So in the debate with @is-this-an-object-show and what are object shows.

I agree with @knightobreath that an object show comes from the OSC. But other than that there's no real criteria

As someone who's in the OSC but also the LPStube community, I can make a pretty good comparison here: not every show made with littlest pet shop characters is LPStube. Some Barbie doll channels might use LPS as pets for the dolls, that's not LPStube. The official show by the hub isn't LPStube because it isn't by the community, but instead the company. Just like how Annoying Orange isn't an object show since it isn't by the OSC. (The only reason BFDI counts even though there wasn't a community yet is that they basically accidentally created the community and have since embraced it, and thus BFDI counts)

But I will say that the is this an object show blog is funny, not to be taken seriously. But if people are GENUINELY trying to say that things are object shows when they aren't, then that's a whole other can of worms.

* For the record btw a paraphilia by definition is just any sexual desire classed as "unusual" by the dsm, which can include anything from apparently getting horny about imagining yourself as a vampire (?) to being attracted to fictional characters, to being attracted to trans people. It's not an issue unless it has the capacity to cause real harm to yourself or others, at which point it becomes a paraphilic disorder
