school was a while ride
A couple years ago, my school did a pride event where you could donate and get like a bracelet or a stickers or mini pride flags. It was a really good idea, and we raised around 100 dollars, donating it to a local pride foundation. a couple kids, who were a like a year or two younger than me, bought trans flags and were waving them around. That was really nice cause the period after, we had slurs yelled at us. Most kids were okay, but there were a couple who were just hateful.

ask for it | theodore nott x fem!reader
summary: asking for what you want doesn’t come easy for you but theodore is more than happy to help out.
warnings/content: language, smut, oral, kinda shy!reader but it’s up to interpretation, praise/degrading
a/n: based on an audio lolzies, i’m just in love with this man
Tumblr media
dating theodore nott was a dream. you were mesmerized by the boy since you first saw him and ever since you became his girlfriend you almost had to pinch yourself every day to make sure you weren't dreaming.
theodore was on of the most intimidating slytherin boys but you knew who he really was. he was funny and passionate about his friendships. he was incredibly smart and always the nicest to you. he helped you so much with growing as a person. your relationship was almost perfect but there was something you still struggled with.
speaking your mind isn't always easy, especially when your boyfriend makes you flustered every time you look at him. you've talked to theodore about this and he completely understood you. he wanted to help. he noticed how you shy away from asking for what you want in any situation, but especially when things got heated between you two. he figured he'd start there.
"do you like that, y/n?" he whispered in your ear. theodore was currently kissing your neck as you straddled him. your eyes were closed, your head leaned back, and the noises you made from his hands roaming your body was proof enough that you were enjoying yourself, but he wanted to hear it. you nodded at his question and he removed his hands from under your shirt and looked at you.
"open your eyes. look at me." you did as he said, the sudden commands startling you. "i asked you a question. tell me with your words this time." he went back to kissing your neck and stuck his hands under your shirt resting them on your hips and rubbing his thumbs on your skin.
"do you like that, y/n? does it feel good?" he asked again.
"yes theo. yes it feels so good." you replied. the boy smiled. he could tell your body wanted more but all you did was grind softly on his lap.
"tell me what you want, pretty girl. i won't do anything else until you say it." his words caused you to let out a small moan. your mind raced as you tried to muster up the courage to say something. did you even know what you wanted? theodore saw the look on your face, as if your thoughts were written all over it. he figured he'd help you out.
"do you want me to take your top off?" he asked, snapping you out of your mini freak out and making you look at him. you slowly nodded your head. "say it then." he smiled. "say, 'i want you to take my top off.'"
"i want you to take my top off." you repeated.
"if you insist." he replied making you smile. he lifted up your shirt and helped pull it off of you. he left kisses down your neck and on your chest. he reached behind you to take your bra off. you felt him grow harder underneath you but he didn't make any other movements.
"theo. i um." you practically whispered finding it hard again to speak up.
"want me to touch you more, pretty girl?" you nodded. "tell me. say, 'please don't stop'."
"please don't stop. touch me more." you said.
"good girl." he kissed you and played with your tits. he squeezed them and slightly pinched your nipples. he broke the kiss to focus his attention and them. he attached his mouth to your right one making you moan more. you had your hand in his hair gripping from the pleasure. you were practically dripping at this point and as if he knew (which he pretty much did), he put his hand in your pants past the waistband of your underwear to feel you.
“you’re so wet for me. what a good little slut.” he looked up at you.
“theo, i need you so bad.” you said. he removed his hand and sat up. he pulled your bottoms of including your underwear and laid you back. he then hovered over you.
“what do you want me to?”
“your mouth. please.”
“come on you can do better than that. tell me ‘i want you to eat my pussy until i cum’.” the boy was driving you crazy. he was looking you straight in the eyes and waited to make any other movements until you replied. the ache between your legs grew more and more each second. you let out a whimper before obeying, “i want you to eat my pussy.” you paused. he lifted his hand to grab your chin.
“until i make you cum.” he repeated.
“until you make me cum.” you said. he kissed your cheek and made his way down.
“your wish is my command.” he finally licked your clit making you moan once again. he attached his mouth to you, practically making out with your pussy. he held your hand with one hand and with the other he used his fingers to tease your entrance. he stuck in a finger and pumped it slowly.
“theo, that feels so good..” you moaned out. he was encouraged to go faster. he added another finger and swirled his tongue on your clit making you arch your back up, squeezing his hand. you felt so good but you needed more. you knew you had to speak up to get what you wanted.
“theo, theo wait.” you pulled his head up by his hair to make him look at you.
“what is it, cara mia?” he was slightly worried.
“i want your cock right now. i want you to fuck me.” you told him. he smiled at your words.
“that’s my girl.”

✩₊˚.⋆ LOST & FOUND - dabi/touya todoroki
Tumblr media Tumblr media
CW: y/n is lowkey on her death bed but has plot armor, dabi being his usual "uncaring" self, she/her pronouns, not anatomy specified, tinyyy bit of angst, "fluff", and yeah! lolzies
Word Count: 4.7k
Author's Note: hey guys! this was written a little bit before kinktober started but i decided to finish it up and post it now lol.
Tumblr media
y/n's world had changed the moment she was captured. once a member of the league of villains, she now found herself imprisoned by the corrupted heroes who tortured her daily, trying to extract information on her allies. she endured three long, agonizing months of pain and suffering, but she refused to speak a word.
dabi had been relentless in his pursuit, growing more furious by the day. the league had tried multiple times to infiltrate the heroes' hideout, but each attempt had been thwarted. the heroes were prepared, and they were merciless. but dabi's patience wore thin. the constant failure stirred an unfamiliar feeling in him—a festering worry he struggled to ignore. he convinced himself it was nothing more than the desire to reclaim his teammate. nothing more, he told himself.
but then one day, the league found the location of y/n’s prison. the moment they had it, dabi stormed in without a second thought. blue flames burst forth from his fingertips, devouring anything in their path as he moved through the halls of the hideout, leaving nothing but charred destruction in his wake.
finally, he found her, barely conscious and bound in a small, cold cell. her eyes fluttered weakly open when she sensed his presence.
“still alive, huh?” dabi’s voice was rough, his words cutting. “can’t believe it. you look like death warmed over.”
y/n blinked up at him, too weak to retort. but he noticed the spark in her gaze hadn’t quite faded. he knelt down beside her, his expression hard, hiding the turbulence roiling in his chest. he used one hand to break her chains, though his grip was almost harsh.
“pathetic. you let them do this to you?” his voice was sharp, but the look in his eyes was almost soft.
“they…tried…” she mumbled, her lips dry and cracked, “but i didn’t…tell them anything.”
dabi huffed. “yeah, no kidding. would’ve burned this place down even if you had.”
as he scooped her into his arms, his touch was surprisingly gentle. she shivered, the warmth from his skin a comfort she hadn’t felt in months. his words stayed rough, his tone cold, but the way he held her told a different story.
“don’t get used to this,” he muttered, eyes trained forward as they escaped the hideout. “i didn’t come here to save you. just didn’t want to deal with all the whining if i let you die.”
y/n gasped as dabi carried her, the heat of his body a stark contrast to the coldness of her own skin. she tried to focus on his face, but the world around her faded in and out, blurring into an indistinguishable haze. every jolt of movement sent a sharp pain coursing through her, a reminder of the abuse she had endured. she winced, feeling her strength waning.
“put me down,” she whispered, her voice barely audible, but he kept moving, determined.
“shut up,” he replied curtly, his grip tightening slightly, as if he feared losing her.
another wave of pain shot through her, more intense than the last. her breath caught, and suddenly, she felt herself slipping. “touya…” she managed to say, her voice trembling. “i think i’m dying here.”
without warning, he stopped, the harshness in his demeanor cracking just for a moment. he lowered her gently to the ground, his eyes scanning her body with fierce intensity. she could see the worry flickering behind his cool facade, the flames that danced in his gaze reflecting a sense of urgency.
“where?” he demanded, a harsh edge to his voice as he knelt beside her. “where does it hurt?”
“everywhere,” she admitted, but a teasing smile crossed her lips despite the pain. “call me corny, but you should’ve seen the other guys. they looked worse than me.”
dabi narrowed his eyes, irritation flashing across his face at her joking manner. “this isn’t a joke, y/n.”
“you really think I’d let a bunch of wannabe heroes take me out that easily?” she shot back, though her voice wavered slightly. “they were no match for me. clearly, they didn’t get the memo that I’m not just some damsel in distress.”
“if you’re so tough, why are you lying on the ground?” he shot back, a sneer creeping into his voice. “you look like you’ve been run over by a train.”
“ow, harsh much?” she retorted, but the teasing tone was wavering. “can’t blame a girl for trying to make light of the situation.”
“you think this is funny?” he snapped, his eyes narrowing as he leaned closer. “you look like shit, and if you keep acting like this, you’ll actually die.”
“wouldn’t dream of it,” she replied, but another wave of pain shot through her, making her grimace. “but honestly, I’m tired, and I’m starting to think this might be a bit much for me.”
“good,” he grunted, his expression hardening again. “maybe this will teach you not to underestimate your enemies next time.”
“you’re a real gem, you know that?” she said, rolling her eyes even as tears threatened to spill. “if I survive this, I’m definitely getting you a trophy for ‘worst rescue ever.’”
“you’re lucky I’m even here,” he said coldly, his gaze flicking over her injuries. “you should be thanking me instead of cracking jokes.”
“thank you, touya,” she said, her voice softening for a moment. “seriously.”
he huffed, looking away, but she could see the tension in his shoulders. “just don’t make me regret saving you, okay?”
“no promises,” she replied with a weak grin, but the teasing edge in her voice was fading. “you know I’m too stubborn for that.”
“you’re a damn fool, y/n,” he muttered, the frustration evident in his voice as he wiped away a tear that had escaped down her cheek. “you think you’re invincible, but look where that’s gotten you. this isn’t a game.”
“i know that,” she said, the teasing tone gone as she felt the gravity of her situation. “but I’m not ready to die here. I still have too many things to do.”
“you better pull yourself together then,” he snapped, his voice harsh but the underlying concern evident. “because I’m not carrying a corpse out of here.”
“no need to get dramatic, touya,” she replied, trying to muster the strength for a smile. “I’m not dead yet.”
“you’re damn lucky I don’t just leave you here,” he grumbled, but the way he looked at her was a mix of annoyance and something softer. “now, let’s get moving before they come back.”
he scooped her up again, his grip firm yet careful. together, they would face whatever awaited them outside. and even in the chaos around them, y/n couldn’t shake the feeling that, despite his harsh words, there was something deeper in his concern—something that gave her strength even as her body protested.
“don’t drop me, or I swear I’ll haunt you,” she said, her voice light despite the pain.
“like I’d ever let you go,” he replied, though his tone remained sharp. “now shut up and focus. we’re getting out of this hellhole.”
as he carried her away from the ashes of their enemies, y/n held onto the resolve within her, refusing to let despair take hold. and while dabi kept his distance, his harsh demeanor hiding the concern beneath, she knew that as long as they were together, they would fight to survive.
----
the familiar sights and sounds of the league’s hideout enveloped y/n like a comforting blanket, but that sense of safety was overshadowed by the pain that coursed through her body. dabi carried her through the entrance, his presence a steady anchor amid the chaos of their return.
“get the hell out of my way.” he spoke as they passed several members who rushed to meet them, concern etched on their faces. “she’s injured, and you all need to back off. she doesn’t need a dozen people hovering over her right now.”
“dabi!” twice called from the other side of the room, his expression darkening at the sight of y/n’s condition. “what happened?”
“later,” dabi snapped, brushing past him and heading down the hall toward his room. “just make sure they don’t crowd her. she’s had enough of that shit already.”
y/n barely registered the exchange as her head lolled against dabi’s shoulder. her strength was fading fast, and the pain was creeping back in, clawing at her insides. the world blurred again as he opened the door to his room, setting her down gently on his bed.
“stay put,” he said tersely, stepping back. “I’ll be right back. I need to talk to shigaraki.”
as the door clicked shut, y/n felt a wave of despair wash over her. the warmth of the room felt suffocating, and all the bravado she had tried to maintain crumbled. she pulled her knees to her chest, a shaky breath escaping her as she allowed the tears to spill over.
“damn it,” she whispered, her voice breaking. she buried her face against her knees, the memories of her time with the heroes crashing over her like a tidal wave. the pain, the torture, the isolation—it all hit her at once, leaving her gasping for air.
she clenched her fists, hating how vulnerable she felt. the sobs bubbled up, and she let them come, tears soaking into her knees as she tried to muffle the sounds. she cursed herself under her breath, her nails digging into her palms. “just keep it together.” she muttered repeatedly.
after a few agonizing moments, the door swung open again, and dabi stepped inside. his expression shifted from irritation to confusion at the sight of her in such a state.
“what the hell is up with you?” he demanded, his voice harsh. “you’re back home, and you’re crying? what’s wrong now?”
y/n quickly wiped her tears away, trying to compose herself as best she could. “oh, you know me,” she said, attempting to keep her tone light despite the tremor in her voice. “just enjoying a little spa day here.”
dabi’s brows furrowed, and he stepped closer, concern leaking through his aggression. “this isn’t a joke, y/n. you look like you’re about to pass out. get it together.”
“easy for you to say,” she shot back, her snark returning as she wiped her cheeks dry, though more tears slipped past her efforts. “some of us don’t have fire powers to keep us warm and cozy.”
“seriously, what’s the point of acting like this?” he asked, exasperation lacing his tone. “if you’re hurt, just say it instead of pretending you’re fine.”
“i’m fine,” she insisted, though the quiver in her voice betrayed her. “just a little sore, that’s all.”
“y/n, you’re not fooling anyone,” he growled, frustration bubbling under the surface. “if you’re feeling like this, you need to tell me. it’s not going to help if you just sit here and cry like a baby.”
“what do you want me to say?” she snapped, tears streaming down her cheeks again despite her efforts. “that they broke me? that they got under my skin? well, they did! and it hurt like hell! but you don’t get it, do you?”
dabi flinched at her words, but he quickly masked it with a scowl. “no, I don’t get it, because I don’t go around feeling sorry for myself. I’m not going to let you wallow in your own misery. we’ve got enough problems without you adding to them.”
“thanks for the pep talk, touya,” she shot back, a bitter smile crossing her face even as she choked on her emotions. “you really know how to lift a girl’s spirits.”
“you want to be tough, fine. but don’t think I won’t notice when you’re falling apart,” he replied, his tone sharp but lacking malice. “if you’re in pain, just admit it. we’ll figure it out together.”
“don’t count on me getting soft just because I’m hurt,” she said defiantly, though she could feel the tears still falling, an irritating reminder of her vulnerability. “I’m still me.”
“whatever helps you sleep at night,” he said dismissively, but there was an undertone of concern in his voice. “but don’t think for a second I won’t drag you back from the edge if I have to.”
y/n took a shaky breath, wiping her eyes one last time. “you really know how to make a girl feel special, don’t you?”
“shut up,” he grumbled, but the hint of a smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth. “you’re an idiot. just remember that.”
with that, the tension in the room shifted slightly, but yn knew she still had a long way to go. she would heal, but she’d do it in her own way. with dabi at her side, even if he acted like a jerk sometimes, she felt a little less alone. together, they would figure this out, one step at a time.
the room fell into an uneasy silence, broken only by y/n’s occasional sniffles as she fought to regain her composure. the tension in the air was thick, a mix of unspoken words and emotions swirling between them. dabi stood a few feet away, his expression conflicted as he watched her struggle.
“you’re really gonna keep crying, huh?” he finally broke the silence, his tone somewhere between annoyance and concern. he wasn’t used to this—seeing someone so vulnerable and broken, especially someone like y/n who had always been a source of defiance and strength.
y/n shrugged, wiping her face with the back of her hand. “what can I say? it’s a real downer to be tortured by wannabe heroes. I’m just processing.”
“yeah, well, you can process without the waterworks,” he muttered, but he took a step closer. something inside him stirred—a mix of protectiveness and frustration that he couldn’t quite shake off.
“easier said than done,” she replied, her voice shaky. “this is new territory for me.”
dabi rolled his eyes, but he found himself moving closer, drawn by an impulse he didn’t fully understand. he stood beside her, casting a long shadow over the bed. “you look like you could use something other than a pity party,” he said, his tone gruff but softer than before.
“what do you suggest? a party for one?” she replied, trying to muster a smirk. “at least I can invite you to the festivities.”
“real funny,” he said, his voice laced with sarcasm, but he settled beside her on the bed. the moment their shoulders brushed, a warmth spread through him, grounding the storm of emotions swirling inside.
“what are you doing?” y/n asked, surprise evident in her voice.
“shut up and stop crying,” he ordered, leaning back against the wall and crossing his arms. “it’s annoying.”
“so, your solution is to sit here and be annoyed with me?” she shot back, but there was a hint of gratitude in her voice.
“just be quiet for a second,” he replied, his voice low. “you look like you need a break from all the bullshit.”
y/n paused, feeling the weight of his presence beside her. the warmth radiating from him was oddly comforting. she took a shaky breath, attempting to gather herself. “you’re surprisingly good at this, touya,” she said quietly.
“don’t get used to it,” he replied, but his expression softened slightly. without thinking, he reached over and placed a hand on her back, applying just enough pressure to ground her in the moment. it was a gesture that felt intimate, yet he kept his gaze trained away, focused on the wall.
“this is weird,” y/n murmured, feeling the heat of his hand seep through her shirt. “you actually care, huh?”
“don’t push it,” he replied, but there was no bite in his tone. “just… don’t fall apart on me, alright? I didn’t come all this way to babysit you.”
“fine, fine. I’ll try to keep my emotions in check,” she promised, though the corners of her mouth lifted slightly.
“good,” he said, letting out a frustrated sigh. “because if you keep this up, I’m going to start worrying, and that’s not something I want to deal with.”
the room fell silent again, the only sound being the occasional sniffle from y/n as she struggled to regain her composure. the warmth of dabi’s hand on her back was a steady reminder that she wasn’t alone. she leaned into it slightly, finding comfort in his presence, even if it was begrudgingly given.
“you really are the worst,” she said after a moment, her voice quieter. “but I guess I’ll take what I can get.”
“just remember that when you’re back to being a smartass,” he replied, pulling his hand away as he straightened up. “I can’t have you getting soft on me, or I’ll have to do something drastic.”
“like what?” she challenged, a hint of her old fire returning. “give me a pep talk about how I should fight harder next time?”
“exactly,” he smirked, a glimmer of amusement shining through the hardened exterior he maintained. “or maybe I’ll just throw you back to those heroes and let them finish what they started.”
“now that’s just mean,” y/n said, a smile breaking through her tears. “you’re supposed to be my rescuer, not my tormentor.”
“like I said, don’t get used to it,” he shot back, though his tone held a playful edge. “but don’t think I’m letting you off easy just because you’ve had a rough patch.”
“wouldn’t dream of it,” she replied, her heart lighter as they settled into an uneasy camaraderie. even with the pain still throbbing in her body, the warmth of their banter eased the ache in her soul.
“just… get some rest,” he added, standing up and moving toward the door. “I’ll be back. try not to cry more than necessary.”
“no promises, touya,” she teased, watching him with a fondness that surprised her.
as the door clicked shut behind him, y/n let out a small breath, feeling a flicker of hope ignite within her. maybe she wasn’t as alone as she thought, even in the depths of despair.
the night stretched on, silence enveloping the hideout as the rest of the league settled into their routines. hours passed since dabi had left y/n in his room, and he found himself thinking about her more than he cared to admit. when he finally returned, he opened the door quietly, the soft creak of the hinges breaking the stillness.
he paused for a moment, taking in the sight of her sleeping form curled up on his bed. her face was peaceful, the pain temporarily eased by the escape of sleep. a hint of softness crept into his expression, but he quickly masked it with annoyance. he didn’t have time for this sentimental crap.
“tch,” he muttered under his breath, walking over to the bed. he slid in beside her, the warmth of the covers wrapping around him. almost instinctively, she shuffled, sensing his presence even in her sleep.
“what are you doing?” she mumbled, her voice thick with drowsiness as she blinked up at him. “this is my room, you know?”
“it’s my fucking bed, dumbass,” dabi shot back, trying to keep his voice steady despite the flicker of amusement in his eyes.
“oh shit… my bad,” she replied, realization washing over her. y/n attempted to sit up, but a sharp jolt of pain shot through her body, making her gasp. she winced, her hands instinctively pressing against her side.
“the fuck are you doing, y/n?” dabi snapped, concern bleeding through his irritation as he watched her struggle.
“just… trying to get back to my room,” she replied, gritting her teeth against the pain. “I’m fine, really.”
“you’re clearly not fine,” he growled, sitting up and placing a firm hand on her shoulder, gently but insistently pushing her back down. “you need to rest. are you trying to kill yourself?”
“it’s not that bad,” she insisted, but the tremor in her voice betrayed her. she could feel the pain intensifying, a reminder of the hell she’d endured.
dabi narrowed his eyes at her stubbornness. “let me see,” he demanded, shifting closer. he placed a hand on her side, applying gentle pressure. the moment he pressed down, y/n let out a wince, the pain flaring anew.
“wtf was that for, touya?!” she exclaimed, irritation flashing in her eyes as she shot him a glare, even though it was obvious she was still hurting.
“get it through your head. you’re not invincible,” he replied, his voice steady but laced with a hint of frustration. he could see the pain etched on her features, and it made something twist in his gut.
“thanks for the reminder, but I didn’t need you to be a jackass about it,” she retorted, her voice sharp despite the way her breath hitched from the lingering pain. she winced again as she shifted, trying to find a more comfortable position.
“you think this is easy for me?” dabi shot back, his tone harsher than he intended. he sighed, running a hand through his hair. “just sit still, okay? it’ll help.”
with a reluctant nod, she settled back against the pillows, but he could see the way her body was tense, how she was fighting against the pain. he felt a surge of annoyance at himself for not being able to do more. “look,” he started, his voice softer now, “I’m just trying to help. you really need to rest.”
she met his gaze, the stubborn fire still in her eyes but dimmed by fatigue. “fine,” she murmured, allowing her head to lean back against the wall as she closed her eyes for a moment, trying to breathe through the discomfort.
dabi’s irritation faded as he watched her. she was strong, but even the toughest needed support. without thinking, he shifted closer, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. she tensed slightly at first, but then relaxed into him, seeking the warmth he offered.
“there. it’s not a big deal,” he muttered, trying to sound nonchalant, but the hint of protectiveness seeped through.
“you’re such a softy, touya,” y/n teased, though her voice was weaker, softer now. “I can’t believe you’re actually cuddling with me.”
“shut up,” he replied, his tone defensive. “this is just practical. it’s warmer, and you need to stop shivering.”
“practical, huh?” she echoed, snuggling a bit closer to him. “sure, keep telling yourself that.”
dabi rolled his eyes but didn’t push her away. he found himself relishing the quiet moment, the way her breathing began to slow as she relaxed against him. it felt oddly comforting, and he couldn’t deny the warmth spreading through him.
the silence wrapped around them like a thick blanket, filled only by the soft sounds of y/n's breathing. she nestled closer into dabi’s side, the heat radiating from him providing comfort against the chill of her lingering pain. he shifted slightly, instinctively tightening his hold around her shoulders.
after a few moments, y/n broke the quiet. “did you miss me?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. she turned her head slightly to gauge his reaction, a teasing smile dancing on her lips, despite the weight of the question.
dabi’s brow furrowed as he looked down at her, his expression a mix of annoyance and something softer. “you think I have time to miss anyone?” he replied, his tone gruff, but there was an underlying warmth there that didn’t go unnoticed.
“come on, it’s a simple question,” she pressed, trying to suppress a smile. “you could just say yes, you know.”
he sighed, running a hand through his hair, a hint of exasperation in his eyes. “fine. maybe I missed you a little,” he admitted, his voice begrudgingly honest. “not that I’d tell anyone else.”
“oh really?” she said, feigning surprise. “a little? I’d say I was gone for quite a while. you should have been lonely without me.”
“lonely? hardly,” he scoffed, though she could see the flicker of amusement in his eyes. “I had plenty of things to keep me occupied. but yeah, it was… quieter.”
y/n smiled at that, feeling a warmth blossom in her chest. “I guess I was kind of fun to have around,” she teased lightly.
“you were more annoying than fun,” he shot back, but the corner of his mouth twitched upward. “always getting in the way. but I guess it’s better than having nothing to deal with.”
“so, you missed my annoying self then?” she prodded, enjoying this back-and-forth.
“shut up,” he muttered, but there was no real bite to his words. “just don’t go getting yourself captured again. I don’t want to deal with the consequences.”
as the night deepened, the soft glow from the single lamp in the corner of the room cast a warm light over y/n and dabi. she could hear the faint sounds of the league moving about outside, but in this moment, it felt like they were the only two in existence. she relaxed further into his side, feeling a strange sense of safety she hadn’t felt in months.
“you know,” she began, her voice trailing off as she considered her words, “being away from all of you… it was different. I didn’t think I’d miss it, but I did.”
“what, the chaos?” dabi replied, arching an eyebrow. “you’re telling me you missed all the arguing, the plans going wrong, and the constant danger?”
“maybe not the danger,” she admitted, a small laugh escaping her lips. “but yeah, I missed the thrill. I missed you guys.” she paused, glancing up at him. “I even missed your terrible sense of humor.”
“my humor is perfect,” he shot back, a smirk creeping onto his face. “you just don’t understand true comedy.”
“right, keep telling yourself that,” she teased, then grew serious for a moment. “but really, I just… I missed being part of something. even if it is a little chaotic.”
dabi’s expression softened slightly, and he nodded. “I get it. being alone sucks. but you’re not alone anymore. we’re all messed up in our own ways, but we look out for each other. that’s what makes this whole thing work.”
“yeah, I know,” she said softly, her heart swelling at his words. “and I’m grateful for that. I never thought I’d find a place where I truly belonged, especially here.”
“well, don’t go getting all mushy on me now,” he replied, trying to mask the warmth flooding his chest with a chuckle. “I’d hate to ruin my tough-guy reputation.”
“too late for that,” she said with a smirk. “you’ve already cuddled with me, remember? tough guy or not, you’ve got a soft spot.”
“shut up,” he muttered, but he couldn’t suppress the slight blush creeping onto his cheeks. “just don’t get too comfortable with the whole cuddling thing.”
“too late,” y/n said, a playful glint in her eyes. “I think I might just make this a regular occurrence.”
dabi rolled his eyes but didn’t pull away. instead, he leaned back against the pillows, pulling her with him. “whatever. just don’t expect me to go easy on you when you’re back to being a pain in the ass.”
they lay there in silence, the warmth between them easing the tension and exhaustion that had been building for so long. y/n shifted slightly, pressing a soft kiss to dabi’s neck, her lips lingering just a moment before she pulled back. she felt his muscles tense, and she looked up, half-expecting him to scold her.
"y/n," he murmured, voice firm but with an edge of something softer. she looked up at him, searching his eyes, caught off guard by the intensity there. before she could say anything, he leaned in, capturing her lips in a kiss that started slow, almost hesitant, then deepened, as if he was trying to say everything he couldn't put into words.
her hands found their way to his shoulders, fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt as she kissed him back, feeling the tension drain from her body. she melted into him, their breaths mingling, the world fading until it was just the two of them. the kiss was a silent promise, a reminder of all they'd been through and the unspoken connection that tethered them together.
finally, they broke apart, foreheads resting against each other, and y/n whispered, "goodnight, touya."
"night, idiot."

since you admitted it,
Tumblr media
content: tsukishima x fem!reader angst, breakup, cheating, fighting, trashy writing, not proofread, kinda ooc, swearing lmk if i missed some!
a/n: inspired by Babe - Taylor Swift!! I keep forgetting i have responsibilities on this account lolzies, anyways, I think this is my first time writing angst? also, i'm working on some requests rn so sorry for the delayyy :(
Tumblr media
you and tsukishima have been arguing for what seemed like hours now. yelling at each other back and forth, throat hurting from all the screams and explaining.
"for God's sake, I didn't do shit with her! how many times do I have to say that!?" tsukishima screams. there's this girl that's been making you uncomfortable, she was beautiful. her face so pretty almost as if it was carefully crafted by god himself, her voice so sweet and smooth like honey. you felt insecure.
tsukishima had been getting close with her, which wasn't a problem at first. so what if he was friends with her, right? wrong. eventually, tsukishima had been getting way too close, cancelling plans "because she needs help studying" or "she's not feeling well, I need to be there for her"
you were getting sick. though, you held your tongue. you stayed silent and let it slide, maybe they're just good friends, that's all. is what you kept repeating to yourself.
"why are you so mad that I'm hanging out with her, geez! you have guy friends and you hangout with them all the time, why are you suddenly mad at me and her just because you're insecure? you're always like this when we hangout!" he screams again. this was the first time you ever brought it up, what could he possibly mean by 'always'?
"stop dragging useless shit into this, tsukishima! you're not stupid so stop acting like it! you know that those gestures are more than friendly!" you scream back, tears streaming down your cheeks. "I have NEVER brought this up until now, why are you so defensive, kei?! why are you hiding things from me?"
"I'm not fucking hiding anything, okay!? what do you want me to do? she's my friend! I can't just stop talking to her even if I wanted to!"
bullshit.
"really? you can't?" you say through choked sobs "are you fucking kidding me, kei? you can't? you can't stop holding her waist? you can't stop cancelling plans just to go to her house? you can't stop kissing her when you think i'm not looking? are you kidding me?"
you were shaking with anger, you couldn't find the right words at that moment, you wanted to scream and cry and shout at him but you just couldn't.
"what the hell are you talking about? I can never do anything like that, especially not with her--"
"well now you can because we're over! I can't do this anymore, kei!"
silence fills the room for a few minutes, you clench your fists so hard you were shaking. but what really bothered you the most was the slightly relieved expression on tsukishima's face.
only punctuated by your ragged breaths and the remnants of your tears staining your cheeks. tsukishima's eyes widened, the relief he initially wore began to fade into a mix of shock and regret.
tsukishima's voice, no longer fueled by anger, now shaken with uncertainty. "wait, just, let's not make reckless decisions here. I didn't mean for it to come to this!"
your heart ached as you gazed into his eyes. at that moment, you questioned if you had done the right thing. but you knew that the doubt, insecurity, and pain that had been bottling up in you had pushed you.
trembling with a mixture of anger and hurt, you finally had the strength to confront him. "Kei, you need to tell me the truth. did you do more than just kiss her?" the words hung heavily in the air, and a knot formed in the pit of your stomach.
tsukishima's shoulders slumped even further, and he let out a long, heavy sigh. with a voice that was almost a whisper, he admitted, "yes, I did, but--"
you let out a quivering gasp, covering your mouth with your hands. utterly disgusted with what he just admitted. betrayal surged through your veins, overshadowing the pain that had been lingering. the air became suffocating, and you struggled to comprehend the reality of his admission.
"i'm leaving," your voice shaking as you fought tears that threatened to overflow again "i should've known..."
tsukishima's gaze dropped to the floor, unable to meet your eyes. "i... i didn't want to hurt you. i was going to tell you eventually...i just couldn't find the right time i--"
a bitter laugh escaped your lips, "you thought hiding the truth would spare my feelings? how could you?"
tsukishima started to get angry again, his ego and pride unable to handle the truth in your words. "fucking hell," he mumbles "i messed up, okay? i never meant for it to get this far. it just...happened."
your anger flared again, and you took a step back, distancing yourself from him. "no, tsukishima, it didn't just happen. you made choices, and you chose to betray me!"
as you turned to leave, his voice trailed after you, desperate and regretful. "i'm sorry, i really am."
but the apology fell on deaf ears. the door closed behind you, leaving tsukishima alone in the haunting silence of the room.

joshua ran his hand through his hair, letting out a small sigh. he was reading a book but his mind seemed unable to focus as the words and sentences didn’t make sense in his head.
“you’ve been reading this one single page for ten minutes now, your highness” he heard seungkwan’s teasing voice and just looked up at his friend.
“i’m aware of that, seungkwan” joshua mumbled and put the bookmark between the pages, leaving the item on a small table.
he bit his lip and looked outside the window, the sight of mountains bringing him some peace.
joshua’s mind was uneasy due to the late return of his army. and his absence at the battlefield.
the news of victory brought by his right hand and good friend, minghao, definitely caused him to sleep better. but before that, there had been weeks of days filled with stress and anxiety. and now, for  unknown reasons the army’s arrival was postponed – and there was no message.
“i’m sure general l/n has everything under control” seungkwan’s voice brought joshua back to reality and he subconsciously smiled upon hearing your last name.
maybe that was the reason why he was constant concern. he was worried about you. no, it wasn’t like he doubted your fighting abilities it’s just… anything could happen on the battle ground. besides, you weren’t a bender. obviously, every caring prince would be worried about his subordinates. the matter was that it was your first serious battle all alone. usually he was there too. or at least seungcheol, who was his father’s military advisor – also very skilled in combat. but due to his injury and the medics sharp warning he wasn’t able to go.
joshua sighed quietly and stood up, lazily walking up to his balcony. the cold air hugged his face, a refreshing breeze filling his lungs.
another cause of his stress was… well, you’re a woman. it’s not like women don’t hold high positions in society and are well respected in the water kingdom but… army was mostly men. who knew if any of the soldiers didn’t cause you trouble.
“i don’t think that the ball is a good idea…” joshua mumbled, tracing shapes on the marble railing.
“whether you like it or not, your mother had already decided. majority of our alliances arrived” seungkwan shrugged and turned around upon the sound of knocking. joshua looked through his shoulder, expectant.
it was minghao.
it must have been good news since he was shining.
“they’re here”
before the prince could pass him in the door, minghao cleared his throat.
“y/n is resting though”
joshua stopped in his tracks, not even realising there's a smile that appeared – dropped now slowly.
“is she hurt?” he asked, worry in his voice. seungkwan closed the balcony door and joined the water kingdom’s prince's side.
“no, no. not as far as i know. she’s just exhausted and needs to prepare for the ball. and the paper work, losses and such… it’d be better if you didn’t bother her” minghao suggested softly. “wonwoo is to your disposal though”
wonwoo, the lieutenant general. that’s fine, he’ll just ask about you.
joshua nodded and left in silence. seungkwan and minghao exchanged playful looks.
joshua could not sit still. his mother sent him numerous looks but his eyes weren’t focused at her at all. he scanned the crowd in search of you.
his mother was oh so kind to postpone the ball to the next day, letting the soldiers rest. as he noticed, most of them made it. you surely would be here too, right? you were the general after all.
then it struck him like thunder.
there you were, in the midst of people. a flowy, light blue dress on your body gently falling onto the floor. he knew you got the access to the best sewers in the kingdom but this time… your dress really reminded him of water. maybe it was the silver linings in it? or just the lightness of the fabric? either way, you looked angelic. and with your hair loose, falling like waterfalls on your shoulders.
as the great warrior you were, you sensed his gaze on you. sending him a small smile, looking from above your companion’s shoulder, joshua sighed dreamily.
your lips moved and then you walked past the man you talked to, stepping directly into joshua’s direction. he cleared his throat, his sight on you.
“my queen” you hummed and bowed gently to his mother first, then you held eye contact with him with another bow “my prince”
“general l/n, you’re truly the shining star of our army. we’ve heard the tales and i must say, i admire your vigour and dedication” his mother said. you bowed again.
“thank you, my queen. i’m proud i can serve our country” you nodded, smiling gently. joshua adored your face, not being able to get enough of it. especially after your three-months long absence.
“mother if you don’t mind, you’ll hear the stories later. now i’m going to kidnap general l/n for a minute”
before you knew it, his hand tenderly interlocked with yours as he lead you to the dance floor. landing in the middle, below the silver chandelier that lit up your face in the prettiest ways possible, the prince placed a feather-light kiss atop of your hand.
the music started, the royal sounds of cello and violins ripping through air; joshua led the dance, his ebony eyes scanning your face. his features were overtaken by the look of how much he missed you, you could tell it by his eyes only. the soft curve of his smile made your heart melt, fingers brushing against his neck.
“so beautiful” he hummed deeply, heart almost aching with joy. why was it like this? he thought he thought it through but now he was just confused; why does his heart hurt when you’re finally within his reach?
”so, so beautiful” joshua repeated, daring to glance at your lips “i missed you dearly”
you huffed, letting him sway to the rhythm of music. because he was an excellent water bender, he was one with the flow – whether it was his element or music. he guided you through the sounds of instruments, which made you emotional. hearing the sound of them after months away from your homeland…
“aren’t you tired? are you fine?” joshua asked, care in his voice. he had you so close yet so far. in his arms but unable to caress your cheek or kiss your lips.
you shook your head, scanning his face. maybe you missed him too, after all.
“i’m perfectly fine now” you whispered and his look was more expressive than words; he understood what you meant: you missed him too.
the melody came to a halt and it was like a string snapped in front of your eyes, the sudden sound of chatter making you go back to reality.
“i’m sure there’s plenty of young ladies willing to dance with you. i shall not keep you busy” you said. joshua opened his mouth, protesting.
“let’s take a trip down a darker place, the garden has really improved when you were absent” he almost whined, begging with his eyes so you’d spare him even a mere moment alone.
suddenly, wonwoo approached you. he leaned in to whisper something in your ear, concern on his face. you nodded, features getting colder than snow blasting in the harshest of winters. he knew that look, it meant trouble; it meant an approaching threat.
“i’d be more than willing to. however, there happened to be an urgent matter that needs to be taken care of. i…” you hesitated and sent a look to wonwoo. he understood since he left right away. only then quiet words left your mouth “i’ll meet you in your chamber later, shu”
his heart skipped a beat, nodding. his eyes followed your figure, finally at peace that you’re back.
an outsider would never think that you’re a general, one of the skillest people in the kingdom when it came to combat. whilst being a non-bender, which was quite impressive. you were just so… flowy, glowing and gentle. oh, gentle you truly were…
“...the fuck you mean we had a tail?” you hissed, poking wonwoo’s chest and then taking a deep sigh “well fuck me, that’s just fucking great!”
“i bet your highness would want to do that” wonwoo cleared his throat, your hand slapping his arm in an instant.
“lieutenant general jeon, i ask you to behave accordingly to the situation. there is a risk of coup, the life of the royal bloodline is on the line and you dare to make a joke?” you said coldly, making wonwoo shiver. then, you suddenly snickered “i do admire your timing though. and now tell me more”
you and wonwoo were close, it’s not like it was out of his manner to joke like this. but the fact that there might be a spy in the castle right now…
“chan came across the traces and him and others made an assumption we’re followed by an fire nation soldier who survived the battle” wonwoo gave you the details.
your light dress rustled on the late afternoon wind, breeze running through its fabric. you closed our eyes, fingers tightening on the marble railing of a terrace.
there were two choices in this situation: announce there might be a spy and transport the royal family into a guarded place, which may result in panic and rumours spreading (including those about your incompetence). however, the spy might run off or give in. the second option: stay silent and don’t let anyone suspect a thing, take care of the spy with your own hands. risks: people getting hurt, especially the king or queen. or prince.
“do we know where they might be now?” you asked, looking through your shoulder at the crowded ballroom. chatter, dancing, music… people living to the fullest. and joshua being there too.
“we do have suspicions that they might be nearby, we found some traces near your… your, um, house” wonwoo answered, your eyes shifting.
“so they want me, huh?” you sighed. that was far better than the royals getting hurt. staring at the sunset, a wide palette of oranges and yellows melting into one, you nodded. “inform the guards, keep an eye on any suspicious activity. i’ll go check if they’re still around my place. report immediately if anything happens”
“yes, general” wonwoo saluted and walked away, feeling the breath of urgency on his neck.
adoring the sunset for a little longer, watching it morph into a navy night sky; you decided to go before it got too dark.
joshua was walking around his chamber, footsteps echoing due to the largeness of it. it was past midnight, almost 6 hours since you left the ballroom… did you change your mind? you didn’t want to come?
he let out a deep sigh, plopping on his bed and staring at the book he was reading.
joshua was a prince and enjoyed literature, he has read countless and countless books and genres. he especially found an interest in old romance but all of them had a similar scheme when it came to relationships: the woman was the one to be head over heels whipped for the guy. she’d blush when someone mentioned his name, she’d miss him dearly when he’s on his adventurous voyages, she’d dream of him even in her sleep. he never read a book with an opposite order of things. and yet… here he was, waiting for you like a lost puppy. while his heart sought after you, his mind was worried about your wellbeing during your army shenanigans, he longed to hear, see or touch you even for a mere moment longer.
huffing like an displeased child, he laid on the bed. if you come, you come. and he’ll be asleep. that way, you’ll know he doesn’t cares that deeply—
knock knock. knock knock knock knock.
joshua frowned, sitting up. it could be you but… it wasn’t your usual knock.
the door opened with a quiet creak. you were leaning against the doorframe , upper body leaning forward with hair falling on your face.
“took you long enough” joshua mumbled and stood up, when you suddenly started sliding down the doorframe lifelessly. he ran up to you, kneeling down and grabbing your hands. frighteningly cold hands “what’s wrong?”
his voice remained strong unlike his heart. you gathered all your willpower and raised your head, fighting the dropping eyelids.
“my back…” you croaked out, leaning forward but only ending up in his embrace.
he did not image your reunion like that.
joshua gently moved his hands to your back and his fingers met with something… sticky…? the flowy material of your dress was ripped, the warmth of the liquid contrasting with the low temperature of your body.
“y/n, what happened?” he asked, voice stern yet revealing a hint of worry.
“i’ll explain later just… help me, shu. please” you breathed out, the air tickling his neck. joshua gulped, his adam’s apple bobbing, and he grabbed you in bridal style.
placing you on his queen sized bed, rolling gently to the side, his mind was racing with thoughts. what happened? were you attacked? was it a fresh wound?
“i’ll rip the dress, only on the back. i apologize, ill buy you thousands of new ones just… breathe for me, alright?” he stuttered, putting on some light.
only then his eyes saw how serious was your wound. he took a sharp inhale, throat going dry.
there was a deep wound going across your back, left arm to almost the side of your right hip. it looked like a sword left such a mark.
joshua quickly opened the handy tap he had in his chamber and didn’t bother to pour it into bowl.
he bent water straight from the tap, focusing deeply. trying to connect with his inner peace and energy but his rapid heartbeat seemed to disturb him too much.
“focus, jisoo” he grunted to himself, slender fingers shaking “y/n, talk to me. you need to stay conscious”
“won’t talking take my oxygen that i desperately need–” you started.
“yeah, you’re right. be quiet” he scoffed, trying to light up the mood. then he moved his hands slowly from the beginning to your wound to the end of it. very slowly, surely. still like water, his palms flat but fingers directing the stream of liquid. you groaned, curling your back.
it wasn’t the first time joshua was patching you up but it definitely was the first time he knew it’s dead serious… and seeing you in such pain.
another thing was that at the back of his mind there was a sprouting thought that he won’t be able to close the wound completely. not with his heart all over the place.
joshua took a deep breath, focusing on the element flowing through his body. not on you… in pain… bleeding out on his bed…
“’m sorry”
at first, he didn’t hear it. only when he heard a sob, he realized that it’s you.
“hey, no. don’t apologize, that’s an order. it’s a deep wound, i know it hurts but im trying my best and we’ll talk it out later.
inch by inch, millimetre by millimetre, thanks to his healing abilities your skin started clasping the wound. he wasn’t sure which technique to use – layer by layer or pieces at once but the crimson liquid pouring out of your pale back made him chose the first one. which will lead to leaving a scar.
joshua began to feel worn out, despite all the hours of training that prepared him for such situations. but he knew that if he stopped now, you could die.
“shu…” you mumbled, shaking like a leaf. your voice was quiet, weak. he felt time slipping through his fingers.
brows knitting, sweat dripping down his temple, joshua shook his head. despite strength leaving him, he promised himself to restore as much as possible.
you looked through your arm, pearly tears shimmering in the moonlight. joshua’s heart ached, as if someone put a needle right through it.
“i know, i’m sorry but i beg, a few more minutes…” he croaked, feeling lightheaded.
“you’re exhausting yourself, stop it” a whisper escaped your lips “shu, please”
“no, you need to live” he grunted. you frowned and tried to sit up, causing him to gasp “are you insane?”
“give me the bandage and go call the medics. i don’t want you to pass out” you ordered, reaching for his hand.
joshua put the last ounces of water and energy into your body, leaning to close the tap. then, he dug in one of his drawers.
you were still bleeding but far less than when you barged in. he handed you the material and wiped the tears, sweat and blood off your face.
“i’ve got this now. go get some help, please” you sent him a weak smile.
joshua cursed mentally and left quickly. you were probably right.
once he was back with jun, jihoon and seokmin, they took care of you. the oldest one gave you some herbs that would put you to sleep as they worked on your wound. joshua insisted that it all took place inside his chamber.
they were done around 3am, leaving you two alone. the prince managed to get rid of the blood stained duvet and covered you in a blanket that was on his couch.
them, he laid down next to you. the moonlight shone on your pale face, parted lips making an escape for soft snores. your chest was rising up and down a lot more calmly, joshua could feel your energy being more vivid that before. it was stable now, like a steam of water in the woods rather than dried out lake.
“you always have to cause some trouble, huh?” he scoffed and reached his hand out, caressing your cheek gently. even in deep slumber after getting hurt you were so beautiful.
he noticed your brows furrowing and fingers twitching. your breathing sped up, yet you remained asleep. joshua observed you cautiously.
“no… don’t… don’t kill him” you mumbled, shifting in your sleep. his eyes widened, realizing you’re having a nightmare “anyone but… but my shu”
joshua’s heart melted on spot, pleasant warmth flooding his insides.
“you can’t even get a rest, can you?” he huffed and shuffled closer, guiding your head onto his chest. you instantly nuzzled closer, arms instinctively wrapping around his body.
with an uneasy mind, he caressed your hair. your breathing calmed down so he wondered if the nightmare went away.
joshua stuck his gaze into the open window, unable to relax. stars barely shone on the navy horizon, covered by clouds. it seemed like the sky couldn’t sleep either.
upon stirring awake you instantly knew (even without opening your eyes) that you’re in joshua’s bed. it was much more softer than your bed but above all, it had the comfort. you felt warm and secure; cozy in his hold. joshua had his arm wrapped around you, fingers tracing shapes on your skin.
peeking an eye open you noticed he’s holding a book with his other hand, eyes tracking the text.
you wanted to stay like this forever.
then, a stinging pain ran through your back and you trembled, causing him to shift his worried gaze at you. he gasped softly.
“you’re awake” joshua hummed and leaned closer, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead.
you melted because of the gesture, nuzzling further into his neck.
“how do you feel?” he asked, worry in his voice.
“better, much better. thank you, shu. i apologize for the mess i made” you mumbled, resting his palm on his chest. he put his hand over it, caressing your skin.
joshua missed this so much. he missed you.
silence was hanging between you two, an unspoken question of “what happened?” hanging above your head.
“may i see wound?” he asked suddenly. you nodded, your hair tickling his skin.
he helped you sit straight and handed you one of his sleeping cloth to cover the front of your body.
joshua gently moved your hair from your back, his fingertips ghosting over your skin. goosebumps covered your arms.
“you know… you always say i’m so beautiful” you started quietly. joshua hummed in acknowledgment to let you know that he’s listening. then, he shuffled something closer and put it on the bed “but i’m not. i’m so ugly, joshua. my soul is ugly”
“that is not true, y/n” he protested sternly as his delicate fingers worked on removing the bandage. his touches were soft, almost as if he was afraid to touch you.
“i’m a soldier, shu. i hurt people. and yesterday… there was a spy. he sneaked up on me, threatened to kill you. and that triggered me i just… couldn’t bare that thought. and i saw red… he used my distraction and tripped me, slicing in the back” you stuttered, throat going dry “i’m a failure. i almost let him escape, your life was at risk and i couldn’t control my emotions…”
his movement halted for a while, the quietness od the room making your soft pants sound much more louder than you’d like to.
“you are not a failure. you had led our army to victory, several times” joshua resumed and you felt the calming stream of water. then, you felt a soothing sensation spreading over your wound.
joshua was bending to recover your wound, or at least make it heal quicker and more effectively.
“yeah but… i’m a bad person” you mumbled, playing with your fingers.
he stopped bending and put a new bandage over your wound, it still not being clasped fully.
joshua patted your arm and you put his shirt on, turning around.
“you know why i always say you’re so beautiful?” joshua asked and once you faced him, he grabbed your chin gently “obviously i mean your looks too but above all, i treasure your soul. you’re such a pure, dedicated human”
you swallowed, his soft features warming your heart.
“this situation must have made you feel upset and not worthy but you’re so appreciated. my your subordinates, friends… by me. as much as i admire your readiness to sacrifice for me but please, i beg, don’t do it next time” joshua hummed, his thumb moving in soothing manner “i’d rather die myself than live without you”
“don’t say that” you scoffed, shaking your head gently “our country needs a leader”
“and i need you” joshua replied, moving his hands to cup your face “please, y/n. you’re so precious to me… so–“
“if you say beautiful i’ll smack you” you let out a laugh and he couldn’t help but share a smile.
“but it’s true” he grinned and closed the gap between you two, lips crashing on yours. you shared a passionate kiss, a one that lovers after reunion share.
but truth be told, you were like all those lovers in old tales.
and maybe this time, there’s going to be a flawless ending: making it official.

The tuna sandwich you made two weeks ago surprisingly became a favorite of Jungkook, which you didn't see coming, because he was a good cook (he truly did prove you wrong) and you were a shit one in comparison. To be fair, making a sandwich isn't totally cooking but you still season the tuna and that was cooking in your opinion but anyway, Jungkook loved it so much he kept on asking you for it whenever he came over.
Never had anyone validated your cooking before, only Jungkook, and you couldn't lie and say it didn't boost your ego whenever he ate it almost rather enthusiastically, and then kissed you sweetly (albeit smelling like tuna) and saying thank you with that adorable smile of his.
So today, you may have accidentally made five tuna sandwiches and bought way too much Chinese food that is anything but for individual consumption. Because today, you may be going to the gym to get lunch with Jungkook on his break.
[12:30pm] You: It's your lunch break, right? Are you still practicing?
[12:32pm] Kook🐰: hi baby we finished just now it'slunch break i go to class at 2pm
[12:32pm] Kook🐰: have u eaten should we get lunch together
[12:35pm] Kook🐰: i got starbucks coupon yesterdat👺
[12:35pm] Kook🐰: yesteeday
[12:35pm] Kook🐰: yesterday
[12:35pm] You: I'm coming to the gym
Turning off your phone after that brief exchange, you tiptoed a little to spot the gym.
It was almost crazy to think that once upon a time you've never stepped a foot in there, but nowadays it has become almost like a routine, no thanks to constantly hanging out with Jungkook. And it wasn't just you going to his "thing", either, it was also him fetching you from the publication office or bringing you food there.
It's a rather big shift from keeping your relationship a secret to everyone else from… effortlessly flaunting it to everybody. But no, you wouldn't really call it flaunting. Flaunting meant you have every intention to make everyone know, but that wasn't the case for you both. Not at all. It was more of like: "They see us, then they see us. Who cares?" and personally it was hard to not care the first few weeks, especially when you would hear your name from the girls' gossips in the women's comfort room. But the talks died down eventually and finally, no one cares now about the girl Jungkook's hanging out with.
Anyhow, it was nice to not… hide anymore. Or pretend that you didn't know each other in the hallways. Jungkook liked it as much. You think.
As you reach the gym, you see Taehyung near the entrance door. It looks like he just changed out of his jersey, his fringes wet.
"Hi," you greet, waving at him.
"Oh, __, hey," Taehyung looks up from his phone to look at you then grins. "Jungkook's inside." He says, gesturing with his thumb. His eyes train to the lunch bag in your hand and the familiar plastic bag of a Chinese restaurant across the street. Wiggling his eyebrows, he teases, "Is that for him? Sweet."
You immediately roll your eyes at that. "Shut up, Tae."
Additionally, one of the big shifts in your life the past few months was finding a close friend in Jungkook's friends. Taehyung and you have been getting closer these days, enough for you to comfortably exchange sarcastic remarks about each other. Turns out, he was an extremely fun guy to be around and get this, he knows Letterboxd. How cool is that! (Though he still really holds that time you didn't show up at your coffee hang against you. He brings it up every single time and you'd have to treat him to a cafe some weeks.)
Taehyung laughs and brings his hands up, jokingly surrendering. "Kidding, kidding. He's waiting for you inside. Gotta go, though. 1pm class."
You nod. "See you around, Tae."
You thought he was gonna go scram but he looked at you one last time and said, "Don't do anything funny in there."
Heat goes through your body, settling to your cheeks. Taehyung really gets on your nerves, it makes so much sense that he was close friends with Jungkook.
"Shut up, I hate you and Hyerin deserves so much better." You say spitefully, referring to the woman he's been going on dates with recently, rolling your eyes once again as Taehyung just laughed his ass off, walking further away.
Ugh. You really wish he didn't walk in on you and Jungkook three days ago. To be fair, Jungkook forgot to lock his room (again!) when you were fooling around and Taehyung was a neanderthal who didn't know how to knock. So cue Taehyung joking about it whenever the opportunity came.
"Hey!"
You turn around to see Jungkook jogging towards you, still in his jersey with a towel hanging around his neck. Some of his team mates are also hanging around the benches. As if just having noticed you as well, they wave at you and say a chorus of "Hi"s and "What's up, __"s which you returned with a smile and a greeting back.
Jungkook greets you personally with a wet kiss on the lips.
"Hi, pretty."
"Hey, you," You greet back, swiping his bangs off his forehead. You quickly retreat. "You're so sweaty. Wipe your forehead."
Jungkook does it so. "Done." he looks down at the things you've got in your hand. "You brought me lunch?" He says, a grin plastered all over his face.
You hold your arms up with the bags. "Yeah. Chinese and tuna sandwiches. I thought we could eat here or something."
His grin only spreads wider at your words, and you can only mirror his smile. He was so smily today.
"You mean your tuna sandwiches? Fuck, I could kiss you right now. Thank you." He says enthusiastically, wrapping his arm around your waist and leading you to the bleachers.
You followed him and you settled on your usual spot where you've eaten one of your lunches before. It was quite far away from the area where the other guys were seated.
"It's nothing. I made a lot this morning because my classes got canceled." You say, unzipping the lunch bag with the sandwiches in it. You give him one and open another yourself, taking out the pack of mayo to put it in between the bread.
"Hm, fuck, these are so good. Seriously. You should start a food business." Jungkook comments, munching on the sandwich.
You chuckle. "No, what the hell. I need to have a variety in the menu if I start something. I just can't sell sandwiches."
Jungkook shrug. "Eh, it could be like a special thing. __ Sandwich Exclusive Cafe. Something like that. Or just post these online, I'll go tell my friends about it and you'll get rich in a week. I have a celebrity friend."
Your laughter becomes louder, shoulders moving up and down.
"You sound like a crypto scammer that way. You should've started with, "Are you open-minded?" and that would've sold me."
Jungkook snorts at that, grabbing another sandwich from the bag. You take a dumpling from the take-out and extended it to his mouth, which he opens to take the food you offered him.
"If dad cuts me off completely I'll be one of those crypto dudes on Twitter, so you're not totally wrong."
You both laugh at that, with you pushing him slightly on his bicep.
"Well, I'll help you scam people, then. I'll be the one commenting on your tweets and vouching for your legitimacy."
Jungkook nods, pretending like he was thinking about it. "Hm. Or I can start an OnlyFans if it fails so that I can still give you your boba everyday."
You can't help but giggle.
"You know I always appreciate your sacrifice. Maybe we can start a Pornhub channel if I couldn't get admitted to law school."
Jungkook lets out a "tsk!". "Don't say that. With the way you study, you'll be overqualified." It was his turn to give you a dumpling then, which you ate just as quickly as he offered it. Jungkook smiles as he watches you chew on it. "But if it counts, I won't be opposed to us starting a Pornhub channel."
You search through the Chinese take out bags again to find your fried rice. As you did so, you opened it, not forgetting to reply to Jungkook and looking at him as you say, "Well, I'll have to practice my porn moan for that."
And just as soon as you said that you knew he already had something dirty to utter, and he doesn't fail you.
"Maybe we can practice tonight…" He said, voice intentionally going octave deeper.
You chuckle at his predictability.
"I knew you were gonna say that."
Before he could deny how predictable he was or brag about how quick-witted he was, you heard a bunch of footsteps on the court.
"Hey, Jeon! We're going!" Says one guy, looking at you both.
Jungkook turns to look at them and shouts back, "Yeah, see you around, Mingyu!"
"__!" They call you.
When you looked at them, they nodded, ready to leave, announcing their departure so you wave at them goodbye.
When they were out of sight, you asked Jungkook, "Hey, what's that about your Starbucks coupon?"
As if remembering something, Jungkook's eyes widened a little as he takes his phone from his pocket. "Oh, yeah I got one yesterday. Here." He looked inside his phone case and took out a card.
You leaned down to study it curiously, reading the benefits of the card holder getting a $50 token.
"Ohh, that's amazing! How'd you get this? I want one too."
Jungkook let you take the card and looked at it with you. "I don't really know, the barista just gave me this after I got some latte."
Oh. Hm. Interesting. You bet it was a woman barista.
"Hmm."
Jungkook shrugs. "It's probably because I gave her the exact amount of the payment in cash. I don't know."
Her. Exactly. She was probably the same barista who always looked at Jungkook funny whenever you two came there. She had an obvious crush and you couldn't really blame her. But it was funny, that Jungkook thought it was because he gave the exact amount of payment in cash the barista decided to give him a gift card. You would think his lowkey fuckboy ways would tell him that a woman likes him, but he was so clueless sometimes. If you were honest to yourself, you'd admit it was cute.
"You can be so clueless at times, Kook." You say, patting his shoulder.
"Huh?" He looks at you with that wide eyes of his, and boy, he really doesn't suspect a thing.
You shake your head. "Nothing."
You pat his head and Jungkook squints his eyes at you. You laugh at the little exchange and Jungkook's hand extends up to hold yours up his face and you tried to pull back, giggling, thinking he was gonna do something gross like bite your hand but he only presses his mouth to your palm, holding it against his face.
You smile. Soft and gentle.
"Dinner later at my place?" Jungkook says.
You nod.
It was hard to deny someone who makes your heart go all weird when he looked at you like that.
"Sure."

Hi, first congratulations on 3k!! You deserve every one of them and more!:))
second may I request THE DARK NIGHT with “I won’t deny I’ve got in my mind now, all the things I would do. So I try to talk refined for fear that you find out, how I’m imagining you” (from ‘talk’ by hozier) and either Peter or James whoever you feel fits the best:)
Thank you very much in advance and no pressure at all ily<3
thank you angel!!! this was such a good request I loved writing it sm. the correlation with the lyric prompt is a bit vague but I hope u can see it!! I tried lolzies
fem!reader 0.5k words
James lays with his head in your lap and tries not to think about how pathetic he looks. He supposes he looks pretty lame right now. Half asleep in the lap of a girl who’s not even his girlfriend. His drink cradled in your hand because you’d taken it off him when he’d said he was feeling sick.
He doesn’t care as much as he should. He’d look pathetic in front of his friends a thousand times over if it meant he got to have his head in your lap, and your hand pressing into his back between his shoulder blades. It’s like being in heaven.
“James.”
Your voice brings James out of his drunken daze. He twists so he can look up at you. You’re already leaning over him. Your chest is directly in his line of vision. He thinks how he’d love to be in this position under different circumstances and then immediately regrets thinking it. He looks away from your chest very quickly and almost says sorry out loud.
Instead he says, “Huh?”
You giggle. It’s so pretty it makes James feel sick. Or maybe that was the beer. Or the fact that he’s head over heels for you. Either way, your laugh rings in his head even when you’ve stopped laughing.
“I was just gonna ask if you’re okay,” you say. Even though you’ve asked the same thing about ten times in the past twenty minutes. “You don’t want to go home, do you? Go to bed?”
Sirius, who’s twice as drunk as James but twice as good at hiding it, laughs loudly from across you. “I don’t think he wants to go to his bed, darling.”
Heat licks up James’s neck and sets his cheeks on fire. You can probably feel the heat through your jeans, where James has got his cheek pressed to your thigh.
“Sirius,” James groans, mostly because Sirius is kind of right and James hates that he’s right. And also because his friend is a douchebag.
“What?” Sirius laughs like he’s done nothing wrong. Typical.
“Leave him alone, Sirius,” you say, glaring.
Your hand moves up James’s back until you reach his neck, and your fingers push up into his curls. James’ stomach swoops. Worse when you lean over him and press your lips to his forehead in what he thinks is a pity kiss. He smells all your smells, your perfume and the drink you’ve had and your cherry lipgloss. Your face hovers over James for a moment and his mind goes to places he wishes it wouldn’t.
When you pull back James sits up fast. It makes him dizzy, if he wasn’t already dizzy enough. Your hand drops from his hair and you frown.
“James?” You ask softly. You touch your hand to his knee. “You okay?”
You look at him so intensely James wonders if you can read his mind. If you can see all the thoughts he thinks about you. He hopes you can’t. It scares him to death, what you’d say if you knew.
“I’m— I’m fine,” he manages, glad that Sirius is distracted now so he doesn’t hear James stuttering. “Feeling much better, actually.” A total lie, but he’s ready to do anything to escape that gaze of yours. “Thanks for, um. Looking after me.”
You smile at him like he’s the only person in the room. James feels like he’s been kicked in the stomach, worse when you squeeze his thigh with your lovely soft hand.
“Any time, Jamie.”

Nanami had a quiet life. One where he went to his everyday office job, worked 9-5, went by the bakery and went home.
It was his quiet life up until Gojo left you on his front door step, leaving him with nothing but you and your backpack. Nanami was very angry, not with you of course. How could he ever be mad at a clueless kid?
“How old are you?” He sipped his coffee, peeking at you from the top of the rim.
“You can take me back to where i came from.” Was all you replied with.
So you were troubled. “I’m not going to do that. I spoke with Gojo, sounds like you were in a bad clan. Its not safe for you to go there, but i heard you don’t want to be like them.” “I don’t want to kill.” You mumbled. He felt that. He felt it so deeply, he didn’t want to see his friends dead on Shoko’s table, but that’s the reality.
After a moment of silence, you spoke up. “I’m 17.” You pushed at your food. “Why don’t you try some?” Nanami softly said. Gojo warned you he was a little strict and rough around the edges, but he had been nothing but nice to you. You ate slow bites, taking a sip of water here and there. He could tell you were tense. “I’m Nanami Kento. I guess you’re gonna stay with me for a while.”
-
“I landed that blow!” You high fived Nanami, running around in circles.
“A little too hard, don’t ya think?” Yuuji scratched his head. “That’s why i told you to keep focused, Itadori.” Nanami shook his head. “I just won me some good dinner, Itadori.” You fixed your skirt, smile beaming. “By almost killing me?” You help him up, rubbing the spot where you hit him. “Yup! I won me some good soup tonight.”
Nanami studied you closely. After days and days of talking, he figured out what you could do. Your technique was too good to go to waste, but he didn’t want to force you into something you didn’t want. So he joined back with you. He promised that as long as you were in there, he’d be by your side.
He never expected such a shy person like you to create so many friendships with everyone around you, especially Itadori. With your technique and his, you two were unstoppable. Nanami felt like a proud dad at that moment.
-
“Open it, open it!” You shove the box in his hands.
You wrapped the blanket around yourself tighter, smile growing by the second. It was christmas morning, and you had woken up Nanami way to early. You didn’t even sleep from the excitement. He lifted the top off the box, revealing a beach shirt. It was nice, thin fabric. A designer button up. “Thank you, this is beautiful.” He was a little confused as to why you got him a summer shirt in the middle of winter.
You slide an envelope from under your blanket. “This one too.” You grin widely. “What’s this?” Nanami’s brows furrowed. “Open it.” Your eyes are filled with excitement, glossed over. He opened the envelope in a swift move, eyes slowly reading the thick paper.
He looked up slowly, his usual bored look now gone. Replaced with joy and disbelief. “These are…tickets to Malaysia…” He broke into a smile. “Surprise!” You gave him a grin. For the first time since Nanami had met you, he pulled you into a hug. You felt his muscles grow tighter with every second, you could hear his heart beat with excitement.
“Everything’s all settled already. I got us two weeks off, hotel booked and reservations for fun things.” You whispered, patting his back. “Thank you.”
-
“In here!” You take Itadori’s hand, pulling him into the station.
You had lost Nanami, and you had been trying to find him. You can’t lose him, especially not in Shibuya. You two turned the corner before meeting some stairs. You could hear grunts and see blood splashing everywhere. You two ran down the steps, bumping into Itadori as he came to a halt. What you saw was just like your nightmare. Everything you wished never happened was happening and you couldn’t move.
Nanami’s body was half burned, worn out. His eyes looked tired, body beaten and bruised. His weapon was covered in blood, along with dead curses all around him. Mahito stood behind him, hand on his back.
“Nanami…” Itadori’s voice broke.
“Itadori…” Nanami turned around completely.
He gave you a half smile, meeting your eyes. You covered your mouth, Itadori’s grip around you arm becoming tighter. “You’ve got it from here.” He looked at Itadori before looking back down towards you. He felt so bad, having you see him all like this. You looked tired, sad, beaten, bruised, and scared. Never in his years has he seen you scared.
“I’ll see you in Malaysia, my sweet child.”
His body grew before exploding. One moment he was there, and now nothing but bloody body parts were flying everywhere. You stare at the empty spot, a deafening scream growing in your chest. You couldn’t get anything out, so you stood there, eyes full of tears, waiting for someone to kill you too. Waiting for someone to wake you up, someone to move you. Waiting for Nanami.
He woke you up. Every morning. He would come by your dorm if you misses morning classes. He ate breakfast with you in his office. He would rarely join you and the other students. He’d mentor you for hours and take you to get your favorite Udon noodles if you did good. Even if you didn’t, he’d still treat you. You had your childhood ripped away from you, and like he said, “It is not a sin to be a child.”
He really meant it. He meant every word he had ever said to you. He loved you like you were apart of him.
“We have to go.”
“But…Nanami…” You said as you pointed to the empty space.

Ever wonder how in the hell Jay's death goes? well do I HAVE A STORY FOR YOOUUUU!!! INTRODUCING HIS NEW CAUSE OF DEATH WOAH!!!! !
TW: Alcohol abuse, Drug abuse, suicide/suicidal tendencies, self harm, overdose mention, gore, ???
Quick note?? All of this is canon, yes he dies like this ;P LOLZIES!!!!! ALso if its all over the place i apologize i am fighting a moth while writing this /srs kinda curious to know how anyone reacts to it, so... if you wanna put that down or make a post go for it, honestly im kinda considering having this be my closing post but idk yet lol </3
The sound of a gunshot can never be heard over crowds laughing and music blasting. Fireworks in the air, water from the pool splashing... The loud BANG deaf to everyone's ears. How could we know that? The only way it was learned was finding the body of Mr. Jay Gatz. In the highest point of his manor, overlooking the crowd below...
Let's start from square one.
Jay felt... Unwanted. Alone, if you will. As a man who's built himself and his business up only for the sake of overthrowing others, he wasn't the most enjoyed man around. Normally he would've handled this by now. The dread, the self pity, everything he had thought about himself was always kept inside. Why not now? Standing alone, pathetic... In the office he had to himself. Bookcases covering the walls of obscure novels that he hasn't even read, a desk holding messy stacks of various papers, making him feel even worse about himself. A never ending ringing phone before he cut it, the gusts of wind blowing from the outside rustling against the curtains behind him. What a pitiful life.
An outsider. That's all he was, wasn't he? Standing up on that balcony of his, absent to anyones attention besides the solemn glow of the moon above him, and even that was leaving him soon. The fireworks lit up the mansion, the people below, the water, and the champagne bottles crashing and being tossed around to be used. He lit a cigarette, holding it for just a moment then he took a drag.
...After another drag, and another, and another... He put out the cigarette... On his own arm. He winced at the burning feeling against his skin, but another scar wouldn't hurt... Right? Scars were littered all over his body anyway, just another part of him to be ruined. He lit another cigarette then walked inside to grab a bottle of vodka from his own personal storage of alcohol. Never touched unless he was feeling more pathetic than other nights.
Ha, maybe this time he can drink himself to death. Or maybe Perkins will call the ambulance again. Jay hoped to whatever god there was above he wouldn't survive this time. His shaky hands moved to the bottle, bringing it up to his lips before pausing. A week of sobriety.
...He can restart another day. Or in another life, perhaps.
He took a drink. The burn of the alcohol going down his throat being a feeling of discomfort but satisfaction was one that he had somehow managed to miss. Gatz went back out to the balcony, drinking away his sorrows before he couldn't even find himself having any emotion anymore. The rich man could barely hear the knocks at the door, let alone the sound of a man calling for his name.
Soon enough, the door opened unbeknownst to Jay. The only thing that managed to get his attention was a quiet voice coming from the darkened room, lit by only one light. But now... There was another. Then another light on as the person flicked on the light switches. ...Perkins.
➳ ❜ Ah, Jay! I was worried about you, sir! Are you doing alright up here? It's quite... Quiet up here. ❛
No response. Jay turned back to stare into nothing.
➳ ❜ Oh, I see... Maybe you should sit down, I can grab you some tea and- ...Well, maybe not any medicine, I don't want to... Let that happen again. ❛
It wasn't needed to be discussed anymore, it was obvious Perkins was referring to the prior... Attempts Jay had made. In an attempt, Perkins had tried his best to hide anything that Jay could use to end things. As of now, it was working. With a slow approach, Perkins had walked over to Jay. Placing down the lantern he held with a small blow to put it out, he found himself standing next to his boss. Or, rather, his semi-adopted son.
The silence felt like a million years. Perkins, thinking of how to approach this properly, feeling the fatherly need to sit there and just be someone for Jay to lean on, but he knew it wasn't a night for that. All he knew is that he could NEVER leave Jay alone in a state like this. He heard a small mutter of a sob coming from next to him.
╰┈➤ ❜ ...Perkins... Can we go inside? ❛
➳ ❜ Of course my boy. ❛
Jay tiredly swung his arm around Perkins shoulders as he got guided back into the office, letting the shorter man take the vodka from his bruised and shaky hand. Within the next minute or so, he found himself sitting in the rather comfortable office chair he had right infront of his desk. Almost immediately he put his arms down on the desk and put his head down on them, shielding his face in some form of fear of what'll happen next.
➳ ❜ Jay- ❛
╰┈➤ ❜ You can leave now Perkins. ...I'm fine on my own. ❛
➳ ❜ I'm worried, my boy. I can't just leave you like this. Not because it's my job but it's because I care- ❛
Jay's body tensed. Perkins froze as he could practically feel the cold emotion that came from the man right next to him.
╰┈➤ ❜ You don't have to lie to me, Perkins. ❛
Silence. Jay thought he had left, but he hadn't. When Jay lifted up his head he saw Perkins sitting quietly next to him. ...Looks like he's here for a while.
╰┈➤ ❜ ...Am I gonna be left alone forever, Perkins? ❛
➳ ❜ Oh- of course not! You have plenty of people who would love to be around you - ❛
╰┈➤ ❜ ...Then why has everyone left me? ...Everyone except you. I can't keep being alone like this. ❛
➳ ❜ I know, I know... And I'm not getting any younger... But trust me, I won't leave you all alone. You don't deserve that. ❛
╰┈➤ ❜ ... ❛
Jay stood up, then went to grab another bottle of vodka. Perkins got up to take the bottle, only for Jay to look down with a look he has only seen a few times. He was desperate for some form of numbing. ...Perkins sighed. He held up a single finger to signal he can only have one glass.
Jay agreed.
He got the glass and drank it quickly as if it were medicine. And it has been his medicine. Ever since he was younger, more vulnerable. Manipulated, oblivious, it's always been his escape.
╰┈➤ ❜ ...If I were to give you the rest of my wealth, would you let me die? ❛
Silence. Shock. A beat went by.
➳ ❜ Of course not. I wouldn't let you die at all. ❛
╰┈➤ ❜ Oh. ❛
Jay was quiet again. He exhaled and took a drag of the cigarette he had lit earlier. Blowing it out, he looked to the floor with some thought. Jay then opened a drawer in the desk, rummaging around then he let a metal item clatter into the desk.
A gun.
Perkins froze. He took a step forward and Jay put his hand on the gun. Not as a warning to Perkins, but to himself. The blond male slowly picked it up and showed that it was loaded.
╰┈➤ ❜ I was told I needed therapy. You know, I think I’m too far gone. What’s the point of it if im just a lost cause? I’ve been crying and telling too many people my sob story. At this point this… This is better. ❛
➳ ❜ No you’re not too far gone, Jay. …Put down the gun, okay? We can talk about this- ❛
The now slowly breaking millionaire then stood up sharply, stepping back. He took the gun along with him. Then… He snapped. Immediately bursting into tears, he found himself breaking every pushing second. His hands shaking more, he held the gun up to his own head.
╰┈➤ ❜ Talk about what, Perkins? How long have you tried to help me? I’ve been nothing but a waste of time, and god… God I BET if I just- if I just SHOT myself RIGHT NOW, NOBODY OUT THERE WILL HEAR OR CARE, RIGHT?! Who’d go to my funeral? You? Who else? Huh? ❛
Silence. Perkins simply walked over and hugged Jay, catching him off guard. Jays body tensed up again, trying to find a way to keep his composure but failing miserably. The gun slightly moved away from his head, then it sharply went back.
One last exhale, and one last sentence.
╰┈➤ ❜ If you want me to live another day, I need you to start running. Get to the nearest phone. ❛
God, why was he doing this? Why was he trying to help himself? He knew he’d die by then. Somehow, Perkins listened and immediately rushed to the nearest phone only to see Jay had cut the line, then opened the door to go outside. Jay stared.
The door closed, leaving Jay alone.
…Then the gun went off.
Silence. Darkness. Not a feeling. Just… emptiness.
When the paramedics got there Jay was already as dead as can be as he laid in Perkins arms. He had staged it as a murder, writing to Perkins in a final note to never specify it was suicide, but say it was homicide. The people wouldn’t care how he died.
The sight was grim. His only butler making an effort to help, holding him up as if he were still going to live. It was a desperate attempt, really, like a father begging to bring his son back from the dead. The once lively millionaire deceased, his body tense and the blood and brain matter pooling from his head onto the fur rug he had died on. His eyes were still open, only this time they were a monotone and distant blue with less saturation than ever. His skin was pale, suit tattered most likely from the fall. The cigarette lay on his hand, slowly burning at the skin. As he lay there, people were crowded around. Some were investigators, others were people who simply wanted to see. Others taking photos to post on the papers as soon as possible.
…And now Perkins was left to handle the rest of the work Jay had set up.
