The Witcher Iv only gone through the Witcher 3 so I'm not familiar with the previous games, so I will do research to write for some of the more popular characters like Vernon Roche and Iorveth

This is based on the game version the characters not the tv show. I still like the show I just think there should be more content for the game characters ( though I might make an exemption for Jaskier I love him too much to exclude)

Philippa straight up lying to Dijkstra about all of her motives vrs Dijkstra slowly figuring out "hey! Wait! She's using me and everyone else around me and killed our King!" vrs the irreparable damage done to Radovid.

Like i joke that Phil and Sigi are Radovid's divorced parents a lot but like... The events and everything around Dijkstra's leaving Redania and such is a very similar situation to a divorce where one parent gets full custody and the other isn't allowed to see them again. Except Phil was the one who got custody and the objectively worse parent.

Radovid absolutely 100% felt abandoned by Dijkstra. He was absolutely one of the few stabilising forces in his life and Philippa, controlling as she is, got rid of as much of that support system as she could. He doesn't know why Dijkstra left, realistically speaking Philippa played into the "he abandoned you" narrative.

I've said it before I'll say it again and I'll keep saying it til I'm dead. Reason of State would not happen like that! He would not fucking say that! Dude why the fuck do you think Dijkstra came back from Zerrikania? He didn't NEED to be in Novigrad to be a criminal boss and shit. He could've done that in Zerrikania. And Dandelion and Dijkstra's Gwent journey implies he gets back around 1270 which! Hm! When does Radovid become King? Oh right! 1270! You're going to tell me he came back and waited two years to kill a kid who he mentored and cared about? I'm going to have to press X to doubt on that buddy.

The only person in Reason of State acting in character is Philippa who's lost use of Radovid and after Loc Muinne has an even more personal vendetta against him and 100% would not feel any remorse killing a teenager.

Dijkstra would sooner kill Philippa than let her kill Radovid. I DON'T KNOW WHY VERNON IS THERE??? LIKE??? ANAÏS IS YOUR BEST HOPE FOR TEMERIA AND UR OUT HERE LIKE "nope gotta kill Radovid the only stabilising force for the Northern Realms because the well known traitorous bastard Emhyr says we could be the next toussaint" HE'S NOT THAT STUPID. LIKE DID VERNON GET A TASTE FOR ROYAL BLOOD AND JUST GO OFF THE RAILS DUDE WHAT THE HELL IT REALLY DOESN'T ALIGN WITH HIS GOALS FOR TEMERIA. Geralt would not get involved. Especially not with Ciri and the Wild Hunt and everything. But like just generally Would Not get involved. But Reason of State is literally there because Emhyr does Not win the war if Radovid lives which is like objectively hilarious in such a pathetic way. I am a supporter of Emhyr being ides of march-ed by Nilfgaardians you can fucking quote me on that. They don't even want to fight this fucking war!!! But if Emhyr doesn't win the war no empress ciri which is like such a stupid ending to begin with I will not get started on it because this post is already so long.

I think honestly it'd make more sense if Reason of State's questline was Dijkstra and Roche double crossing Philippa (or Philippa and Iorveth who should've been there I'm so mad about that and he has ample reason to want to kill more dh'oine kings) and the moral choice still falling on Do You Kill Radovid? Because it fits with the themes of The Witcher 3 better. And it makes more sense. And they can still have their stupid empress ciri ending.

Currently Watching:

I don't watch too many TV shows but I needed to see season 2 of Loki (feeling very meh compared to season 1 but could honestly be just because I really don't like Marvel that much anymore). Also just finished season 2 of Our Flag Means Death (really no notes, very camp, very gay, very pirates). My partner and I were watching Star Trek: Enterprise but my attention span just doesn't want to keep up with it.

Currently Reading:

I'm waiting to get an iPad but I started reading The Witcher. I am about halfway through and I am enjoying it a lot, although it really makes the Netflix series look pretty meh. There are so many details they missed in the first season that would have made it work better. I also tried to read Stephen King's Fairy Tale earlier this year and I couldn't even get halfway because the pacing is slug slow. When I get my iPad I want to read Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and In the Lives of Puppets by TJ Klume.

Currently Playing:

I've paused my BG3 playthrough(s) to curve some burnout but will probably return to it soon. My friends and I have been playing Risk of Rain 2 and Lethal Company in the evenings, and I've been grinding the event in ESO. I've been getting the itch to play Red Dead Redemption 2 but I would have to uninstall Mass Effect, which I'm not fully ready to commit to yet as I still have 2 or 3 playthroughs of that I would like to finish. Plus, mods :(

1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 6?

Yes, I remember the exact moment. It was in Iorveth’s path in the witcher 2, when you visit Kaedweni camp and Roche saves Geralt. 

2. Have you ever read a fanfic about 2?

Yes. It was what introduced me to this ship and it was one of the best fanfics I have ever read. (I’m not sure if I can say the name here so I won’t. Feel free to ask me for recommendation tho)

3. Has a picture of 4 ever been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr screen saver?

Nope

4. If 7 were to suddenly break up today, what would your reaction be?

Well, I think they had already kind of broken up in The Witcher 1 so in my personal “headcanon” everything that involves them after it is bittersweet.

5. Why is 1 so important?

They like and accept themselves despite their pasts, yet they don’t have redemption arcs. Also I feel like this ship offers them peace after what they had to live through. 

6. Is 9 a funny ship or a serious ship?

I take this ship seriously, but when you overlook some unfortunate events they have potential to be kinda the comedic duo

7. Out of all the ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry?

Roche x Iorveth in my opinion.

8. Out of all your ships listed, which ship has the strongest bond?

I think... Iorveth x Cedric. They have common past and the feelings and longing stayed even after Cedrik left scoia'tael.

9. How many times have your read/watched 10’s fandom

I wish I could read more fanfics. Sadly there isn’t much content about these lovely elves.

10. Which ship has lasted the longest?

I had a hard time choosing this answer. Éibhear x Elihal I think.

11. How many times, if ever, has 6 broken up?

I wouldn’t say they had broken up. But they definitely had some downs and perhaps pauses.

12. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 2 or 8?

Oh wow neither. If I have to choose, well... Both Emhyr and Morvran don’t really seem like fighters to me but they are scheming and have plans . Dandelion and Priscilla aren’t much of a fighter as well but someone always saves Dandelion and they have luck. I can’t decide. 

13. Did 7 ever have to hide their relationship for any reason?

Siegfried has to hide it because of his wows and beliefs.

14. Is 4 still together?

Well they aren’t exactly confirmed canon so they have probably never been together, but even if they were, they parted ways.

15. Is 10 canon?

No. It could be tho

16. If all 10 ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would win?

Lambert x Aiden. Just cause they are both witchers and there isn’t anyone too OP. But some other ships would definitely put up a good fight.

17. Has anybody ever tried to sabotage 5’s ship?

Belong (geralt/jaskier, mature, complete, 90k, modern au) Modern multi-perspective Geraskier AU with: Good Dad Geralt, Teen Ciri, and Teacher Jaskier. Set in and around Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Subtle crossover in X-Men verse. Geralt and Ciri are mutants. Jaskier is human. Geralt is Ciri’s legal guardian. He works as a Whole Foods butcher in Blaviken to make ends meet. Ciri is starting high school this year, but secretly being a mutant makes it difficult to fit in. Jaskier is a stylish, uninspired music teacher at Ciri’s high school. He hasn’t had much luck with love, until he meets Geralt.

Connection (eskel/geralt, teen, complete, 4k, modern au) Geralt is recovering slowly. For every step forward, he seems to take several steps back. His life improves when he’s given a service dog, but the idea of facing other people—real people, with judgments and options, who see him only as a burden—is almost more than he can handle. A photo. “Fuck,” Lambert hissed under his breath. Dandelion sent him a picture of this other “friend,” and fuck seemed like the only correct response. Honey tanned skin, brown hair long enough to hang in front of sparkling green eyes, and arms as big as tree limbs had Lambert shifting in his seat, trying to adjust. But those eyes, those eyes had him caught. Deep and soulful, Lambert could tell there was a mind under that pretty face. He had scars on his cheek too, a little more obvious than Lambert's, which is probably why the picture was taken from that side, he had his supposedly bad side turned away... But there was no bad side to this man, not that Lambert could see. Another message came in. His name is Eskel.

okay i am so torn between what to ship

in the series you can ship yennskier, yen x geralt and geraskier (for now ar least)

in the books you can ship geraskier and yen x geralt but shipping yennskier is a stretch

in the games you can ship geralt with every single secondary character (yen x geralt or triss x geralt are canon but you can ship him with iorveth, roche, emhyr etc.) but shipping geraskier is a stretch. you can ship priscilla x dandelion but yennskier is definitelt unexistent (they don't even come near each other)

what the fuck am i supposed to ship? yen x geralt only? no thanks, i am a multishipper.
