Sizzy Headcanons: Married with Children

A/N: I saw someone be disappointed about the lack of Sizzy content and as its the best TMI ship (as I explained in my Unpopular opinion ship post), I cannot help but agree so I am hereby writing some headcanons for them!

-Are the go-to couple to babysit Max and Rafe when Maryse is not available as Magnus trusts Simon more then Jace with the kids. -Their wedding was more grande then Alec and Magnus' because they had a far longer time to plan. -Catlovers for life. They grew up with their cats (I'm counting Church okay?) and so will their own children. -I think they will have about 3 children like the average Lightwood. -Simon bought his own fancy place not too far away from the Institute and handles most of the paper stuff regarding their home. Having grown up as a mundane, he doesn't needs to be as secretive as the average Shadowhunter and basically continued using his mundane ID and driver's license. -They keep things as much of a secret around Simon's mother, but Becky knows most of the stuff that's going on around the place. She's a dotting aunt towards their children and visits them often. -Because of that, Isabelle decided Becky might as well become a permanent member of the Shadow World and actually hooked Becky up with a werewolf. -Jace loves telling embarrassing stories about Simon to the children, like the time he got drunk on spiked blood. Simon as revenge, started telling his own children cringe stuff about Jace and rubs it in Jace's face every time he beats him at video games when the kids are present. -Isabelle is a wonderful mother to her children and definitely a protective momma bear. -Simon, as a recruiter for the Shadowhunter Academy In Exile, often pops by on Luke's farm once his children decide to attend. A lot of the students look up to him and some can be a little jealous of the Lightwood Lovelace children. -Isabelle and Simon are very supportive parents who are there for their kids throughout every stupid mistake they make. Simon knows exactly when to crack a dumb joke that will cheer up the children and Isabelle falls in love with him even more every time he does it. -Their kids know as much about geek culture as a mundane nerd would. These kids grew up watching Star Wars and hearing Simon roast whatever Disney puts out relating to the IP. -Speaking of that, any joint event with the Herondale-Fairchild kids likely involves watching some adventure shonen anime like Attack On Titan together. -At least one of Simon and Izzy's kids have embarrassed themselves when they were young by doing the Naruto run. -They celebrate their wedding anniversaries by going on a cute picnic. It reminds them of their first succesful date when Simon went to the Shadowhunter Academy. Simon never lets Izzy prepare the food though, he does it himself. -Being married to Isabelle, Simon actually learnt how to cook because her cooking skills are a biohazard. -Whilst he'd never let Isabelle alone in the kitchen, he actually doesn't minds her helping him out with cooking. At least once, they ended up having a food fight.

thinking of my tmi gang. i think they are having a friday night in at magnus and alec's apartment. and they're playing cards where jace kept winning until magnus decided to stop fooling around and beat him 4 times in a row after which jace messed up all the cards and started sulking in a corner. simon is just messing around and isabelle keeps yelling at him for making stupid misjudgements. alec is busy with max and occasionally cheering magnus on and dealing with jace's monologues of betrayal. then rafael played one game and won and that was the end of the cards sesh.

Izzy: He once burned down the greenhouse.

Simon: Helped Kit steal the silver weapons to sell it on the shadow market in exchange for Xbox video games.

Clary: He broke all my cell phones trying to figure out how they worked.

Alec: He sold his brother's milk horns in the shadow market. It took us 3 years and 10 thousand dollars to recover them.

Jace: He disorganized the library's over 5,000 books into unbreakable code just to annoy me. By him self. IN ONE NIGHT.

Ragnor: He stole my spell books and, I have no idea how, translated them and posted them on every social media site known to the shadow world.

Magnus: My clever little baby, at least you have to give him credit for being persistent.

More Monster High Crossovers

I already mentioned there's a resemblance between Momoi Satsuki and Draculaura if you tie her hair a certain way. But something else I have to mention is that Abbey Bombinable is giving me some serioues Isabelle Lightwood vibes. The large mane of hair alongside being the sexiest and tallest of the girls? I made a black glittered maxi skirt that both Draculaura and Abbey can wear and when I put it on Abbey I was like, 'this just screams Izzy'. (I am totally remembering all over again how hot I find Isabelle).

Do we always forget how young these kids were back in tmi?

Sometimes when reading (at least what I tend to do) I ignore completely the fact that they’re children. When I was younger, probably the age of the characters in the book, I ignored it but always had the image that they were older, taller, like adults.

Growing up and having more than 20 years old, now I look back at them and realize they were underage human beings that were neglected by their government and parents. Mostly abandoned bc they had to grow up ‘fast’ bc that’s what shadowhunters do.

Let’s not forget that Jace was 16 :)

it's always funny to me that Jace and Clary both independently woke up the day Alec was planning to surprise Magnus with a wedding and decide they too were going to propose. and this is after their first failed proposal took place right in the middle of Simon and Izzy's engagement party. why are they like this.

it's not even solely a Clace thing because Simon and Izzy are also not getting married until the Clave is unexiled which??? why are you making the historic event of putting your government back together about you??? less anniversaries??? at this rate Alec's going to show up to officiate the Clace/Sizzy double wedding with a random new orphan in tow 😭

Rereading TFTSA and seeing Simon being SOOO jealous is actually make me piss my pants. Izzy winked at a guy and Simon decided his life was OVER 😭
