Various shitter-piloted Khanjali's caused me a fair bit of pain at times. It's quite frustrating to fight one of these on foot, but all the more satisfying to kill one by smacking a Nightshark with five sticky bombs on the grille into it.
One of my earliest GTA memories is getting basically spawntrapped by two sweatlords in an APC, together with a random whose Organization I was in. Many years and experience later, I bought one, only to never really use it.
The IPUC is one of those workhorse vehicles that have carried me and sometimes several more people through countless missions, sales and fights. I'm noticing a distinct lack of turreted vehicles in my PS5 collection, so I might have to get one.
Ah the Dune FAV, in a certain context one of the most universally despised vehicles in the game. And it's all due to Rockstar's shoddy game design of one sell mission, of course. 15 minutes for 4 times 5 drops that are each a cross-country trip away? For real though. But it seems like I may have underestimated the little Dune FAV. I'm not sure how useful a drive-by Atomizer could be, but for Literally Free, it's worth the shot.
What could I even add to what has been said about the Nightshark. It was always a good armored vehicle, but it really came into its own when the mosquitoes appeared. For some reason, throwables hurled out of a moving car get launched like your arm is an artillery mortar. This rather quickly led to a MkII-fighting strategy popularized by a certain youtuber, which I like to affectionately call The Big Yeet. Many a time I've pressed R1 followed by left on the d-pad, and seen a memebike and its rider explode into smithereens. Until the day GTA 5 servers die, the spot next to Franklin's car in my Agency will be reserved for the magnificent rocket-ignoring mosquito-deleting armored SUV.
The Chernobog was a really cool idea that was executed poorly. Having a dedicated missile carrier to counter aircraft was a good addition in theory, but it was armored with wet paper towels and took ages to set up while having a unique radar icon that magnetized bandits right to you. It wasn’t until a few years later when the localized off-radar ability was introduced that it became even remotely viable, and even then, nine times out of ten it was better to just use the explosive sniper anyway. None of us ever bothered using the Chernobog in combat and we instead spent our time Cargobobbing cars under its missile turret and using it as an atom smasher.
You knew you’d won a shitter stomp when they pulled out the ol’ ragetank. The TM-01 Khanjali was the surest sign that its owner was angry at something, be it getting dogpiled by a crew or getting ventilated by laggy overpowered NPCs. The real fun of the Khanjali was in wedging telephone poles between its chassis and turret and spinning really fast to make the physics engine freak out and launch the tank across the map.
When I saw there was a car being added with a controllable gun turret on the roof, my first impulse was to paint it up like the car from Super Spy Hunter for the NES. The Weaponized Tampa made heists and PvE missions downright hilarious, being able to scream around corners with guns blazing. Who cared if it could hardly hit the broad side of a barn?
In yet another example of the developers being horribly out of touch with their fanbase, the Caracara was added to get an F-150 Raptor into the game, but specifically as a knockoff of a 6x6 conversion of one. And then they added a gun turret to the back for kicks. It was fun to use as a party Technical, don’t get me wrong, but many of us were much more welcoming of the later Caracara 4x4.
Gee Barrage, how come your mom lets you have two gun turrets? This truck was my first choice to bring to heists when playing with randoms, because having not one but two mounted guns grabbed their attention and ensured there was no fighting over who got to play with the big shooty. It was like one of those fancy minivans with the TVs in the back.
Before we had the Khanjali, we had the APC. Being slightly faster and fully amphibious made it loads of fun to bring to missions that had you recovering cargo from the ocean. Seeing one of these with a proper driver and gunner duo was actually pretty scary, and since you needed a crew to operate one of these effectively, I found it fitting to do this one up with glitched Benny’s wheels and a shiny purple paint job to pay homage to the Third Street Saints. Did you know that that was why my character wore purple headphones?
The Insurgent Pick-up Custom, affectionately known as the Gunsurgent, was the best way to calm down a noisy session all the way from its Pegasus predecessor’s introduction in 2015 to the present day. Even memebikes had to watch their step around it. Whenever this big guy came out of the garage, it was officially go time. Turned out there weren’t many problems that a rolling block of steel with a Ma Deuce on the roof couldn’t solve.
Despite being lauded for its stealth capabilities, having the same radar icon as an average street car, it was always easy to spot a Vigilante coming because you’d see said icon doing a pirouette every couple of blocks. Not many drivers could handle the Vigilante’s boost function, and its low ground clearance made it prone to getting violently hung up on bits of terrain that other cars would completely ignore. It was even more groan-inducing trying to use its missiles and watching them go sailing straight underneath the vehicles you were trying to hit. The Vigilante was amazing at pushing other cars around, though, especially that cursed Humane Labs monkey van, and parking it against a wall to launch cars with its rocket boost was a ride you could charge admission for.
Never in the history of GTA has a vehicle had a redemption arc as glorious as that of the Dune FAV. On release, it wasn’t anything special, as its occupants were exposed and its mounted gun had a very limited traversal, and it only became more hated as time passed because the developers, in their infinite wisdom, had decided to bind the proximity mine function to the same button as the horn, making it all too easy to blow yourself to smithereens when trying to give a friendly beep. This problem was exacerbated in the Dune FAVs used for bunker sales, as now the mine button not only took the place of the horn button, but also that of the one used by every other bunker sale vehicle to drop a shipment, so giving that friendly beep on your way to deliver was going to cost you a hell of a lot more than just 500 GTA-bucks. Many of my friends and crew writhed at the sight of these buggies for years until the release of the Up-N-Atomizer physics gun, at which point the lowly Dune FAV got a new lease on life by being the only vehicle in the game that allowed the driver to use the Up-N-Atomizer as a drive-by weapon. Filled with newfound vigor, the Dune FAV made its triumphant return to the battlefield, bringing joy and physics fun to everyone, and we all lived ragdolly ever after.
For quite a while, I looked down my nose at the humble Nightshark. It was just a smaller Insurgent, right? Why would I bother owning one when I already had an Insurgent? But then it went on sale, and I gave it a try out of boredom, and my game plan was changed forever. This thing was a feisty little mountain goat. It was kind of like a small Insurgent, yes, but that smaller size meant it had much more get-up-and-go than its bigger brother, and it was much more comfortable when taken off the beaten path. I actually kept mine in the back of my Mobile Operations Center, where it could be summoned without having to wait for the mechanic to pick up the phone, as an emergency escape vehicle. This foresight proved quite useful, as one of the Nightshark’s most important qualities proved to be that it was able to tank a memebike’s full complement of missiles and keep running. This, combined with its lack of a unique radar icon, made it ideal for defensive play, and once we learned that breaking the driver’s door off made it easy to score eject kills, it became ideal for just about everything.

Last Monday of the Week 2024-10-28
Back in the saddle
Listening: Went to a show at DNA Lounge, the nightclub run by James Zawinski of Netscape and Firefox and Xscreensaver fame. Small show, thursday night deal, but pretty good. Main event was I Speak Machine.
youtube
Good show! Lots of screechy unnerving sounds, and a really well choreographed stage performance that pairs with replays of the music videos very precisely that was impressive to watch.
Reading: About halfway through The city and the city which is extremely funny in a very dark way. What do you do about border control when two cities exist in the same space, do you simply give up and allow people to mix freely? No, that's insane, you enforce rigid customs and laws to prevent the mixing of two spatially colocated populations from different countries. Duh. I should read more Mieville.
Watching: Watched Solo: A Star Wars Story on the plane mostly to pad out the front half of a flight until my scheduled sleep time. It's not a good movie! Every other line feels like a pick-up mandated by an anxious marketing team who were worried someone might not understand what's going on. Near constantly explaining the blatantly obvious.
Look. Okay. Han Solo can be an interesting guy. He is a scoundrel with a heart of gold which is a great archetype to play. They decide to play this bizarrely.
I cut the weird style some slack. Much like Rogue One, they were trying to see what happens if you make a movie that isn't a samurai movie in the Star Wars universe, in this case this is a sort of war refugee/insurgency/espionage deal. I think that's interesting. The imperial trench warfare raises patently unanswerable questions about the state of the imperial military. Making Han an ex-Imperial soldier could be more interesting if they played into it at all but they don't. Which is stupid. They have Qi'ra taking up with Crimson Dawn which is a great parallel! It writes itself!
In a great example of not trusting the audience the final-ish scene features Qi'ra talking to Darth Maul, the most recognizable motherfucker in the Star Wars Universe and they have him deploy his lightsaber for no fucking reason JUST IN CASE YOU DIDN'T GET IT IT'S DARTH MAUL YOU KNOW THE GUY FROM PHANTOM MENACE? WITH THE DUAL LIGHTSABER? IT'S THAT GUY. They should have saved some time by providing ushers in the theaters with physical copies of the script so that they could individually beat moviegoers over the head with them.
Playing: Gave my partner a brief tour of the games library while they were hanging out which ended in us playing Drink More Glurp together, which is a fantastic party game, gotta organize that with my friends sometime. If you haven't played Glurp, it's a QWOP-like party game where you play various chopped-and-screwed sports events as aliens with two huge arms and a freespinning body where each stick on a controller controls one arm. Watch this LRR stream to see it in action.
youtube
Making: Busy with some printing designs but they are not yet realized. Also I have other things to do including Diwali foods. Technically the timeline is really tight but no one else knows when Diwali is so I can do whatever I want.
Tools and Equipment: A coat with a lot of pockets plus a window seat on a plane means you can use the coat hook on the seat in front of you to stash a large number of readily accessible items in a convenient way without really inconveniencing anyone if you plan this out correctly.

What are your top ten video games?
Tagged by: @ellana-lavellan-rp (thank you :D)
Tagging: @veshialles @keturagh (pick which ones are least bad ig) @mallk-z @dreadfutures @redinkofshame @inner-muse @skiitter @storm-of-feathers @dreadwxlf @drakonovisny @little-lightning-lavellan @kirstinetheartist @first-flower-of-my-house @sugarspunquill @disasterdrvid and anyone else that wants to!
I am going to enforce a rule on myself of only one game per series. In no particular order, and based on how I am right now currently feeling:
1. Pokemon Insurgence - Cringy, edgy, and over-the-top in the best way while also delivering a challenging and genuinely very fun experience. I love the canon Pokemon games, but a good fangame can really bring out the best of the series while catering to longtime fans and Insurgence does just that. My Insurgence team is still the one I remember best out of all of my Pokemon teams. Cannot recommend enough if you can handle a little "i'm twelve and this is deep" writing. It's ridiculously fun.
2. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - Everything about this game is beautiful and haunting and it fundamentally changed me as a person. The world it creates is one of profound isolation while the characters and themes emphasize the importance of connection and hope. Everything I have ever written carries some of its DNA. It is also a kind of boring hack n' slash dungeon crawler with a lackluster remake and a really annoying difficulty curve in the endgame. i never successfully played it in multiplayer as intended because i did not have any friends. It also made me bisexual.
3. Hades - Extremely fun and challenging with fabulously tactile and energetic gameplay. If you have not played Hades, you really should. Also Megaera is there. 4. Stardew Valley - everything you could want in a farming sim, especially with its excellent mod support. My only issue is: where does everyone poop?? 5. Skyrim - Obviously. if you think skyrim is bad you are kidding yourself. skyrim is the most video game of all time.
6. Dragon Age Inquisition - even more obviously. The apex of the series, though it is far from perfect, especially in its pacing/story construction. Still, Origins has its pacing issues too, and Inquisition has much better/more fun gameplay. I will not argue on this. Block me if you disagree i guess. Bad hair though. 7. Subnautica - Stunningly beautiful and terrifying, even on the goddamn Switch where it barely runs. I put so many hours into it on creative mode that I broke my save and had to send it to the devs to fix. They never did get back to me... 8. Disco Elysium - hnnnnngggggghhhhnggggn it's so good you guys it's sooo good it's so fucking good guys it's soo gooooood
9. Fire Emblem Three Houses - i love these stupid anime kids so much. i love big titty byleth. this game is so bad. i think about it daily. do not play this game 10. Animal Crossing New Horizons - just a lovely little game. being able to customize your entire island is A++++, enough so that i'm willing to forgive how many features it is straight up missing and how bland the dialogue gets.
Honorable mention: Wingspan - BIRDS AAAAAAAAAAAA

Ghost Music by An Yu
For three years, Song Yan has filled the emptiness of her Beijing apartment with the tentative notes of her young piano students. She gave up on her own career as a concert pianist many years ago, but her husband Bowen, an executive at a car company, has long rebuffed her pleas to have a child. He resists even when his mother arrives from the southwestern Chinese region of Yunnan and begins her own campaign for a grandchild. As tension in the household rises, it becomes harder for Song Yan to keep her usual placid demeanor, especially since she is troubled by dreams of a doorless room she can’t escape, populated only by a strange orange mushroom. When a parcel of mushrooms native to her mother-in-law’s province is delivered seemingly by mistake, Song Yan sees an opportunity to bond with her, and as the packages continue to arrive every week, the women stir-fry and grill the mushrooms, adding them to soups and noodles. When a letter arrives in the mail from the sender of the mushrooms, Song Yan’s world begins to tilt further into the surreal. Summoned to an uncanny, seemingly ageless house hidden in a hutong that sits in the middle of the congested city, she finds Bai Yu, a once world-famous pianist who disappeared ten years ago.
The Bird Tattoo: A Novel by Dunya Mikhail
Helen is a young Yazidi woman, living with her family in a mountain village in Sinjar, northern Iraq. One day she finds a local bird caught in a trap, and frees it, just as the trapper, Elias, returns. At first angry, he soon sees the error of his ways and vows never to keep a bird captive again. Helen and Elias fall deeply in love, marry and start a family in Sinjar. The village has seemed to stand apart from time, protected by the mountains and too small to attract much political notice. But their happy existence is suddenly shattered when Elias, a journalist, goes missing. A brutal organization is sweeping over the land, infiltrating even the remotest corners, its members cloaking their violence in religious devotion. Helen’s search for her husband results in her own captivity and enslavement. She eventually escapes her captors and is reunited with some of her family. But her life is forever changed. Elias remains missing and her sons, now young recruits to the organization, are like strangers. Will she find harmony and happiness again?
Widowland by C.J. Carey
To control the past, they edited history. To control the future, they edited literature. LONDON, 1953. Thirteen years have passed since England surrendered to the Nazis and formed a Grand Alliance with Germany. It was forced to adopt many of its oppressive ideologies, one of which was the strict classification of women into hierarchical groups based on the perceived value they brought to society. Rose Ransom, a member of the privileged Geli class, remembers life from before the war but knows better than to let it show. She works for the Ministry of Culture, rewriting the classics of English literature to ensure there are no subversive thoughts that will give women any ideas. Outbreaks of insurgency have been seen across the country with graffiti made up of seditious lines from forbidden works by women painted on public buildings. Suspicion has fallen on Widowland, the run-down slums where childless women over fifty have been banished. Rose is given the dangerous task of infiltrating Widowland to find the source of the rebellion before the Leader arrives in England for the Coronation ceremony of King Edward VIII and Queen Wallis. Will Rose follow her instructions and uncover the criminals? Or will she fight for what she knows in her heart is right?
In the Time of Our History by Susanne Pari
Twelve months after her younger sister Anahita’s death, Mitra Jahani reluctantly returns to her parents’ home in suburban New Jersey to observe the Iranian custom of “The One Year.” Ana is always in Mitra’s heart, though they chose very different paths. While Ana, sweet and dutiful, bowed to their domineering father’s demands and married, Mitra rebelled, and was banished. Caught in the middle is their mother, Shireen, torn between her fierce love for her surviving daughter and her loyalty to her husband. Yet his callousness even amid shattering loss has compelled her to rethink her own decades of submission. And when Mitra is suddenly forced to confront hard truths about her sister’s life, and the secrets each of them hid to protect others, mother and daughter reach a new understanding—and forge an unexpected path forward. Alive with the tensions, sacrifices and joys that thrum within the heart of every family, In the Time of Our History is also laced with the richness of ancient and modern Persian culture and politics, in a tale that is both timeless and profoundly relevant.

Of Death, Paliperidone & England
Oh.
It's good to see your offices aint closed.
Theres a few families from the area of Anglia/Wales: blonde folk...
sketchy...
rather mafiosa...
crime syndicated types.
Who have taken to the United States.
Theyre probably going to be down in Saint David Arizona for awhile.
They where with a global triage of what I would call drug dealing terrorists and pimps.
They where seen in a self help group for drug abuse which is heavily drafted credit off my mother's extended step family.
Many of such people in that family, are dead or missing.
It is suspected they where all killed looking for rent monies, which are heavily demanded of the group. Their names where Dunham I do believe. You would be investigating the families of Melvina Dunham-Zellner. She was the 4th youngest of I believe 9 children. I cannot recall. It would be my Aunt Thelma's family's.
Everything her family owned is boarded up and abandoned.
The candy distribution store "Tobacco and Candy" is still in operation, it requires an appointment or invitation now.
I do not know how to find them.
With rent and taxes being what they are, in tandem with the crime syndicate being well nested in the zipcode of 67213 : that family could very well be dead. I am sure there is a surviving heir or heiress somewhere to all that.
Aunt Thelma had 7 children I believe and when you counted her great and great great grandchildren, there was over 100 of them. She was the aunt with a Ms. Pacman arcade game in her basement, and a lava lamp: which she kept through the 1970s all the way to Y2K when she died.
Crystal...
I am going to sit down and start collecting paypal donations again.
Ive managed to purloin some laundry soap and fabric softener, to scrub my clothes in the river with. I will be needing a computer I can download programs to. Once I have the ability, I will rip through the programming of a found password protected phone and install an OS. This will allow me to use the device as if new. It will also allow me to plug in a porsche or other car's SIM card, and use free service.
Its just a matter of finding equipment and service.
It is the phone of Troy, a local drug dealer from California. He was killed to make paliperidone and the phone was stolen by one of his customers: and thrown in the trash. They can also be taken to the Redbox at Walmart on Maize Road. They have a machine that pays cash for broken/stolen cellphones. You pop the phone in, and it spits out cash.
With debts so sky high....
anyone can become paliperidone. This is what we mean by "angry cannibal hoarde".
even yall in Olpe.
The good news is for me, being who and what I am...
my only punishment would be that I would be forced to take my paliperidone and wear opals and howlite made out of those who became part of the death count.
Venus...
are you alive?
You're probably one of the only people I can think of who would be politically and socially protected from the psychotic snaps of corporate which have led to widespread commercialized cannibalism.
I should probably go to Emporia or Lawrence.
I am currently located in Wichita.
I need a new life.
Can I get a ride there, and someone to pick up applications for Section 8, rent vouchers and Eastgate Rental Application as well as sit down with me at the SSI website?
You've got an uncle or mamma's cousin family or someone in the area named Pelletier.
He looks like you.
He looks like he could be your dad or something.
Ive always been told to avoid him (even by you I think).
He's in the middle of the whole thing.
He's how I know your name is "Durango" and how I know you aint supposed to be in the United States and how I know you are a Spanish Enemy insurgent.
So....
let's sit down and buy firearms.
let's sit down and eat something. I am famished and my poo aint green.
let's sit down and get my medication going, and tell Jennifer that I am on it. (she will psychotically snap and pick me up and kidnap me, she's Jewish and part Hanuman, the kind of people commonly who become paliperidone)
infact...
I want to introduce you to tea from Amazon.com. You can now purchase by the pound. There is also a wonderful drug dealer in London who can and will provide with all kinds of illegal street drugs via the internet. They like to rip people off online, however we already have the ability to put a gun to their head and make sure they give us free samples.
that reminds me...
Buckingham Palace ain't in England.
They are perfectly located in the middle of Wales.
The drug dealer needs to be reminded of this.
The reason methamphetamine is called "meth" is due to the word "meddyglyn". If anyone from England is to be selling that compound, they also need to be reminded that too much methyl cake can cause the lungs to collapse and their chemists aint really that trust worthy.
Now...
while I am off my anti-psychotics....
who is the judge or authority causing my psychosis?
do they want to be body harvested due to the trillion dollar debts to the gunpowder industry?
Because right now...
I could go for a master bottle (about 10,000 PAL3 pills) which would be made of about 500-1000 people. I would prefer they all be the assholes who have kept me from my ID and wallet and bank accounts and my drivers license.

As machines and creation processes turned out to be further developed, the large scale manufacturing of attire became attainable. This undeniable the start of a critical change in the manner individuals dressed, as it offered an option in contrast to uniquely custom-made pieces of clothing that were once the standard.

Effect of Digital Marketing on Consumer Behaviour
Promoting worldview has experienced an ocean change over the previous decade. The web profoundly affects different enterprises however not very many ventures have seen a transformation like advertising. Gone are the days when thumping on entryways or cool calling was viewed as the simplest and best method for contacting shoppers. Advertising proficient back in 90's and 00's would have laughed at the general thought that 10 years or after two decades, organizations would have the capacity to run continuous showcasing efforts. Nobody would have harbored such musings.
Omnipresent online nearness
An examination done by IAMAI - IMRB reports that almost 60% of urban India has an online nearness in some shape. The quantity of web clients in the nation is set to achieve 450-465 million clients by mid-2017. Additionally pushed by the Government's steady concentration through 'Make in India' and 'Advanced India' activities, the online insurgency has rolled out a momentous improvement in the way marks showcase their items on the web. According to a current report by IMRB, India as of now burns through 12% on advanced showcasing. Today, Digital assumes a basic part in each part of showcasing – whether it is tied in with making mindfulness, client commitment, client securing, and item advancement. The portable screen turned into the main screen of India in 2016 and it is quickly changing the way we expend media, communicate with others (counting brands). Indeed, even country India isn't deserted. They have jumped to portable innovation with bring down entrance of PCs, as a medium to get to the Internet. Coming to the clients through these channels picks up footing, bringing about higher ROI's, and fabricating a review in the shopper's brain.
Enabled shoppers
The present customers are more illuminated and enabled. They are always being overwhelmed with more advanced substance than any other time in recent memory. An enormous number of brands are accessible readily available. Shoppers have turned out to be all the more requesting. They know like never before about what they need, how they need it and from whom they need. Shoppers are getting to be adjusted to prompt openness and anticipate that their image encounters will be customized and simple to explore. With such a significant number of choices only a tick away, clients won't stick around if the brand encounter isn't a wonderful. While choosing item and administrations, customers depend more on promotion of individuals they know and trust. Suggestions from known individuals are presently five times more trusted than mark promoting as indicated by the Word of Mouth Marketing Association. Buyers these days are investing more energy surfing online networking destinations and the choices about the buy, frequently reflect cooperations with companions and different influencers. The advanced world has made purchasers very fretful, indiscreet and they look for prompt satisfaction. They need quick administrations and continuous virtual discourse with their brands. 24 hour conveyance is being surpassed by ever-speedier conveyance potential outcomes for the customer.
Developing purchaser conduct in Digital Age
The greatest change in buyer conduct is that purchasers expect a reliable and customized understanding. Customers want and expect customized informing from brands. Advertisers ought to associate with them at the correct spots at right circumstances, which includes expanded continuous confinement. Current buyers are not steadfast clients, they are more assortment searchers. This has left already logo-substantial organizations scrambling to acclimatize their item to suit current tastes. Patanjali Baba Ramdev's drive is a decent case. Patanjali is giving intense time to the MNCs. FMCG major Colgate-Palmolive has recognized rivalry from Patanjali items.
Nowadays customer put more accentuation on post buy understanding. To fulfill and hold clients, items and administrations are accompanying a sort of inherent offer of post-buy help. Rising meaning of accommodation is moving from satisfying client needs to really anticipate them – including the Post Exchange period. Instruments like client examination, social insight, and machine interpretation are altogether vital parts which help marks in the conveyance of the encounters that clients need.
The prime change in purchaser conduct is that customers, progressively get some distance from anything they see as showcasing. As buyers are getting to be technically knowledgeable they are getting to be eager towards nosy or immaterial substance and messages. Over 25% cell phone clients have introduced advertisement blockers and this number is expanding quickly. Rather, they look towards little gatherings of individuals who have an abnormal state of validity in their particular industry or class to impact their purchasing choices. As shoppers invest more energy in these online networking stages, choices about what to buy frequently reflect associations with companions and different influencers. Accordingly, driving advertisers are adjusting their techniques to achieve progressively organized buyers and setting more weight on strategies, for example, informal promoting and narrating.
Advertisers need to begin catching client goal information with the goal that promoting and experience can turn out to be logically pertinent to singular shoppers, maybe out of the blue. As an advertiser, we can anticipate that showcasing will be less about a brisk offer and more about building a long haul relationship. Clients require validity in their purchase of things and expect some level of personalization in mass made additionally in upscale things. These asking for customers have ended up being more limit about their choices and slants. On the off chance that they are not upbeat about any item and administrations they are extremely forthright about their conclusions on different online networking stages. Each buy choice is examined, assessed, positioned and even group sourced to guarantee that it's the best choice.
Customer conduct in the advanced age is a regularly changing and consistently extending. Remaining tuned in to buyer practices, tastes, and approaching patterns can enable brand to remain important, obvious and connecting with for clients.

I know I already replied (twice) but I Am A Nut Case and this may be the easier avenue to share links
Unbound - Custom region, original story, postgame, quests, mega evolution, difficulty settings. Generally regarded as one of the best, most complete rom hacks. Has pokemon up to gen 7, last I checked, but may have added more. Also has great documentation in case you get stuck.
Radical Red - Mostly a difficulty hack of FireRed with some story changes, a lot of the same QoL as Unbound, pokemon up to gen 9 and some hard battles. Will force you to get competitive and think outside the box.
Emerald Rogue - No plot, just pick a pokemon and begin working your way to the top. If you fail, you start all over again. Super satisfying to progress in and eventually beat.
Fool's Gold - Gen II with all-new forms for every pokemon! A fun way to re-experience classic Johto.
Prism - The game that got me interested in hacking Gen II. It does a lot with GSC's fairly limited engine and is very impressive! Similar is Coral, which I haven't played through.
Gaia and Blazed Glazed (couldn't find a link on BG). It's been a while, but they're nice tight hacks with stories to tell. Not as massive as Unbound, but a lot of fun. The same goes for Flora Sky, though I haven't finished it.
Dreams and Sienna. Narrative hacks with fakemon! I'm a sucker for Dreams, and it has the stronger plot, but Sienna is also good.
Battle Labyrinth, Odyssey and Voyager. Unfinished as of yet, but well worth a play as they are. Voyager has beautiful fakemon sprites, Battle Labyrinth is entertainingly challenging, and Odyssey's premise is great.
Insurgence. Expansive, tough, and a little silly. The plot is weird and edgy, there's a lot to do, and the Delta Variant pokemon and custom megas are very cool. Inbuilt challenge modes, too, for nuzlocking, Ironmon, randomisers, egglocke, etc.
Uranium. Classic. A smaller pokedex, great original music, and I really love the story. Even if not all the humour lands, it's a really enjoyable game.
Crown. Unfinished but hey, man, why did you overhaul the entire battle system, why does the game look so good, what. Great hack. The creator's a crazy person.
Reborn and Rejuvenation. Huge games, loads to do, really challenging (a little unfair sometimes, introducing battle mechanics just to give the gym leader an unfair advantage). The plot is dark, sometimes in a gritty way, sometimes in a silly, edgy way. Fun, if you can deal with the story flying off the rails sometimes, and occasionally feeling like a supporting character to the huge cast of NPCs in Rejuv.
Others: I've heard good things about Sardonyx and Phoenix Rising; both are unfinished and have regional forms. I've played Sweet 2th but not Sweets, and liked it, even if relearning the whole type chart was annoying.
Once I've finished the next gym in my own hack, I'll definitely be posting a demo :3
The other day, I mentioned that I wanted to check out Pokémon Infinite Fusion. I still need to check it out, but it did get me thinking.
One thing I could potentially do on my YouTube channel is to check out some Pokémon ROM hacks or fangames. I've had a few people ask me about that throughout the years on YouTube, so maybe it's time to start checking them out and make a let's play of those ROM hacks/fangames. Question is, where to start? If anyone has any suggestions, let me know and I might look into it.
#pkmn#and now i think i deserve a little treat for going through an entire video game recommendation thread#without mentioning dicey dungeons or outer wilds

Macmull guitars UK
You don't have to go really much on the web prior to you stumble upon a post about Abandoner Guitars. Well known for their link to Mr. Big's Paul Gilbert, Abandoner is absolutely a pedal ogre's dream firm. They are offering a wide variety of hand-made store pedals that approach the extreme in terms of large sound-shaping capacities. In fact, many have defined Insurgent's range as being the 'most severe pedals ever made. Well, I do not find out about that, however they appear to be hugely preferred with a certain type of player , patrick james eggle!

So, that are Insurgent? Well, if you do not currently recognize, after that I recommend you read this article. The short version, however, is that the primary man behind Insurgent is a fella called Paul Wolinski. Paul initially made a name for himself under the alias 'Wolinski Personalized Shop,' developing personalized guitars as well as pedals that were popular with both Joe Satriani as well as Steve Vai. The Wolinski name was in danger of ending up being popular in the premium guitar markets when Paul chose to rebrand his firm as Renegade Impacts in order to develop an extra consistent brand.

Up until now, Insurgent has developed numerous prominent pedals with trademark versions for Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, in addition to musicians Richie Kotzen as well as Paul Gilbert. The business has actually also made custom-made one-offs for the similarity Guthrie Govan. Paul Wolinski is happy to function closely with guitarists to guarantee that his designs are specifically what they desire, so there's no threat of your custom-made store order ending up being lost in the message. If there's one thing I've learnt more about Paul Wolinski, it is this ... If you want any pedal personalized, then get in touch with him! He never ever fails to exceed as well as beyond the call of task.

However, Renegade is not yet as well known to the public as Dunlop or Employer. To be entirely straightforward, I do not think they actually promote very much. I think this is partially due to the fact that Paul Wolinski does not wish to run the risk of cheapening the Insurgent name with too much exposure (simply put, he prefer to accumulate a track record than splash it all over adverts). You can get a number of their pedals by getting in touch with Paul straight through his Facebook web page.
If you're looking for premium shop pedals, after that inspect outside Effects. They may simply have what you're seeking.

In terms of distinctions between Renegade as well as various other store pedal home builders, Paul Wolinski claims this" I make the elements myself in my very own workshop, hand constructs each device directly. I am utilizing a mix of brand-new outdated modern technology & some modern methods to cause a different noise , matchless hc30."

Cakes On The Griddle
A lot has happened in the last 13 months, and I’m not even talking about COVID. No, it was 13 months to the day that George Floyd died at the hands (actually, I should say left knee) of Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin.
Protests and riots ensued across the country. Cities from coast to coast became war zones of insurgence. And then marketing landed in the cross hairs of scrutiny, the result being that major consumer products were exposed for relying on racist imagery and words in their branding. Companies were forced to reconsider everything, and announcements were made to show their commitment to making things right.
And now we are beginning to see some of the fruit from those hasty closed-door planning sessions. Aunt Jemima products are now fading into the past, with her replacement--Pearl Milling Company--showing up side-by-side on grocer shelves until the old product runs out.
Parent company PepsiCo, which owns Quaker Oats and thus the Aunt Jemima brand, had announced in June 2020 that it would completely rebrand its familiar line of pancake mixes and syrups. In February 2021, the rebrand was announced, along with examples of the label. Finally, a year later, those new items are showing up.
It can take a long time to turn an ocean liner, and the same goes for brands apparently.
To PepsiCo’s great credit, they figured out how to make the new brand’s label look remarkably like the old. If you are a shopper who reflexively picks up products because of cues like color, it won’t be hard for Aunt Jemima customers to become Pearl Milling Company consumers.
As for the name Pearl Milling, it is a reference to the company’s early days in St. Joseph Missouri, long before it was gobbled up and rolled into a conglomerate. The self-rising pancake mix was an innovation in 1889, and was named for a minstrel show song. The face of the brand, though, was that of a black woman, which caused modern critics to decry the implicit racial stereotype.
PepsiCo also put its money where its mouth is with a "$1 million commitment to empower and uplift black girls and women,” which will certainly motivate other food manufacturers with similar rebrands to do likewise
. Old-school brands like Uncle Ben’s, Cream of Wheat, and Eskimo Pie are all being retooled to remove any racist interpretations.
It’s not like these branding conversations started as a result of the George Floyd incident. No, they had been going on for many years. It’s just that it caused us to look at racial injustices in a new way, and finally begin to do something about it, even if it may ruffle feathers along the way.
If it means that branding in the future will lean toward nameless, faceless, even genderless words and imagery, so be it. It’s the marketing high road we must now all try to navigate. Those pancakes are going to taste just the same no matter what’s on the label. We’ve come a long way in 13 months, but we still have a way to go.

I had used an Insurgent for what I think was my very first car meet - back in the PS Communities era. The theme was off-road vehicles, and due to genuinely not having any, I took out my Wine Red Insurgent on SUV wheels. The other 5 peeps and I had loads of fun. However, I've rarely used the Insurgent for its intended purpose. When the need arose for a vehicle of its kind, I had a Nightshark on hand. One Insurgent lives in my Fast & Furious garage to this day - I'm not sure if it's the same formerly-Wine-Red one. I did use the F&F replica to utterly bamboozle camping MkII's a few times though...
The gunless IPUC looks so cool. Since the current merge glitch likely needs the recipient vehicle to be able to enter the LS Car Meet, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get one of my own, but I will try.
I have been accused of godmode at least once while whipping the Phantom. I love it, it looks like a regular ol' semi truck however, not only can it tank three and a half mosquitoes worth of rockets but it also feels quite a bit quicker than a semi truck should be. And ya feel that in the braking distance. Its biggest weakness was only bigger with the auto-aim on console but that didn't stop me from making a fool of any rocket-spammer I came across. The Phantom was a better pick than the Hauler, as it was cheaper, you could chuck sticky bombs out of it and it had seats behind the cab that, I believe, also got explosion protection.
My first Avenger was paid for in part by a dupe glitch, and my second one was the second flying vehicle on that character. Needless to say, the Avenger is pretty much my favorite aircraft in the game. Despite rarely getting to use the full might of one with even just one gunner, I did fly it from time to time on each character. First I must mention that the Avenger is quite fast and nimble for its size. Then, of course, the armor, which opens up new options of disrespecting tryhards. Such as chopping up annoying mosquito riders with the large propellers at basically no damage to yourself, or to bodyslamming hostile Buzzards into the shadow realm. I am also very fond of the aircraft carrier Big Drop™ technique. I first came up with the idea not long after the business battle in question was released, and I successfully executed it with a Dune FAV. I later tried it with an APC, which didn't work, so I thought they patched it and didn't try it anymore. I'm not quite sure if it was actually patched or if I just tried the few vehicles that didn't work, but it is 100% still possible. Just choose an unweaponized vehicle to be safe an you're golden.
The Terrorbyte was one for the grinders. The big idea with it was that you could manage your businesses from one mobile location. While the inability to buy supplies through it and the nature of some Air-Freight source missions made it not-really-viable for MC, Bunker and Hangar businesses, it was a CEO's best friend. It was a lifesaver for grinding Import/Export and Special Cargo, as it cut about a third from the cycle of one mission. You no longer had to go all the way to the office to start the next mission, just into the truck conveniently parked next to your warehouse. It was also a combination nest, upgrade shop and paywall for the mosquito. The weapon workshop was a nice addition and the unique multi lock-on turret was... there. The drone station had potential for participating in a bit of trolling, but I never really used it.
The Oppressor MkII really needs no introduction. The pair of handlebars welded onto a small jet engine, the shitter bike, the mosquito, the broomstick, or simply the MkII. It had many names. Together with the Terrorbyte, and to a point with the B-11 too, they mark the peak of GTAO's weaponized vehicle era. A bit of an Icarus moment, to be frank. People complained how the weaponized vehicles had nothing to do with the theme of the update, they rightfully complained about the vehicular combat boiling down to one vehicle. 'Twas a dark time in public sessions with the MkII on the loose. No sell mission was non-stressful, no cargo was safe. At any moment, some kid with a broomstick could show up and destroy hours of your time, just to be a dick. Giving it a 5-minute cooldown and later nerfing its missiles and countermeasures was something, but the MkII is still to this day incredibly annoying to fight in the hands of someone who at least slightly knows what they're doing. Thankfully, most don't. I feel the "but muh grinding" arguments in my soul, because grinding became Like That in 2018 and frankly, it is Like That to this day. Every 2018-and-later MC sale I've helped with had two to four MkII's, sometimes a stray Buzzard, Oppressor MkI or Scramjet. The reason I bought a MkII was precisely to streamline my sales. I messed up at least one MC bag sell mission (F in the chat. They're still not back.) by falling off my MkI and dying. But from day one, the broomstick was way too boring for me to use on a daily basis. I much rather utilized a combination of the CEO Buzzard and whatever car I had on hand. I even set up a random generator with every car in my collection to help me choose which one I'd use next. I continued like that until roughly December 15th, 2020.
Apologies in advance, for I am about to simp.
Not that many cars came out on Gallo Perrito's release day. I have but faint memories of how exactly I went about deciding which ones to buy, I'm not even sure if I bought the Toreador on release day or the day after. What I am sure about however, is that about two minutes after I had bought and customized it, the position of My Favourite Vehicle In The Game gained a concrete occupant. The Toreador just felt tailored to the specific kind of player I was then and am to this day. A mostly-solo grinder who likes cars, especially the weird ones. Back on topic though, the Toreador checked so many boxes for me.
Based on an obscure Lamborghini concept car from the '60s. Unlimited good-tracking missiles. A rocket boost. Some explosion-proof armor. No special radar icon. Hood-mounted machine guns of the Good Kind. Four seats. Decent customization. Submarine mode with the rocket boost available. Ability to be stored inside the Kosatka. It took me about a week of trying to balance my Toreador on the submarine's nose and a Reddit post of someone's Stromberg inside it to find out about the last one, but I digress. It became my go-to vehicle for just about everything. It is stylish enough for a session cruiser and durable enough to fight off trigger-happy missile spammers. Its weapons, armor and speed make it a viable option for most source or sell missions. Because it also has four seats, it's useful in a variety of scenarios like contact missions (although let's be real no one does those anymore). Above all else, I began to use it as a solution for any MkII-shaped problem I faced. I didn't always win and I was often frustrated, but as I said - most MkII users don't know what they're doing. I once racked up a very high mental state by just shooting down mosquitoes that came at me. But the Toreador isn't without its faults. Most famously, the car is 50% glass, which one has to keep in mind. Driving within lock-on distance to a hostile player means certain death on console. It also lacks off-the-line grip (without the boost in question), which doesn't help with maneuvering. More grip or an all-wheel-drive system would be ideal. Lastly, and this is personal, I just think it would look snazzy with some pop-up headlights. All in all, I love the Toreador passionately.
I'm not sure how it was on PC, but the Speedo Custom's console existence was tarnished by the infamous godmode glitch. With some trickery while exiting the nightclub, one could make the Speedo Custom completely invulnerable to explosions or Up-n-Atomizer blasts. Let me tell you, fighting one of these is incredibly difficult and annoying. Your only option being shooting the driver and/or drowning the van, perhaps with luck and a Cargobob. The most recent time I encountered a so-called Godmode Speedo, it took a focused effort of two or three players just to take the guy down once. Oh and did I mention the glitch is still not patched? The Speedo Custom can drift however, even just stanced without lowgrips. I wonder if I can take it inside the LS Car Meet if I remove the gun.
I have kind of a love-hate relationship with the custom Pounder. On one hand, it's not really fast, likes to tip over, isn't even grippy, and likes to get caught on things. On the other hand, the Mule is all that but slower. I made the mistake of 3 nightclub sell vehicles on old gen, but I was aware of it on PS5.
My first “expensive” purchase in the GTA world was this Insurgent, back in 2015, because I loved huge armored vehicles. Explosives weren’t quite as prevalent in the game world yet, but it was still nice to have the added protection from Kuruma nutjobs while repping the Saints.
After the release of the SUV Insurgent and the Pegasus Gunsurgent, there was an outcry for a pick-up Insurgent without a gun. Those prayers were unintentionally answered in the form of the Insurgent Pick-up Custom, which had a glitch to remove the gun turret from the roof, turning it into a harmless-looking armored truck. However, the turret itself still worked, resulting in the gunner angrily shaking their fists while bullets spewed from the truck’s grille. Discrepancies with the crosshair made it difficult to hit anything more than 200 yards away.
The Anti-Aircraft Trailer always arrived with its faithful Sadler companion. Lots of people slept on the AA Trailer, not knowing that the flak turret was incredibly strong and could down even an Avenger in two direct hits. Hooking this thing to the back of a Nightshark or an Insurgent made for a fast and dangerous doom train. The downside was that, once again, it was kneecapped by the developers’ poor decision to make the trailer take the slot of your personal vehicle, meaning that you couldn’t tow it with any of your cool armored vehicles and were entirely dependent on having a friend who owned something that could tow it unless you wanted to hurt that poor Sadler.
From the minds of mortal men, the mightiest of machines: Phantom Custom. Or, as our enemies liked to call it, the “god mode truck”. The single most heavily-armored vehicle in the entire game is this unassuming big rig, able to soak up almost 70 homing missiles before giving up the ghost. This truck cab turned the tide of many, many battles against stubborn shitters and was a cornerstone of crew fights, having no weapons of its own but being unable to be ignored. Hundreds of hapless griefers would pour ammunition into its completely impervious backside, standing perfectly still for a single revolver shot. Even tanks weren’t safe, as it was easy to take one down by strapping a load of stickies to the front and ramming it at full speed, armoring through the explosion like the mango Sentinel. The saddest part is that the counter to the Phantom Custom was as simple as getting in a plain old car and shooting the driver through the windshield, but none of these knuckleheads would ever dare risk their precious KDR by getting out of their shitter toys. They’d just keep bashing their heads against the wall and then cry that it was hacks. Some people never learn.
They may as well have called the Avenger the B-17, because it was a flying fortress. A fully-crewed Avenger was legitimately terrifying and could retake control of an entire session all by itself. If the gunners knew how to use thermals, they could keep griefers locked down so hard that they wouldn’t even be able to respawn. If the Hunter was the Valkyrie’s big brother, then the Avenger was Mom and Dad getting up off of the couch. But to me, the real fun of the Avenger was flying it solo. Unlike most aircraft, the Avenger had a significant amount of armor, and it was so huge that it could “joust” other aircraft and utterly destroy them by body checking them. At worst it would lose an aileron or two, and then it could just go nto VTOL mode and land gently. For a while I had a good collection going of hostile aircraft getting clotheslined into oblivion by my Avenger, but that ship has sailed. The other trick up the Avenger’s sleeve was being able to airdrop vehicles from two miles up. It was a laugh riot to load an Insurgent into the vehicle bay, pile eight friends and myself into it, and Operation Dumbo Drop that sucker onto the aircraft carrier. For such a big aircraft, the Avenger was able to fit in absolutely anywhere.
The Terrorbyte was the developers’ answer to players who wanted a luxury camper, because they’re incapable of adding any sort of “comfy” vehicle or property without turning it into some kind of secret war machine undercover base thing reminiscent of a transforming action figure playset. The Terrorbyte was nice as a mobile wardrobe and ammo refill station, and it came in handy as a roadblock in a few missions, but that was the extent of its usefulness. You couldn’t even load a regular motorcycle in the back, even if you glitched one into the bay. I would have taken this thing everywhere if I could have put a dirt bike inside it.
The Oppressor Mk II needs no introduction. This is the vehicle that heralded the downfall of the entire game. What could be more balanced than a vehicle that’s the size of a motorcycle, can fly, can hover, can rocket boost, can shoot dozens of missiles that can’t be dodged, can block incoming missiles, can be spawned next to you instantly with no cooldown, can refill your health and double your defense, and can’t be fallen off of? This cancerbike irreparably ruined public sessions and PVP to the point where the meta forced all other vehicles into two categories: those that could stand up to it, and those that couldn’t. “Counters” to the memebike were just things that didn’t instantly die to it or had more armor than its load of missiles could penetrate. It was like Akuma from Super Turbo in that it was so broken that the only counter to it was itself. That was the only reason I even owned one. People everywhere hated it, and the devs took years beating around the bush, giving it tiny “nerfs” that did nothing to address the problem, until numbers started dropping and they finally changed a number in the game’s code to make the missiles less accurate, but the damage was already done. What the Oppressor Mk II really killed wasn’t combat and PVP, but grinding and PVE. Innumerable calls for it to be removed from the game were shouted down with “but my grinding!” because it absolutely trivialized almost every mission in the game. You could play GTA without ever actually looking at the game, only the radar. Get on the rocking horse, hold forward until you reach the yellow dot, press the button until all the red dots are gone, hold forward until you reach the other yellow dot, watch green number go up. That was what the entire game had been reduced to. With the Mk II, every mission became a class of Harry Potter students flying their broomsticks to the magic castle and finishing the mission as fast as possible, and even one person speedrunning the objective would leave nothing left to do for the people who wanted to actually enjoy their cars and guns, unless everyone agreed beforehand not to use their memebike. Be it in peacetime or wartime, all it took was one meta slave to ruin everyone else’s fun.
One of the game’s answers to the prevalence of the memebike was to simply build a better mousetrap. Much like the Stromberg was the natural predator of the Oppressor, the Toreador here was made to fight the Oppressor Mk II. It combined the armor and aquatic capabilities of the Stromberg with the rocket boost and stealth icon of the Vigilante. Its effectiveness against its seemingly intended target was debatable, but it proved to be an effective vehicle in PVP nonetheless. I personally didn’t care much for it, because the glass cabin offered no protection from NPC bullet spam and passengers were unable to use drive-by weapons, but I still owned one because it was a fun car to jump around in and wasn’t allergic to water like the Scramjet. It also had this rare livery hidden its files, unavailable to anyone except GTA+ subscribers and people with knowledge of merge glitches. Ironically, despite the war camouflage motif, my Toreador never saw actual combat wearing it as most of us were already on our way out by then.
The Speedo Custom was good for delivering cargo as well as delivering death. This boxy buddy came free with the purchase of any nightclub to make dropoffs for it, and many people used it only for that purpose, not knowing how vicious the turret on its roof could be. It didn’t have much armor, but in urban firefights it could poke its stubby little nose out from around a corner and snipe hostiles from well beyond minigun range. I had so much fun with this thing that I used to give crewmates a sales pitch along the lines of “buy this van and get a free nightclub”.
For deliveries above the 90-unit cutoff, the Pounder Custom came out to play. It was forced to play a more blue-collar role compared to its smaller sibling, because installing the rocket turrets on it would cause it to get hung up on overhangs like that 11-foot-8 bridge. It did its job, it did it well, and most importantly, it saved a lot of people from buying the Mule Custom.

Mechanized record age – the simpler method to work together
As the computerized transformation picks up pace, mechanization is on the ascent in various Salesforce highlights – think Flow Builder, Process Builder and APIs, to name however three – and it's not really astounding. Regardless of whether used to upgrade deals' exhibition, for item testing, in promoting or archive age, computerization spares time, is savvy and eliminates the component of human mistake that can emerge, particularly in tedious cycles. Subsequently, these apparatuses assist organizations with getting more smoothed out, coordinated and proficient by and large.
The scourge of administrative work/Easing the torment of desk work/Easing the desk work trouble
We should discuss how computerization can reform the ceaseless assignment of archive age. With organizations around the globe making an expected 200 billion records each year, there is enormous potential for time and cost reserve funds to be accomplished through computerizing this important, yet regularly difficult, part of business life.
Regardless of whether you're creating a statement, receipt, agreement or report, exchanging between projects, reordering data from various clients, frameworks and records can be tedious and complex. In the event that the data is erroneous, deficient or obsolete, at that point so will the end report be, which considers gravely your business, best case scenario, and can be exorbitant at the very least.
Make, print, rehash…
Think about this model from the universe of deals (albeit comparative situations can be made for lawful, client achievement or chief groups). When a deal has been finished up, the accompanying major advances are probably going to have been taken:
Client request got
Value quote sent to the client
Marked statement got
Receipt of marked statement recognized
Follow-up movement completed – for instance orchestrating time and date for conveyance
The fundamental recipe is a similar each time, so why re-imagine the wheel? By adopting a signed up strategy between individuals, cycles and information, you can guarantee that all the vital components are open in one spot. Add to this a computerization apparatus that is sans code, adaptable and savvy, and life's going to get fascinating!
Robotization points of interest
It's not just about delivering reports, or even about making them in various organizations like in PDF, Word, HTML and eMai; it's tied in with having the devices you need readily available to create records with imaginative, easy to use highlights. Envision the accommodation of altering an archive layout that has inherent deals messages and incentives, has connection capacities, and empowers clients to effortlessly fill in, sign and return structures on the web – all through Salesforce. Such an answer would spare important time, help forestall human mistake and let loose staff from being burdened by office administrator, so they can zero in on finding imaginative manners to improve the business.
Keep up an individual touch
Computerization doesn't mean taking a 'one-size-fits-all', indifferent methodology. Associations that need to speak with countless clients at the same time can do so productively, while keeping up a component of personalization that lets every one feel they are getting singular consideration. A decent archive age apparatus should uphold Maximum Availability Architecture (MASS) prescribed procedures and information base union, not just producing a solitary report for all clients, however guaranteeing that each record is customized dependent on Salesforce client records, and giving an appropriate reaction to every client, contingent upon their particular needs. Highlights, for example, electronic marks, intelligent fields, document connection abilities all improve the individual touch.
The obvious issue at hand
In the event that it's all so natural and the advantages are altogether so clear, for what reason isn't everyone doing it? In all actuality numerous organizations, even the individuals who as of now use Salesforce, are to some degree troubled about executing computerization devices. They might be on edge about the difficulties of the change itself from manual to robotized; or maybe the IT staff at last answerable for their organization setting out on such an activity are worried about what it would mean for them and for different representatives. To this we reverberation the expressions of American finance manager, Clara Shih:
Keen associations will grasp vital mechanization use cases. Key choice will be founded on how innovation will save time to do the kinds of assignments that people are exceptionally situated to perform.
Jump aboard! /Join the computerization insurgency
So, mechanized record age spares you time and assets, improves the nature of reports you're conveying, causes you convey a more exact, smoothed out client experience, and improves business activities. There are various arrangements available today, however to get all the highlights referenced above, in a thorough, adaptable intelligent stage that can be utilized with Salesforce, you should consider PDF Butler Salesforce

THE 1619 PROJECT - NEW YORK TIMES
America holds onto an undemocratic assumption from its founding: that some people deserve more power than others.
By Jamelle Bouie
AUG. 14, 2019
If you want to understand American politics in 2019 and the strain of reactionary extremism that has taken over the Republican Party, a good place to start is 2011: the year after a backlash to Barack Obama’s presidency swept Tea Party insurgents into Congress, flipping control of the House.
It was clear, at the start of that year, that Congress would have to lift the debt ceiling — the limit on bonds and other debt instruments the government issues when it doesn’t have the revenues to fulfill spending obligations. These votes were often opportunities for grandstanding and occasionally brinkmanship by politicians from both parties. But it was understood that, when push came to shove, Congress would lift the limit and the government would pay its obligations.
2011 was different. Congressional Republicans, led by the new Tea Party conservatives, wanted to repeal the Affordable Care Act and make other sharp cuts to the social safety net. But Democrats controlled the Senate and the White House. So House Republicans decided to take a hostage. “I’m asking you to look at a potential increase in the debt limit as a leverage moment when the White House and President Obama will have to deal with us,” said the incoming majority leader, Eric Cantor, at a closed-door retreat days before the session began, according to The Washington Post. Either the White House would agree to harsh austerity measures or Republicans would force the United States to default on its debt obligations, precipitating an economic crisis just as the country, and the world, was beginning to recover from the Great Recession.
The debt-limit standoff was a case study of a fundamental change within the Republican Party after Obama took office in 2009. Republicans would either win total victory or they would wreck the system itself. The Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell, used a variety of procedural tactics to effectively nullify the president’s ability to nominate federal judges and fill vacancies in the executive branch. In the minority, he used the filibuster to an unprecedented degree. In the majority, after Republicans won the Senate in the 2014 midterm elections, he led an extraordinary blockade of the Supreme Court, stopping the Senate from even considering the president’s nominee for the bench.
Where did this destructive, sectarian style of partisan politics come from? Conventional wisdom traces its roots to the “Gingrich Revolution” of the 1990s, whose architect pioneered a hardball, insurgent style of political combat, undermining norms and dismantling congressional institutions for the sake of power. This is true enough, but the Republican Party of the Obama years didn’t just recycle its Gingrich-era excesses; it also pursued a policy of total opposition, not just blocking Obama but also casting him as fundamentally illegitimate and un-American. He may have been elected by a majority of the voting public, but that majority didn’t count. It didn’t represent the “real” America.
John C. Calhoun, perhaps the most prominent political theorist of the slaveholding South and an influence on modern right-wing thinking. From the National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution
Obama’s election reignited a fight about democratic legitimacy — about who can claim the country as their own, and who has the right to act as a citizen — that is as old as American democracy itself. And the reactionary position in this conflict, which seeks to narrow the scope of participation and arrest the power of majorities beyond the limits of the Constitution, has its own peculiar history: not just in the ideological battles of the founding but also in the institution that defined the early American republic as much as any other.
The plantations that dotted the landscape of the antebellum South produced the commodities that fueled the nation’s early growth. Enslaved people working in glorified labor camps picked cotton, grew indigo, harvested resin from trees for turpentine and generated additional capital in the form of their children, bought, sold and securitized on the open market. But plantations didn’t just produce goods; they produced ideas too. Enslaved laborers developed an understanding of the society in which they lived. The people who enslaved them, likewise, constructed elaborate sets of beliefs, customs and ideologies meant to justify their positions in this economic and social hierarchy. Those ideas permeated the entire South, taking deepest root in places where slavery was most entrenched.
South Carolina was a paradigmatic slave state. Although the majority of enslavers resided in the “low country,” with its large rice and cotton plantations, nearly the entire state participated in plantation agriculture and the slave economy. By 1820 most South Carolinians were enslaved Africans. By midcentury, the historian Manisha Sinha notes in “The Counterrevolution of Slavery,” it was the first Southern state where a majority of the white population held slaves.
Not surprisingly, enslavers dominated the state’s political class. “Carolinian rice aristocrats and the cotton planters from the hinterland,” Sinha writes, “formed an intersectional ruling class, bound together by kinship, economic, political and cultural ties.” The government they built was the most undemocratic in the Union. The slave-rich districts of the coasts enjoyed nearly as much representation in the Legislature as more populous regions in the interior of the state. Statewide office was restricted to wealthy property owners. To even qualify for the governorship, you needed a large, debt-free estate. Rich enslavers were essentially the only people who could participate in the highest levels of government. To the extent that there were popular elections, they were for the lowest levels of government, because the State Legislature tended to decide most high-level offices.
But immense power at home could not compensate for declining power in national politics. The growth of the free Northwest threatened Southern dominance in Congress. And the slaveholding planter class would witness the rise of an organized movement to stop the expansion of slavery and curb the power enslavers held over key institutions like the Senate and the Supreme Court.
Out of this atmosphere of fear and insecurity came a number of thinkers and politicians who set their minds to protecting South Carolina and the rest of the slaveholding South from a hostile North. Arguably the most prominent and accomplished of these planter-politicians was John C. Calhoun. Vice president under John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson, secretary of state under John Tyler and eventually a United States senator representing the state, Calhoun was a deep believer in the system of slavery — which he called a “positive good” that “forms the most solid and durable foundation on which to rear free and stable institutions”— and a committed advocate for the slave-owning planter class. He was an astute politician, but he made his most important mark as a theoretician of reaction: a man who, realizing that democracy could not protect slavery in perpetuity, set out to limit democracy.
Calhoun popularized the concept of “nullification”: the theory that any state subject to federal law was entitled to invalidate it. He first advanced the idea in an anonymous letter, written when he was vice president, protesting the Tariff of 1828, which sought to protect Northern industry and agriculture from foreign competitors. Calhoun condemned it as an unconstitutional piece of regional favoritism.
The South may have been part of the pro-Andrew Jackson majorities in Congress, but that wasn’t enough for Calhoun, who wanted absolute security for the region and its economic interests. Demographic and political change doomed it to be a “permanent minority”: “Our geographical position, our industry, pursuits and institutions are all peculiar.” Against a domineering North, he argued, “representation affords not the slightest protection.”
“It is, indeed, high time for the people of the South to be roused to a sense of impending calamities — on an early and full knowledge of which their safety depends,” Calhoun wrote in an 1831 report to the South Carolina Legislature. “It is time that they should see and feel that ... they are in a permanent and hopeless minority on the great and vital connected questions.”
His solution lay in the states. To Calhoun, there was no “union” per se. Instead, the United States was simply a compact among sovereigns with distinct, and often competing, sectional interests. This compact could only survive if all sides had equal say on the meaning of the Constitution and the shape and structure of the law. Individual states, Calhoun thought, should be able to veto federal laws if they thought the federal government was favoring one state or section over another. The union could only act with the assent of the entire whole — what Calhoun called “the concurrent majority” — as opposed to the Madisonian idea of rule by numerical majority, albeit mediated by compromise and consensus.

Calhoun initially lost the tariff fight, which pitted him against an obstinate Andrew Jackson, but he did not give up on nullification. He expanded on the theory at the end of his life, proposing an alternative system of government that gave political minorities a final say over majority action. In this “concurrent government,” each “interest or portion of the community” has an equal say in approving the actions of the state. Full agreement would be necessary to “put the government in motion.” Only through this, Calhoun argued, would the “different interests, orders, classes, or portions, into which the community may be divided, can be protected.”
The government Calhoun envisioned would protect “liberty”: not the liberty of the citizen but the liberty of the master, the liberty of those who claimed a right to property and a position at the top of a racial and economic hierarchy. This liberty, Calhoun stated, was “a reward to be earned, not a blessing to be gratuitously lavished on all alike — a reward reserved for the intelligent, the patriotic, the virtuous and deserving — and not a boon to be bestowed on a people too ignorant, degraded and vicious, to be capable either of appreciating or of enjoying it.” It is striking how much this echoes contemporary arguments against the expansion of democracy. In 2012, for example, a Tea Party congressional candidate from Florida said that voting is a “privilege” and seemed to endorse property requirements for participation.
Calhoun died in 1850. Ten years later, following the idea of nullification to its conclusion, the South seceded from the Union after Abraham Lincoln won the White House without a single Southern state. War came a few months later, and four years of fighting destroyed the system of slavery Calhoun fought to protect. But parts of his legacy survived. His deep suspicion of majoritarian democracy — his view that government must protect interests, defined by their unique geographic and economic characteristics, more than people — would inform the sectional politics of the South in the 20th century, where solid blocs of Southern lawmakers worked collectively to stifle any attempt to regulate the region.
Despite insurgencies at home — the Populist Party, for example, swept through Georgia and North Carolina in the 1890s — reactionary white leaders were able to maintain an iron grip on federal offices until the Voting Rights Act of 1965. And even then, the last generation of segregationist senators held on through the 1960s into the early 2000s. United, like their predecessors, by geography and their stake in Jim Crow segregation, they were a powerful force in national politics, a bloc that vetoed anything that touched their regional prerogatives.
Anti-lynching laws and some pro-labor legislation died at the hands of lawmakers from the “Solid South” who took advantage of Senate rules like the filibuster to effectively enact Calhoun’s idea of a concurrent majority against legislation that threatened the Southern racial status quo; the spirit of nullification lived on. When Northern liberal Democrats added a civil rights plank to the party platform at the 1948 presidential convention, in an effort to break the Southern conservatives’ hold on the party, 35 delegates from Mississippi and Alabama walked out in protest: the prologue to the “Dixiecrat Revolt” that began the conservative migration into the eventual embrace of the Republican Party.
Calhoun’s idea that states could veto the federal government would return as well following the decision in Brown v. Board of Education, as segregationists announced “massive resistance” to federal desegregation mandates and sympathizers defended white Southern actions with ideas and arguments that cribbed from Calhoun and recapitulated enslaver ideology for modern American politics. “The central question that emerges,” the National Review founding editor William F. Buckley Jr. wrote in 1957, amid congressional debate over the first Civil Rights Act, “is whether the white community in the South is entitled to take such measures as are necessary to prevail, politically and culturally, in areas which it does not predominate numerically? The sobering answer is yes — the white community is so entitled because, for the time being, it is the advanced race.” He continued: “It is more important for any community, anywhere in the world, to affirm and live by civilized standards, than to bow to the demands of the numerical majority.”
It is a strikingly blunt defense of Jim Crow and affirmation of white supremacy from the father of the conservative movement. Conservatives drove the groundswell that made Senator Barry Goldwater of Arizona, an opponent of the Civil Rights Act, the 1964 Republican Party nominee for president. He lost in a landslide but won the Deep South (except for Florida), where the white people of the region — among the most conservative in the country, a direct legacy of slavery and the society it built — flocked to the candidate who stood against the constitutional demands of the black-freedom movement. Goldwater may have insisted that there are “some rights that are clearly protected by valid laws and are therefore ‘civil rights,’ ” but he also declared that “states’ rights” were “disappearing under the piling sands of absolutism” and called Brown v. Board an “unconstitutional trespass into the legislative sphere of government.” “I therefore support all efforts by the States, excluding violence, of course,” Goldwater wrote in “The Conscience of a Conservative,” “to preserve their rightful powers over education.”
Later, when key civil rights questions had been settled by law, Buckley would essentially renounce these views, praising the movement and criticizing race-baiting demagogues like George C. Wallace. Still, his initial impulse — to give political minorities a veto not just over policy but over democracy itself — reflected a tendency that would express itself again and again in the conservative politics he ushered into the mainstream, emerging when political, cultural and demographic change threatened a narrow, exclusionary vision of American democracy. Writing in the 1980s and ’90s, Samuel Francis — a polemicist who would eventually migrate to the very far right of American conservatism — identified this dynamic in the context of David Duke’s campaign for governor of Louisiana:
“Reagan conservatism, in its innermost meaning, had little to do with supply-side economics and spreading democracy. It had to do with the awakening of a people who face political, cultural and economic dispossession, who are slowly beginning to glimpse the fact of dispossession and what dispossession will mean for them and their descendants, and who also are starting to think about reversing the processes and powers responsible for their dispossession.”
There is a homegrown ideology of reaction in the United States, inextricably tied to our system of slavery. And while the racial content of that ideology has attenuated over time, the basic framework remains: fear of rival political majorities; of demographic “replacement”; of a government that threatens privilege and hierarchy.
Eric Cantor, a Virginia Republican who was then the House majority leader, speaks to reporters in April 2011 during the lead-up to a standoff with President Obama over raising the debt ceiling. Jonathan Ernst/Getty Images
The past 10 years of Republican extremism is emblematic. The Tea Party billed itself as a reaction to debt and spending, but a close look shows it was actually a reaction to an ascendant majority of black people, Latinos, Asian-Americans and liberal white people. In their survey-based study of the movement, the political scientists Christopher S. Parker and Matt A. Barreto show that Tea Party Republicans were motivated “by the fear and anxiety associated with the perception that ‘real’ Americans are losing their country.”
The scholars Theda Skocpol and Vanessa Williamson came to a similar conclusion in their contemporaneous study of the movement, based on an ethnographic study of Tea Party activists across the country. “Tea Party resistance to giving more to categories of people deemed undeserving is more than just an argument about taxes and spending,” they note in “The Tea Party and the Remaking of Republican Conservatism”; “it is a heartfelt cry about where they fear ‘their country’ may be headed.” And Tea Party adherents’ “worries about racial and ethnic minorities and overly entitled young people,” they write, “signal a larger fear about generational social change in America.”
To stop this change and its political consequences, right-wing conservatives have embarked on a project to nullify opponents and restrict the scope of democracy. Mitch McConnell’s hyper-obstructionist rule in the Senate is the most high-profile example of this strategy, but it’s far from the most egregious.
In 2012, North Carolina Republicans won legislative and executive power for the first time in more than a century. They used it to gerrymander the electoral map and impose new restrictions on voting, specifically aimed at the state’s African-American voters. One such restriction, a strict voter-identification law, was designed to target black North Carolinians with “almost surgical precision,” according to the federal judges who struck the law down. When, in 2016, Democrats overcame these obstacles to take back the governor’s mansion, the Republican-controlled Legislature tried to strip power from the office, to prevent Democrats from reversing their efforts to rig the game.
A similar thing happened in Wisconsin. Under Scott Walker, the governor at the time, Wisconsin Republicans gave themselves a structural advantage in the State Legislature through aggressive gerrymandering. After the Democratic candidate toppled Walker in the 2018 governor’s race, the Republican majority in the Legislature rapidly moved to limit the new governor’s power and weaken other statewide offices won by Democrats. They restricted the governor’s ability to run public-benefit programs and set rules on the implementation of state laws. And they robbed the governor and the attorney general of the power to continue, or end, legal action against the Affordable Care Act.
Michigan Republicans took an almost identical course of action after Democrats in that state managed to win executive office, using their gerrymandered legislative majority to weaken the new Democratic governor and attorney general. One proposed bill, for example, would have shifted oversight of campaign-finance law from the secretary of state to a six-person commission with members nominated by the state Republican and Democratic parties, a move designed to produce deadlock and keep elected Democrats from reversing previous decisions.
The Republican rationale for tilting the field in their permanent favor or, failing that, nullifying the results and limiting Democrats’ power as much as possible, has a familiar ring to it. “Citizens from every corner of Wisconsin deserve a strong legislative branch that stands on equal footing with an incoming administration that is based almost solely in Madison,” one Wisconsin Republican said following the party’s lame-duck power grab. The speaker of the State Assembly, Robin Vos, made his point more explicit. “If you took Madison and Milwaukee out of the state election formula, we would have a clear majority — we would have all five constitutional officers, and we would probably have many more seats in the Legislature.” The argument is straightforward: Some voters, their voters, count. Others — the liberals, black people and other people of color who live in cities — don’t.
Senate Republicans played with similar ideas just before the 2016 election, openly announcing their plans to block Hillary Clinton from nominating anyone to the Supreme Court, should she become president. “I promise you that we will be united against any Supreme Court nominee that Hillary Clinton, if she were president, would put up,” declared Senator John McCain of Arizona just weeks before voting. And President Trump, of course, has repeatedly and falsely denounced Clinton’s popular-vote victory as illegitimate, the product of fraud and illegal voting. “In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide,” he declared on Twitter weeks after the election, “I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.”
The larger implication is clear enough: A majority made up of liberals and people of color isn’t a real majority. And the solution is clear, too: to write those people out of the polity, to use every available tool to weaken their influence on American politics. The recent attempt to place a citizenship question on the census was an important part of this effort. By asking for this information, the administration would suppress the number of immigrant respondents, worsening their representation in the House and the Electoral College, reweighting power to the white, rural areas that back the president and the Republican Party.
You could make the case that none of this has anything to do with slavery and slaveholder ideology. You could argue that it has nothing to do with race at all, that it’s simply an aggressive effort to secure conservative victories. But the tenor of an argument, the shape and nature of an opposition movement — these things matter. The goals may be colorblind, but the methods of action — the attacks on the legitimacy of nonwhite political actors, the casting of rival political majorities as unrepresentative, the drive to nullify democratically elected governing coalitions — are clearly downstream of a style of extreme political combat that came to fruition in the defense of human bondage.
