hopefully i'm not too late but can i ask what kind of tools you use when drawing twinrunes i reall like your art style and are a big inpiration to me in art

So I'm gonna try to list everything I use to make the comics:

my graphic tablet is a 13 inch (16:9) HUION Kamvas Pro 13 It's a relatively inexpensive screen tablet and I work well with it

for drawing I use Clip Studio Paint

the lineart I make with a simple lineart brush I got from a FREE starter brush pack made by Marc Brunet. You can find it easily if you look up the name.

most of all the general brushes I use are already built into CSP (the rest you can find on the CSP Material Asset store. ALL THE ONES I USE ARE FREE TOO!)

since all the comics follow the same panel format, I made a file that I can always reuse to make a new comic

to make things easier for me, I have a folder with all the references I need for drawing and writing

With shadow generations i've been thinking about Silver a Lot.

This will be a Long rant about a comic/concept that i will NOT be able to work upon, i'm a full time College student and work as an illustrator via Freelance, alongside personal projects ill say i feel like i have too much at hand but enough talk, concept below cut

As you'll see, this was inpired by Mephiles return, i can Dream abou a new silver campaing and i think a good villain would be Silver himself (Kinda inspired by an video i've seen years ago, if i remember wich one i'll link it in the comments).

Like, erased Silver being one of the remnants of this forgotten world, going back to his future to find nothing, learning how to time travel himself so he could save the life he wanted to have, but he keeps failing because he (his 2006 self) don't exist anymore.

Erased/06 Silver is a different entity than current canon Silver, whom i imagine have an ok future that sometimes is in danger so he goes back, fix things and everything is fine and rainbows again.

Borrowing the concept of multiple realities out of prime and dimensions cause Rush, Erased Silver trying everything he could to save his reality, his world in shambles and everyone that could have survived, he tried the chaos emeralds, not his as his world don't exist anymore, searching through dimensions and alternative realities were, even if he gater them all, they do nothing, even the Master emerald once, it just kicked him back to the nothingness.

So he becomes not quite a villain but someone desperate by all means to just exist.

I just think its neat the team discovering some new threat cause the Canon Silver said his future is starting to colapse but he can't trace the moment in time that explains why, just to fight something like the Time Eater but learning that the one pulling the strings is someone that seems familiar but they can't figure out why (different design, maybe masks like infinite or shade ya know). And he keeps the theme Mephiles started...

"I want to exist"

In his mind he's still a hero trying to fix everything and bring everyone back.

The more fanfic-ish thing out of this already fanfic-ish concept is Canon Silver or Good Future Silver being raised by Shadow cause i love their dynamic and think its neat, not in the board of "oh he's actually his biological father" yadda yadda (if you are thats ok, im in this boat if we talk about vincent and sephiroth) but id like an adopted father/tutor role cause my boy Shad have seem much and he cares about his friends, so if he saw little silver just waddling around you can't convince me he wouldn't take care of the little thing (and i love the idea of silver's bracelets being some kind of inhibitor, im still making fanfic at heart).

Also holy shit What im made of is back this was my whole childhood soundtrack alongside his world and i am all of me.

this is kind of silly i apologize but i really like how well you take people guessing what's gonna happen next because it really feels like you're rewarding them for paying attention to your story unlike how some people (not talking about anyone in particular just in case!!) would probably change the story just so they can feel smart and in turn punish people for enjoying their story and happening to guess what'll happen next because they care about the story a lot

To me, a big aspect of art is to be inspired to create, which will inspire others to create as well

I'm glad I'm archiving that, theories are an art and I'm inspiring people to do them, which then inpires me, it's a circle and I LOVE IT

Warhammer is some of the first fanart I have seen you draw, do you have other inpirations?

I get a lot of my inspiration just from my tumblr dash honestly! I'll try to make a Cool Artist List and add it to my website or something, I always forget when I'm on the spot.

It was nice to draw the mess-up twins being the besties/siblings that they were in the first seasons and always should have been. ¡Que bonitos era todo antes de veras! With this I feel even more that Star is the adoptive child of Angie and Rafael uwu

By the way sorry for the watermarks :’c I didn't think I’d have to do this for my comics and I never wanted to because the images don't look very good and it kinda ruins the aesthetic (it makes it look less canon, doesn’t it?aaaaaa*crying) But! I’ve notice there are Starco and Marco brainrots that repost my drawings (also one of them used a drawing for their own purposes) and they didn’t give me credits, I even asked them but nothing... no answer.

If you let me be honest I hate canon Marco and I don’t feel so inpired when it’s time to draw him. I’m getting used to it but unfortunately THIS MAKES THINGS MORE DIFFICULT FOR ME :’c so I’ll have to add some watermarks sometimes to avoid mean people that don’t respect my work u.u

Hi zuzu! I just wanted to ask how is your process while making comics, I always find them enjoyable, so I wanted to know how you match your ideas with drawings you make,

I wanted to put off answering this to show my process, but I'll make a separated post about it.

I usually get ideas when I think about/explore characters and concepts. I haven't figured out how to properly make a story yet, but my way of making the comic right now is creating a set up - and a punchline. Anticipation and conclusion.

I always have a conclusion or an event in mind I want to emphasise, and I make the details about it as I go. I read a lot manga to learn/take inpiration on how I can format the pages to fit the idea I'm trying to tell. I think it's very obvious whom I'm most influenced by if you've read their works, fujimoto and shuzo oshimi. But I always seek ways to expand my way of formatting.

But from what I know, fujimoto is one of the best mangaka authors who mastered the art of panelling. (re: watch this video https://youtu.be/VPpbQceVKOM?si=sLiiMW1aoocg2OIL)

Understanding the pacing of your story and what kind of mood/tone it has is also important. Research what romance looks like in comics, what depression is portrayed like, anger, numbness, comfort etc... what do fights look like, how a surprising moment can be achieved by the turn of the page. You can draw and portray it in whichever way you want, but Understanding the ground rules and interpretations first makes it cohesive.
