Characters in order: Silvermist, Rani, Iridessa, Fira, Prilla, Fawn, Vidia, Beck, Rosetta, Lily, Bess, Dulcie.

I watched a Fairies retrospective on Youtube a few months ago and had a vision

Those movies are still one of my favourites to this day, they have such a cosy atmosphere

and I never really understood why? My brain just said “we like that one ✨🫵” and stuck with it 💥

Wanted to Make My Own Version of That One “Girls” Character Post, So Here Y’all Go!

Sometimes, they like both.

Some girls don’t dress in a feminine way.

And some do.

Some girls are trans girls, and that’s fine.

Some girls cover up.

And some girls don’t.

Some girls are bigger.

Some girls are smaller.

Some girls are smart.

And some girls aren’t.

Some girls are nice.

And some girls are mean.

But no matter what, all girls are people.

And we should all be treated like it!

the fact that something is most definitely coming for the tinkerbell/disney fairies franchise is making me go insane

you can’t tell me that disney just decided to suddenly release:

• 8 of the original disney fairies books from the early 2000’s in 4 part collections with cover art of their old designs

• a tinkerbell ride at disneyland tokyo

• a novel for 8-12 year olds featuring tinks ponytail from the original books

• a young adult novel about the lore of secret of the wings

• a glow in the dark loungefly bag with beautiful art of the movies main girls (minus vidia) that isn’t just tinkerbell themed, but specifically disney fairies themed

i will bet money on there being something big coming, whether that’s a new movie or something to do with the novels cast. i find it so interesting that they’re republishing the old books and making a new one with tinks old ponytail design on the cover. it would be such a weird move if that’s something they don’t expand on, in my opinion. i cannot tell you want i could give for a spin off 2d show based on the books where it’s a different timeline. prilla would be so fun as an animated character with her energy and whimsy, FEED US DISNEY

Next up in my Pixie Hollow redraw: Iridessa!!! I wanted to play around with the sunflower imagery she has and decided on this petal edged dress and top combo! The sunflower seed belt is my favourite part tbh

Sometimes it's nice to reconnect to your childhood.

I wonder if the fairies get their accents based on the region that babies’ laugh they are born from, are based in.

For ex: Rosetta is clearly a southern bell so the baby’s laugh she was born from must be somewhere in the south

I wonder if anybody else had this thought/theory, or if this is already a known fact. But if my theory is already true then I think that’s so cool.
