Robin blinked at him, confusion written all over her face as she made her way over, “Huh?”

“He’s not real,” Steve repeated, “My boyfriend isn’t real.”

Robin didn’t hesitate to climb right into bed with him, facing him with a frown, “But what does that mean?”

“You’re not going to believe me.”

“Try me.”

“His name isn’t Eddie Hansen. It’s Munson. That Eddie Munson,” Steve said, that same sick feeling coming back at the mention of his name, “He lied to me about everything. He doesn’t even live in this state. He just decided to stick around on a whim to fuck with me.”

Robin stared at him, her mouth hanging open. It took a second for her to collect herself but when she did she was asking rapid fire questions, “How is that possible? Are you sure he isn’t just lying about being famous? Wouldn’t that make more sense than the other way around? Isn’t the real Eddie Munson in Europe-”

“Robin,” Steve sighed, “It’s him. Stevie fucking Nicks outed him yesterday. Completely by chance.”

“I’m starting to understand why you think I won’t believe this story.”

Steve shrugged, “It doesn’t matter if you believe it or not, that’s what happened. So we’re over.”
