I knoww a lot of people found this sweet but it was just another one of those “niche couples’ thing” trope and the whole thing just really didn’t do anything for me

AGAIN i know this was definitely a fragile time for paedyn but the self-proclaimed “i am darkness” thing was just so unnecessarily overdone throughout this entire book. It 100% could’ve been written a little better

This was THE moment that made me stop the book and not finish it for a few weeks. The whole ocean eyes ordeal was driving me crazy

The typos really say a lot about how annoyed i was with their inner monologues

For a final thought, I did think that much of the writing was supposed to be poetic and serve that doomed lovers trope realness, but it’s just that it was laying it on sooo thick and it honestly felt quite forced given some of the context of the scenes
