I think I read a while ago on reddit that you had a madoka magica au for re zero, do you still think about it? I can Imagine Subaru taking the place of Homura but the rest of the cast is harder to place. It's a fun thought exercise though.

WAIT wow your ask sent me down memory lane wkdndn i forgot i even had a madoka magica au in the works for a while. i made it in like late 2020 and last worked on it in early-mid 2021 hah mostly bc my skill with writing and art didnt match with how big of an idea a multichap plotty crossover/fusion au was and i was still just dipping my toes into more ambitious ideas!! but id love to revisit it again now that i got more practice 👍

i like read your ask then went WAIT A MINUTE I DO HAVE A MADOKA MAGICA AU and then i skimmed through my old google doc plot outline for it in a frenzy. but also i used to write in yellow comic sans at the time so i wont subject you to my old terrible (affectionate) writing habits too much. but i think its funny how i had some notes on vague (and Dead Serious) ideas for witch form symbolism and i just found this yellow comic sans monstrosity:

2020/21 me was on some drugs probably LMAO 😭😭 but given madoka magica’s canon content that is probably a good thing if youre writing serious madoka magica fic.

also i did have a tiny bit of finished writing for it. here is the old synopsis past me came up with:

Stumbling across magic and witches, fourteen-year-old Natsuki Subaru follows his new friends and a mischievous cat spirit into a world where a single contract could grant you your greatest wish.

And at the end of it all, he really should’ve known this from the start: wishes always come with a cost.

i think that currently id probably change up this synopsis a bit if i worked on it again but it aint bad i think 👍 and yes youre right subaru would def be in homuras role for this fic… 😔 anyone whos seen both madoka magica and rezero would immediately make that connection i think hah they have. Similarities, as we know 😔

and i deaged some of the rezero cast as you can see hah. not sure if id keep that but i think an important aspect of madoka magica is that the main characters are that young. it helps add to some of their decisions and adds to the tragedy and whatnot. that and like. targeting vulnerable young girls, Literal Children, knowing that most would make a wish and sell their souls in a heartbeat and then easily be crushed by trauma without being able to fight back much, you know? :,) and then theyd make Lots and Lots of despair to harvest… and madoka was meant as a magical girl deconstruction and magical girls iirc tend to be arounddd early teens/preteens!! ill talk a bit more later on how id try to do this au with deaged rz cast hah.

also i did have a small drabble written for this au!!

The boy, no older than fourteen, stands there with an eerie sense of calm.

His frame is seemingly scrawny and lean, dawning dark clothing reminiscent of a mixture between a tracksuit and a school uniform - even if it’s adorned with golden ribbons and stripes - with a whip attached to the belt at his waist. Draped over that is a cloak, the hood of it casting a shadow over messy black hair and a cold expression. His keen eyes, emphasized by the deep bags underneath, narrow at the sight of Puck, mean and brimming with distaste.

With a steady hand, he raises a pistol to Puck’s head.

The moonlight shines dimly through the broken windows and onto the shards littered all over the floor. A beam illuminates a metal contraption, its appearance similar to a shield, strapped to the boy’s forearm.

“You know, I don’t quite recall making a contract with you,” Puck muses cheerily, though an undercurrent of a threat weaves itself into his tone. He stares down the barrel without fear, his sharp teeth revealed in his smile. “Who are you, really? And why are you so upset that I’ve been getting close with Lia? Jealous much?”

“Don’t you dare call her that,” the boy replies instead, bitterly spitting out each and every word. “Don’t you dare pretend that you only have her best interests at heart, or that you really care for her like a father figure would. It makes me sick.” He sneers as he digs the cool metal of the gun harder into Puck’s fur. “Because if you make even just one mention of creating a contract with her, or if you even come near her… I’ll definitely make sure that you regret it.”

yeah so. past me made puck kyubey apparently 😔👍 and if i revisited this au im not sure if i would keep subarus character development to be Exactly the same (ie it was very greedbaru/pridebaru/homura inspired) but this drabble was a fun exercise at the time!!

but anyway i will ramble about some more ideas i had for this au under the cut!! turned out past me had A Lot of ideas.

yes so this au was like. a fusion of sorts so yes i was assigning rz characters certain roles, blending worldbuilding together, etc etc but the general plot sort of followed the general story of the main madoka magica plot from the main show to rebellion!! it was like vaguely modernish too, but you know, madoka likes to be Creative with its backgrounds (see: the infinite amount of crazy chairs everywhere, which im still very fond of to this day) and also rz vainglory/school if has its fantasy world cast mixed in with subarus parents still being there iirc and a whole bunch of other details too (like beatrice being subarus adopted sister iirc?). so i was going the vainglory-ish route here in terms of “how modern is this world?” 👍

the main cast i was focusing on was gonna be subaru (homura), emilia (madoka), rem (sayaka), ram, beatrice, felt, and reinhard. also puck as kyubey haah and satella as walprugisnacht aka the giant witch at the end of the main show. i havent seen madoka in a bit wkdn i gotta rewatch. but anyway!! felt and reinhard got a mix of mami and kyokos roles narrative wise yeah.

quick rundown on their characters is that i wanted to stick to the rz cast’s canon characterization as much as possible while leaving room for fun experimentation!! and if theyre still younger than normal canon here—subarus still got his Big Ego/Im The Main Character mindset but in that way thats specific to his little kid self bc he hasnt gotten Completely Depressed yet (think like. arc 7-8 type stuff), reinhards still stuck in the middle of watching his dad gradually deteriorate, felts even Younger and still trying to find her footing a bit, rem is Guiltily and enviously trying to live up to ram’s Golden Childness (this is pre-Incident That Kills Their Whole Family). and emilia has lived a lonely life in the forest somewhere with no one for company :,) i cant remember if i had some Magic Mindfuckery ideas for her backstory here but ive definitely had ideas for modernizing her backstory for other aus like this!! but either way emilias family is still dead ;-; and i do consider like. the idea that modern emilia would have albinism, especially when there is discrimination in place against people with albinism that is a little similar to emilias canon struggle with her appearance so a modern take of emilia being that she is someone with albinism would be Very Relevant!! but!! not sure if id go all the way with that bc its a sensitive topic that needs to be treated with care and i dont personally have albinism 👍 or i could go the magic route and go “emilia looks like a previous magical girl thats become the most powerful witch yet….” ie satella ofc. so emilia would still be a bit of a “red flag” to other magical people.

but yes emilia wished for. im not sure but probably smth like “i wish not to be lonely anymore”…………. and then she got her wish granted via having magical girl/boy friends and puck!!!!! thisll totally end happily.

and quick note on reinhard is i didnt have much plot ideas for him yet but i considered different ideas for his backstory!! maybe theres some magic fuckery and theresia was a magical girl once? no clue how that works but it was an Idea i had for sure. also various ideas to modernize the Astrea Family Drama (dont worry the accidental indirectly/directly causing your family member’s death thing would still be there wkdndh this is an important detail to me.) but regardless of whats going on with reinhards backstory his wish was a naive little kid wish!! he wanted to be a hero who helps people ;-; good going reinhard ;-;

the entire plot of this au in general was divided in half, first half would be the first timeline where things go wrong. subarus gonna be the pov and hes the audience surrogate bc hes new to the world of magical girls/boys and no one in the group 100% knows the ugly truth yet!! and like in canon emilia/madoka has already become a magical girl here. emilia is also already close with puck—and emilia is the one person puck has genuine fondness for ;-; and i had a Lot of ideas for what exactly went wrong here—i had elsa and meili planned as witches? and i think i considered disemboweling felt :<<<< this is very sad bc her family gave her away to save her bc they were in danger (yes just like in canon rz) but then later felt had her life threatened or smth? and like mami, felt wished to keep living. but the wording felt used was wanting to “live strong”…………….. well she sure got it by fighting elsa valiantly but still losing 😔

also ok the first person to become a witch is beatrice. i had like wild ideas with beatrice—the possibility that echidna still made beatrice and puck and that beatrice couldve been a failed—whats the word for the creatures in madoka that collect/cause magical girls??? incubators i think?? yeah that. because whatre the two things a little kids gonna probably trust?? a cute cat creature and a tiny little girl offering free wishes, probably. and of course beatrice got assigned by her biomom echidna to look after echidnas library maybe. bc echidnas funny like that and beatrice didnt work out as an incubator so now shes gonna generate soooo much despair when she realizes that there is no That Person + the truth of magical girls/boys and what beatrice was meant to be used for….

yes more various shit hits the fan bc rem and rams canon witch cult backstory… i had plans to adjust it for this au and make it happen In Real Time. and also rem’s wish was probably something along the lines of wanted to be needed. and Better. so not just Like Ram. but rem wanted to be More than ram. which rem is guilty about but thats still what she wants so she wishes for it away from rams eyes. ofc rams feelings on this is that she just wants her sister to treasure herself and be safe and whatnot but rem is kinda in her pre-witch cult trauma mode and Oops now their town is destroyed in flames and their family is dead ;-;;; not sure how else id modernize rem and rams backstory but yes this is. this is how their plot went in that first timeline wkdnd. and ram is injured in some way ;-;;;

yes and then rem you know pulls a sayaka and goes a little crazy about everything bc beatrices whole ordeal already revealed how fucked they all are and then rem and rams Trauma just happened so rem feels like shit!! and then she becomes a witch too oops ;-; and then reinhard decides to be the hero and sacrifices himself so emisuba can escape ;-;; or at least that was my plan at the time. but yeah rem became better (a magical girl. bc ram didnt feel like making a wish bc her only wish would be wanting rems happiness but she didnt want to Cheat That. she wanted rem to find it on her terms. except rem became “better” and bigger than ram by being a witch also oops. also i think i still had vague plans to include rem being Obsessed with subaru to contrast what will later be subarus emilia obsession haha) and then reinhard. is the hero. </3

satella comes in somewhere at the end. she used to be a magical girl but she became a witch and shes Crazy Powerful for reasons i have forgotten now 👍 but i definitely wanted to have more shenanigans going on with her backstory to keep that sort of emilia-satella-subaru mystery connection. and theyre still connected anyway bc emisuba inevitably lose to satella bc shes too powerful ;-; emilia is gonna die and puck realizes OH SHIT I SHOULDNT BE FEELING LOVE BUT I DO GENUINELY LOVE EMILIA I CANT DEAL WITH THIS. WITH HER DYING. ID RATHER DESTROY EVERYTHING THAN LET THAT HAPPEN. and ofc subarus also in agreement bc oh god oh god—and yeah. subaru hasnt made a wish until this point but he makes a contract with puck to promise to save Everyone. like subarus promise in canon right before he dies for the first time you know? bc then he dies.

and wooooo the time loop officially begins!!! i had more ideas but i have typed lots on this post already akfnd maybe ill save it for another time if people are interested.

but yes thats all thats the au!!!! i am not familiar with stuff like magia record yet sadly ;-;; but if i ever wanted to expand the au thats def One option 👍 bc WOW the rz cast would be such a goddamn gold mine for those fucking incubators. little kid felix argyle would be a Top Tier candidate for them. like can you imagine???? thatd be the biggest disaster of all time ;-;;; and also theres Lots of possibilities for various witches the cast can fight!! very fun stuff its why i chose elsa and meili and satella :o !! but yes id consider exploring other candidates for magical girls and boys as well bc WOW felix would go insane here.

so i have never watched a single episode of amphibia but i hear a lot about it on tumblr bc the owl show and frog show fandoms overlap a ton

anyway i have decided to write out what i THINK the plot is from secondhand info. for my frog show mutuals’ entertainment and also to probably look back at and laugh if/when i end up succumbing to peer pressure and watching it

frog show fans pls tell me how far off my understanding is

-anne, marcy, and sasha are besties. it’s kinda codependent and unhealthy and sasha is kinda crappy to them sometimes.

-anne is the only one with anything resembling a healthy home life. honestly i don’t know much abt her personality except she’s like a general kindhearted and cheerful protagonist.

-marcy is clumsy and into fantasy nerd stuff. she is also perfect and wholesome and must be protected at all costs.

-sasha is like. a vriska, or a catra.

-they are definitely gay and polyamorous but michael mouse wont allow that to happen

-sasha peer pressures anne into stealing a box (i think it called the calamity box) from a thrift shop. they open it and get isekaied to frog world

-they all end up in different parts of frog world. i think the box explodes or something.

-anne is taken in by hoppop (old frog) and sprig (young frog) and polly (VERY young frog)

-idk if the frogs are blood relatives or not. i think hoppop is not their dad cuz i think sprig is an orphan. is he their grandpa? just some random old man? are sprig and polly sibllings or just two separate frog children? who knows.

-either way they’re just a wholesome little frog family living in a podunk town in frog world.

-anne wants to find her friends and go home but in the meantime she is just having happy wholesome frog adventures with her frog family

-gee, anne, how come the writers let you have TWO wholesome families?

-meanwhile, marcy gets taken in my a newt(?) called king andrias. he seems nice at first but is Not

-meanwhile meanwhile sasha gets taken in by a toad named grimes

-grimes is kinda evil. but is nice to sasha. and like not too ridiculously evil just like kinda sketch. not really workin for anyone just causing trouble to get whatever tf he wants. he is like that wreck it ralph meme “just because you are a bag guy doesnt mean you’re a bad *guy*”

-the three girls need to find each other and all the pieces of the box so they can go home

-grimes is doing some unspecified Evil and sasha helps him. i think during this, marcy and anne get reunited with sasha? or maybe it’s not at the same time. idk.

-sasha pushes anne off a cliff and stabs marcy. maybe because they’re getting in the way of her and grime’s Evil Plan. or maybe because she doesn’t WANT to go home but they want to and she just wants to keep doing crimes with her new crime dad

-idk how this gets resolved

-anne ends up going home tho. and takes her new frog family with her. her parents are very nice. maybe she just needed the box to go home and she got the box pieces from the other 2?

-surprise! grimes isnt the most evilest. king andrias is secretly Very Very Evil. marcy doesnt know this yet

-i think he heals marcy’s stab wound by putting her in a pickle jar. but oh no! he wasn’t just being nice to her, he just needed her alive so he could Use Her for Evil

-he made a pact with a axolotl demon for Power. he lets the demon possess marcy

-enter olivia and yunan. they’ve got an early-series marceline and princess bubblegum kinda vibe going on. like the censors wont let it be canon confirmed but they are DEF ex gfs who are still in love

-they worked with andrias. they thought he was a chill dude but then they saw him hurt marcy and were like aw heck no, not in MY rodeo.

-they decide to be marcy’s moms now. they wanna do some cool traitor moves and save marcy but they don’t really know how bc she is like possessed now and also the king is super powerful. they gotta be Sneaky

-anne, home now, is like yay im home but aw geez i gotta go back to frog world to help my (girl)friends. but she doesnt know how and doesnt know what she’d even do once she got there

-idk what sasha and toad dad are doing now. probably some kind of Criminal Activity against the king. they have selfish intentions but anything that screws the king over is probably a net good

Whats doubly funny is that since the buffs are for the entire archetype, while stat buffs wont make the already buff high rarity duelist guards any better, it WILL make Melantha even more stupidly cost effective than she already is which only makes their problems worse.

Duelist guards are considered weak because as single block guards with big HP and big ATK with low def, their best niche was as anti-arts assassins. It gets less useful the later in the game you get, and any time you might actually need one... You got Melantha, who's so absurdly cheap to raise and yet so swole she can reach 1000+ ATK by herself as a 3 star.

Skadi needs a really, REALLY tough cookie of an enemy to be optimal.

Franka works best on enemies who both have high DEF and high RES (thus being tough vs both Phys and Arts) with mediocre attacks. These are very rare, pretty much just Patriot's shield guards.

Matoimaru was made to be self sufficient and swole even for her archetype, boasting gigantic stats for a 4 star. But just like Iris that kinda works against her, you don't really need a self healing guard for an archetype that acts as an assassin, and Melantha will pretty much kill all the same caster enemies you bring Matoimaru for which makes her huge stats a bit wasteful.

Castle is a support bot. What's he gonna do with an HP and ATK buff?

Conviction's... Conviction.

That's not to say duelists are unusable in late game or even really all that bad— I've actually gotten quite a lot of use out of Franka despite all the meta advice saying she sucks eggs—It's just that maybe the archetype known for high HP and high ATK could be better helped by anything other than a buff to HP and ATK.

Looks like we'll be waiting for their modules to see some real changes.

The Report Card – Fantasy High Sophomore Year Ep 2

Boggy the Froggy!

Welcome back, ya’ll! We jump back in with our Bad Kids (or 4/6 of them anyway) the very next day. Fabian sends Gilear out on a coffee run on the threat of bodily harm. His mom–who, if you remember is low-key a total badass–tells Fabian that if Gilear doesn’t come back from the quest alive, she’s going to duel him to the death on top of the house. Yikes. At Chez Thistlespring, Gorgug’s parents give him another very detailed sex talk and then remind him that he lives in a world where magic is very real so any and all dreams he remembers should be treated as omens. 

At the haunted house, Adaine wakes up having had portentous dreams like everyone else which is doubly concerning I have to imagine considering (1) she is the eleven oracle and (2) as a full elf she’s supposed to trance, not sleep and dream. Luckily for her nerves, she cast Find Familiar the night before and summoned an emotional support familiar which she gave the amazing name Bogariel Frogariel aka: Boggy the Froggy. 

Meanwhile (and I needed to switch paragraphs because Kristen is doing the D&D equivalent of playing Twister while everyone else is playing Checkers as she is wont to do) Kristen is talking to Tracker about changing Yes? again because she is filled with doubt about her god of doubt but the one thing she clearly doesn’t have doubt about is her relationship with Tracker because it’s been less than a year and she already sees wedding bells in their future. Wild. She also invites Tracker on the quest, rectifying what I thought was a wild oversight last week. 

Everyone meets up and they realize Fig and Riz are missing. They (specifically Fabian) can’t get Riz on the phone (which has never happened before) and all of Fig’s stuff is missing. They head over to Riz’s office to see if they can find him but, before that, Tracker cancels the church of Yes? because, sure. 

There are signs of a struggle at Riz’s office, but no blood. They find a picture of Riz’s super-spy dad (Pok) with his arm around someone who appears invisible to them (though the spot is circled in red). They also find claw marks going up to a mirror. Adaine stops Gorgug from touching the mirror which would have driven him insane and had him attack the group. She sees a twisted version of Riz in the mirror which no one else can see until she describes it (suspicious). Then, she dispels magic and the Riz appears in the room…and attacks them (roll for initiative baybee)!

Fabian is flipped the F out. Kristen decides to chill out and drink Riz’s coffee–much to the incredulousness of everyone else (she’s on those chill existential dread vibes). Adaine and Gorgug are stricken by fear but they’re able to snap out of it quickly. Once they’re sure it’s not Riz (the doppelganger is going full creepy horror movie monster with the head twisting and biting and junk), they start going full throttle but Kristen gets a clutch roll and lands a banishment on Nightmare Riz (who was invisible at the time). Also, Adaine finds a gun but no one is down with her packing heat without proper firearms training so she reluctantly puts it back. They confer with Sandra-Lynn and they find out Fig has, for some reason, gone to Bastion City (the capital) and Gorthalax is missing. Also, because Emily is Emily whether she’s present or not, they find out that Fig has decided to multiclass and she is now a bard/warlock with her demon dad as her patron. Those might be connected because, as her patron, Gorthalax can now find Fig at all times.  

Sklonda, in the meantime, has been investigating a robbery at the mall. They end up there too because Gilear (who is back from his coffee run) said he saw Fig’s bus in the area. They tell Ragh to meet them there and then head over (Gorgug in the old family car which he buys from them for 30 gold (the cost of a pony)–the amount Adaine suggests after the Thistlesprings reject his insane offer of 1000 gold). Also, Kristen leaves her brothers some gold secretly which is sad and also I think not the best way to handle that, but the intention is good. The robbery was of a gem–non-magical I believe–called the Devil’s Heart. [Edit: And apparently Fig’s doing.] Fabian shows up, tries to be helpful, and then eats glass. Normal stuff. 

The group tries to figure out what’s going on with Fig by calling the hotel she’s at and basically doing a straight improv comedy routine, each passing the phone around with a bad story until Adaine just hangs the phone up. Then, they find out from Sklonda that Pok’s partner is a tabaxi (cat person) named Kalina and she is in the empty space in the photo. Sklonda and Sandra-Lynn can see it even though the Bad Kids can’t. 

With that information gathered, the group leaves Elmville for the first time on the way to the Hotel Cavalier in Bastion City and, hopefully, Fig.

Poor Gilear. Fabian solicits increasingly complicated coffee orders from his friends to make Gilear’s job harder and tries to get them to threaten Gilear on their behalf. Even Sandra-Lynn was like, bro. Lay off the guy. Bad form, sir. (Hilarious, but bad). 

Honor Roll

Adaine for Rocking Her Portent Rolls

Adaine had a 19 and a 4 for her portent rolls this session and she used them very judiciously. The first was her 19 which she gave to Gorgug who was about to fail his saving throw and touch the mirror which would have led to him attacking everyone (she has a vision of his beheading her in a rage–sidenote love that Brennan makes her portent rolls actual visions instead of just having the mechanical effect of changing the roll happen). The second was a 4 which she gave to Brennan who was rolling for concentration on Nightmare Riz’s fear spell. What a power move to stare your DM in the face and say, “You roll a 4.” Amazing. Portent rolls are so good you guys. Also, bonus points for coming up with the name Bogariel Frogariel. 

Random Thoughts

Fabian’s response to his mom’s ultimatum that she will fight him if Gilear doesn’t return alive? “Damn, guess I have to fight my mom.”

“MAGIC IS REAL AND SO IS MY FROG.”

Brennan describes Boggy as just the most archetypal looking, round, squishy frog and I want a plush of his yesterday. Or a stress ball! It would go with his whole emotional support thing in game. I love that Siobhan picked not the potentially “useful” or “cool” animal. She went full Marie Kondo and was like, “What’s gonna spark some joy?” Boggy also can give her the help action, which is great!

The episode was great even 2 cast members down, but they were missed. On more than one occasion, I was like, “This is more quiet than usual. I wonder why–ah Emily.” We better get her reaction to Boggy as soon as she’s back.  

Kristen brings up the concept of patenting a god which is wild. We also get an answer to the question I had last week about Tracker’s cleric status–she still is a cleric of the moon goddess. The moon goddess is just chill with her followers not being exclusive. 

Fabian sans Riz is a hilarious mess. For anyone who likes them together as friends and/or romantically there was a lot of Content. Fabian being like, “Idk about Fig but something is def wrong with the Ball because he always answers on the first ring when I call  him.” Him canonically forgetting that he has a name other than The Ball (that’s the name in his phone, obv). And, the coup de grace, him investigating RIz’s office, but only for signs of his name. Him trying to Investigate like Riz, rolling a nat 1, and literally eating glass (“I thought I could taste fingerprints!”). 

“Coffee’s ordered, is the Ball dead?”

Adaine as everyone is clowning on Fabian for possibly making out with the Hangman: The Hangman is much more human than my bitch sister. 

Nightmare Riz, who they still think is actual Riz at this point, pops out of the mirror and Fabian and Adaine’s reactions respectively are, “You can’t do these things!” and, “It’s like 60% of our grade.”

The idea of Gorgug going from a terrified scream into a barbarian rage scream is very funny. Where are the animatics people?

Oh, speaking of people, Fantasy High was trending on tumblr the morning after this stream. Nice job, guys! 

The talk that Gorgug’s parents give him about all dreams being significant is something I always say in movies/books/shows like this. You have protagonists who *know* they live in a magic world and they have weird dreams and it’s not until 2/3rds of the way into the story that they’re like, “Wait. My dreams…mean something?” Bitch, what?

Gorgug’s initial coffee order is Hot Chocolate with a shot of decaf.

Everyone is very chill with Tracker coming onto the quest. Adaine just has one rule: No sex in the tent while they’re also in the tent. Kristen asks like she’s offended Adaine would feel the need to say that but like…come on. 

At first, I thought the invisibility in the photo was similar to the non-Adaine bad kids not being able to see Nightmare Riz until she described him but they still couldn’t see the woman in the photo after Sklonda described her so not sure what was going on with the mirror. 

I went back to the episode where Riz finds the photo of his dad (First Kisses and Last Words at around 1 hour, 27 mins in) and in that photo it’s of his dad and his mom. So either (1) it’s a different photo, (2) Brennan forgot/retconned something, or (3) something seriously screwy is going on. I will also note two observations here. Sklonda mentioned that Kalina doesn’t drink but was holding up her hand in a toast like she was drinking in the photo. That seems too specific a detail to not mean anything. And the second thing is, last ep, we did learn about a servant of the Nightmare King called the Shadow Cat and Kalina (if that is her real name) is a tabaxi so that’s something to think about. 

With all the complicated coffee orders flying around, Adaine just changes hers to a black coffee to try and make Gilear’s life a little easier (her original order was a Peppermint Mocha–sans the threat of violence to Gilear Fabian was offering). I do really love that Adaine seems genuinely concerned about the guy. SOMEONE should be. And it’s consistent with her characterization of just being generally well mannered and empathetic. 

Kristen getting the banishment on Nightmare Riz is something she did after Ally asked for it and Brennan was like, “lol, sure on a 19 or 20.” Boom. Rolled a 19. Just like in the prom fight. So the lesson here folks is don’t give your players a conditional yes and then expect the dice to bail you out. 

Kristen’s existential crisis is so crazy to me because she’s having, like, a prototypical Crisis of Faith™ (and pretty realistically) except, unlike in real life, she has certain knowledge about the existence of gods, life after death, and the means to communicate with those deities in the present day like…I feel like you’re crisis-ing wrong, girl. She’s crisis-ing like she just deconverted from Christianity when I feel like what actually happened is closer to, like, quitting a sorority or realizing you hate your major or changing political parties.

Ragh had a dream matching up with Gorgug’s (but he didn’t realize it was Gorgug in his dream) which means something and I’m sure we’ll figure out what soon enough. 

The Fabian eating glass scene is another one where you truly need to see it to understand how great it is. Lou is equally game to have Fabian be the coolest person who ever lived or a huge baby and Fabian running away crying because he has glass shards in his tongue is incredible. Hilariously, he runs into Ragh in the food court who has also eaten glass in the past (“Glass is literally invisible.”) and they bro bond over it so hard (“That’s my boy!”) that Tracker and Kristen are like…are they a thing?

The other crazy scene is the gang passing around the phone trying to convince the hotel receptionist to give them info about Fig. Kristen comes up with the name Teddy Guyger (and Zac and I at the same time are like, “Did you get the name Teddy because you have a teddy bear in your inventory rn?”). Fabian tries to drop his dad’s name. Their first move for some reason isn’t to give the phone to Gorgug who is also a part of the band. Adaine just hangs up the phone like Peppa Pig. Exquisite comic timing. 

“I cast bane on Gilear.”

I love the running joke of Adaine having visions throughout the day of her friends in the process of doing dumb BS.

Nightmare Riz going after Fabian’s good eye was big gross. Thanks Brennan, I hate it.  

I wonder if what’s going on with Fig is completely different than what’s going on with Riz. Just because they’re gone for the same reason irl, doesn’t mean they’re gone for the same reason in game. Nightmare Fig could be a fun fight though.

As someone whose fave thing in D&D is not combat, I thought the fight in this episode was great. Interesting concept, good chance for in-character reactions, not too long .

I’m so sorry to hear about your dog �� Losing a beloved pet is always hard. I don’t personally have experience with at home euthanasia, but sadly I have plenty of experience with euthanasia in general. My vet’s criteria for when it’s the best option is when the dog can no longer perform basic quality-of-life activities like eating, drinking, sleeping, walking, going to the bathroom, etc. It’s never easy but I know it’s the kindest choice when they’re suffering.

Thank you <3 I have def known this would be coming for a while since german shepards and labs usually end up going due to hip problems, and she’s a mix so double the bad genes. She is clearly in pain and struggling but she hasn’t let that stop her yet, she still eats and goes outside and can go to the bathroom more or less fine, and she is very happy and excited like 90% of the time, but I know it wont last. I hope when she sees the vet they tell us that she’ll be okay for a while longer, but I honestly don’t have my hopes up. 

I was looking in to at home euthanasia because we have another dog who is very attached to her and some sources say that if the dog can see the other one’s body they can come to terms with the situation better than if their friend just vanished and never returned. Plus she probably wouldn’t do well in a car ride and the vet makes her incredibly anxious so being at home would offer her(and us) a lot more comfort, as well as make it possible for more people to be there since she has a lot of friends who love her and would like to be there to comfort her as she passes.

It’s def gonna be rough but I’ve seen it coming for a while. It is a bit comforting to know my options though, it takes a lot of the confusion and uncertainty out of the equation and just lets me focus on the time we have left. Also luckily the first at home euthanasia business we found has stellar reviews and the consensus seems to be that it’s a better option for both the pet and the family.  I just really hope it doesn’t end up costing too much, we already had to pay for a few vet visits for my cat since she got a cold, and my other dog is gonna need to go in to get his shots and likely some anxiety medicine to help his anxiety once his friend is gone, and I’m getting my wisdom teeth out later this month and whooooo boy is it putting a serious dent in any savings I have. It’s worth it for her, but still, it’s def a concern.

2018 Extreme Rules Predictions.

Pre Show:

Andrade Cien Almas vs Sin Cara: This is a easy squash match for Almas in my opinion. Sin Cara hasn’t been relevant since I don’t know when and Manny is one of the best talent on the roster. Sucks it’s a pre show match but I don’t think there is any chance we will see Andrade lose here.

The New Day vs Sanity: They NEVER let Sanity win....anything? I don’t see the point of this match honestly outside of the WWE wanting to squeeze the popular trio of the New Day onto the event. This is one of those I want Sanity to win situations but it’s a safe bet to assume New Day will come out on top.

Main Card:

Alexa Bliss vs Nia Jax (  WWE Raw Women's Championship ): I’m among the large population of people who think that Ronda is going to interfere in this match, probably giving Alexa a chance to jump in and hit Nia with a chair shot, roll-up pin or something. Setting up a triple threat match between these ladies at SS. It’ll be your typical Alexa and Nia match with Alexa coming out the winner due to Ronda’s interference.

AJ Styles vs Rusev ( WWE Championship ): With my love for both AJ and Rusev this is going to be one of the matches I’m looking forward to the most. I have a hard time believing that Rusev is going to beat AJ if Shinsuke didn’t but wilder things have happened before right? Rusev is WAAAAAY overdue for this win but I just don’t think it’s going to happen? I think AJ walks out still champion.

Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt vs The B-Team (  WWE Raw Tag Team Championship ): Don’t know many people who really care about this feud? I don’t know if Vince and the boys thought that they would be able to strike magic twice like with what they did with Cesaro and Sheamus but this was a big fail. I don’t care who wins? I just want The Revival as tag champs which might be a thing at SS? I’m going to say Matt and Bray retain just because Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel are just used to get people wins.

Carmella vs Asuka (  WWE SmackDown Women's Championship ): This is going to be a good match. Carmella continues to improve every time I watch her and Asuka is one of the very best in the company. James Chinsworth is going to destroy this match, ofc. And it’s going to suck to see Asuka get chewed up in the Vince machine and basically be just another female on the roster, smh. I like Carmella and think outside of Alexa she’s def the next best heel the company has as far as ladies go but I def think Asuka needs this win to protect her.

The Bludgeon Brothers vs Team Hell No (  WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship ): Don’t @ me but Luke and Eric have been complete savages since been giving this legit shot and have form to become a very creditable tag team like they was in NXT. I don’t want to see what has been a shockingly great run with the belts spoiled just for a cheap Daniel Bryan pop when we all know he’s off for bigger things! A lot of people think this match will be decided by a Miz interference to cost Daniel to set up their match at Summer Slam... I would rather see that feud/match saved for Wrestlemania unless one of them will be in a title match come ‘Mania. I’m gonna side with Luke and Eric winning this match only because I wanna think that the WWE will want to look at the long term goal instead of short time. If we let the Bludgeon Brothers hold the belts to let’s say Survivor Series? It would be a good reign as champions and will make them a real legit threat for tag gold further down the lines.

Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins ( Intercontinental Championship ): I think we could’ve done without the iron man match stipulation but I’m still looking forward to it. I think this match could have several different endings to it, whether Ambrose comes out in the closing minutes to help Seth score one last fall to edge Dolph out. Or Drew costing Dolph the match to set up a feud there? I’ve struggled with trying to figure out why would Dolph drop back the title to Seth tbh, I just don’t see any real reason for it? If Dolph retains we can still get Drew vs Dolph at SS for the strap which would be the perfect launch to Drew’s main roster single run. Gut feeling is telling me that Seth will win though so that’s who I’m going with. 

Roman Reigns vs Bobby Lashley: People can shit on this match as much as they want. But Roman and Bobby is going to be a whole lot of huge power spots, and probably the second most violent match on the card, Braun and KO will probably have the most lmao. If it’s the main event then great? If not, I’m fine with that too. I think it only makes sense to have Bobby win here? Nobody is going to care for Roman vs Brock pt. 1000 for the SS main event? So I’m going to pick Bobby to win here, I know this mean Roman at the moment wont have a match for SummerSlam but we ALL know Vince will find a way to get him on the card regardless.

Jeff Hardy vs Shinsuke Nakamura ( US Championship ): This might be the match of the night when all is said and done! I love myself some Jeff Hardy and think that at some point this year he will be holding gold again but nobody needs a title win more than Nakamura. He should’ve beaten Styles for the WWE Championship but a heel foreigner winning the US title is something we know Vince loves and who better to execute that role than ‘Sorry, I don’t speak English.’ Shinsuke Nakamura?

Finn Balor vs Baron Corbin: I’m tired of the disrespect that Finn and Baron both are going through. Like come on now, why is Finn not a champion right now? Why isn’t Baron a champion right now? These two are some of the companies best and they are in a pointless matches like this? I hope this isn’t a one and done kinda match between the two at least so it’s not at all completely pointless for this match to be happening but I think Finn will win here just because I don’t see too many babyfaces winning tonight.

Braun Strowman vs Kevin Owens: Can this be the main event? If we aren’t going to put the WWE Championship, the belt with the most prestige in the final slot why can’t this match be the last on the card? The steel cage is a great feature that I think will be the main reason why Kevin Owens wins this match. Why else would they add this to the match? Braun doesn’t need a cage to win, he could easily pin KO and nobody would have an issue with it. I don’t know if there will be any interference or not in this match that will allow KO the chance to snake out of the cage but I think it’s almost certain that Braun will lose.

no one knows his real name beside his mom, and the seelie queen I would assume. unless there’s a seelie ( or even a merperson ) who was around when he was residing in the faerieland

speaking of, he was born in the faerie realm and lived there for the first 20 years of his life with his mom ( 1790-1810+ )

never saw his dad much, for reasons I’m not disclosing here other than the man being an unseelie & involved in some shady dealings >_>

mom wanted to move back to korea where she had lived part of her life, naturally emery followed along mostly just to help her settle down and to see what it was like, ever the curious soul

she got her hands on some land and started a small business making lavish traditional clothes which ended up getting her a hefty sum of money over the years, while he was mostly helping and doing his own things on the side, going cross country for mundane as well as seelie business.

spent some good 30 years there before he decided to start travelling across globe. which is more or less what he been doing since then, not settling down for more than a max 10 years at a time really. now he’s been living in wilshire for a good 2 years

I don’t want to name a specific timeline for where he’s been when cause yo if anyone wants to plot something that happened in the past in whatever country/city, I’m down! mostly boy’s been in europe tho. that said he has been in wilshire before too occasionally so a past plot based around the city could be done ( as long as it’s some 30+ years into past )

how he’s maintained that is another thing. from early age he’s been extremely interested in gemstones and their qualities and all that, how pretty you could polish them & adding his own magic into the mix he begun experimenting with making sort of charms out of them in the form of jewellery and soon found a genuine passion in the craftsmanship ( mean he went to work as a proper apprentice for years and all, under different people too ) and he’s amassed a pretty nice following of people who vouch for his ‘product’ being of highest quality and materials. or at the very least have heard of him by the name ‘gemma’. we’re talking of a sort of legacy garnered along 150 years of him doing this so.

word has gotten around within the downworlders circles as much shadowhunters, everything is custom made so you wont be able to just say oh I want this kind of thing and expect him to have it on the go oh no. it would take minimum 2 weeks. and he’s a strict perfectionist so even if you were fine with him applying some shortcuts while crafting pride alone would have him refuse

first of all you have to get in contact with him, which is harder than it should be these days since he’s not exactly advertising, though has been giving out business cards to select few cause they’re fun. so unless you specifically know him as the jewellery/charm maker ‘gemma’ honestly your best bet is to ask around the shadow market and someone might direct you to him

in addition to all that, he’s made a name for himself in the mundane world too by having lines of jewellery sold in boutiques all over for the last 30+ years. rumour is he’s retired - which is true - but nothing’s confirmed cause he’s an ass

no one knows it’s emery tho now cause with that whole thing he heavily altered his looks as well as what name he slapped on that entire thing when handling business. as far as mundanes know ‘jon kim’ has disappeared off the face of earth and he ain’t doing a thing to prove otherwise

but listen, he needs the space for work ( has one room just for that ) and other stuff and a decent sized yard for gardening cause he’s growing all kinds of flowers & shit. some illegal but shh

he’s the kind who acts being ( tentative ) friends with most everyone who he meets but no one really knows him. very guarded about his past & secrets and keeps everyone at an arms length, tho it might not feel like he’s doing that cause. yeah. it’s not out of ill will or anything. well, most of the time. he’s just careful over who to blindly trust– which is no one

likes messing with people but can be kind too. it all depends what mood he in and what energy you giving him

not exactly charitable, with money or anything but if you need help he most likely will agree to lend a hand. tho again, may not be for free

deep deep down wishes he could trust people, even one person enough to just be real with them and open and shit but also is well aware how dangerous that could be so. chooses not to act on those impulses of affection or whatever when they rise. tries not to at least

-dick is one who’s talent is def in his athleticism. This boi is the nice-mom-jock of the fam.

-his Titan teammates all thought he was almost on par w/ cyborg as a techie but it was all a Lie that he is Ashamed to never admit to (he will Deny It at All Costs)

-Babs was a budding expert when she joined Bruce’s crusade. & by the time she finished high school early she was even ahead of his expertise (but Bruce didn’t want to admit it at the time)

-she was happy to provide tech pointers when dick was still Angsting as a Titan & refused to call Bruce but she totally uses it as leverage f he started to annoy her

-ofc she only kept getting better after her rebirth as Oracle

-jason didn’t care at all for learning abt tech stuff, but still wanted to be well-rounded enough to hold his own

-that changed when he stole Dicks RedX suit bc he was Ready to Improve & Surpass dick’s achievements

-those plans were put on hold after he died, but he rebounded from that after realizing how much he needed to put into his big Revenge/Avengence plan for his big Comeback

-tim was naturally gifted like Babs. And surpassed her record for going tech-pro by the time he was 14 (as opposed to her 15/16-ish timeframe). Didn’t pass her expertise until abt 18 tho. But he Tried & that’s what matters

-cass followed in dicks footsteps for mooching off of Babs & tims tech-pertise. Altho she remembers to thank them a lil more often than he does, so she gets a free pass to ask for anything. No questions asked

-she’s v go w/ the flow when it comes to tech aspects of learning the crime stuff

-Harper is more about hardware than software like tim & Babs are. But she knows enough to hold her own in helping them debug stuff. She n Jason get along rlly well when trying to make new gadgets & improvements for their batputers

-duke is the embodiment of the Jack of all trades & tech is no different

-luke falls in w/ Harper n Jason as part of Team Hardware. He likes to take after his dad in the design dept for the batfam’s gear tho

-Tiffany is like Child^tm when she joins. So everyone eases her into the tech thing. “no pressure” is a v common thing she hears from them & she knows they mean well

-Kate & Bruce are almost on the same page w/ the tech stuff. But Bruce still has a considerable lead over Kate (experience n time as Batman ofc. Kate didn’t rlly show up in Gotham as batwoman till later in the game after all) she’s still all about accepting help after she realizes how much easier it is

And for the FutureFam:

-Helena Kyle-Wayne knows a Lot. Ofc. Not a tech-pert but she holds her own. She’s the daughter of Batman & Catwoman for Pete’s sake!!!

-Carrie was another combat-savvy, partially-tech-deprived kid. She caught onto coding p quick & there was hope for her. She just wasn’t as interested in it at first glance

-Terry is a Mess when it comes to software. If he can’t smash it to fix the problem, there’s no hope that his failed hacking will work. As long as Bruce or smone else guides him step by step he’s fine but if he’s on his own, only God will be able to save the city. (Until Bruce finally cracks down on him to learn the batfam’s standard of The Basics)

Hey! Could I ask for your opinion since I know you've got really strong views about Berkut in FEH? I really love my boy and just for fun I wanna give him a good build and I was thinking the following: Berkut's Lance +, Draw Back or Reposition, Ignis, Water Boost 3, Quick Riposte 3, Threaten Def 3 (or whatever for C slot, since I don't have horse emblem team so Ward Cavalry is useless). Thoughts? Criticism? Disappointment for trying to use a B-tier unit who deserved better? )':

i wouldnt necessarily say strong views, i am just more vocal than others about the way they screwed him over stats wise i guess

as for the build you suggested it looks good besides water boost and ignis, the problem with water boost is that there are much better A slot skills like death blow and fury, and the game is all about 1RKOs whether you play competitively or not so its always better to go offense. ignis is usually overshadowed by bonfire since its a 4 turn cooldown and wont get much use outside of tempest trials, unless you have a killer weapon or weapon with the same effect. quick riposte is his best slot B option due to his low speed, and if you dont run a horse emblem team then threaten def is his best C slot option. draw back and reposition both have their place, but overall id choose reposition.

besides the build you suggested, you could also go for a brave lance build with brave lance+, death blow/fury, lancebreaker, and moonbow special. it should win you more matchups but will also cost a lot more.

my main problem with berkut in feh is the fact that he still costs 20k feathers to upgrade, regardless of how low his stats are. so theres really no point in using berkut if you have a unit like camus waiting to be upgraded. that said, i’ll never put someone down for wanting to use their favorite characters, or just playing the game the way they want to play it.

ANYWAY FUN TIME HEADCANONS BELOW THE CUT BC I CAN’T THINK OF FIC.

Sabo as the Coulson equivalent (SHIELD spy) and Ace as Widow and Marco is Hawkeye

Marco grew up in the Whitebeard circus and they were super close and really good and supported each other and were a b i t out there, just like performing people are wont to be, but they also….lived a good hundred years ago.

And Marco….just kept living. As his family started dying around him, as the years passed and he just stayed-

Marco can get hurt and has the scars to prove it, but he….he can’t die by anything like old age or sickness, and so he just keeps living. Keeps living as the circus starts to wither into obscurity, keeps living as the last traces of his family vanish like pieces of sand, keeps living and gaining skills and getting stronger and smarter but he can’t ever forget the feeling of watching his family die.  

He was a freelance head hunter/bounty hunter before SHIELD picked him up, and was bored and didn’t know what else to do, so just sighed and agreed to join them. They have a better pay rate, at least, and the healthcare is a nice bonus 

Sabo and Ace used to know each other as kids!! 

But Sabo forgot ;n; Sabo vanished and then Ace was found sneaking out of the facility that was training him and kept under better security. But one of Ace’s missions takes him to Luffy and he doesn’t look back. Grabs the kid he used to call brother and runs. 

And Sabo was the one who brought in Marco and got sent to tail Ace and see if they could convince him to join, because they were close in age, and Ace had killed almost everyone else who’d come after him and Luffy, but then this was Sabo, and he-

He hesitates (he’s never hesitated, before, in his line of work you can’t but this was-)

Ace being so cautious and quiet at first bc they bought in him and Luffy and Ace was constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop, for them to threaten Luffy to make Ace do something, but that just-

it doesn’t happen. 

It ends up making him Really Jumpy and Fidgety all the time until Marco starts Super Casually refusing orders and giving Ace outs and the ability to choose without any sort of punishments threatening him and letting Ace adjust to SHIELD at his own rate. 

Sabo has retrograde amnesia, and everything close to the explosion the red room (Ace’s institute) organised to kill him is basically gone, but he does have a few scattered memories of Luffy and some bits of Ace that are super blurred. They come back a bit, but that’s mainly because Luffy + Ace fill in the parts he’s missing

Sabo talks Ace through a lot of missions and Marco gets jealous (and denies it ofc, he doesn’t get jealous he’s an adult)

And he ends up casually bringing it up in conversation with Sabo and Sabo gets really startled because he didn’t think anyone had noticed, and then goes really quiet

“Ace- never had anyone on the comms. When he did- missions, before- no-one was there, helping him. I dunno, I guess I just- I just want him to know I’m there. That I won’t leave him to do it alone.”

And everyone thinks sabo will do a bad job because he’s so young, right? But he’s so tactical, he fights so hard to learn because he won’t ever let anyone else die under his command, he won’t let them get hurt, he’s lost people before because he was overconfident and arrogant and rude and he just wants to prove himself!!!

ALSO LOOK I KNOW IT’S A WEIRD SHIP BUT COBY IS CAPTAIN AMERICA AND I WAS THINKING ABOUT SABO AS COULSON WITH HIS Big Gay Crush AND IT’S KIND OF SUPER FUCKING ADORABLE WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT BECAUSE COBY IS JUST SO NOBLE AND HEROIC AND KIND AND SABO’S IN THE BACKGROUND LIKE DYING AND ALSO LIKE “ACE, MARCO, IF YOU TRY AND SET ME UP WITH HIM ONE MORE TIME I AM GOING TO KILL YOU BOTH. Ace Totally huffs about it and fidgets a lot and is baaaaaaaasically a little envious of all the attention Sabo gives Coby by accident, but they eventually get over that when they’re dealing w/ Ace’s issues w/ self-confidence and it basically turns into the biggest running joke, and !!! Ace befriends Coby because COBY IS SO USELESS AROUND LUFFY!!!! AND ACE THINKS IT’S HILARIOUS!!! BECAUSE LUFFY IS OBLIVIOUS AS FUCK!!! 

MARCO GETS CONTROLLED BY LOKI

and his one rule, his one stipend to working with SHIELD is that he will never ever shoot someone with his bow and he requests missions where killing is avoided at all costs or if unavoidable than only against those of the worst calibre/situations of extreme danger, and Loki makes him break that

Robin (Director Fury) questions Marco’s loyalty for a moment when Marco turns on them and Sabo grabs the table so hard that it almost breaks in his hands and Ace doesn’t even say a word, just leaves. Koala has to quietly explain to her about Marco’s code, and how he’d never do this unless influenced by something else. 

Ace who loves the fact that Marco chose that. Marco chose to never kill, and SHIELD respects that, and Ace knows he doesn’t ever have to be forced to kill - to hurt - ever again. 

Ace talking to Loki to try and find out his plan / where Marco is and Loki only smiles and promises that Ace will find out where Marco is when Marco shoots him through the throat-

And Ace can’t help the fraction of a second where fear almost overwhelms him, because that-

That’s one of his greatest fears. 

That Marco is going to realise how awful Ace is, and  get rid of him. Clear out the mistake he made. 

Ace hiding the fear he feels because he’s been trained and he knows how to do this, he has to figure out what Loki’s plan (he has to save Marco. He has to prove that he was worth it)

ACE LOVING MARCO SO MUCH BUT REFUSING TO SAY IT????? NOT EVEN REALLY REALISING WHAT HE FEELS IS LOVE BUT KNOWING HE’D LAY DOWN EVERYTHING FOR MARCO, IF MARCO NEEDED IT. IF MARCO ASKED IT OF HIM.

When they’re fighting, when Marco’s still under Loki’s control, Marco just whispers so carefully, so pleadingly, for Ace to stop and he almost does because this is Marco-

And then the to-vibrant blue of Marco’s usually dark eyes gives him away and Ace knocks him out and has to swallow the nausea that caused him

(And least Marco will be okay, he thinks, but can’t drive away the thought of Marco’s pleading expression, Marco begging him to stop)

Ace refusing to say that he loves either Sabo or Marco because he’s just- 

He doesn’t think he is in love with them, Love is bright and vibrant and fluttery, messy, nervous feelings, he just feels-

And it helps Marco as well because he’s suffering some serious trauma from being forced to fucking kill people when he didn’t want to, from being forced to kill innocent men and women who were trying to protect others, from having to fight and manipulate Ace……

whispers marco and ace not. doing anything abt ace’s confession, tho. it’s there, and they both know it, but Marco wants to get better first, and Ace wants time to mourn the fact that for the second time in his life he’s lost his best friend.

And theyre toooootally not dating

even though they move all of marco’s stuff into ace’s room. and have date nights. and marco presses kisses to ace’s forehead whenever ace leans on him (which is often). and ace curls up into marco’s side when they’re sitting on the couch. and they defs don’t hold hands, or press quick kisses to each other’s cheeks just before one of them has to leave on a mission without the other

But there’s a moment of surprise and regret on the stranger’s face, and Ace knows it’s him.

SHIELD fixed Sabo with some of Captain America/Coby’s blood and he’s alive but he’s different now. He’s stronger and faster and he just-

notices things. 

Notices how Marco’s fingertips linger on Ace’s hand but Ace doesn’t act like anything is out of the ordinary. Notices how Marco looks like he’s about to kiss Ace before a mission but aborts it at the last second and hides his promise to return in the crook of Ace’s neck. 

Sabo who goes on solo missions because no-one thinks he’s alive and he’s highly-trained and now he’s got super soldier serum in his veins…But he’s there the moment they need him but he’s unable to look at marco and ace 

Looking at how close they are and just realising what he’s missed. Quietly letting them he supported them and cared about them and was sorry in as many ways as he could - through cards, through care, through always having their backs, through trying constantly to protect them, because he could now, in real life instead of just directing them while he sat behind a computer screen.

Ace gets confused by language metaphors sometimes!!! But he won’t say it because he hates being seen as weak, or that anything needs to be explained to him. He has to be perfect and in control and mysterious all the time, no-one can know that puns confuse him. 

(Sabo+Marco totally figure it out and always casually explain the joke/idiom so that Ace isn’t left out of the loop, and even when he figures out they’re doing it he can’t ask them to stop.)

My grandmother passed a few months ago, (i was not close to her, long story) I just found out from my aunt that my grandmother had a life insurance policy on me and my sister. Im currently insured with Geico. I got my plan back last year when i had a beater car (2001 nissan maxima). Auto Insurance Question on a Hit and Run?

My boyfriend is not listed on my insurance because he has a company vehicle that his boss lets him drive. Anyway today he decided to take my car to go pick up our daughter from school. As he was backing up he backed up a little too quick and hit one of the teachers car. He said he looked out the window and saw there wasn't any damage and took off right away. All it did to our car was literally chip the paint but I wasn't sure what he did to the other car. Anyway I was out shopping later this evening and got a phone call from my partner stating that the cops were at our house and wanted to see my insurance slips and ownership. So I went home and gave them all the information. They ended up letting my husband go on fleeing the scene of a accident but gave him a $110 fine for failing to report the incident. Now here's what I am wondering, I have to call my insurance company tomorrow and notify them that he was driving my car and let them know all the information but I'm unsure what will happen? I can almost guarantee that my insurance will go up but is there any regulations about hitting a parked car within a private parking lot? I know that if she decides to go through the insurance company (which I'm sure she is because she gave all her information to the cop) then I was told I am able to request that she gets 3 quotes from 3 different places so that she doesn't try to stiff me and go for the most expensive. The cop also told me that I have the option to call her and maybe see if she will take cash but I know this teacher and she is one of the worst teachers I have ever met so I highly doubt she will be so accepting of the money. The cop also told us that he went to go view the damage on her vehicle and he said the front number was cracked so it would need to be replaced. A couple of weeks ago a lady ran a red light and hit my car. Her insurance company took a week to get me a rental and two weeks later finally go look at my car and determined a total loss. The adjustor was pretty rude about the whole situation (yes I know that's their job) and started in on how my car has extensive hail damage which is not true. There were some dents from hail on the hood and trunk lid but every used car in Oklahoma has hail damage since we have had several storms over the past few years. He said that they would have paid $5900 for the car but because of the hail damage they will only pay $1250 which is ridiculous. I've done my research and the average cost of my car within 200 miles is $6000 and I have received one estimate on repairing all of the damage was $2000 yet he claims it will cost $7000. The dealership I bought the car from just sold a vehicle just like mine with hail damage for $5000. The engine and everything else on the car was perfect. I have been with AAA my whole life because my father advocates highly for them so I have trusted his judgment and experience. But I think they may be ripping me off. So I went onto some comparison web sites and put my mum as main driver and me as the named driver and I was getting quotes of around 1900 (Fully comp). I was in a minor parking lot fender bender, more like fender TAPPING if you ask me, neither car has more of a scratch, I am pretty sure that she is more at fault in this situation because when we tapped i was all the way out my my parking space and she was only out about half way, hence why our bumpers tapped on both of our rear passenger corners. she has a witness claiming they saw the whole thing and that I hit her, but regardless of if my car tapped hers or her car tapped mine, I was all the way out of my space and she was the one who wasn't looking enough to not hit me. i need to stop getting distracted and procrastinating and “treating myself” bc i’ve been doing that way too often

i really want to just chat with someone rn. idk why im so hyper so late at night. i think staying up late is one of the things i define myself by. i almost dont want to sleep before midnight bc that ruins my character. no, not almost. i dont. straight up.

im just gonna try and write a quick thing here before getting back to homework. i think another thing is i know that i dont have a lot of homework to do do im avoiding my homework so that i have an excuse to stay up later. shoot. this is a deeper psychological problem. even when given the opportunity to sleep early, i dont take it. i think i just really need to ask myself if it’s worth it. to be losing sleep. to not be so in control. to have poor memory. and i know im writing these things in an effort to convince myself that i should make more of an effort to sleep earlier but i also know that im too stubborn for that and will probably just continue to sleep late but this doesnt define me! i do want to sleep earlier. there are so many other things that define who i am and theyre actually healthy. im just making life so much harder for myself by purposely staying up so late all the time.

i also want to make more of an effort to be more aware of other people’s feelings. i think i do speak without thinking sometimes and i dont realize how it’s affecting those around me. today, i remember i mentioned how i was so relieved to have gotten 100% on my graphic design project while my friend got a 64% and i didnt know how to respond. i do think i was bragging a bit but i really was proud of myself. i just set a really high bar for myself and feel bad when i dont reach it. but thinking in his shoes, i have struggled in the past. and being in an environment with pro graphic designer and me, a novice, it did feel like my best was never good enough a lot of the time. and i dont want anyone else to feel like that bc it really does suck. theres no way around that. John kept complaining again today and I could hear that he was a bit proud of his friendship with me and i just didnt have the heart to tell him that i didnt want to take graphic design classes with him next semester bc he’s been a burden to me lately. i dont want to keep taking care of you bc youre holding me back from doing more. i am your friend and will continue to be but im tired of babysitting you and spoonfeeding you all the time. i wish you the best of luck in your endeavors but please, dont sign up for the same classes as me. i know he isnt going to actually sign up until way later and im just gonna hope that his schedule wont work out with mine. and if not, it’s just 2 classes that im in with him. how bad could that be? right? i hope? i dont know if i should say something or not bc i dont want to be a bitch about it and i know hes going to talk hella smack about me and be mad at me but honestly, im not going to back down from this decision. bc it’s how i feel. and if it’s gonna cost me our friendship, then maybe it wasnt meant to be in the first place. im a blunt person and i will do and take what i want. and i dont think this is just a case of me being overly selfish. he literally made someone else do the classwork for him today bc he was “bad” at it. he didnt even try. he just complained the whole time. and i tried to call him out on it  but he also gets so defensive about it and comes up with a plethora of excuses. you cant live your whole life blaming the world for who you are.

finally, i was a bit touched today bc my dad messaged me, asking if i could come home for thanksgiving. he seems to really miss me, hehehe. he was even so willing as to sell his old macbook pro to help fund my homecoming and i felt so bad bc i really dont think im deserving of that much love and sacrifice. i eventually convinced him that itd be better for everyone i just came home for winter and not at all during thanksgiving. but i also just felt really shitty bc i didnt feel as bad as i wanted to feel. i was def taking it for granted and i dont want to do that. ive been getting more and more spoiled recently bc ive been getting what i want, when i want without having to think of the consequences. i think it’s bc i have the luxury of being able to freely choose what i want to sacrifice. i would rather starve than to get a bad grade. i would rather go days without clean hair so that i can eat. my priorities are all out of place. and i know that but i also dont know how to fix it. 

i also miss my free talks with andrew. i think im a lot more nervous now. i was blunt with him earlier and he actually responded positively to it, phew. but, yeah, idk. i think it’s in part to just time and us growing apart and hanging out in person and now being so many miles apart from each other. but it’s definitely different from before and idk if that’s a good or bad thing. i get that we’re both busy people but i dont think i consider him my “best friend” anymore which is a bit disheartening. we just grew apart. and thats that. and i am genuinely happy that hes doing better mentally and emotionally and im more than happy to be here for him. i think we’re just trying to figure our own shit out as we continue to grow but i also feel like theres this block or barrier that wasnt there before. and now im a bit afraid to say or do certain things around him. and i do want to feel free with him but i dont. not anymore at least. and it sucks. but i also dont think it’s his fault at all and i definitely dont blame him for that. it’s just.. what it is, i guess.
