Yesterday evening was so beautiful.

The main lawn on the Little Island was finally open and I found a spot where I could actually see all the way down the ramp to where my bike was parked. The air was warm and there was a nice breeze, so I just sat reading for a while and drinking the matcha-blueberry latte in my travel mug.

it's sad how many reviews and stuff around tmbg seem to centre linnell as the sole dark and creepy writer of the band, never really crediting flansburgh too. do "hide away folk family," "dirt bike," "rabid child," "black ops," "cloisonné" mean nothing to them, smh.

#tmbg #this rigid dichotomy they tend to get forced into even tho linnell has written some happier songs and flansburgh plenty horrific ones #I'll be honest tho. I fully went into tmbw-interp-tab conspiracy when I first heard ''sleeping in the flowers'' lmao #I thought that song was about somebody getting murdered #the title seemed like a euphemism to me #it's actually. according to flansburgh. just about getting high in central park #and it's inspired by itchycoo park by the small faces which I knew and loved before and it's GREAT go listen to that. it's '60s psychedelia #so the lyrics are prob fantasising about spending time with the crush and essentially playfully talking sweet nothings together #bc they're stoned and in love #but honestly I thought ''you proclaim that you're an island. I proclaim that I'm one too''#''I declare that I am england. you declare that I have drowned''#sounded to me like someone trying to get away and be alone but the other person not getting the hint #esp bc the narrator introduces themself as not wanting to be ''known as the creep''#the part about getting a ride home with a drunk guy ''who showed me how to spin my head round and round''#sounded like the driver helping them get their story straight/take their mind off it #and the narrator feels they came across as ungrateful about their advice in their shocked state #plus the way the instrumental between the verses and chorus changes from fuzzy and gritty to lighthearted brass #like it's catching you off-guard #but it's not about any of that it's about being high #anyway none of that is an example of a genuinely creepy flansburgh song but

#danganronpa #danganronpa v3 #i have my own version of how a ''v3 is a simulation'' scenario would go #mainly in that the v3 cast themselves ARE the supposed ''Team Danganronpa''#they fell into despair and created the virtual reality simulation in order to kill each other over and over again #and to broadcast it #yknow. to promote despair or whatever #the other side of this theory is that eventually the Future Foundation or whomstever found out about it #and started trying to rewrite them back to their old selves the way they did with the Jabberwock Island crew #so their in-game personalities are actually the closest to their real selves #aka they kept looping over and over and over again until they were deemed closest to their old selves and safe to take out #but Tsumugi as the AI programmed to run everything + reset things after everyone dies/theres a victor of the killing game #tries to trick them into falling back into their Despair State and keeping it going #cause like. that's her purpose. to keep the killing game going. she resets the loops so they can kill each other all over again #the Future Foundation managed to contact the previous loop's Rantaro and that's what the whole survivor's perk thing was about #and also why Tsumugi made SURE he died first #so on and so forth #Tsumugi is keeping their minds trapped in there

until capcom proves me otherwise, this is my interpretation of leon throughout the entire film

#dont get me wrong okay i loved the movie #and i could watch these guys get up to hijinx and shenanigans for another 10 films #BUT it being marketed as a sequel to vendetta really had me believing they would follow up on Leon's state of mind in that film #and what is clearly a massive struggle with alcoholism and depression #especially considering he seemed to be fine in this film from what we saw in trailers #so at least some sort of reference or indication as to how he seemed to be doing so much better all of a sudden #but there was none of that #other than Dylan's offhand comment in his speech about Leon being 'all burnt out' from the endless missions he's being dragged into #so i am now choosing to believe he is simply not okay #and that maybe he's managed to get a handle on the drinking but this man is still deep in the throes of major passive depression #and that's that on that !#@ me about it capcom u cowards #resident evil #resident evil death island #re death island #re #death island spoilers #leon kennedy

Been doing roleplay stuff that involves Pokemon being incorporated into the real world

and as the resident "mod of the server that hosts the roleplay who is most hyperfixated on Pokemon and is also the one in the northern east of America" I present to you a map I made of the gyms you can find in the north east, which is where the roleplay mainly takes place

Probably won't do the rest of the states cause its not involved in the roleplay nor do I have energy to do so, but every region of the US in the roleplay has its own league cause get it, regions, Pokémon, haha

Gyms aren't even hardcore involved in the roleplay but of course I need to build up the worldbuilding of everything I touch i legally have to

The summer solstice – the beginning of astronomical summer – falls on June 20, 2025 (June 21 UTC). It’s the longest day of the year and marks the change of seasons. For our friends in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s the shortest day of the year and the beginning of winter.

Earth orbits at an angle, so half the year, the Northern Hemisphere is tilted toward the Sun — this is summer in the Northern Hemisphere, and winter in the Southern Hemisphere. The other half of the year, the Northern Hemisphere is tilted away from the Sun, creating winter in the north and summer in the south. Solstices happen twice per year, at the points in Earth’s orbit where this tilt is most pronounced.
