HAPPENING……MAYBE!! (Addressing the anime rumors + Keroro’s birthday plan revealed)

*holding my hand out toward you with sparkles framing me* Let’s take copium together!
Not the post I was planning to make next, but here’s a sudden update for a couple of reasons. Some very exciting rumors which you may very well have seen have been floating around for the last day or so, and while I was initially hype as fuck to corroborate it as fact, there’s a little asterisk to the whole thing that I wanna tack on before we shit our pants too much. In addition, the official accounts have revealed what they’re planning for Keroro’s birthday this year, and while it’s not that closely related, I might as well cover that too.
So, a summary of what alleged info just came out:
A typically reputable anime news/leak account, SugoiLITE, shared yesterday that the Keroro anime series is planned to be broadcasted in Spring 2025, and a new movie is planned for 2026. However, the only publicly verifiable info hinting toward this is a recently released interview in an anime magazine with animation director Fumitoshi Oizaki (from the original series, and was also credited on April’s PV), where he describes the series and movie projects but does not specify the series name. This info is per another credible reporter, blogger ryokutya.
Now, here is my translation of Oizaki’s quote as presented in the post: “Details haven’t been made public yet, but I’m working on a series to be broadcasted next spring. Concurrently, a movie scheduled to be released in 2026 has also started production.”
Sadly, the blog post does not specify which anime magazine this was in, so I don’t have the full context for the interview or the question asked. I checked a few table of contents from recently released anime magazines and didn’t see Oizaki’s name in any of them. My hunch is telling me that it’s Newtype, which doesn’t have a digital version, so there’s no feasible way for me to have it that quickly. So yeah, we’re kinda stuck with that quote floating in the void for now.
I can’t go too deep into it so you’ll have to trust me on this one, but I’ve got a little knowledge myself about roughly how and from where anime leaks usually get sourced. It is very possible SugoiLITE does indeed know this information in advance, but it’s also equally possible he only saw this same quote and extrapolated the most likely scenario from it. If it is the latter, I’d say he made a pretty safe bet anyway.
In the quote, what I chose to translate as “concurrently” can also mean “in parallel”, so the interpretation I’m getting is that the spring 2025 series and 2026 movie are connected and being developed in tandem. Ryokutya also guesses that the work in question is Keroro since it does have a project announced. I’ve speculated that the new series will air in either spring or summer next year for a while now (BNP has a mysterious gap in their schedule, with two series airing in January and the Gintama spinoff announced in late 2023 being pushed to October). A movie in 2026 also make a lot of sense, since it’s the 20th anniversary of the first movie. Oizaki does work on other franchises with recent relevancy, such as Kaleido Star which had its 20th anniversary in 2023, and some works in the Shigeru Mizuki-verse like Akuma-kun and last year’s Gegege no Kitaro prequel. But given the specific language in the quote and just Occam’s razoring it down to the fact that we know Keroro is getting things already, I think this double feature is pretty likely what’s going on. Maybe it’s the hopium talking, but it’s certainly not a reach (trust me I’ve made reaches before I was here for the nothingburger that was the anime’s 15th anniversary).
Okay, tl;dr: Given the one available source we have and the credibility of both reporters involved, I think there’s a pretty good chance the anime will really be next spring and there will be a movie in 2026 as people have been corroborating. But the probability that this is an educated guess and the probability that it’s confirmed are pretty much equal at the moment. So get excited! But not too excited. Just like a bit above average excited. You may draw the party popper pull string back about three quarters.
When I first started drafting this post, I was looking forward to saying that we’ll likely find out next month what the truth is, knowing that today the official accounts were going to reveal what this year’s Keroro birthday celebration is. But…they explicitly stated there will not be any new anime info at the event they have planned. Booooooo. Well, here’s what we are getting:

It’s actually not a physical event like they held last year. This time, they’re commemorating Keroro’s birthday with the first episode of a new live radio show called “Kero! to Radio”, featuring Keroro’s voice actress Kumiko Watanabe and Tamama’s voice actress Etsuko Kozakura. It will be broadcasted irregularly on the official Keroro YouTube channel, and next month’s premiere will be here. There will be various different segments of the show which feature messages and questions sent in by listeners. Submissions are sent in via the program’s Onsen page, which also has details about each segment. You do need an account to send messages, but I don’t think a Japanese address is required unless you want to enter the optional raffle. I’ll play around with it later and potentially do a separate post going more into the show’s structure if that’s something people are interested in (obviously you need to know Japanese to really get anything out of this, so I’d like to gauge if it’s worth it first).
While it’s disappointing that there seemingly won’t be any news about the new anime revealed on the legendary birthday, it’s pretty neat to have another VA radio show. It seems like this is sort of following in the footsteps of Keroro and Giroro’s Earth Invasion Radio from back when the original show was still airing, although Keroro Channel also had been doing its own livestreams featuring the BNP/Kadokawa staff running the channel giving updates about the series’s various collabs and stuff (the majority of these episodes were done before the new anime announcement). It’s unclear if this is going to replace those or not; this is quite different structurally. It would be really cool if they rotate the voice actors out each episode and change the segments up a little since the broadcasts are irregular anyway. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
*Exhale* All right, that’s enough yapping for today. I know the wait for more concrete details on the anime has been excruciating, especially now that we have a very tantalizing possibility dangling right before our noses. But if spring really is the airdate, it can’t be too much longer now. We already waited over a decade—what’s a few more months, right? Heh heh... (I’m dying Squirtle.)
#keroro gunso#sgt frog#keroro#tamama#anikero reiwa#boy it’s been a while since I got to use that tag#hopefully the next time won’t be too far away :’)

First Interview (Charlie Cox x teen!reader)
Firsts (A ‘Big Brother Duties’ spinoff)
Title: Chapter 4: First Interview
Type: series; Charlie Cox x teen!reader (platonic!)
Warnings: so much fluff
Spoilers: none?
Notes: this idea came from @mirkwoodshewolf and this video and was sooo fun to write!
As always, love and/or constructive/friendly criticism is welcome and encouraged!
Disclaimers: i do not own daredevil, its characters, or plot but i DO own Emily Murdock
Word count: 1930
“Ok - your first Daredevil interview! Are you excited?” Charlie said, a big smile on his face.
Y/n bounced a little on her toes, twitching her head a bit to the side. “Yeah.”
“Wow,” Charlie said, his head cocking back in surprise. “That didn’t sound underwhelming at all.”
The girl chuckled a bit and shook her head. “I am excited, but I’m also nervous,” she said honestly.
“What are you nervous for? You’ll do great!”
“It’s just that it’s the first big interview I’ve done.”
“They’re literally having us playing kids games,” Charlie deadpanned. “I’d hardly call it a ‘big’ interview.”
Y/n rolled her eyes. “It’s my first interview for a big production like Daredevil which has a big fanbase, and this is Buzzfeed we’re doing it with,” she spelled it out for her co-star.
Charlie threw an arm around her shoulders and shook her a bit. “I get it, I get it. But don’t work it up so much in your head. It’s not live, there’s no audience besides the Buzzfeed crew. If you want to worry about anything, worry about me kicking your butt at these games,” he said.
Y/n scoffed “Oh, you’re on, Cox,” she said, pushing him away and making her way to the studio door.
Charlie laughed and let himself have a triumphant smile. He knew that’d get her.
“So, before we begin: are either of you competitive?”
Y/n chortled a bit, covering her mouth with a fist, making Charlie grin.
“You’re probably looking at the two most competitive people in the entirety of the Daredevil cast and crew,” Charlie explained.
“Ok, perfect. The first game is going to be a staring contest - the first to laugh is out,” the host said, watching the two.
“Ohoho you are so screwed,” Charlie laughed, bending over a bit.
Y/n’s face scrunched up in irritation as she shoved his shoulder, rolling her eyes. “You break more than me on set, Charlie,” she said indignantly.
“I do not!”
“Ok - countdown then start,” the host said, smiling at the banter. “Ready?” Charlie and Y/n assumed their positions facing each other. “3…2…1…go.”
Charlie knew this was a contest he already had in the bag so he started off by letting Y/n think she had a chance. He didn’t make any faces or pull anything - they just stared at each other for a few moments. But eventually, his mischievous spirit got the better of him. He opened his eyes as big as they could get, noting the small smile that immediately grew on Y/n’s face.
She pulled her lips in as she fought a giggle back. She shook her head at Charlie. Not good enough, she silently communicated through her look.
Charlie smirked and stepped closer to her, their noses practically touching. Y/n’s smile broke into a held back grin as she leaned back, trying to avoid him, but Charlie followed her, inevitably making her break into giggles and almost fall over. Charlie grabbed her arm and pulled her into a hug as he laughed, raising a victorious fist in the air.
“Too bad, little sister,” he chuckled, setting her on her feet.
Y/n laughed a bit and shook her head but wore a large smile.
“Alright, next up we have hungry hungry hippos.”
“Ok, I’m ready to redeem myself,” Y/n said, jumping a few times to hype herself up.
Charlie laughed at her behavior and stood as they picked hippos across from one another.
“3…2…1…go!”
The ruckus of plastic beating against plastic filled the room as Y/n and Charlie pushed the levers in pursuit of the little plastic marbles that rolled around the game board.
Charlie, seeing he was starting to become overtaken, stepped closer to Y/n and bumped into her a little bit.
“Cheater!” she screeched, keeping her focus on the game.
When only a few marbles remained, Charlie reached a hand over to squeeze Y/n’s side, eliciting a yelp. Despite this, Y/n was still able to beat him.
“YES!” she yelled, throwing her hands in the air and jumping. “See what happens when you cheat?” she said, playfully pushing at Charlie’s face.
He chuckled and pushed her hands away. “I wasn’t cheating. I was just leveling the playing field.”
“First of all - totally cheating. Second - did you really just quote Monsters University?”
“You better believe I did,” he said, pointing a finger at her. “And, not cheating,” he mumbled after.
The host laughed a bit. “You really weren’t kidding when you said you two were competitive.
“Hey, we’re siblings on screen and off. Seems only fitting,” Charlie said, lifting his arms in a what can I say? kind of way.
“Here we go, you guys, onto our last one. We have a shock bump maze and we’re gonna see who can go farthest. You’ll each have two turns to try.”
“Should we give Charlie an extra turn since he’s old?” Y/n said casually, clasping her hands in front of her trying to look innocent.
“Hey! You watch yourself ‘mini Murdock,’” he said accusingly, mocking Y/n’s character’s nickname.
Y/n simply smirked and watched as Charlie went and quickly failed, making the girl cover her mouth with a hand to keep from laughing.
“Ok, we get two turns, right?” Charlie confirmed, looking at the host.
Y/n rolled her eyes and took his place. She picked up the wand and moved it around the curves and corners, suddenly hyper-aware of Charlie standing right over her shoulder. “Back. Away,” Y/n said, trying to keep her focus on the game.
“I’m not doing anything,” Charlie said, leaning even closer. Y/n elbowed him, making him stumble, and making herself hit the maze.
“Charlie!”
Charlie laughed, a bright grin on his face. “I was just standing there! You were the one to move and mess up.”
“You were breaking my concentration,” she said, then turned to the host. “Can he do that?”
Her question ignored, Charlie took her place for his second turn. Y/n stood at his 10 o’clock and stared wide-eyed at him as he started.
“Don’t. Don’t you dare,” he said, a smile already on his face.
“‘I’m not doing anything’,” Y/n mocked with the worst British accent she could make.
Charlie laughed, then lost control of the wand. He dropped it, slumped his shoulders, and gave Y/n a deadpanned look before running at her and wrapping his arms around her, bowling her out of the camera’s view as they both laughed.
Needless to say, Y/n won that game as well.
“Ok so you two clearly have a good co-star relationship; how did that come about? Has it always been like that?”
“Great question,” Charlie said, taking the lead so Y/n wouldn’t feel pressured. “I feel like it was maybe a little slow to start, with Y/n being newer to the show and the rest of us kind of knowing each other already.”
“I mean, you guys weren’t clique-y though,” Y/n chimed in. “It’s not like you ignored me or anything.”
“No, no, definitely not that.”
“But it was also that I was so nervous around the others, especially Charlie, honestly. I was- yeah, you like that?” Y/n interrupted herself as she caught Charlie chuckling. Shaking her head, she continued, “I was already a big fan of Daredevil with season 1, so getting cast into season 2 was insane. Then getting to meet the person that brought Matt Murdock to life was surreal. But after being awkward when we met, it was easy to fall into a comfortable rapport with him ‘cause he’s a goofball.”
Charlie laughed and clapped his hands together. “I just do what I can to lighten things up.”
Y/n nodded with a big smile. “I feel like once I opened up it was what started the whole sibling thing. The more comfortable I am with someone, the more I mess with them. And it was great ‘cause we would just riff off each other and still do that.”
“Awesome, I love it,” the host said, smiling a bit. “Speaking of that bond off stage, let’s talk about the bond on stage. A lot of people loved the addition of Emily Murdock - what’s your favorite part of that addition?”
“She-”
“I-”
Y/n and Charlie chuckled after starting at the same time. Charlie held out a hand. “Ladies first.”
The girl smiled and looked back at the host. “At first I was nervous about coming into something established but I really like - and I think some fans have pointed this out too, how Emily brings out parts of Matt that we’ve never gotten to see before. You know, even though he has a joking side, especially with Foggy, he’s never had it so much as he does around Emily, and how he has this added role as a caregiver, or guardian I should say. Plus getting to see him open up to familial love because he thought he didn’t have any real family left but bam now he does.”
As she spoke, Charlie found himself smiling proudly as she quickly took charge of answering and all her nerves from before had seemingly vanished. When she was done, the host said his name and he turned to answer. “Well, now I wish I had gone first because she took all the good answers and examples,” he said, making everyone chuckle. “But no, I really do like that as well as getting to see how the other characters adjust to her as well - Karen having another woman around, Foggy having someone else to joke with. I’m also eager to see how things continue to play out with new villains and adversaries as we near season 3.”
“What’s been your favorite scene to film?”
“Aw man, we can only pick one?” Y/n said, earning a few laughs. “Crap…I’m gonna have to generally go with any playful scene between Emily and Matt. ‘Cause again, I just love when Matt opens up and welcomes this more lighthearted side of him.”
“Really?” Charlie said, shocked.
“Why are you surprised?” Y/n laughed a bit.
“I thought you’d resent those since it’s how I found out you were ticklish.”
“Oh my g-d don’t remind me. He holds this over me all the time,” she deadpanned to the host.
“Hey, I take my sibling duties very seriously,” Charlie defended himself.
“What about you, Charlie? What’s your favorite scene?”
“Oh boy, my favorite scene…I do agree with Y/n’s answer but…I’m gonna have to go with Matt’s near-death scene. Aside from being emotional and a crowd-pleaser, it was the first time Y/n really wow-ed us since joining the show. I mean, we knew she was talented coming on, she went through the reading great, but she really was able to add a lot more and so many people on the cast and crew teared up as she, playing Emily, was going through breaking down and begging for Matt to stay with her - I’m honestly getting emotional thinking about it, my gosh. But yeah, I’m gonna have to go with that.”
Y/n gave Charlie an appreciative smile as he talked about that scene and gave him a side hug as the host wrapped up. Afterwards, Charlie walked her back to their room in the building. “I know you were nervous at first, but I’m really proud of you, darling,” he said. “You did great.”
“Thanks, Charlie,” she smiled. “First interview down - about a hundred more to go.”

https://www.tvinsider.com/1147848/fire-country-season-3-jared-padalecki-camden-bode-preview/
“We’re so excited,” executive producer Tia Napolitano tells TV Insider. “The part was written for Jared, very specifically. Jared and Max are buddies, so that helped.”
Ooo so they wrote the part specifically for Jared! I would say this lends more credence to the idea that he got a second holding deal. Would you also say this makes the spinoff a more sure thing? I mean why write a part specifically for someone you want to do a spinoff with if there isn’t at least something in the works?
I also saw a theory that makes sense given this info too - that CBS was planning this cameo before Walker was even cancelled since everyone could see the writing on CW’s walls and they wanted to make sure they wouldn’t lose him. Get things started with the cameo and by the time his spinoff was really underway Walker could have probably even done another season had they been renewed before he’d be needed for his new show. Would Fire Country have already been started being written before Walker was cancelled? It’s been filming for a little bit now and it’s been less than 3 months since the cancellation.
Link. Yup, to me the first press release means that the spinoff for Jared was already in the works. Although at the time I think CBS thought Walker would have a 5th and final season and then they would slide Jared right into Fire Country 3.0 a few months later in fall of 2025 or spring 2026, either for broadcast or for streaming on Paramount+.
So your take jives with my own, Fire Country was renewed for the 3rd season on March 12 and Jared's character's arc was being mapped out before Walker's untimely cancellation two months later in May. April and May are when showrunners read submitted scripts and interview prospective writers. Then writers are hired after Upfronts are done and then it’s straight into the writers room.
This latest article reiterates that Jared's Camden's purpose is to help Bode claim his family legacy, which is a pretty big deal because it sounds like it goes against what everybody else thinks or wants (I've only seen season 1 and was pretty burnt out by the finale. Haha, "burnt out".)
My guess is Max Thieriot will co-write and direct the pilot episode of the third spinoff and it wouldn't surprise me if he has an uncredited writing role for the 3-episode arc since it's part of an important journey arc for his own character.

A partial transcript of Greg and Alex being perfectly normal about each other:
We’re just more comfortable, I suppose, next to each other and in front of those people.
And we- and we know each other. We’ve holidayed, Brittany, and I think that- that changes everything.
Oh, and it was a big holiday.
When two men holiday- Mm. -that’s when, that’s when chemistry is formed.
So what’s the biggest thing either do you have learned about each other, then, through that process? Has there been anything that’s really surprised you?
I’ve learned that Greg operates horizontally for 23 hours of the day.
[wheezing laugh] That- that is true. I mean, it’s not relevant to the show.
Oh oh, to the show? No.
Not allowed to lie down on the show. I’ll tell you what I’ve learned about Alex, and I’ve mentioned it in a couple of interviews because I am intrigued by it, and it took me a few years to realise it. And it is that Alex is- will never say no if you challenge him to do something. And I don’t mean on camera, I mean, you know, at any event you can tell Alex to do something on a dare, and he’ll do it. And I find it endlessly endearing. And I think you know he comes across as an officious nerd, but- H-hello. -beneath that, he’s actually- he’s actually quite a lot of fun, Alex.
[honking laugh] yes. And I’ve learned that Greg is- will come with me on these escapades, and is also fun. But also, and this- he won’t necessarily like me saying this, but he is very funny uh, and, uh- [laugh] I will like you saying that. Well I think that Greg’s got like in the studio, you don’t really like it when people aren’t laughing and this is very useful quality as a comedy TV host.
I don’t- I don’t like it, and it’s a sort of sad cliche of comedians, really, we don’t- we can’t stand silence and a lack of merriment. And so I think the studio records of Taskmaster- I hope if you asked, most people who have been there in the audience would say that they get more than just the show, they get more than just what you- what you see, the edited final show. I think it’s genuinely quite chaotic and immersive in the studio. And I love that.
-
This interviewer takes a bit to warm up, but Greg and Alex are obviously both excellent at putting people at ease- Alex is always so endearingly earnest and I felt like Greg’s determination to make her laugh was palpable. They really both seem so kind and their chemistry was on point.
Also in the podcast: Greg claiming Alex’s currently barking dog doesn’t exist, them being very sweet and appreciative of their fans, Greg and Alex’s M-rated (for very different reasons) Taskmaster spinoff ideas, discussion of their #1 pick for contestant who has been rudely ignoring their calls, what the show has caused them to learn about themselves, and my favourite- Greg turning on his teacher voice at the interviewer at the end.
I am honestly considering putting “I’m not interested in logistics” and “Listen. Don’t make excuses, just deliver” in a button to press when my executive is not functioning. That feels like it would be quite motivating.

Where did the idea for this final emergency come from? And it’s teased at the top of the episode the asteroid won’t be the only part of the emergency in the finale, yes?
The high concept of this episode being the asteroid and the secondary crisis it causes for our characters — our cast and our crew, we’d all found ourselves in this sort of end-of-the-world feeling for us when our show was canceled, in all of our minds, too soon. I think that was infused in where we wanted to end this season, and put all of our characters and our audience through this feeling that the world was just ending too abruptly. And that’s the theme of these last two episodes, in all of the storylines, and also in terms of our actual emergency.
We were looking for an emergency that started with that theme. So then the two ways that the world could end too soon would be, 1) the asteroid, which we thought was the perfect metaphor of what we felt like, and then, 2) the thing that the asteroid causes in the finale, which I won’t fully spoil, if you couldn’t deduce it from the opening of this episode.
After this, do you think it’s going to be pretty hard for “9-1-1” to top this series finale when it comes time for that show to end on ABC one day?
It’s funny, because Tim and I work hand in hand. We both are executive producers on both shows, and so we’re always thinking we have to make each episode, whether it’s “Lone Star” or “9-1-1,” you look at each one and say, “What’s the best thing that we can do for this moment of each particular show?” And we never pull punches. One thing we often have to say is, “Wait, you can’t do that. We just did that on Episode 5″ of this show. You can’t do that kind of emergency or that viral video, because we already did it.” But we always want the best for both shows, the biggest for both shows, and I’m sure that we’ll figure something out for “9-1-1.”
In this episode, we find out TK and Carlos are not being approved to adopt Jonah strictly because of their high-risk jobs. Does that mean that one of them will quit their chosen careers so they can proceed with adopting him?
I once read that, “There is no meaning without sacrifice.” So to make the most meaningful decision of one of their lives, somebody is going to have to make a decision. This decision gets made before the apocalyptic event, in either case, as you’ll see in the finale. But I think you’re onto something.
At the end of the episode, it’s heavily implied Tommy has died due to the effects of her cancer, and she even sees her late husband Charles welcoming her into the afterlife before she appears to pass away. Can you confirm whether she’s dead going into the finale?
I’ve said when we did this whole journey with Tommy’s cancer and with Gina, the actor, as well is we really were going to have to go all the way. And a big part of it was also an opportunity in this episode for Tommy to have it come full circle. And to be to be frank, I took a lot of heat for ending the Trevor and Tommy relationship, but part of why we did it is because I knew this was where we wanted to take her character full circle with this love of her life. And not to get too personal, but when my mom, right before she passed, I was in her hospital room, and she was telling me about how her mom and dad had come to visit her that morning. And it was so vivid for her. She wasn’t saying it as if, “Oh, they’re ghosts.” She was just saying it as if it happened. And then she passed not long after, and it gave her such comfort. And I think that stuck with me.
And it was actually Tim Minear who said we should find a way to get Charles back in the show before it’s too late. And that was a deep anchor of inspiration that we really wanted to get to. And it seemed like this was the way that we could really show what that love of her life meant to her, and also this cancer battle was going to require the ultimate, I don’t want to say price — but that she’d have to go to the ends of herself. So that’s what I’ll say about it.
You get into two big character storylines in this penultimate episode: Mateo being deported and Paul mentoring a nonbinary teen who is endangering themselves in stunts to gain acceptance and popularity. Why did you decide to approach these two topics with so little time left in the show?
Like I was saying before, part of the theme of these last two episodes is that your world could end at any moment. And for Mateo, he’s just at the gardening shop with his girlfriend, and he thinks he’s having an existential moment when she reveals that she doesn’t want to get married, but then actually, no, the real existential threat is because of his tenuous DACA status, even an injustice could cost him everything. And what you’ll see in the finale, I think, is it’s going to lead Mateo to the ultimate place of growth in this series by doing it. So that was part of it, to tell that Mateo story at the end.
And then as far as the Paul story, funny enough, when there were about four episodes left of our show, Brian Smith, who plays Paul, came to me and said, “Look, in the pilot of this show, the way that Owen is able to convince Paul to stay in Austin, is he says, ‘Somewhere out there in Austin is a kid just like you looking who doesn’t feel accepted for who they are, and maybe one day they’ll see a firefighter like you and believe that they matter.'” And he said, “Wouldn’t it be cool if before the show wraps, we made good on that little promise?” And I thought that was a brilliant idea. So Brian is the reason why we did that story, because he brought that up from the pilot and that led to the Jax story.
Owen is just about to tell the 126 about his plans to leave and move back to New York to head up the city’s fire departments when the asteroid alert comes in. Should they all make it through this, is Owen going to proceed with his decision to leave Austin?
Well, first he has to live. I’ll say that. I think what we wanted to show in this episode is that you can make up whatever thing you want to make up in your own mind. “I’ve thought about it. I reflected on it. I’m going to do this,” and then real life has something to say about that. And how do you deal with it when your plans get scuttled, because fortune turns its back on you. So you’ll see him experience that. You know, if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans. That’s what happens for Owen.

Hey Tim, how are you? This may be a bit forward of me, but whenever you decide to make Buddie canon can you consider the following title for the episode: “Do you feel the same? Too scared to say.”?
I just feel Buddie going cannon still may not be in the works for the second half of season eight. It shouldn’t certainly be a big aha reveal either with teaser commercials. It should be gradual and organic. Much like Bucks and Eddie’s relationship. I feel like so much care and respect have been given to them. I think for the most part for all of the characters.
But also there is still so-much work to be done with Eddie delving into his feelings. Show timeline is only three months since Christopher left. I gather much more time won’t have passed when the show returns in March. (😭). I would love to see Eddie work on himself more and repair his relationship with his son. Perhaps get him away from his stupid parents. Who truly are not helping.
I think Eddie still may realize his feelings before Buck though. But maybe Buck will realize before Ed’s. But Buck does not want to be a cliche of falling for his best friend so he won’t act on his feelings? Or maybe Buck in his own time does tell Eddie, but at first Eddie isn’t ready because although he’s finally out he’s scared. I don’t know. They both have abandonment issues, maybe neither of them won’t say anything for sometime?? Their dance is moving away from the point of you fools have always been in-love, to why aren’t you fools acting on your feelings? Buddie is clearly end game. Or should be.
We need scenes with Eddie admitting his attraction to men. Either when he was younger, maybe during his time in the army. Or maybe when he was in high school during the period when he and Shannon broke up. Perhaps the show could explore why Eddie stopped going to church. And his sexual identity was the reason. His faith has no room for homosexuality. But his family and church were still strong influences to stay with a girl. And Shannon was just the perfect person to hide with. Maybe that’s why he ran away at first to the army. He just didn’t know how he got to where he was. Marriage, a baby and being an adult. Whatever that means. They all were so overwhelming. Maybe his parents made him “behave” like the man of the house because they knew for sometime that Eddie was not heterosexual. We need to see his discovery lore and why he hid himself. The shame society and religion put on queer people. But also joy meant being selfish in most religions. To act out on joy brings negative consequences. Eddie isn’t there yet with not punishing himself.
Also been trying to figure out who would want to kidnap Maddie? The kidnapper appears female. Though again not sure. Is it a random distraught person? A serial killer? Someone out for vengeance? Why Maddie? Why does the show have to be all full throttle with drama and also torture us with, well we’re not sure yet how Buddie will go? Why though? After all the eye fucking they have done for the last seven seasons!
Season eight seems all over the place. After watching and rewatching the show a few times I’m having trouble seeing how main story lines and subplots are woven together.
Is it weird I kind of got used to Eddie’s mustache. I know it represents something negative but I like the look on Eddie. He’d actually make a good Magnum PI. Just incase Hollywood wanted a spinoff down the line.
The waiting is torture and it’s only the beginning.

Hi: first time being anon for this wonderful blog.
I have so many mixed feelings abt the season, but I feel like I at least be okay-ish if it weren’t for the very last fucking scene.
Like if they delete it: 7/10
Since they gave the time to shoot and put that scene as the final one of the show in general: 6/10
I think the thing abt the ending that irks me is how pessimistic it is. I was expecting an ending that’s AT LEAST like:
“It didn’t go to plan, it didn’t work, not everyone made it; but we’re gonna keep trying anyways”
Ig that’s wishful thinking considering either the director was jst done bc capitalism got its clutches on him unfortunately, or Netflix (no elaboration needed)
Now while you excuse me: I have fics for this show I will finally write bc of how somewhat disappointed I’m at the ending.
Hope you have a good one despite it all ✌️
hi!! 💖 welcome!!!
i apologize for not being in the best of moods rn, i promise i'm usually nicer than this jkdfvfjjfnv
i agree but also i think they just put in that ending bc of the american spinoff.
to me what sealed the deal was gihun dying and getting buried under that island while the vips and every guard and inho all came it out alive. apparently hdh said that that was the end of the korean games but it didn't feel like it. they can easily relocate and continue the games; i dont know if inho will return but we dont even know where he's going in the end so whatever 🙄
if the director was done with capitalism that's cool but i think this ending goes against the message he's been trying to send in the other seasons.
i know the fics will hit tho!!!

ok HIVE fandom. 2025 is the two year anniversary of vapegate (when mark walden randomly got really into twitch streaming and made penny vaping canon) which itself was the two year anniversary of bloodline’s surprise publication after 8 years old radio silence (which, for all its flaws, also included gems such as otto literally killing himself and canon franz/nigel). either we’re finally going to get the secret raven backstory spinoff he kept hinting at or he’s gonna redownload twitter and word of god retroactively declare lucy to be a comphet lesbian. if we’re lucky we might get both. prayer circle PLEASE.
#h.i.v.e#h.i.v.e.#jokes aside we’re never getting that raven spinoff are we.#sometimes i wish bloodline had never been published#solely so i could cling to the hope of another hive book#but also so i could realistically say things like ‘do you think mark walden is going to write luigi mangione into book 9’#and have the answer be a hard maybe

NYCC 23 Thoughts
I know Caryl fans are more than ready to celebrate. I am too for what it's worth. Believe me, I'm so ready, but I also have concerns that some may not want or need to hear right now. And I get it. Fandom is supposed to provide a space for us to enjoy our favorite shows and characters without real life obstacles bleeding into it. My blog has really pushed those boundaries over the past year and half, so if that's not what you're looking for, feel free to scroll on by or block. If for some reason my rants are of any use to you, however, then here goes another one. Ahem.
Four middle-aged white men walk onto a stage...
…And proceed to make complete asses of themselves.
This is my biggest gripe with TWDU right now. It perpetuates the same tired, limited perspective of the upper class, middle-aged white man in not one, but all of the new spinoffs. TOWL is supposed to be about Rick and Michonne, but it's no secret Gimple favors Rick. Dead City is supposed to be about Negan and Maggie, but the showrunner only goes on and on and on about Negan/JDM in his interviews. S2 of le spinoff is supposed to be about Daryl and Carol, but...well, I'll get to that. My point is, representation offscreen matters because it affects what we see onscreen and which viewers will be drawn to watch. Personally, I didn’t feel drawn to anything during that panel, not because Melissa finally being announced isn’t exciting, but because the people speaking on her behalf always find ways to ruin the moment.
If Gimple wasn't going to talk about his show, I don't understand why he needed to be there. If it was a tradeoff, I would've rather seen Melissa up there and hear what she had to say about her own return and her own character in her own voice. If that still wasn't possible, I fully respect that, but there has to be some other way to deliver news besides constantly relying on male EPs who don't understand what her fans value about her. I worry this is how it's going to feel when I'm watching S2. I want Carol, but not a misrepresentation of her. Greg Nicotero is directing the premiere. Okay...and what about the other two blocks? Any women/POC directors? Anyone who's going to honor Carol the way she deserves instead of treating her like an extension of Daryl's story?
So, yeah. About that title. First of all, “The Book of Carol” is an odd choice in itself. The biblical allusions are annoying because they don't speak to who Carol is as a character. I’m not mad that it implies we’re getting Carol’s POV—quite the opposite—but I don’t like the confusion it’s causing either. Let’s be clear, Carol is not a short chapter in Daryl's story. She is Daryl’s story. Calling Melissa a "series regular" is extremely poor wording, and a sincere fuck you to whoever approved it for the announcement. She is a lead with EP credit and creative input. I am so sick of AMC leaving it up to the fans to debate her worth. Tell us she’s vital to the show, tell us it’s her show, and use clear language. Stop giving her haters more ammo they don't need and stop giving her fans more anxiety they really don't need.
Honestly, it would’ve been easier to accept if S2 was formally called TWD: Book of Carol. The problem is "The Book of Carol" is not the title. It's a subtitle of a (sub)title, and it's bullshit. It feels like a scam, another way to try to convince us we're getting what we want when we're not really getting much of anything. I don’t know if they're worried about false advertising since S2 won't be a Daryl and Carol story—more like a Carol story which, again, I’m not mad about as long as it leads to a reunion and canon by the end. Or maybe they’re stubbornly clinging to the belief that Daryl’s name is what sells despite the atrocious ratings suggesting otherwise. Daryl AND Carol do sell though, so why not lean all the way into it? Why risk turning the show into a laughing stock with obnoxious titles? These characters don’t deserve that.
Another thing that worries me is how it'll be promoted. As "The Book of Carol" or Daryl Dixon S2? Is it going to vary based on who AMC is trying to placate? Is "The Book of Carol" going to be smaller than Daryl Dixon on all the key art? Including Carol in the title was supposed to show that Daryl and Carol are equals. That way, Norman and Melissa would also be treated as equals by viewers and by co-workers. This doesn't look very equal to me...
Why —why 😩— do they need to keep rehashing the filming location's origin story, and by rehashing, I mean lying about it and dragging Melissa and her fans through the mud when all we want to do is move the fuck on? I don't like that Gimple (savagely) threw Norman under the bus, and I don't like that Norman, whatever his intentions were, threw Melissa under the bus. Again, this is why we need to hear Melissa's thoughts on the show, specifically what Carol's (and Caryl's) journey will entail not just plot-wise, but emotionally. It's not fair to put all that responsibility on her to make everybody else look good, and I hope it won't come to that, but the people on that panel yesterday really weren't doing themselves or the show any favors. I was pretty unsettled by the number of times I heard the phrases "I wanted this" or "we wanted that." Has anyone ever taken the time to understand what their audience wants? Or has the show really just been a vanity project all along?
I was wary about Zabel pretty much from the start, but finally getting to hear him talk about Daryl cemented how poorly he understands who he is and more importantly what he means to fans. A man being torn between his former way of life and his new one is nothing groundbreaking. It's actually a pretty standard formula that can fit a lot of conventional heroes, but it does not work for Daryl Dixon. Daryl Dixon is not a conventional hero. Daryl Dixon is the most loyal character in TWD history, and it's been well established his loyalty is to his found family of over a decade--Rick, Michonne, Maggie, and especially Carol. We will never buy that Daryl could be torn between them and people he's only known for weeks/months. Someone who tries to force that should not be showrunning. Period. I am terrified to learn more about how Zabel views Carol because so far, it sounds like he doesn't think much of her at all. If he did, maybe he would've written something more substantial for her in the finale.
We'll see what happens on Sunday. Hopefully they'll release the S2 teaser. Hopefully it’ll provide more reassurance. Hopefully something will. At the moment it just doesn't seem like AMC is capitalizing on Melissa's return as much as they could, and they're definitely not capitalizing on Caryl yet. That being said, and I can’t stress this enough, I do trust Melissa’s judgment. If she chose to come back—and she did—it’s for good reason. The wait is going to be difficult, but next year we’ll have six full episodes of Carol trying to find her soulmate. Nobody is taking that away from us no matter how many times the men put their foot in their mouths.

Could they really announce season 3 at TUDUM for you? Anyway I'm so happy for Lady Gaga <3 I've been a little monster for at least 17 years
I don’t think Jenna Ortega or anyone at Netflix knows I exist, so I don’t think any announcement is FOR ME. lol
I have the same information as you all with access to the internet. You actually have more information since I do not have an IG/Twitter/Tiktok/anything outside of Tumblr.
Could they announce S3 at Tudum? Sure. Do I know for sure? Nope, and I’ve never said either way that S3 was for sure or not for sure.
I don't know why the internet is allergic to simply admitting they don't have enough information to make an informed opinion, but I do not suffer from that.
Do I speculate that Jenna has a lot of reasons to want S2 to be her last? Yes, and I’ve never been shy about that and I cite my sources for why I believe that. See generally My Tumblr. lol
But I also know that everyone has a price AND her last several movies have been critical and financial flops.
Different financial situations and worry about the future of one’s career can change anyone’s mind, and Wednesday could be a safe paycheque.
Honestly with Jenna’s slew of flops, I think she has less leverage in negotiations and Netflix could offer her less than what she could have expected a few months ago before the flops.
From my own casual observations, I think expensive fantasy shows like Wednesday have a higher hurdle to pass in order to get greenlit.
Shows like The Diplomat and My Life with the Walter Boys have both been renewed before the premier of their next season. So, we know Netflix is capable of approving future seasons without the numbers for their upcoming seasons.
I can’t help but notice that neither of these shows have a fantasy element that have more expensive costumes, set design, or the potential use of CGI. From an anecdotal standpoint, I feel like fantasy shows get the ax in higher numbers than their regular fiction counterparts.
The exception is Bridgerton, which uses all of the above (many of the facades of the great estates are enhanced with CGI), and they’ve been renewed for seasons 5 and 6.
The question is, do we think Wednesday is pulling in Bridgerton numbers? It’s hard for me to tell because Netflix is notoriously not transparent when it comes to their numbers.
Personally, I don’t think it is. It’s a kid’s show that mostly appealed to Millennials and teens who liked supernatural dramas/comedies. I feel like a lot of the Millennials have fallen off, and a lot of the remaining fans are loud, mean spirited, and regularly sexually harass the two female leads.
Further, Bridgerton went through 3 seasons and a spinoff with consistently high numbers before getting the advanced renewal treatment. Wednesday literally has only had one season to prove itself.
We’re also seeing that Jenna just isn’t the box office draw a lot were hoping for.
I’m leaning towards Netflix will wait for S2 numbers before they make a decision for S3.
I’m generally cautious by nature, so I think Wednesday needs to prove it still has the heat from S1, and that it has conquered the “Sophomore Slump.”
August and September are not far away, I would simply wait it out and get the numbers before I commit to anything.
Another possible announcement they are teasing in the promo for Tudum, the Fester season they had mentioned in 2023. I have heard fuckall about official announcements for this spinoff.
Perhaps S2 will be Jenna Ortega’s/original cast’s last season, but they will introduce a new set of students to expand the Wednesday/Addams family Tim Burton universe. (Pure speculation on my part, I have no reason to believe this otherwise lol)
We also haven’t heard a lot about Lady Gaga’s cameo, so perhaps the surprise is her.

juli!!!!! now that the like us series is over (thinking about when we'll ever get another hale pov 😭) what have you thought? and what are you most hoping for with the cobalt empire?
hahaha what a loaded question! i’m also sad about the hales hence me rereading dlu already lol 💚 but also on patreon kbr have started posting extras in kinney’s pov which i am so grateful for. great way to keep us connected to the younger generation / give a sneak peek and i feel lucky it was with my favorite girl!! i am relying on this content to hold me over lol (plus next we have XANDER’S BOOK!!!!! to look forward to. which i almost expect to get sooner than we might think 👀)
my thoughts on the series as a whole are kind of hard to articulate but i’ll try? i think the series started really strong and sort of devolved from there. i think going back to dlu put a lot into perspective for me because right from the beginning they did a lot of great set up and left threads that were still being picked up in luna’s books so i applaud them for their forward thinking and planning in that regard (i know that either krista or becca - i don’t know who is who lmao - is super dedicated to going back and rereading all the early books and making sure everything is still flowing and connecting and i must say that’s very apparent looking at the big picture. a job well done for sure). i think all of moffy and farrow’s books, definitely oscar and jack’s book, and i’ll even say jane and thatcher’s books, function well on their own. moffy and jane’s books also do a nice job in contributing to the series as a whole
but obviously there was also a lot left to be desired and i think that despite whatever flaws the earlier books contain, things REALLY started going off the rails with sulli’s books (my poor girl 💔). while the overall series arc ended up functioning pretty well imo, as the series progressed the plots of each individual book just kept getting wishy washier. i wish kbr would just realize that romantic and interpersonal development is enough to drive a story without needing a bunch of other distracting side plots that actually take away from the main focus of the book and divert readers’ attention from what the twins are best at writing. like the romantic plots should be enough to sustain a book IF THEY ARE DONE WELL, and kbr are capable of doing them well, but they got so caught up in trying to include other things that they couldn’t give the real focus of the stories the attention they really deserved if that makes sense. i’m at least glad they don’t rely so much on the third act break up or use miscommunication between couples to drive the books
i also think that now that they’ve taken such care to establish quinn and frog as a budding romance, oscar and jack’s book should have been its own thing outside the series and maybe started a different (cobalt-empire-esque?) spinoff for all these side characters that they’ve grown attached to and insist on making books for. charming like us is a great book on its own but doesn’t really fit in with the rest of the series (is the original / sub-heading / tagline of the like us series not “billionaires and bodyguards”????)
as for the cobalt empire…..i’m trying to go in with a very open mindset. ben’s book was honestly the last one i was expecting but definitely the most ideal scenario for me!!! im really hoping these books won’t be super dragged out and bogged down by extraneous and unnecessary side plots and characters (one book per brother honestly sounds ideal but i know that’s a fool’s hope). obviously a really big thing i’m looking forward to reading about is the evolution of ben and charlie’s relationship and also seeing ben grow closer to all his brothers and finally finding a place within his family 💙 this is why ben’s pov is great to start with because we’re going to see him thrown back into this environment with all his brothers and this time they’re all older and there’s no parents. i know that apartment is WILD in a way that ben cobalt simply is not (or is he? 😏)
i’m also now conflicted about whether the ben and xander resolution should be expected in burn bright or if we have to wait until xander’s books (BUT IT BETTER NOT HAPPEN IN BETWEEN!). i made a post about this at some point but i also think if kbr can’t keep it down to one book per brother, and overlapping style similar to addicted / calloway might work really well as opposed to the clunkier progression of the like us series.
i CANNOT WAITTTTT to finally get into charlie’s head also. that’s going to be a wild ride. i can’t wait to get a deeper look into charlie and beckett’s interactions and for the two of them and their love interests to be the best friend group ever. the cobalt boys ALL have really really really good tropes setting the scene for them (expect for ben who is the only one we’re kind of in the dark about right now) and im excited to see that unfold. also!! as much as i love the hales, its going to be great seeing rose and connor more again! it’s not an aspect i’ve spent too much time thinking about yet but they have such unique and different relationships with each of their kids so im excited to see each of their interactions. ALSO!!! FREEDOM FROM BODYGUARDS GOD BLESSSSSS 🙏 none of the cobalts are super close to their bodyguards to my understanding so after the like us series this will feel like a breath of fresh air
and the last thing i must say - what i’m really hoping for is that harriet isn’t going to play a big role…..i know this is clowning since she JUST moved to new york and the same college as everyone and is lowkey the only person that’s been introduced as a possibility for ben’s love interest but god that idea just bores me lol. especially when all the other brothers already have such compelling love interests and book premises. but alas i am probably wrong and will need to get over my unreasonable dislike of this poor girl who never did anything but be luna’s friend. i think my ideal way for the harriet situation to play out would actually be if she started dating xander but then they broke up before his real books start because i think it would be nice for some of these kids to get some real dating experience before ending up with the love of their lives forever!!
anyway. sorry as always that i’m incapable of being normal about kbr books and can’t just answer with “the series had its ups and downs but im excited for what’s next!!!” but that functions as a great tldr i guess lol

The more I think about it, the more I realize that we’re never going to have an animated show like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic again. And I’m not talking about the show’s quality, I’m talking about the fact that it was a series with nine seasons, twenty-six episodes in eight of them, a canonical movie in theaters, a spinoff series that inspired more cartoon crushes, and more than enough time to develop a lot of characters in an ever growing cast. All while staying in this relatively stagnant level of quality that made it fun to watch weekly.
There are DOZENS of show runners who would kill for series like that, and likely won’t in a long time. The only other show that manages that was Bob’s Burgers, which is still going and is still good, but also came out around the same time as Friendship is Magic. There is rarely a show nowadays that gets past three seasons or even TWO, with show runners being lucky enough to have more than eight episodes a season. And that’s because studios and networks, for one reason or another, don’t want longer shows anymore. Maybe it’s because people are so used to the binge format of streaming or studios don’t want invest too much in a show if it’s not an instant hit. Either way, longer shows don’t feel like a thing anymore, with Friendship is Magic being a once in a blue moon type of success.
Now, I’m not saying EVERY series should be as long as it. If anything, Family Guy proved that sometimes a show should just stay dead. And another reason why Friendship is Magic lasted for so long is because it was based on a popular franchise to sell toys to girls. The more people bought, the more seasons they got and all that. But much like how every show doesn’t need to be too long, not every show should match that standard. A show runner should feel like that they have enough time to tell their stories or develop their characters. Not feel like they have to rush everything out of fear of a sudden cancellation.

While we’re on the subject of Billionaire superheroes, what are your top ten favorite Batman stories? And by that I mean your favorite Batman stories in which the character of Batman himself is the focus rather than one of his villains. I recall you stating that you usually gravitate more towards Batman’s rogues than to Batman himself, but that a few writers have managed to get you to do the opposite. I’m curious to know which stories those are!
So I think we should re-establish that while I have read some superhero comic books and consumed some superhero media, I am what comic book shop geeks would refer to as a "fake comic fan." I have barely scraped the surface of superhero comics, and even then mostly from only a few specific angles. You are asking a very filthy casual this question - you are not going to get any mind blowing answers. I haven't really felt inspired to dig into his comics very much beyond some surface level "top ten Batman stories for beginners" list stuff.
For Batman books, I like The Long Halloween, Dark Victory, and the vampire elseworlds stuff a lot, which I'm pretty sure made the people who follow me that are actual Batman fans groan in dismay and disappointment. I've been told the first two are overrated and most people seem to dislike the vampire Batman stories. I love them, though, they're schlocky and fun. I like the Long Halloween/Dark Victory duology for having fun (if imperfect/slightly contrived) mysteries, emotional origins for Two-Face and Robin, and some really gorgeous art even if some of the design choices are a bit weird.
(If we include Batman spinoffs, I could cheat and say the Amanda Conner Harley Quinn run is my all-time favorite Batman comic, but I feel we all know that's not what your question was looking for.)
Beyond comics, I like Batman the Animated Series - though if I sat down and did a "top ten episodes" list it would almost certainly be ones that focused on the villains over Batman himself. I like the 60's Batman movie with Adam West - it's Batman focused and Batman himself is very enjoyable in it. I like the Lego Batman movie too, and Holy Musical B@tman.
Honestly, I guess what makes Batman work for me is either when he's more a supporting character/part of the ensemble in a story rather than the central focus, and/or when he's played primarily for humor. The sillier Batman is, the more I enjoy focusing on him, and the more serious he is, the more I prefer him to be, you know, just one of several characters we're focused on - either splitting the "main character" role with the villain of the week or, like, the Justice League.

I dont even know what Sarah is doing anymore. It's been like 4 years. Probably wont even get a book until 2026. Not to mention the fandom has divided in half. (Not saying its her fault) But knowing that people are making huge theories and everything and waiting this long.... many people are up for huge disappointment. It's sad. I'm lowkey just going to not care about these books anymore.
Idek what Mass is doing either. To think if she had played this right, we would have already gotten the elriel book and all collectively as a fandom could enjoy the anticipation for the last spinoff. Instead we’re still arguing about a book that has a 50% chance of being a let down.
Look, as long as we get the announcement this year for either the couple or whosever book is next, the wait for the actual book release will become 10x easier and more enjoyable. All we need is the announcement that too just the confirmation on who is the next MC.
If its Azriel then thats a gwynriel book.
If its Elain then thats an elriel book as Lucien having the next pov makes 0 logical sense.
That will end majority of the shipwar even antis know this. Whoever is still arguing after the confirmation is just in denial which you can ignore.
Either Sjm’s writing is that good and conplex leading to constant discussions on her characters/ships or its due to badt written inconsistencies causing people to divide so much. As years have gone by, the fandom has become so negative and terrible towards each other and Sjm hasn’t really done anything to unite the fandom as one again, maybe its because she doesn’t care or simply unaware of whats going on, I lean towards the latter.
Whatever Mass does will cause disappointment but honestly some people have set themselves up for being let down. Mass’s books and forshadowings are so simple yet many people over exaggerate them to create such a complex plot which isn’t Sarah’s style and honestly? Most of these theories you see around are simply for engagement. The wilder the theory -> more engagement as Acotar had a very large fanbase. I can guarantee you, most crack theorists know their theories have no chance of happening…I mean look at hofas. How many wild theories were there and what actually ended up happening. Mass went w the simple route.
Yh, I think focusing on other book series and fandoms is for the best. We aren’t getting an announcement anytime soon. Maybe March leading upto May we may get some little hints. For me, I like staying in my little bubble. I post elriel content and don’t interact w any other part of the fandom. Its more peaceful as im not constantly hearing bs that gives me a headache.
#That and now that ive finished w my exams ima start reading other series#Rina Kent here I come#But currently rereading the sweetest oblivion cause thats just nostalgic#elriel#Butt I cant wait to post elriel content again on insta and twitter…and tiktok if im not shadowbanned and hear ofc

Predictions for Grey’s tonight/this season:
I think Kwan feels the same as Millin, but I think he’s not going to say it. If he TRIES to, I think they’ll be interrupted, and it’ll lead to conflict for the two of them all season
Helmika are going to sneak around and there will be several funny scenes that come from it
Lumone is going to have hella miscommunication all season but officially get together by the end of S20 or S21
Jolink might fight this season, but I don’t think they’re gonna break up. I think their build up era is over and they won’t break up until after they’re married and get a divorce. I love them but also it’s Grey’s and divorce is inevitable for most couples
When Nico comes back this season, Schmidt is either 1) not going to get back together with him or 2) going to wait a while before he’s willing to try again (as he should)
I think Capshaw will only be back for one ep, but I think we’re going to get a calzona endgame confirmation. I also think they might write something in about them adopting more babies
Amelia is definitely getting together or at least sleeping with that new peds surgeon (at least I think she’s a peds surgeon) from the trailer
I still think Catherine is going to die at some point this season, especially with Richard already on the edge. (And I stand by the delusion that this will lead in to a japril spinoff)
I think that we’ll have more returning guest stars than Arizona and Nico this season, but I think they’ll be unannounced (I think it’s POSSIBLE we might see a Yang surprise appearance because of Teddy)
I don’t think Teddy will die, but I think that if Yang shows up (which is a big if) she might go to Switzerland
I think that when they finally make Meredith and Nick official, she’ll be gone for good except a few guest star episodes
