I was wondering, since you mentioned in your hybirb boys' episodes that you had really liked the idea of winged people in a kind of rusty steampunk world, if you had ever read the manga "beyond the clouds" by Nikie? If not, I would reccommend it to you! It seems to have a similiar kind of vibe to the one you've talked about before, but has some fairytala magic sprinkled here and there

are kappas eyes yellow or brown?

Bc when i look at them from a distance the look yellow vut when i look closely they seem brown w the yellow light of the scales reflecting in them.

It's funny how, to invoke Tomato 🍅 Siren, Kappa can just go and stay stuff like "hey, pretty boy~" and BOOM instant 🍅

But to invoke Tomato 🍅 Kappa, Siren had to go so far as to invoke some tendentious kink for Kappa to be 🍅 about it.

Like, Kappa is BY FAR the craziest of the two when it comes to outright flirting. BUT that's why whenever we see Kappa blushing in a teaser, I'm like "Siren, how? What the hell did you just say?" and I just CAN'T wait to find out lmao.

Is there any species of mer you really wanna show but cannot fit in the story by any reason?

To be honest I wanted to eventually do every single fish type that I knew of 😂 but that’s a bit ambitious.

There’s so many cool ones like lionfish and the mantis shrimp and I had ideas for characters but It’s just a bad idea for me to stretch the story on forever. It probably would have ended up on perma-hiatus.

I am really happy with the types I’ve been able to include and how the story has played out 👍

This may sound silly, but how does siren lay down with that fin of his? Like is it more floppy then being let on or does he full on not lay on it?

It like squishes to the side when he lays on his back. Their anatomy is a little bit cartoony at times lol.

Sorry if this is weird, but can Worm regenerate lost limbs like real-life axolotls? I can imagine that would scare the gills outta the rest of the crew.

I actually had a scene planned during season two where Arp loses a limb and siren gets really upset only for Arp to immediately grow it back in two seconds.
