Echo during most of his time with the Bad Batch: tucking kids in, telling bedtime stories, always carrying healthy snacks, in bed by nine, putting people in time-out, telling “kids” to behave, tending to sick “kids”, being the only one to put their foot down and shut down any shenanigans, generally being a mom and an absolute angel (of course this is when he isn’t being the absolute badass that he is and always had been since let’s not forget that he’s an ARC Trooper)

Delivery Person: Oh, hey kiddo, is one of your parents in?

Tim: Haha, no (he reaches for the package) do I need to sign for it?

Delivery Person: Oh- woah! (they hold the package away from him) Sorry, no can do, this needs to be collected by an adult. Are your parents in, or should I come back tomorrow?

(A cold gust of wind blows as Tim tries not to be mad about the all-too-common situation)

Tim, sighing: Right. I get it. Hold on.

(Tim goes to the kitchen to get his ID from his bag, but in his irritation, seems to be having trouble finding it in there)

Delivery person (out of sight): Oh! Hey, sorry for the trouble. And you're that kid's... parent?

Damian: Tim? No, I'm his brother.

Delivery Person: Oh, cool, that's fine too, could you sign for this?

Damian: Sure?

It's said that Hollytuft is a spitting image of Hollyleaf. (Of course she is, they're both black cats lmao) When it comes to discussions about Hollytuft, it usually becomes "she should've gotten Nightheart's arc," and sure, I agree, but I don't want to just give her his arc. Sharing is caring, and caring means paralleling each other :D

Nightheart was originally Flamekit and then Flamepaw, named after Firestar, and he would've been Flameheart, but he rejected his name at his warrior ceremony, and so Bramblestar named him Nightheart as a compromise.

What if Hollytuft did the opposite? Cats keep mistaking her for Hollyleaf, and she keeps correcting them over and over, but it drives her to a breaking point, and so at her warrior ceremony, instead of being named Hollytuft, she wants to be named Hollyleaf. Kind of like a silent mental breakdown.

"What's the point of having my own identity if I'm just confused for someone else" thing.

And I say parallels because Nightheart and Hollytuft can be really similar here. Hollytuft, canonically, doesn't seem to be the easiest cat to get along with, and she knows it; Nightheart, canonically, isn't the easiest cat to get along with, but he doesn't know it.

They can both have strained relationships with their parents for naming them after dead cats.

They can both be driven up walls for constantly having pressure and being mistaken for something/someone else being put on them.

And it can all culminate in them rejecting their original names and wanting something else, but where Flameheart becomes Nightheart, Hollytuft becomes Hollyleaf II.

Remember in "Entombed" when Phee tells the Batch they owe her when she puts the Heart of the Mountain back? Maybe the "Sanctuary" plot is her collecting on that, especially to get Hunter on board (unless that's what the mission in the "Pabu" intro was???).

According to the synopsis, Hunter is resistant even though the rest of the Batch is down for it. Which means Hunter would be having an absolute crisis like, um guys, are you all forgetting that other mission with Phee with the giant robot weapon, and everyone else is like, no this will be fine just trust her:

"Last time we did this, it didn't exactly end well."

"Oh, don't be dramatic. It ended just fine."

"Our ship almost got destroyed."

"But it didn't," Phee points in the direction of the Marauder, conspicuous as ever and very much intact.

Also — why is he the only one shown inside a building? He's not the only one being high above ground: Shikaba and Taira are standing on a rooftop, but why did Wakui decide to isolate him like that? Why does Wakui keep making him stand out by refusing to bring attention on him?

i do! i simply think it's amusing that in the single fight that they had, they managed to KO each other at the same time and i choose to believe it pisses them both off to this day
