Upon entering the room, Bram closed the door behind him as swiftly and silently as possible, then moved towards the bathtub at the center in a very similar demeanor; waking up Howard might be his objective, but he wanted to do it in a certain way and no other.

Such way was not exactly new and got demonstrated once he was close enough, for the vampire leaned in towards his sleeping partner inside the water, not minding how some strands of his own hair got wet in the process. How could he, when sinking his entire face to wake Lovecraft with kisses wasn’t exactly uncommon and got him even more wet? That time, though, he opted for getting his arms inside the water instead, carefully lifting Howard’s upper body to start leaving soft kisses all over his face with utmost affection.

“My dearest,” He said, still between kisses even after sensing him coming back from the slumber. “would you join me for dinner? Then either to bed or back here.” Both worked for him, since it was more about getting to sleep snuggling together than where they did it.

“Of course.” Bram didn’t have to pull away to notice the smile on Howard’s face, but he did so anyway because he never passed up a chance to take a look at it.

guys I had this realization the other day that Redwall works really well for reading aloud, and kinda half-remembered something about the author reading to kids? So I looked it up to see if I had made a connection.

And it turns out, yes, actually, because he read aloud to kids at a school for the blind. But all the books they gave him to read were depressing. So he wrote Redwall, a story about heroism and courage and making it through struggles, and filled it with so many sensory, visual details so he could give them something better and I just-- that's so wholesome-- help

he doesn’t give you the chance to ask any questions, really- not when he’s tucking your back into his side and slipping a large hand down your front.

long fingers slide your shorts to the side and immediately get to work, other hand holding your thighs open (more for his line of sight than anything).
