I think theres definitely a better design to be had here but I did my best#ldshadowlady fanart#Impulse ofc mostly inspired from that one skin where he has a beard#seeing people do fan designs for lifers is the only thing that gave me the urge to draw this#I wanted to see how much the colors could be played around with without making the ponies unrecognizable#and also like. pleasant to the eye. She's quite charming#That being said I'm SO exicted we've been getting so much news as of late!#I'm not selling my soul on a release this year but the fact we're getting *something* has been making my heart sing like crazy#All and all I'm really exicted for Silksong but my only hope for it is that it inspires me to draw Hornet more hehe#Also misc details: The sigil on her back acts as a family crest#In game think similar to the King's Brand but made of silk/stitched to the skin/and made for weaver/deepnest royalty#I imagine her got this right before the second rise of the infection#Something princesses/queens are meant to get during adulthood#But given everything within the repairing kingdom the weavers felt that Hornet earned the right to the mark early#I'm debating on calling it The Queen's Sigil or The Royal Weaving#Something to that nature anyway hehe
