INTP Struggle #12 Emotions?

We, INTPs, sure feel emotions, but we just... see them differently, they arent foreign or strange to us, we just act differently in those situations and people just dont get it. They take our actions in a different way or, in worse scenario, in a bad way. They misunderstood us every time we do something emotionally because our ways of showing emotions are sometimes different.

I have no idea why I just wrote that.

INTP

I’m proud being an INTP. I like the things I do and reading posts about my personality type makes me happy, whether it’s true or an exaggeration.  But.. interacting with them online has been hell. The first time I joined a group  with INTPs. The first thing they say to me is that they didn’t care about what I have to say. I didn’t know them nor did did I interact with them previously....so I wondered if they were 5 or had a vendetta against someone with the same MBTI type as them. The second time (and the last) was when I asked a question on reddit. One of them said I asked on the wrong forum without trying to understand what was I really trying to ask while one of them said it’s not “INTP” thing to care about relationships (though my post was about friendships) and they followed it up with “don’t follow MBTI so religiously” ...I wanted to say those two phrases don’t connect. Even after I said if they didn’t have anything helpful to say don’t reply anything. BUT....of course they did. It’s the Internet. Sigh.

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that some stereotypes aren’t true. Because there will always be people out there who will do anything to follow the status quo even if it hurts others. I don’t care if that happens if it’s harmless though. Now I’m not sure if I wanted INTP friends or just any friend in general. This is making me sad
