Before and after the everlasting winter of my hearth was a boy, a person, a human being of an unknown consort, sitting, standing, in a state of waiting, for something, or somebody, or nothing at all.

He stood before the blankness of his page-like face, not a single emotion could be read from the paradox of his presence, nobody could tell from where or when did he come, standing, sitting, still waiting for the night and morning after, to come.

Kingdom came to ruin, forests grew and burned, he stood still as a dead tree, as alive as a still rock, but chest rising up and down, lungs full of bugs and life around.

Eyes shiny as pearly water inked from the middle of a moonless night, but wide and bright, and alive, this boy was so much alive for a dead tree. Skin called ebony, dark red and brown, from the soil he was formed, he belonged to the ground;

He stood, waiting, standing and sitting, in the light of the sun, colors of the eons to come had coursed his body, expression of stone.

Maybe the time had passed, passed so much stone grew. Like a tree branch or a flower, rocks grew around his feet. 

Standing sitting waiting, he was as alive as a statue from the artist’s hand captured the vivacity of life.

But his hands were warm,

And from the canva of his face, the waiting expression had a meaning.

Determination was the end of its thought.

We stood there, waiting, sitting and standing, both at the same time, with him,

We looked where he looked, we breath when he did,

We tried to understand, connect to an enigma that we would solve when the land collapses and the mind resigns,

We were not rocks

Giddy in the universe

As liquid as glass in the grand scheme of time

We didn't leave a trace big enough

As the boy did our mind

Our minds were a trace he had been standing here, for eons and eons, eons

But nobody dared to touch his cherry plum lips, or his twig thin fingers

Even trees bowed in the majesty of his self

Standing, sitting, waiting

Waiting for what

Who Were When will he blink?

When will the time move

Move

Boy you have to move

Or your skin will crackle like the glass you call liquid

Time has no emphasis on you

But we wait

For you

To move

Just an eyelid Just a cell

Of your body covered in nature’s embrace

Boy of ebony, your waiting without meaning, for someone that won’t even arrive

Standing, sitting, waiting, still as you are

Boy of ebony

Children of the time

Dark everlasting summer

Eclipse solare.

Inventory Systems

An inventory system in art is a collection of tools, resources and objects that can be used to create art.

An example of an invetory system would be taking a range of photos that relate to the theme of the work that is being created, and then using the photos s inspiritaion of as assets that can be worked with for the final art piece.

The style I’m inspired by is called “mori kei” , it’s a Japanese alternative fashion, the name means “forest” ( mori)  kei ( not exactly sure what it means, but it’s put after fashion style names such as “visual kei” or “fairy kei”), it’s supposed to emulate the style of someone living in the forest, hand making all their clothes. 

search the tags “mori kei”, “mori girl”, “mori boy”, “dark mori” , “natural kei”( a more colorful version of the fashion) “mori kei fashion” etc on tumblr, insta and pinterest (a lot of times the pinterest ones are reposts from insta or tumblr so be sure to follow them through to their sources, let’s give them people love for their outfits <3)

check out  @kesstiel ‘s or @mai-magi ‘s mori kei or dark mori tags, they also have insta accounts with the same handle, but mai-magi doesn’t really dresses in the mori style anymore.

also check out @catinawitchhat also on insta with the same handle, she seems to be inactive on tumblr but is very active in instagram, I love love love her style!! big inspo for me, not just for moriesque outfits!

My other biggest inspiration, and I think some of mori kei is inspired by that as well is folk wear!! Especially Hungarian and eastern europian folk dress, but also anything with the same “vibe” like northern europian and midlle eastern , or mongolian or manjurian traditional dress are also sources of inspiritaion. uhh maybe check out my pinterest board “folk stuff”? If you look at my blog on desktop there’s a “menu” bar at the top , I have my pinterest link there  👍😶

I am so excited to read the next chapter of your fic I am also sad because you are one of the best writer and you said it will be the last one. Your work is so amazingly written and so pleasingly long. Hope you have more inspiritaion and write more maybe for this series or something else.

Thank you :’) I am really happy to hear that you loved this series - I just thought finishing 2021 would be a good place to stop - because on one hand I really need to focus on my real life obligations, and on the other hand I need a pause before I compulsively write myself into a burnout (been there before)…

Hopefully I can get through my work exams fine, then come back with more ideas for continuation of this universe or something else?

Daily Vlog #76 - Mexico Vlog day 2 - What to do in Sayulita - Today is our second day backpacking mexico in this beautifl town of Sayulita. We have decided to do one of the popular sayulita day tours by going to Marietas Islands. We booked a all inclusive tour with a boat called la chica loca. There are many types of day trips you can do in Mexico and this one included visiting the Marietas Islands combined with snorkeling, stand up paddleboarding and just a fun day at sea with all access to all the amazing boat amenities. We had a super fun day at sea and def recommend doing the tour if your down in Sayulita. It is very different than our normal trips backpacking southeast asia but we are having a blast. We also got to do a little whale watching, well maybe it even got to close, phew those wales smell ;) After a day of having fun visiting some amazing mexico beaches it was time to return home, well our AirBnB home ;) and then we finished it off with an amazing sunset at beautiful Sayulita beach. Thanks for watching and all the support and we are happy to bring you along on our adventures!!!

How to Vlog? This is the question I asked myself as I started out the new year. I am always looking to be more creative and I decided that this year will be the year that I start a daily vlog. So sitback and step into my daily life.

Vlogging is totally new to me, but I hope to bring you on all my travels, adventures and all around exploring.

A little bit about myself: I live in San Diego and love all things creative. I am a webmaster for work but do all sorts of things including design, photography and anything that involves using my hands or creativity.

My wife and I are avid rock climbers and love go to on adventures in our 88 Vanagon. We traveled to last year all around Mexico, China, Bali, Hawaii and throughout California and Neveda. I am hoping that 2016 will bring more excitement and more travels, so be sure to subscribe :)

I use a Canon 70d combined with a Canon G7X for all my Vlogs.

My reasons to SaveWOY part 2

Second reason is that WOY risen me from crafting hybernation and removed my creative block. I abandoned my hobby several years ago, but this show is really the powerful source of inspiration to make something. That's where these monthly figurines come from. But i don't know how long this inspiritaion from two seasons might last. A third one will be handy.
