was inspired by the concept art for Echo Island, Luzhan Liu’s in-the-works graphic novel. It’s awesome if you like dystopian bizarre eldritch-creatures-in-otherwise-normal-human-settlements type of art. My eyes got wonderfully goopy just looking at them, please check them out if you wanna.

no storyline yet - but Cass, and her siblings in all but blood, live on Wandering Island, that’s in the middle of nowhere and populated with creatures that range from docile to predatory.

Plus they have cool helmets. And a lot of fish. And Stephanie:

Steph finds it much easier to kill particularly threatening creatures more than Cass. This is not because of a difference in prowess.

Ideas for Jason and Tim, because I don’t really know what to do with them yet:

Jason gets his half his face burned/bitten off really badly when he gets older. Since there are an overwhelming amount of mannequins scattered in the abandoned buildings around the island, Tim helps to graft half a plastic face onto him.

Cass and different fits:

This was more a spur of the moment kind of thing, but I keep rotating it in my head and it’s getting unproductive. Doing my best to properly express them into words and pictures.

1998's Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island and 2019's Scooby-Doo Return to Zombie Island will be released on Blu-ray together as a Hanna-Barbera double feature on May 7 via Warner Archive.

Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island is directed by Jim Stenstrum (Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost) and written by Glenn Leopold (The Prowler). Frank Welker, Billy West, Mary Kay Bergman, B.J. Ward, Scott Innes, Adrienne Barbeau, Jim Cummings, and Mark Hamill star.

Scooby-Doo Return to Zombie Island is directed by Cecilia Aranovich (Harley Quinn) and Ethan Spaulding (Avatar: The Last Airbender) and written by Jeremy Adams (Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge). Frank Welker, Grey Griffin, Matthew Lillard, and Kate Micucci star, with an appearance by Cassandra Peterson as Elvira.

Both films are housed on one disc. No special features are included.

In Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island, Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, and Fred reunite and head to a haunted bayou island to investigate the ghost of Moonscar the Pirate. Been thinkin about Batman & Pokemon crossovers, so have a list-ish of what I think they'd have. Might do Gotham's rogues too later. First ones listed would probably be their starter of sorts, but honestly that can be up for debate too.

It's quite a rowdy affair! (Don't ask me why a random police officer is gate crashing a kid's birthday party - I don't know.)

I'm not sure that Auntie Cassandra is being a good influence on her young nieces.

The next morning, with all the kids off to school, it's time for Frances and Green Bean to finally get away for a few days. They postponed their honeymoon until nappy changing and potty training were a thing of the past, to make life easier for the grandparents who have been left in charge of their brood!

They've left behind the wintry shores of Lake Merymere for the sunny climes of Twikkii Island, on a last-minute deal. Frances didn't even have time to change out of her work uniform before they set off!

While she checks in at their budget hotel...

...Green Bean talks politics with the local residents.

Frances is given a warm greeting by the locals herself...

...and does her best to respond in kind.

Alone at last.

This is the life - with their own private suite to chill out in together. Green Bean relates to Frances the fascinating conversation he had with the residents of the aquarium downstairs.

Shopping for holiday outfits is a must.

After three kids in quick succession, Frances isn't sure that she can pull off wearing such a skimpy dress, but Green Bean disagrees - he thinks his beautiful wife would look terrific in anything!

He's also chosen a cheery new shirt for himself.

Then it's time to hit the karaoke machine (although I think they both actually have something else on their minds...)

Fun-loving Frances is in her element. Never one to be self-conscious, Green Bean throws himself into the experience too!

Their performance gets a positive reception from the hotel bartender.

Time for bed - there's so much exploring to do tomorrow!
