Question for the polin/bridgerton fandom

I’ve seen a fair number of posts complaining about how terrible the fandom is and how others (not the poster) are hating characters and actors and so on. And i’ve seen some posts by people who aren’t happy and are nasty about it but not many.

So, is this toxic fandom on some other platform (I only fandom on tumblr) or have I blocked all the right people?

Note: I’m not talking about disliking something about the show or writing up critical analysis but actual toxic behavior
