above all else a trans woman is a person. above all else a trans women is a woman who goes to the same grocery store as you and buys fruits in the same grocery cart as you and goes home and eats her dinner the same as you. above all else a trans woman is a woman who dresses like you do and talks the same way you do. above all else a trans woman is a woman who wants to be cared about the same way you want to be cared about and a trans woman is a woman who makes friends the same way you make friends. above all else you should care about trans women because they are people. treat her as such.
what bothers me is that i get more health-anxious-thoughts over eating a piece of chocolate than smoking a fucking cigarette. it's because it's what i've been shown and taught my emtire life by "healthy lifestyle" motherfuckers and everybody else who pushes the same old bullshit. that being fat is the worst thing that could ever happen to you, even worse than cancer and death, and you should avoid it at all costs

I always have a soft spot for characters who have a protective streak for another out of gratitude for their kindness towards them, but Charles’ protectiveness towards Edwin really hits a particular way because it’s so so apparent that it’s specifically about wanting Edwin to feel as safe and as comfortable around him as Edwin made Charles feel in his dying moments. I’m going to shatter like glass.
