Me, responding to someone: "Yeah the ending is actually great when you compare it to how bad people on reddit are saying it is. Like I was shocked I was prepped for some abysmal shit."

COMMA BUT.#rewatching this episode i thought this was way better than i remembered #like for a season opener it's still low- but i'd rank is similarly to welcome to the hellmouth or when she was bad #so it's a decent buffy episode.#i thought the reopening of SD high works better in this episode than for the rest of the entire season #and after the events of 'grave' this episode gives me exactly what i wanted in terms of the dawn/buffy dynamic #it's very unfortunate that the rest of the season doesn't really carry on buffy's promise to show dawn the world #but this premiere really captures that essence #rewatching this episode did lure me into a false thought that i had possibly misjudged s7. then i watched beneath you right after and went.#no. still bad.

I have to say, I love that Klavier Gavin will raise an objection in court and you have to wait for him to do some air guitar routine, which I'm sure is accurate to the last note, before he even says anything. It makes Ema's disdain for him so much better because if i had to work alongside a man who had to fucking air guitar every time he experienced A Thought I would go out of my way to help the opposition. I'd see him and be like, "Here comes this fucking guy and his stupid fucking air guitar. Rockstar or prosecutor PICK ONE!"

Then, I would see the other guy who is just as annoyed at the sight of Mr. Air Guitar and I would imprint so fucking fast. "This is my brother in arms. We both fight against the tyranny of He Who Air Guitars."

I also love that he's just referred to as a fop so often. Fucking choice.

I don't know how often I'll do this though.#As I was making my little sona cut out I realized I had the power to make a dream come true.#The dream to make tiny mdzs characters snooze in a flower. For *real* this time.#So now we have little Wangxian having a little fairy nap!!!#They are quite literally thumbprint sized (actually a bit smaller) and I adore them immensely.#These flowers are also zinnias! Not sure of the exact subspecies name though.#I have few variations and a high quality version but I think this one is the best.#My favourite one position wise is sadly botched by my friend's iphone doing some wild automatic adjustments.#aka: it made the cutouts *SO BLUE* and Super Low Contrast.
