asya thoughts dump 💌

1. Asya and Tre could be so. EIRGJRVRIEDH !! not to suggest like, the vaguest notion of romance (asya is probablyyy aroace, or in any case, far too occupied with guaranteeing her survival to devote her time and effort into something so frivolous and intangible), but in the sense that their feasible relationship could divulge so much about asya’s character. i assume they could be like, acquaintanced by their guardians (in asya’s case, her benefactors)— and Asya would find him to be totally insufferable LMAO but would endure his company on the hopes that their (albeit, begrudging) acquaintance might elevate her social standing.

2. in addition to the prior thought, i TRULY hope to convey how far-flung her character is from a measly, goody-two-shoes, saintly, meek, church-girl. i think her major character flaw would be how she would venture (and if the situation necessitates, guarantee) harsh lengths to ensure her own survival— even if it meant compromising her morals— and y’know, consequent to compromising her morals, she’d be jeopardizing her relationships with people— potentially using them for her benefit, and subsequently discarding of them once they exhaust their usefulness.

3. another point i’d like to pose, i think asya would be reluctant to associate (or in the very least, be seen) with Scraps when in the witness of the public eye. her whole shtick is that she’s like this “miracle golden girl”, a “treasure” amidst a city sunken in filth, or “the one good thing that could come out of the streets”, a supposed exception. her general trajectory of thought would be like— how she shouldn’t identify with the very thing she desires to escape from. this general notion could be conceived in her head independently but would probably be validated (consequently exacerbated) by her benefactors thay are so ardently keen on exalting her !!

4. if asya is aroace (tentative fact) she’d probably take on a celibacy vow as a means of circumventing around feasible suitors pining for her hand WITHOUT compromising the public’s desire for her and instead, actually further emphasizing this “unattainable and elevated ideal”. she would probably say it would be “most appeasing to the Father to witness the practice of prudence sustained amidst modern decadence” or something something super ecclesial and pretentious but would really just be sick of entitled rich boys LMAO

I lied, the omegaverse piss visions were NOT purged from my mind at all

I keep thinking about scenario that's basically combining everything that's been brought up with the knot-induced desperation + peeing on someone and scenting them (in omegaverse scent, specifically the pheromones that humans don't produce irl, is kind of a HUGE aspect which I feel could combine with the possessiveness part of piss very deliciously. like it still holds the inherent wrongness of, yk, piss not "belonging" in the bedroom, but in my brain there's a sort of animalistic urge to mark what's yours beneath it, obviously very inspired by the fact that dogs etc pee on things to mark it as their territory. like it's same possessiveness just amped up to 500, the cognitive and the biological multiplied together)

I'm thinking. omega!oscar riding alpha!lando, he could be in heat to plausibly explain why he hasn't taken a piss in a few hours at least but I kinda need him to be near the end of it already to drive home the humiliation of what's about to come (can't really care about anything other than getting a dick in you when you're in heat innit) lando knots up, oscar promptly realises that he really has to piss but has no way to escape, lando brushes it off (exactly as you wrote "you're gonna have to hold it") but oscar literally feels like he's going to burst. because of the discomfort, oscar is also wriggling around a lot and he does something that lifts the pressure off his urethra and allows him to let go for just a second. oscar of course would be MORTIFIED about the whole situation, meanwhile lando's witnessing how he's all squirming about and desperate and just thinks, Oh Fuck That's Really Hot - I want him to piss on me actually! etc etc etc lando talks oscar through it until his knot deflates and oscar has no choice but to let go all over lando. I really don't want to consider the cleanup operation that this would necessitate but it's fiction so I don't have to lmaoo. they prolly fuck about it in the shower after. lando smells like oscar for like a week and he keeps getting weird looks about it from team members. good god

I accepted this sub jobstudying IA to protect teacher. I did so I can find a way to protect artist and now I feel like I understand stuff to help us.

So, I talked about it. I have to study IA mecanism and (kinda) reverse engineer it has part of my job had the new member of the plagiat prevention team (aka, a bunch of university engineer nerd stuck in an old bulding with computer). I have to understand ways it work so we can teach people how to recognize IA art and prevent cheating in university.

I feel like I am going through a whole arc so quickly about it (call me DR. Strangelove) but let me give you a good and a bad news about what I have gather that can help all artist:

Bad news about IA art softwares :

Delecting your art from your blog, website, internet WON'T prevent his internalisation in the machine.

Story time: I was doing my usual report the other day (I have to do report for Eric the math guys who study ChatGPT) and I saw pass a submission with a drawing in it. Obviously not the OP art because I recognize it. It is Leahfuhrman, love his work, they delected their blog after IA ressurgence to prevent the machine from learning his art style... Wait... THEY DELECTED THEIR BLOG TO PREVENT EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING TO HIM NOW. So yeah, people keep other people artwork sometime, I know I do for inspiration when internet is off, but I won't repost it, or send art to an IA (except mine for test but I am not a good artist anyways). But people who are less involve and less educated about it 100% do.

You are not safe by delecting your art. (BTW, If you come across LeahFurhMan. Tell him it happen with his art and I am sorry to be a witness to that)

Good news about IA Art Softwares:

None of the try software can draw me a Kirby, and this is kirby ! everybody love kirby, he is the easiest to draw and it is not like nobody know him, he is kinda famous.

And the more obscure your blorbo is, the less likely he can draw something even CLOSE to it. The IA is actually really confuse about character who aren't IRL people. He mistake franchise, character and even type of game and when he cannot draw you what you want, he either give you a mess or a waifu for... Internet reason I do know.

By the ways I take that time to ask you. Do you have question about thoses IA ? Do you have idea or curiosity for me to study for you ?

Unlucky, the state I live in, hate artist and is pro IA. I would love a legislation to pass about it and be able to input my own experience but the truth is : The state kinda want to cut our fund right now...

Capt’s Log No. 41_ FrEeEeEEe

Meroe’s Juneteenth Jam was a great success! Lots of people came out and enjoyed the festivities and all the performances were so inspiring! One day we had 100+ people touching down on the sim and at the end of the event, Strawberry Linden herself came through, it was a highlight of my whole SL experience not gunna lie. Strawberry is a humble and gracious person and Secondlife featured our event on their socials the next day. It was all just really fun and it also happened to be my first time helping to plan and execute an event for the museum in my pops Ras’s absence. It felt really good to know I made him proud. .

H.E.R performed! I absolutely love the messaging in her songs, it was the perfect way to open up the festival and to solidify the vibes of Meroe moving forward. Juneteenth is not a holiday that my pops, or I, celebrate like that... for us, the movement is a constant endeavor. We dont stop with juneteenth in the unifying of our people and diaspora, or in the upliftment and teachings. Its something that has to continue until we are truly free in mind and spirit. We are almost there! But there is still a ways to go.

Father’s day was a difficult day for Yemi and I, her dad has not been able to get online and I honestly didn’t feel or think he would care anymore about us or her. We talked today though and are friends so when he gets back on the grid, he will spend time with her. He said she will always be his daughter. That made me feel good, I told him that now Yemi feels more like mine than before because we get to spend more one on one time together. Lol But shes still a daddy’s girl at heart.

We still in our pink lady era though, I feel like since I lost my old IG page and went through the break up with Wav, people who were following our work and union have since been on different vibes with me. We got a new dog, Orion! It took me forever to settle on a pupper that fit me and finally found this guy. My first choice was so opposite him, was a doberman! But I love Orion’s personality! It shines through more than any of the other pets I saw in the RezzRoom!

I usually write my little caption paragraphs under the photos and I realize these have all been above. I wonder which flows better. So I got accepted as a Secondlife Mentor! \o/ I literally signed up as soon as I saw the flyer I wasted NO TIME. Its something I was already doing on my free time anyway, so to be official with the tag and training it means so much to me, manifested that shit!

Last week I also got to witness my first probate, I have never been to one before and I know so little about SL greek life. It is a whole other world to me. I like how they raise money for RL causes. I think that is really dope and powerful thing that a virtual roleplay organization can still create real life change through their endeavors. It was such a honor to be asked by Gigi to witness that momentus occasion in her SL journey.

I legitly cried IRL. Anything that has to do with sisterhood, it hits home for me and triggers me deeply. I wish that someday I can be apart of that but I wont hold my breath! lol

I think its really cool that I am suddenly apart of a SL family, we’re so chill laid back and unofficial with how we do things. We dont all have to share the same last name we just uplift and support one another. I got my pops and my brother and my mama bear, DONT MESS WITH US!

The closing ceremony of juneteenth featured this great “Enter the diaspora” exhibit which is still up and you should go see it this week! This was curated by Valentine and she did an amazing job on it! I ended up DJing the party, and it gave me a chance to get in some much needed practice. I look forward to collabing with Jamrock and building up the mystory connections to its best!

The theme was comics, black and queer. I dressed as Nubia! Did you know that Nubia is a lesbian? I did not know that till I came to this exhibit. Theres so many hidden gems here!

so, like, idk jack about the lore to kingdom hearts, but the idea of an mc who’s from the game tingles my brain a lot so i gotta dump this out

i’m gonna keep this vague enough so that ppl can interpret the mc however they please (whether we be besties with the beach trio or some other group)

but this idea would fit perfectly since the two are a collab of sorts with disney, only difference is how they use it. kingdom hearts is about traveling to other worlds, which are the disney movies. with twisted wonderland, everything takes place in one world

so imagine a keyblade wielder mc that somehow winds up in twisted wonderland while going from world to world. something happens and they aren’t able to go back, maybe they lost a bit of their powers or the gummi ship they were on is somewhere between the worlds. whatever the case, they’re stuck and now have to reside in the nrc because it’s just their luck that they land there

idk how much they can reveal because of that whole world order thing and they probs don’t trust anyone with outside information cause it’s a school of villains lmao

the mc in this can still use their keyblade and some magic (if we’re going with the power loss route then i’m afraid your firagra has been reduced to just fire TwT) so they can chip in with the battles and show off how cool they are hehehe

Okay so, sorry this is a tad late, I've had lots of irl stuff to deal w because of the global panini, but I've had some free time this week to finally get to this! I’m hoping to make up for it with sheer volume of content to give you lmao >:)

You're very lucky I got back into Mark's content like last month lol, otherwise your ask would have oh so tragically stagnated in my ask box. Since you've reminded me of such a lovely little tidbit from this blog's past, I drew up a little something special for ya:

A redraw! Of sorts lol. I like to think my art has improved a bit since, what, 2017? 2018? But anyway, it’s them! I may do a few more sketches of them here and there if more inspiration strikes hehe

And as you asked, some headcanons for you as well:

- Dames does in fact use his cane when he snaps (think of it as instinctual lashing out when he's distressed instead of the peppy absentminded way Wilford will pull out a gun), though I think with all that goes on with the rest of the egos, he's probably learned his way around a knife or two to balance his out his skill set. The cane isn't always stained, but it's not particularly uncommon to see it sticky or crusted with red. Sometimes, when he's having an off day, someone has to advise Dames to go 'polish' it clean before it gets too grungy.

As for the Colonel, well:

- I think he's primarily called Dark, as ours is, but certain egos can get away with calling him the Colonel sometimes (usually Dames, but also egos he'd be more inclined to respect like the Host,  Dr. Iplier, etc.), so it isn't unheard of to hear him referred to in that manner. Plus, it's just very obvious in the way he holds himself that he was once a military man.

- The Colonel only sometimes wears suits. More often, you'll find him in a well fitted button up and slacks held up by suspenders. On rarer occasions, he'll wear a greatcoat or suit jacket over this ensemble.

- Since this Dark is made up of William and Celine instead of Damien and Celine, he lacks the portion of suave charm and wit that Damien brought to the table. Instead, he strikes me as a man that would have a more gruff, stoic charm, kind of like the older uncle everyone in the family just instinctively respects because of his strong bearing and self assuredness he exudes. If he's keen to make a good impression, he has the vibe of good solid drinking buddy you can fuck shit up with, type of guy not easily taken aback. You get the feeling he's tough but fair and has seen enough shit to not tolerate any bullshit from anyone.

- Everyone knows that Dark is a bit soft around Dames (not to say he hasn't caused the poor man emotional distress on occasion, this is Dark we're talking about), but he's also got that rough lumberjack dad vibe around some of the less powerful/overtly hostile egos like Erik. He isn't necessarily nice, he's more the 'fair and wise advice giver' type. Like an emotionally repressed parental figure that isn't particularly good at comfort but is very well versed in helping you get your life back in order. Very tough love and reality check sort of guy when he's trying to be supportive.

- That said, the Colonel is fucking big. This mf is built like a brick shit house on top of being some sort of conglomerate of eldritch horror, so when he's angry he's fucking terrifying. Our Dark is a powerful demon twunk in a suit with manipulative tendencies. This Dark is a demon beef cake that roars like a fucking feral bear when he's angry. When things are bad, they're bad, and the other egos tip toe around him the way a child would around an angry father (and if any notices that after a while the Colonel stops blowing up like that when Erik is around, well, it's not like anyone is complaining, character growth and all that).

- The Colonel can't stand himself sometimes. Just fuckin hates his own company every now and then. I think in general this version of Dark is just much more volatile than the one comprised of Damien and Celine. While siblings can bicker, the tension between what's left of Celine and William has got to be fucking insufferable. I don't know what the fusion equivalent for our Dark would be, but the Colonel definitely seems like he would have problems similar (if distinct) to Malachite from Steven Universe. William and Celine just aren't very good for each other anymore, especially not the forced together remnants of their souls bound by dark magic, and it really shows sometimes. If you thought our Dark seemed horrible, the Colonel is downright intolerable sometimes, even to himself. Learning to deal with it is a long, continuous journey for him, and he's had many, many, many bad slips that he fails to process in a healthy way. It's a long while before the rest of the egos start to be able to trust him (or at least trust that he won't threaten/scare them the next time he blows up).

- Everything has it's ups and downs though, and when things are looking up the Colonel is a surprisingly good listener. The other egos may be periodically afraid of and threatened by him, but Dark just as easily slots into the space of protector and trusted confidante when the need arises. There's something almost maternal in the way he guides the others, yet blunt and no nonsense. It doesn't reduce the healthy dose of fear and respect the others have for him, only further solidifies his capacity as a leader to them. Dark is surprisingly soft in these moments, and everyone he's lent an ear to treasures the experience.

- Dark sometimes indulges in painting his nails. No one ever dares ask him about it. Except Dames, only to say that he likes the black, but thinks that pink is much more Dark's color.

- When he's feeling more stable (and far less neurotic), and if the egos are lucky, the Colonel will sometimes sit and listen to old tunes play on a record player as he whittles away at a piece of wood in the common area. The rest of the egos will gather 'round to read, knit, nap, whatever they like to pass the time with. It's as close to family bonding as they tend to get in the early days. - Dark has a gun on him at all time that he rarely needs to use. He doesn't much like pulling it out, it tends to scare Dames.

- When Dames gets scared, or upset, or just all around has a very bad day, the Colonel learns to always be aware of it when it happens. Later still, he learns how to help with it beyond stern words and frustrated, fumbling attempts at care. After the early days have long become an embarrassing and unpleasant reminder of their sharp learning curve, if the other egos tend to occasionally find Dames and Dark asleep and tucked into some quiet corner of the manor together, well. The Googles happen to have a very secure cloud to upload the ensuing pictures to.

- Overall the this version of Dark has a different edge to him than our Dark does, meaning that the egos in this au have to deal with an angry emotional abusive bull in the early days rather than regular Dark’s deceitful and psychologically manipulative nastiness and snake-like tendencies. Not to ignore that, but I am a softie at heart, so I like to think that eventually the Colonel (and regular Dark as well) learns to process his trauma in a less destructive manner and treat the other egos, a found family of sorts, much better in the long run. I’m always a sucker for character development lol.

the line is from what we deserve!! it's a soulmate au where your timer counts down to the moment that you meet your soulmate!! bakugou's timer ends at USJ when he and kirishima attack kurogiri at the same time (impulsive kings <33) but kirishima's timer doesn't end until kamino because that's when he accepts himself as bakugous soulmate!! unfortunately, when bakugous timer has reached 0, he turned to see that kirishima's was still ticking and therefore believes that kirishima isn't his soulmate.

this line just,, idk. it's really sad. bakugou is such an action-driven character? if something doesn't go his way he Makes it go his way. he's got this insanely volatile quirk and he's got impeccable control of it!! but his love for kirishima isn't something that he can change and he's not going to ruin kirishima's chance of finding his own soulmate because he loves him and wants him to be happy. i really wanted to focus on how resigned he is? and how unusual that is for a character like him.

How do you conceptualize your ideas? (See specific moments like they're a movie, writing specific lines in your head, don't know until you put the words on paper, etc.) i tend to get inspiration from movies, books, poems, or other fics!!! sometimes one line just makes me go oh,, i want to write something like that,,, and then it helps me create an idea that makes me feel the same way?? i did this with control fraek!!!! i wanted a scenario where bakugou was cold and calculating and i was like hm. to do that he’d have to be focusing on something important. and from there i was able to flesh out the rest of the idea.

Which comes first: the pairing or the plot? with krbk its always always the pairing,, i'll be sitting there like wow <33 i love them <33 what if one of them had amnesia <33 (which, yes, wip!!) otherwise it's usually the plot!! and i slot in characters that i feel make sense

Have you ever used a prompt? yeah!! used a prompt for wlw week 2020 and it was fun as hell

What do you consider when writing your scenes? what goes into making the atmosphere and mood you want? to set a scene i do two things? the first is like,, the five senses bc that always sets the scene really well and makes it feel Real. i'll visualize stuff in my head like its a movie and write out what i would want to tell the set designer?? if the lights are low, if the space is busy, if it's supposed to exude comfort or not.

for putting forward the character's mood one thing i've found that makes a difference is sentence length!! long sentences are good for making a character seem flustered and nervous or not really in control of their emotions? good for love confessions. short sentences are good for when the character is focused on something or short on time. good for fights!!

What's something you never considered to include in your writing that you can't leave out now? def buff hagakure,,,, once i thought of it i was like. if i don't include this at least once in every single fic how could i look at myself in the mirror!!!!!! how could i face anyone!!!!

How do you start a story? establishing a fact about the character or describing the setting! option a is one single thread of gold, option b is between lion and men

How do you get out of writer's block? change something!! move something!! i go from typing to handwriting, moving from my bedroom to my living room, switching wips to work on something else!! i do sprints as well?? give myself like fifteen minutes to write something and sometimes 200 words opens up the way for another 2k. sometimes i'll just delete like 500 words and start fresh

Do you edit? or do you toss your writing out there? i edit!!! i'll go over it myself then send it to one or two betas (bee my beloved <33)

Can you tell us anything about your current WIP? sure!! i'm currently working on when it rains which is a fic where bakugou gets hit by a crying quirk!! i'm gonna be using it to explore So Much of all might's character and his relationships with bakugou and aizawa (and i think some people from his past!!)

Can you give us a sneak peek on your current WIP? “You did something. What the hell did you do?” Kirishima sounds pissed off. It would amuse Katsuki if he wasn’t fighting just to stay standing.

“Nothing he didn’t ask for,” Shinsou replies.

“K’ri… shima,” Katsuki croaks out. “‘S fine. Not him.”

His chest collapses back into the familiar dry heaving after that but Kirishima shuts up. He doesn’t apologize to Shinsou.

Kirishima’s a good friend, stubborn and loyal. He stands by Katsuki’s side like an attack dog, blocking him from the view of anyone ogling at his tears.

What's your favorite thing about writing? touched on this before but it's mainly just being able to write the things that i want to see and actually enjoy them!!! actually reread them!!!! i thought "wouldn't it be cool if bkg and kirishima owned a restaurant together" and then i wrote it and i like it enough to reread it!!!! being able to create content for myself makes me. so happy

How do you keep yourself inspired? this is gonna sound narcissistic maybe but honestly i'm just really excited about my ideas and where i'm gonna take them and the idea of "i'm gonna get to That scene" keeps me going through the entire thing. also my friends!!!! i'll talk to them about fics and their reactions keep me hyped up enough to finish!!!!

What is your favorite thing to write? just,, slice of life romance,,, stuff thats silly and makes people laugh!!

One way you've improved your writing since you began? characterization!! i think i've gotten better at writing characters that are all Different and bring different things to the table!!! i used to project a lot more and it would compromise the characterization because the character was like 70% me and 30% them? not to say that projection is bad but if you do it too much it just,, doesn't read like the character and from a reader's standpoint the narrative can become less compelling

One aspect of writing you're still working on? writing action!!! i. literally hate writing it but i write for a fandom about superheroes so. Unfortunately i gotta learn.

A piece of writing advice you've learned while writing saw this on another tumblr post but they said sometimes if you're struggling with a scene, the problem is five lines back. i've found that to be true!!!! sometimes u gotta delete a chunk and start a little ways back!! i did this with too busy being yours because i was stuck for Weeks and i deleted like 25% of what i had but it helped me actually finish it :D

Something you wish you knew when you first started writing? ,,,,honestly i kind of wish i could know some of the stuff that i used to when i first started writing?? technically i'm better now but creatively i was must better when i wasn't stressing about whether anyone would like what i was writing. so i guess i wish i knew that i should keep that confidence? i kinda wish that i wasn't as insecure about other people's writing styles because i never used to be!!

These are based off people’s sun signs i know irl (I’m obviously going to have my biases considering I have an air dominant chart yeet)

Aries: One of my best friends is an Aries! I LOVE HER TO DEATH. YALL ARE FUCKING CRAZY & I LOVE IT. but anyway Aries being stereotyped to being passionate is actually real. There’s just something about the way they talk about something/someone they like that just makes u want to listen to them ramble. They’re also really good peptalkers and make u feel good about yourself. They make u feel special too when ur being insecure/ laying out ur problems to them ! They can be a little upfront about how they feel/want (ofc depending on other aspects of their chart BUT) they do that to make things work. Having arguments with them can really be awkward for signs that don’t like confrontation/argument in general but they don’t hold on to that anger for long which is something I really really admire about this sign. Libra: Lmao my sun sign. I haven’t actually met a lot of Libras but based on the ones I know (and myself) we can be really really indecisive which I know tends to annoy other people but know that we do it bc we like to weigh our options and pick the best option that everyone agrees with. They can either be really fucking insane or the chillest people you’ll know. They’re very easy to get along with too. Capricorn: Aha here’s the other sign I have a love- hate relationship with. I’ve talked to a few of them and these people can literally be the most confusing and almost sneaky people I’ve met (they can be kinda passive aggressive). They don’t give their all to someone they don’t know for sure is willing to give 200% of themselves in return. However, they are also the hustlers of the zodiac. You probably wouldn’t know they have 3 side hustles and 2 main ones which is something I really admire them for. Their drive to achieve their goals makes you wanna work 10x if not a hundred times harder to achieve your goals and take on new ones. They’re most likely to also perform Acts of Services and can be really selfless people so treat your cap friends from time to time and definitely ask how they’re doing. They tend to bottle up emotions and don’t really know how to express them properly so be as selfless as they are too bc God knows they need emotional support as much as everyone does despite looking like they have their shit together. Aquarius: The cutest weirdos I know ! They’re quirkiness is endearing and some people may find it odd but it really just comes from how unique and original they are. Their fight for equality is really inspiring be it feminism, or any sort of cause to fight for rights is what they’re known for. They’re also the first ones to notice and call out inequality in certain situations and really helps people realize and see the hidden agendas/messages of marketing. They call out what society thinks is right and it’s something really cool about them. Keep being weird, Aquarius 👽

Pisces: I only really know one but from what I’ve gathered, they can be reaaaal softies. They’re really good at any form of art like painting and music. For some reason they’re given the talent of knowing exactly what gifts to give their loved ones? They’re really thoughtful and can be really selfless for their loved ones. They’re really good at making you feel understood and make u feel comfortable in your own skin and are the perfect home bodies tbh. Late night talks with this sign have been amazing so far and I would recommend telling a Pisces what’s been bothering u. Don’t put too much anger or negative energy into what u say to them tho as they feel their emotions physically too. This really close friend of mine who i might as well consider my sister told me she literally feels drained after having people tell her their problems. 11. What do you envy in other writers?

where do i even begin lmao. every time i read something good i’m like man, wish my brain could do That. it ranges everything from how they use language, to how much wit they pack in, to the creativity they have for world building, to the energy they have to write so much/often, to how much experience/knowledge they must have irl that i couldn’t possibly replicate. there is just so much good writing out there like yours that i envy/wish to emulate, but it’s also perfect inspiration to improve my own.

22. Do you reread your old works? How do you feel about them?

bitch ofc lmao i really be out here feeding myself. i wouldn’t have written this shit if someone else already cooked it for me. sometimes they do be cringey bc of how my writing/mood changes over time, but if there ain’t anyone else out here doing this for my faves then 😔🤘sometimes tho, i look back like damn i actually used to be better at this where did those brain cells go

25. What part of writing is the most fun?

at first i was gonna say seeing the one (1) scene i’ve been manifesting all this time finally coming to life, but i realized a lot of the fun i get from writing is sharing ideas with friends. even if a concept/idea never gets written, just spitballing back and forth with friends in the dm’s or gc’s and sharing that excitement is a really fun experience for me.

After some years or so, I’ve finally decided to return to the FFXIV rp scene with Luke as my fourth WOL that I’ve created. I just needed something new, at first, and to maybe dip my hands a little into writing original characters. I did write them before but not as much as I’ve written canon characters ( 98% of the time, really ). 

Q4: WHAT FIRST ATTRACTED YOU TO THIS CHARACTER?:

As I played his character in the game, his dialogues and thought process appeared in my head and there we have it.

Q5: DESCRIBE THE BIGGEST THING YOU DISLIKE ABOUT YOUR MUSE:

He’s rather internalized and indecisive. I probably wouldn’t get along with him very well irl since I’m usually very straightforward, swift and prefers not to complicate things lmao. 

Q6: WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN COMMON WITH YOUR MUSE?:

We are both really chill people and very introverted. Soft colours are our favourite too and uhhh... we are both pretty short ? but I guess this goes for a lot of midlander hyurs in comparison to elezens, roegadyns and au ra males. We like sketching too and are very, very vanilla physically ( i make a lot of innuendos for laughs though while Luke doesn’t ). But ultimately for me, I’m an aro/ace while he’s demi/demi.

Q7: HOW DOES YOUR MUSE FEEL ABOUT YOU?:

While we probably disagree with a lot of things, Luke probably likes the quiet, chill and need to be alone that comes along with me. There isn’t much opinion I’d imagine him having with me, other than the fact that I really need to do the shit that I wanted myself to do and quit adding more muses onto my full hands lmao.

Q8: WHAT CHARACTERS DOES YOUR MUSE HAVE INTERESTING INTERACTIONS WITH?

With my other muse, Laipheaux. While he’s often with Estelle, Luke really has a deeper sibling connection with Laipheaux because of how much he looks up to him and how Laipheaux is the one who managed to coax him into becoming more comfortable around people. He visits Laipheaux a lot and Laiph at times can tell when sometimes is weighing heavily in Luke’s mind but doesn’t pry. Luke was devastated when Laiph returned to the forest, of course, but becomes calmer when Laiph visits from time to time, bringing him small animals and minions as a show that Laiph still cares and that their sibling ship hasn’t eradicated. 

Q9: WHAT GIVES YOU INSPIRATION TO WRITE YOUR MUSE?:

Mainly, my love for the game. I’ve been playing it for a long time and I just can’t get tired of restarting the storyline over and over again. I still need to get past the msqs though but I have a blast playing it when Luke is on the screen.

A few hours, to be honest, since there are some questions that I need a lot of googling to answer.

1) When/what age did you start writing?

I started writing during the twitter fic era! What was the actual name of that site? It was an extension (basically) of twitter. Not twitlonger but? idk I dont remember lol

2) What inspired you to start?

I was in my Justin Bieber phase and saw a bunch of people writing fics about him on that site and decided to give it a shot lol

3) Where and when does inspiration usually strike you?

Watching a lifetime movie, sleeping, seeing a picture, my nonexistent love life, etc lol so like literally anything

4) Where and when do you usually write? Morning? Late at night? On the bus? In bed?

At night, but like early early in the morning is when I write my best content! So like 1-4 am I can write an AMAZING fluff piece.

5) Do you listen to music while writing? If so, what genre/playlist?

ALWAYS. I don’t think I can actually write without it? I create a playlist for every fic occasion. Each song is usually a love song but t create my playlists according to the vibe. Like if it was created as a love song but if I find a slow, slightly creepy cover of it you better believe it’s going into my stalker fic playlists

6) Which category do you like best? Angst? Fluff? NSFW? Other?

FLUFF. It’s the easiest thing for me to write despite the fact that I’m 100% inexperienced in the subject lmao

7) Which category do you find most challenging to write?

Angst, okay wait no... NSFW. Definitely. Like I can write a fight scene and “kill” my fave OC, but sex? How does one even gain enough courage or words to write that??? (big props to nsfw writers like i have so much respect for yall)

8) If you had to pick your favorite Choices book, which one would it be and why?

Um.... I have no idea honestly? I’m pretty neutral to all the books at this point. But I’ll always be a sucker for ILITW bc I was proven wrong in canon about some aspects of the book and i eat that kind of thing up. I love being proven wrong! Sometimes.

I’d like to FINALLY write flynn x mc. ALSO. my oc Kaden Cantarella (he’s set in the VOS universe) with ya know... me lol bc I’m in love with him

15) What do you hope to improve in your writing?

I need to be a lot more descriptive. I’m not good with like proper use of adjectives or anything. Like in chapter 1 of my stalker grant fic I said that grant threw a picture frame at Walsh. But I didn’t explain what had actually happened ya know, so like initially it wasn’t clear whether Walsh had actually been hit or where grant threw it, stuff like that.

16) Any pet peeves related to writing?

Everything, like I like writing, but I hate writing. Does that even make sense?

17) Are you inspired by any IRL experiences when you write? Care to share?

YES!!! Back in the marrish fandom sometimes I used to write based on things that had actually happened in my life or things I’d witnessed. Or like I’d take little bits of myself and insert them into the OCs

18) Is there any particular piece of work you consider to be your ultimate writing goal? Something so amazing you hope one day you’ll be up to that standard?

Ugh my unpublished, unnamed royal marrish au. I didn’t finish that one but it was coming along amaaaaazing. Also Thinking Out Loud (also marrish bc all my fics outside of this fandom have been marrish), like that was the first fic I wrote that I LOVED. I’d never liked my writing before then (still dont, not really, but I do it anyway)

19) Did/do you write for any other fandoms? If so which ones?

marrish!! (teen wolf, who?) once i feel comfortable enough with my writing again I’m gonna finish all those unpublished fics I was working on before my extreme case writer’s block started early last year (literally couldn’t write a paragraph again til a couple months ago)

20) In your spare time (when you’re not writing) what other hobbies do you pursue?

what even are hobbies anymore. All I’ve been doing lately has been fighting off anxiety attacks. um I love discovering new music though like that’s always been a fave!! oh and shipping myself with people I have no chance with lol that’s always fun
