#23 Healer

Indie would LOVE to be a healer. She's always been very observant, noticing when people need help often before they do, and her triaging skills have vastly improved during her time as the WoL. In theory she'd be a good healer, except for the fact she is not in tune with her own aether.

Indie is predisposed to aether sickness and cannot always manipulate it in the way she needs to. She can see and feel what needs to be done, but she can't always do it. And so she often feels helpless, a failure. Casting is hard.

This is her current Astrologian outfit. She's signed up for it, but rarely practices.

I just caught up with ep 63 and I'm fucking vibrating. The difference of the Bor'dor reveal and the Dusk reveal! Dusk spending their entire time with the party stirring up drama, once caught out still openly provoking and trying to find an angle to straight up kill Fearne's parents, and the party still struggling to find every reason to let them go, let them live. And Dusk never gave a shit. Why would they! They were a fey assassin! And still the Hells fought and argued for them and let them walk away despite openly remaining a threat.

And then we get Bor'dor, wet paper tissue of a man, tragic backstory up to the gills, genuinely spending time to bond with them, having his little practice session with them being his proudest moment, sharing vulnerabilities. And though he drew first blood, he did it trying to run away, not kill! He did it having seen these people murder his friends and drag their dead bodies out of the hole! He was helpless on the ground, all but begging them to end him because he saw no reason to keep going! There was enough turmoil and doubt in him that he could probably have been deradicalized! He hated them but he loved them too!

And had this been early campaign, in all likelihood they would have let him live. But this is a Bell's Hells who have already been betrayed once by an ally, who lost Eshteross to the Ruby Vanguard, who lost half the fucking party to the Ruby Vanguard, who went on a grueling journey to get Laudna back, who struggled and struggled and still failed to stop Ludinus and ended up separated and scared and not knowing whether the world is about to end or not, whether their friends are alive or not.

And they were done. They did not fight for him. This is war. Were Dusk to show back up now, I doubt they’d survive the encounter.

I am currently extremely annoyed with this stage

Really feels like a "Oh you don't have Melania? Well fuck you" stage.

As of right now the only beast type characters that do mental damage on EN are Medicine Pocket, Melania, Dikke, Pavia, and Nick Bottom.

Out of all those options I only have Dikke and Pavia and I refuse to pull for Melania because I'm saving for the dog that comes in four days (maybe if I get Pickles early I'll burn the rest on Melania since that's an obvious gap in my team rn anyway) Pavia does big damage but he's frail as hell, Dikke's healing isn't enough to sustain him and idk if I built her wrong but her survivability isn't the best and her damage is lacking.

My other options for mental damage that I have built or semi built is Click who can only do single target damage and Charlie who is fucking weak to plant type enemies.

How tf am I supposed to manage killing the type 1 robots every time they spawn so Iverson doesn't get a free hit on my team every turn while making sure the big robot doesn't get a permanent damage increase because I didn't destroy the damn shield while keeping my team alive while clearing the stage in 15 fucking turns without over levelling?

I refuse to go above the recommended level even though from what I've seen the people who cleared the stage have at least one character above recommended level. There has to be a way to clear it without going over recommended level.
