Why dont you put the bonus chapters in the physical books on your patreon?

I would love to read them in the physical books but i cant because its too expensive for me 😞😞

They are book exclusive content so my publisher would be very unhappy with me if I posted them elsewhere.

I was skimming through the finale of season 2 when this caught my attention. I wanted to ask about it. It's while Kappa is addressing Lord Ogo and his prophecy.

Siren's face in the second image is what I'm wanting to ask about. I've always interpreted the expression as his reaction to hearing Kappa sound so forlorn/defeated.

But reading it this time, I took it as self-reflection. As in feeling remorse for having done something similar in his castle; claiming he wouldn't kill Kappa, to help him escape, to find another solution, but not having an actual plan on how to do any of that.

Am I just reading too far into this or did you have a different intention in mind?

Have you seen Arcane? Its written so well and the visuals are insane.. I really recommend it because my artstyle improved so much after watching it!!! It really is amazing and such a work of art 🥲🥲🥲.. Love you Wendyyy 🫂

so i was rereading season 1 and i dont know why did the ceiling fell on the guards. I mean i might be stupid or it was never explained (or maybe its gon be revealed in sez 4 idkkkk)

It was a little vague how it was portrayed but basically if something stars glowing red then it means the curse is interacting with the environment to cause the sharks harm.

If I could go back and redo the first season I think I would have tried to make that more clear or portray it different.

There's so many juicy tidbits of trivia in their too! Like Lord Ogo's name origins or that Kappa had black spots on his tail way back when. I’m trying to build up my Patreon because I want to hopefully use it to fund my next comic so I want to post on there a lot more in the future. At the moment I usually just post weekly.

hi, Wendy! ^^ you may remember me saying that I'd send you a little Q&A after I read all of the current episodes of Castle Swimmer. well, I just finished season 2, and it was ✨AMAZING!✨ your characters are so relatable and warm and silly, and yet you still manage to maintain a level of seriousness that keeps us engaged. ^^ so, I was wondering… …will Castle Swimmer ever be a TV show? like, on Netflix? Will Siren ever get a Worm of its own?

Does Worm have a tickle-spot? Similar to a dog? Like, if Kappa were to scratch him just right, he'd kick his little legs?

I like to think he has a danger spot where if you scratch it he will bite you on impulse.

I plan to make a webtoon and this is my favorite one so I was wondering if you had any advice :3

As long as you’re actively making comics you will learn and figure out how you like to make them as you go :) 👍

Some random tips:

It’s good to make sure it’s very clear and readable with an easy to read font.

Don’t be afraid to zoom out and show the full body of your characters with a background. Make sure every single panel isn’t just zoomed in on your characters.

If you change scenes it’s good to start off with an establishing shot that shows off the new location.

Study other webtoons and comics you like and take note of how they place their panels and word bubbles.

Experiment and have fun creating! :)
