I've been cutting my own hair for a decade and I finally found a character who has the same hairdo as I, Nimona!

Gricko is actually the best at haircuts and using hair dye. He started messing with his hair as a young teen, dying the tips blue and making it look "cool". He's shaved the sides, cut it really short, did some really weird styles. There was even an attempt at a mohawk once but he hated it. He eventually settled on his current style sometime in his late 30s.

He's now the go-to whenever someone in the Krew needs a haircut. He *really* wants to try some really cool shit with Gideon's hair but Gid passes on it....usually. There was that one time he let him shave the sides of his hair. It made his hair look more like fire traveling down his head. It was fucking cool. He hasn't done it again though since they hadn't had the time. Maybe he'll let him dye it next time, if you can dye his weird fire/hair mixture.

I always laugh when I remember how, back when I posted nudes, I got complimented on my bush and how it was nice and not overwhelmingly bushy. Worded in a way that made it seem like they thought it was natural.

And like. No. I worked really hard trimming that shit to be that way. So thanks but also I think you need to rethink what “natural” looks like.

Finally got around to creating a sheath for that French leather pairing knife I got years ago as part of a SFCB class. Had forgotten it (so intense was my NO! reaction to working with leather) and the fact I could use it to trim my text blocks till I took the SFCB edge decorating class. Embedded two tiny magnets in the case to help hold the blade in place. Covered with paper made during the Renegade retreat back in April*, marbled by the talented @ziezie13.

Is now mounted on wall in craft room next to my old thread holder (which I enjoy the sight of but seldom touch these days-- the spools of thread I use now residing elsewhere)
