your presence as your playful banter and sarcastic remarks towards one another was enough for the both of you.
“(Y/N) is it me or have Gojo and Utahime sensei been staring at us more than the others?“ Noritoshi questioned unable to shake off the feeling of being watched. “Um i’m not too sure i havent been really paying attention to anything other than yo-“ Embarrasment washed over (Y/N) as the words flew out of her mouth before she could stop herself.
“Is that so?“ Nori smirked slightly as you swore you could drop dead right here in this moment. “No i just meant that” “Meant what?“ Noritoshi interrupted leaning closer as you fumbled through your words
“OH LOOK the vending machine is right there better get those drinks“ You quickly said and scrambled away before Noritoshi could get any closer.
“SEE Nori was too intimidating and (Y/N) ran off despite clearly wanting him! its never gonna happen today“ Utahime whispered to Gojo benhind the bushes as he shook his head. “Trust me i have faith in my wonderful (Y/N) I AINT RAISED NO BITCH“ He exclaimed in response while Utahime facepalmed.
The two young adults had collected all the drinks they needed and were ready to walk back to the group. ‘come on (Y/N) you’ve liked this man forever now and everyone knows he must like you back ITS NOW OR NEVER HOE’ (Y/N) screamed words of encouragement to herself before grabbing Noritoshi’s sleeve.
“Is everything alright (Y/N)?” “I have something ive been meaning to tell you Nori, I um like you a lot and i’d like to take you out if you dont mind” (Y/N) had practically yelled at the poor boy because of her stupid nerves and adrenaline.
The silence was broken by an angelic laughter coming from none other than Noritoshi Kamo. “Well i would’ve liked to be the one to take you out but i guess sometimes its alright for traditions and stereotypes to be broken by the younger generation” Nori responded as he walked closer to (Y/N) wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into a sweet kiss. The kiss was messy and clearly new to the both but filled with much love and passion that was finally being expressed by the pair.
As their lips eventually pulled away never wanting this to end, heavy breaths filled the air and cheeks flushed but all that was interrupted by a white haired male clapping in the background screaming “YES I WIN” while the other teacher crouched to the ground tears in her eyes.

Hello! Congrats on your new milestone! For the movie event I am requesting 😣💕💰with either Gojo or Nanami. Thanks so much and congrats again!
hi! thanks sweet! i hope you like it and thanks for participating!
❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁
action + couple + mafia feat. Satoru Gojo
cursing, blood, violence, kidnapping!
❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁❁
“Where?” He asks. The sunglasses he’s wearing make his looks even more intimidating. The man under his gaze is trembling, his hands tied up in both  sides of the chair.
“i-I don’t know, Gojo.” The man says. Gojo clicks his tongue and looks at the man again, close, taking his sunglasses down. His clear blue eye looking directly to the man.
“I’ll ask one more time. Where?” his voice seems different. He’s angry. No, he’s definitely furious.
“I don’t know. Only my boss knows wh...”
“Too much talking. Shut him up.” Nanami nods and Satoru walks around. He knows they kidnapped you, and he needs to know where you are. His hands impact against a near wall. “Fuck!”
It was just a moment. You where sleeping on his bed, all pretty and quiet. He got a call from Gakuganji, so he left the room. When he came back, after ten minutes, his bed was empty and the big window he closed yesterday to avoid your body getting cold was wide open. He called Nanami, who said that he didn’t saw you. After that, he worked hand to hand with Takuma , and he found a man in the security cams. It was easy for Nanami to search that one. Unfortunately, he appears alone, as if he was just a lure to cover the real crime: your kidnapping. Gojo revised all the security cams, he called you a hundred times and tried to search between his contacts someone that wouldn’t doubt to harm you to manipulate him. That night, Megumi came late home. He found Gojo sitting on a chair in the main salon, his white hair down and his glasses on the table. Also, he wasn’t wearing his blindfold. Megumi got closer to him, taking off his earbuds.
“Everything fine?” He asks. Gojo looks at him, his eyes red because of the tiredness and the incansable search. Yuji enters behind him.
“Hi, sensei!” he says, but his tone changes when he finds Gojo alone. “Where’s y/n?” he asks. It’s difficult to find Gojo without you, specially on this kind of lazy evenings when he usually is at home. Gojo looks up to them, the two boys inquiring with a curious gaze.
“I don’t know. Someone just took them away from me.” The adult says. Yuji looks concerned to Megumi, that is frozen. They took you away from him? From the most powerful man out there? They had the courage to do it?
Since you and Gojo started your relationship, several years ago, Megumi always saw in you someone to rely on. He liked to talk to you and you liked to spend time with him. You also know how proud of him Gojo is. How he always smiles whenever Megumi’s name is heard.
You know the two of them have a really close bond, as if they were family. Also, he’s really close to two new students of the dirty negotiations of the mafia: Nobara and Yuji, the boy with the tattoos. they are there to learn how to negotiate, how to make things really money-maker business. That’s his work, after all. He also shows them how to fight, how to take care of themselves in difficult operations.
“They kidnapped y/n?” Yuji asks, his eyes open with surprise. Megumi remains silent while Gojo nods, waiting to hear the story. Gojo tells them, without entering in too much details. Saying that you’re no longer next to him makes it even more real and painful. Megumi listens and analyzes every word he says. Yuji looks at his sensei, concerned. Megumi talks while he takes out his phone, calling Nobara.
“Call Nanami. I think we have to beat up a blue-haired bastard.”
Megumi’s brain worked as fast as ever while Gojo talked. His mind found one person capable of doing that thing: Mahito, the mafia leader that was behind you all this time. Since you have choose Gojo, Mahito never accepted that. So, he decided to kidnap you. It was crystal clear for him. Gojo calls Nanami as fast as he can, and Nanami agreed to take Nobara with him. That’s how the man and the girl arrived together.
“What’s the plan?” she asks, taking off her jacket. “I’m up to everything since that asshole took my best friend far from me.”
Nobara loved to take you with her and go shopping or to the cinema. She always complains that the only one who does that is Maki, and she needs to be in a good mood. So, finding you taking some tea for Gojo after his classes makes her pout to him if you can accompany her, having always the same response.
“That doesn’t depend on me, have you asked y/n if they want to go?”
Gojo isn’t overprotective towards you, even tho he always tries to have an eye of you, because he knows how dangerous it can be for you to be the partner of a mafia head. But, even when he was praying to end early his classes to be with you, giving you a hundred cuddles and a lot of attention, Nobara was always behind you to ask permission. He couldn’t say no -after all, it was your decision, and you also needed to have a life apart of him.- but he was wiling on the inside to hear a no form your mouth.
It rarely happen, since you felt a lot of sympathy towards the only first-year girl.
Now, as Yuji and Megumi, she was ready to risk all to take you back. To them. To him.
Megumi has been to the Mahito’s place before, in another mission, when he was just eleven. Gojo thought that taking it with him could be a nice training for the boy, and it was. He learned how to pick doors and give side-kicks.
“Yuji, Nobara and I will bother and, if necessary, kill the guards outside. Nanami can help you inside. I put an alarm in our group chat. When Gojo leaves the radio of 1 kilometer from the mansion, we all run. We’re faster than his guards, they’re big and less quick. They’re made for using strength, not for running.  We’ll reunite in the backyard.”
They all nod. Once they are there, Gojo enters quietly, using the balcony to go up fast, followed by Nanami.
“Search Y/N.” Nanami whispers once the two of them are up. Gojo is forcing the window. “I’ll make guard.”
Gojo nods and enters. Nanami takes out his short dage. Mahito’s room is in front of him. You’re inside, sitting on a corner, the blue haired man looking at you with a creepy smile.
“I’m not going to bite you. But I guess you like it, since Gojo likes to mark all his fucking toys.” The way he was talking, cursing and joking, with such a smile made things even more creepier. It’s true that Gojo liked to give you hickeys, and you thought that letting him mark you last night, in such a place like your neck, wasn’t a help now. Mahito let out a little laugh. “I guess someone came to help you. Should we receive him as he deserve, hm?”
Mahito takes a little knife he has on his desk. You know perfectly that Gojo doesn’t has weapons. He always fights only using his strength and known marcial arts techniques. You didn’t like that about him, how he was sure he didn’t need a weapon because “he’s the strongest.” But well, he won all the fights he has been into, so maybe he is the strongest.
Gojo opens the door quietly, without showing any hint that he’s nervous and desperate to have you between his arms again. Mahito lets out a little laugh.
“Here you are, Gojo Satoru.”
Gojo smiles quietly, a superior smile that was always followed by one of his kicks. This time wasn’t different.
His long leg impacted against Mahito’s, taking him to the ground, and making him lose his knife. Gojo steps on his hand when he tries to reach the knife.
“Such a good weapon for a bad assassin.” Gojo says. The knife shines. Gojo looks at you.
“Love, could you look to another place? I have to teach him how we treat trash like him.”
You weren’t seeing, but you could hear the kicks and the spits of Mahito on the ground, probably taking blood out of his mouth. The fight ended sooner that you thought, and you felt a soft caress in your head. When you looked to the front, Gojo’s body covered Mahito. He looked at you in the eyes, taking his blindfold apart a little bit. You felt like home when your arms found his neck.
“Are you okay?” he asked. You nod, crying. He was there, and you where with him again. He kisses your head.
“Yes.”
“Let’s go home, then.” Taking you on his arms, Gojo makes his way home. The rest appear not long after, all tired, but smiling just knowing you’re safe again.
Gojo invited all of them to have dinner, but you decided to go to bed. That’s how Nanami ended as a host of a dinner he didn’t organize and taking care of some teenagers. Gojo sits on his side of the bed, near you, and your body leans to find his.
“I was so scared. I thought I’ve lost you.” he says, his voice being even less than a whisper. “I didn’t kill him. You know that’s not my style. And my priority was having you back.” He looks at you again, how your eyes start to drop tears. He kisses you so sweetly and softly that you don’t want it to end.
“I was also scared, but you saved me. Thanks.” he smiles, passing his thumb on your cheeks.
“I’ll save you the times you need it, my love”

Danganronpa teruteru opinions on v3 students
Hey mod himiko here! This was an originally a scrapped write but I decided to revisit it. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
Shuichi
They don’t know much about each other
They only ever interact when Teruteru needs someone to figure out who stole the pie from his window cell
Kaede
While he briefly considers asking her to play piano in his Resturant…
He has had an experience asking a ultimate to preform in his Resturant
There’s still bird feathers in his Resturant to this day
Ryoma
After hearing about what happened to him he makes a effort to try and befriend him…
He offers free food for him at his Resturant putting his heart and soul into his food…
He wants the poor man to have a friend… he needs one… despite some peoples opinions teruteru is a compassionate person.
Maki roll
Yeah he’s terrified of her
Never flirts with her and tries not to interact with her if he can
Smart move
Kaito
Helps him become better at talking to females.
Gonta and Kaito work together to help him
Overall he becomes a better person because of the two of them
Kirumi
Competition never hurt anyone and kirumi is his biggest competition. Her food is just as well renowned as his.
However despite this Kirumi doesn’t view Teruteru as a competitor back. Just another person who’s good at what they do.
They both have mutual respect however and are generally good frenemies.
Kokichi
Permeant ban after he toilet papered his restaurant
Big enemies
Miu
Some people assumes there best friends, they are wrong.
There personalities as similar as they are, clash against each other
So are they enemies?
Not really Miu makes him… “inventions of a certain nature” and teruteru makes her “food of a certain nature”
They are ok with each other in small doses
Gonta
One of Teruteru’s best friends and customer
He always comes by and loves the food…enough to where Teruteru teaches him how to cook
However whenever he’s being perverted… Gonta calls him out on not being a gentlemen.
Teruteru becomes a better person because of Gonta. And Gonta learns how to cook because of Teruteru
Himiko
After watching her act an idea springs to mind… what if he could ask her to preform at his Resturant… it would mean more business for the both of them
After suggesting the idea Himiko’s agrees, soon a mini stage is set up along with adds proclaiming “come see the gifted mate himiko preform! Come see magic while eating our magical food!”
The act goes well at first until the finale where doves were let loose
After they steal everyone’s food both teruteru and himiko agree to pretend this never happened
Korekiyo
He watches with great interest while the semi regular customer eats in his diner…
How is he eating with a mask on? Why is the food disappearing when it’s near his mouth…? How does this work?
He asks shuichi to investigate this but even he has no explanation to this mystery…
I guess some mystery’s will always remain unsolved
Tenko
He tries flirting with her once
“Hey nice fighting moves, how about I show you some of my moves? ;)”
He never made that mistake again
Kiibo
Whenever his friends are at the restaurant Kiibo is there.
Teruteru is a bit weirded out that a robot who can’t eat goes to a restaurant. But he loves having him over
Kiibo and Teruteru are both good friends and his mother loves Kiibo considering him an ideal patron
Tsumigi
While there more strangers then friends… they hang out every now and then
However during a mha cosplay she gets tons of classmates to join in and cosplay too.
Including Teruteru who goes as Mineta, he plays the character perfectly
Rantaro
A regular, or somewhat of a regular… he’s often off on trips
However whenever he returns he always come to teruteru’s resturant
While he enjoys the food he always come to see if a certain someone appears in the Resturant
Perhaps one day…
For now he’ll have a glazed honey steak with a orange soda
Angie
The way she talks about atua, honestly he doesn’t know how to feel about her
He mostly just keeps her distance and keeps away from her

heyy!! first off i hope you’re having a lovely day/night and are taking care of yourself :) i noticed your requests were open buuut i don’t exactly know how your requests work or your rules for requests and such so if any of this sounds unappealing to you then feel free to disregard it!!
i was wondering if you could do (headcanons or drabbles, whichever is more comfortable for you) for the hosts and how they would react if an s/o had an encounter with a toxic ex??
sorry if it’s troublesome but you’re one of the few people i’ve seen on here who write for ohshc and i recently had a run in with one of my, not so pleasant ex’s, and i’m still a bit shaken up by it. and once again no pressure or anything and if this doesn’t sound like something you’d want to do or isn’t something you take then feel free to ignore this :)
ty for your time love <3
Hi anon! Your request was so polite and lovely, it really made my morning :) my requests work just like this! Unless I post a prompt list or something, feel free to just slide in and send me a prompt! I have a stash of my own I’m working on but I always want to hear from you all and I’m always looking for ideas!
Thanks for sending this in! I really like this idea; it really showcases each of the hosts’ personalities. I’m sorry you had a bad run-in with your ex. I hope you take the time you need to find peace and comfort away from them, and I want you to remember that you are worthy of all the pure love in the world. I’m recovering from a toxic relationship too, so my messages are open if you need someone to talk to 💖
I listened to “You should be sad” by Halsey while listening to this.
Hosts running into your toxic ex:
Tamaki:
1. Tamaki’s greatest wish in life is to have a family. A whole, complete, loving, annoying family. He made that happen at Ouran, and he wants to make it happen with you, too. When he loves, he loves with all his soul.
2. So he doesn’t understand why partners cheat. It literally astounds him. You’re in a relationship with this beautiful person you love, and you’re going to throw it all away?
3. So when he sees your ex and remembers all the things you told him they did to you, it takes everything in him not to go up to them and just tell them off.
4. You’re out shopping when you see them, and you silently duck behind Tamaki’s tall frame.
5. He instantly perks up and asks you to point out who it is, keeping you hidden behind him.
6. When you show him, he pulls you to his chest and wraps his arms around you, burying your face in his shirt so you can’t see them.
7. Petting your hair and whispering sweet assurances in your ear.
8. “You’re with me now. You don’t have to be afraid.”
9. “They don’t deserve you. They never did.”
10. “You make me so happy. I would never dream of hurting you.”
11. “I’ll never leave you.”
12. You stay cuddled in his chest until your ex passes, with Tamaki sending them a death glare until they’re out of sight.
13. Tamaki buys you anything you want to help you forget about it.
Kyoya:
1. RIP to the person that hurt you, because he will ensure their demise
2. When you first tell him about your ex, he will do a little background research on them and learn their habits to make sure whenever you go out that you don’t run in to them
3. However, one day you do happen to run into them
4. Kyoya curses himself for not doing more research
5. You try to act like everything is normal, but he notices
6. The only thing keeping him from sicing his bodyguards on them is the tight grip you have on his hand
7. You go off to the bathroom to catch your breath and clear your head
8. He goes right up to them and threatens them within an inch of their life
9. “Listen here you bastard. I know everything about you. I know your SSN. I know where you live and what you like to do. If you ever, ever hurt them or go near them again, I will not hesitate to make your life a living hell.”
10. He scares them off
11. And when you come out of the bathroom and see they’re gone, you know he did something
12. “What did you do?”
13. “Don’t worry, I took care of them.”
Haruhi:
1. She will also give them a piece of her mind
2. She’s not one to take insults lying down
3. She yelled at Yoshio Ootori, after all
4. And those men in ep. 8
5. She won’t embarrass you or make a scene
6. But if they happen to walk too close to you
7. She might stick out her foot
8. They might “trip”
9. And end up with a broken nose
10. Oh whoops how could that have happened
11. But she will lovingly rub your back to help you calm down
12. And will make you your favorite food for dinner that night
Hikaru:
1. That boy is a little ball of anger anyways
2. So Heaven help if you ex sees you two together
3. The night you told him everything about your ex, he held you until you fell asleep
4. And silently promised you and himself that he would make them pay for hurting you
5. Hikaru has two modes
6. FIGHT
7. And
8. JEALOUS
9. You have to l i t e r a l l y hold him back when you see them in public
10. He will go buck wild on their ass
11. If your ex is male, he will tear him to pieces
12. He will knock them on their sorry ass and punch them until they regret the day they were born
13. Lights out mf
14. He is so furious that this person hurt you--you, the one he loves more than anyone in the entire world--that he will not stop fighting until the guy is bleeding from every orifice
15. You’re embarrassed at first
16. But you kinda like the lengths he went to to protect your honor
17. If your ex is a girl
18. He was raised to never hit a woman
19. So he will just glare at her so hard she’s sure to be seeing stars
20. And wrap his arms around you and give you a kiss to make it obvious that you are his
21. Once they’re gone, he keeps you wrapped in his arms to give you a steady anchor
22. With whispered promises of “I will always be here”
23. And kisses pressed into your hair
Kaoru:
1. Kaoru doesn’t get enough mischievous credit
2. Remember the refreshing battle? He can pull a few tricks even without Hikaru around
3. Sure, he’s more quiet and reserved than his brother
4. But if your ex even dares to show their face when he’s around
5. Then he will make it obvious who you are currently dating
6. As soon as your ex sees you he will pull you into a makeout session
7. Doesn’t matter where you are
8. School
9. Mall
10. Hitachiin fundraiser event
11. He doesn’t care
12. Sloppy, sloppy makeout session
13. He will kiss you so hard that you forget your ex is even around
14. If you’re comfortable with it, his hands will wander, just to prove the point
15. While he enjoys kissing you because you’re you, he also wants to show your ex how much you upgraded
16. Because now you’re dating a person who is protective of you and loves you with his whole heart
17. And isn’t afraid to show it
18. And who wants nothing but your love in return
Mitsukuni:
1. Dead.
2. Plain and simple.
3. Dead.
4. Mitsukuni will see that this person makes you sad
5. And they’ll probably end up in a dungeon somewhere
6. Never seen or heard from again
7. And then he’ll just pop back up with you
8. “Where did you go?”
9. “Bakery!”
10. *slyly washes his hands of the remains*
11. Buys your silence with ice cream
Takashi:
1. Ya know that meme??? The “haha, I’m in danger” meme?
2. Yeah, that’s your ex when Takashi gets his hands on them
3. He knows you wouldn’t want much attention brought to it
4. But he feels the way your hand tenses when you see them
5. He sees the way you freeze when they walk by
6. He knows just how awful they were to you
7. And so that night when you get home, he sits down with you and untangles every knotted string connecting your heart with that person
8. He listens to you talk, holds you when you cry, and helps you figure out the healthiest way to cope with what that relationship did to you
9. He runs his fingers through your hair as you snuggle against his chest, feeling warm and safe and loved and cared for
10. You fall asleep to the sound of his heartbeat
11. He is extra nice to you the next day
12. He knows you’re still healing
13. He’s just glad you’ve allowed him there for the ride
14. He does research to find the best ways to help you heal
15. Buys books and watches TedTalks and attends online forums
16. He brings up therapy as gently as he can
17. And points to his research saying it might help
18. And he’ll go with you if you want
19. Or he will support you from afar if you want to go alone
20. All that matters is that he’s there beside you for the journey
21. He will never let that person near you ever again
22. And if they ever show up
23. His fists will make them regret the day they ever hurt you
You inspired me to write a whole one-shot with some of the hosts! I’ll put that out soon. Thanks for the suggestion, anon :) <3
