Once a Doorhinged got bored as hell, next thing he knew he dropped a bombshell.
Once when I was bored I just rewrote all of rhe north western’s canon, using sodor as just a base railway, so here it is, they all have more lore and this isn’t even the finished product yet.

Lloyd the Crompton Diesel (My TTTE AU)
Tumblr media
He is a good friend of Thomas, Percy, Toby, Daisy, Glynn and Mavis on the Ffarquar Branch Line (Meaning he is the only male diesel of this line) he is optimistic and clever at pulling passengers (But usually enjoys teasing Gordon the way Thomas does) but also loves hanging around with his other diesel mates on Sodor with Wendell and BoCo and he is also the NWR D10 diesel.

Sorry for taking so long with Gordon’s post. Writers block is a wonderful thing, is it not? Anyway, here’s the headcanon post for Gordon.
Although Gordon is often purported to be a one off prototype, he is actually N° 1470, built in 1922 as the first of Gresley’s famed A1 class.
In October 1922, Gordon was purchased by the NWR to be their top link express engine, a job he did until his 2011 retirement.
After breaking down on his namesake hill in 1939, Gordon was sent to Doncaster Works, where he was rebuilt to A3 standard. Following the completion of his rebuild, it was planned for him to undergo break in runs. But due to the outbreak of war, the LNER quickly returned him to the NWR.
Although he has matured a great deal over the years, Gordon is still immensely proud of his Doncaster heritage, and nearly cracked a cylinder when he learned Flying Scotsman was rebuilt into the A1/1. To this day, it’s considered unwise to mention Edward Thompson in Gordon’s presence.

Henry sat dazed and confused.
"Ohhhhh" he groaned.
A soft spot of track had given way under Henry's weight while he was traveling down the newly refurbished eastern branch line. The track was too light to re-rail Henry, so he had to be put in a barge and taken to actually firm ground.
"How are you feeling, Henry?" Said the Fat Controller, concern in his voice. "They're all going to laugh at me" the Gresley-Stanier replied. "No they will not." The fat Controller said, with comfort and authority in his voice.
"And if they do, they will be talking straight to me" he finished. That got a small smile out of Henry, if only for a brief moment.
Silently lurking behind them, a small rowboat with the Thomas The Tank Engine and Friends marketing team inside of it slowly rolled away.

Do you think anyone on the island of Sodor ever committed suicide by throwing themselves in front of a train? What effect do you think that would have on Thomas's psyche???

Saturday Movie Night: The Thomas The Tank Engine Man (1995)
youtube
Something a little different for this week's movie night. Today is June 15th, which means it would have been the 113th birthday of the Reverend Wilbert Awdry. I'm sure I don't need to explain to most of my followers who he was, but for the remaining minority, tonight's video should fill you in.
The Thomas The Tank Engine Man was an episode of the BBC's Bookmark documentary series, which aired in February 1995. This was the story of the life and work of Wilbert Awdry, and that of his most famous creation, Thomas the Tank Engine. We learn, through interviews with Wilbert and others, how Thomas came to be, and how the little blue engine was still able to endear himself to children well into the 1990s.
Many happy returns, Wilbert - this is all your damn fault!
