Hii!! I love your writing and was wondering if you could write something w the k13 + ss and whether or not they would catch you if you fell. Mybe also if you jumped into their arms, like that one trend a while back (like if they were holding something but you jump at them, what would they do)/and maybe how they are with trust falls!

Would they catch you if you fell?

Naruto Uzumaki

He would catch you if you jumped, but he doesn’t even realize he did.

Then he’s confused because… what just happened?

He slowly puts you down

He’d always catch people in a trust fall too, but he can’t bring himself to fall back when doing a trust fall.

He wants to trust, but he can’t.

Sasuke Uchiha

Depends…

He might step out of the way if he’s not in a good mood or didn’t even process what you were doing.

If he likes you, he’ll likely catch you. Then complain.

Doesn’t trust anybody for a trust fall, but he’ll catch you if you do a trust fall.

Sakura Haruno

Catches you with full intention to do so.

She’ll hold you for a second cuz she’s strong and you don’t bother her.

When she does put you do, she asks what you did that for.

She’ll trust you for a trust fall. She doesn’t trust just anybody, so that’s a compliment.

And of course, she’ll catch you.

Puts you down like immediately.

He’s not doing a trust fall, he doesn’t care.

But if you screamed, “trust fall” and just fell back, he’ll catch you.

Choji Akimichi

Catches you without question. He didn’t fully realize what was going on, but he would do it over and purposely catch you too.

He will carry you around if you want afterwards.

Always catches you in a trust fall.

He trusts you and Shikamaru to catch him in a trust fall, but Shikamaru always loudly complains about it so more so you.

Ino Yamanaka

She catches you, but probably scolds you for just jumping on her.

Like give her some warning??

Especially if she had anything in her hands.

She can’t bring herself to fall back in a trust fall, even if she trusts the person. She’ll shout about not wanting to do it, but eventually she’ll do it to prove herself.

She always catches you, but some people will get dropped if they try.

Kiba Inuzuka

He probably does the same thing to you.

Like “CATCH ME” and a man that is way too big and buff is flying through the air, right at you.

So yeah he’d always catch you, but it comes with a cocky comment about how much you wanna be in his arms. Beware.

Randomly springs trust falls on everybody and gets pissed if they let him fall.

He will catch you.

Shino Aburame

He’ll catch you… but he’s so confused.

Don’t do that again…

He’s a little scared?

Might think something is wrong, but he kinda finds it cute when he finds out there is no real reason for it. Like you jumped in HIS arms? 🥹

He’s not up for the trust fall shit, but he’ll catch you if you do it anyways.

Catches you, but she is nervous and startled.

She probably says something heroic sounding like “I will never drop you.”

She’s sad when you get down out of her arms.

She’ll trust you in a trust fall and catch you too.

Neji Hyuga

Probably steps back and then gets just a little upset that he didn’t catch you, especially if you get hurt.

That or you knock you both down to the ground.

He’ll tell you that you shouldn’t have done that, but he’s sorry.

Same goes for trust falls.

He’s not doing them though, not unless you annoy him half to death to do it.

Rock Lee

He catches you enthusiastically, probably hugs you tightly too.

Now he’s got an idea, and next time, when you least expect it, he’s gonna do the same thing. He ends up knocking you both to the ground because at the speed he jumped, even if you catch him, you’re both going down…

Another type to scream “TRUST FALL!” And fall, and expect you to catch him. He will get up like nothing and say “let’s try again!” If you don’t catch him

Catches you and wraps her arms around you as she processes what you did.

She’s startled and maybe even a little alert, but when she pieces it together and realizes it’s you, she slowly puts you down.

She’s willing to do trust falls. She’ll catch you if you catch her. But if you prank her, she will give you that energy back.

Gaara of the Sand

He got startled and the sand blocked you…

He apologizes and probably lightly warns or scolds you about not jumping at him suddenly.

Tells you that you can try again.

He won’t do trust falls, but he’ll catch you with his sand if you do one.

Kankuro of the Sand

He let you fall.

Thought it’d be funny at first, but he’d feel like a total dickhead if you get hurt.

He won’t apologize though, but it’ll be obvious he regrets his decision.

Probably still tells you not to do sudden things like that, or more so, stop putting yourself in danger.

He’s not doing trust falls. If it’s the first time you attempt to jump or fall, again, he’s letting you fall.

Temari of the Sand

She’ll catch you, but immediately puts you down.

Tells you not to jump so suddenly.

Won’t do trust falls, even if she trusts you. Thinks it’s stupid and definitely not happening.

She’ll catch you though, then scold you for doing it.

Shikamaru

Bass player for sure. Can also sing, and he kind of sounds like Kurt Cobain from Nirvana?? Has a rough voice.

Also plays electric guitar, and which one he plays depends on the song. 

He's that really chill cool bass player that everyone loves. He has an insane amount of fan accounts, and couldn’t care less. However, he is really kind and chill to any fans he sees in real life. Totally ready to take pictures or sign an autograph. 

Him and Ino are constantly disagreeing, even over simple things. Ino almost made the band disband because of an argument they had over what song they should perform first at a concert. 

Terrible at piecing together music, but words are where he really excels. Him and Ino usually make their songs together, or each write a couple songs per album. 

Despite being a guitar/bass player his hands are weirdly soft…still calloused, but they’re quite nice to the touch. 

Also almost always high? He usually smokes before a show…says it helps him loosen up. 

He's not exactly afraid of performing in front of people, he just doesn’t actually like it all that much. Finds it too loud, and way too bright…

Ino

Singer! Can’t really do much else…doesn’t have the hand-eye coordination to play an instrument and sing. 

Much better at writing music than Shikamaru! Really good at making catchy, creative melodies. 

Sometimes Sakura helps her make music…they write a lot of songs together. Sometimes they sing together for fun as well. 

When she was young and found out Sakura was learning keyboard she tried to do the same…she embarrassed herself….

Also embarrassed herself in front of Sasuke trying to learn guitar!! One of those people that says “i can play guitar sooo wellll” and then only knows how to play a super easy riff. 

Has a very airy sounding voice. Sakuras is a lot louder compared to her, so the two voices blend very well. Ino is very much a soprano. 

Choji

The drummer! He’s very different from Naruto however. A lot less of a show off.

Very very timid. Not one to show off or talk big at all. 

However, when he plays it's like he comes alive. Not the rowdy, crazy, hardcore type like Naruto. The type where you can see it in their eyes, and it shows more in the accuracy than the strength. 

Like naruto however, has an incredible sense of rhythm. Not a fan making music, but can be helpful from time to time.

Known for being the friendliest band member. VERY eager to speak to fans, and always does after shows. 

Him and Shikamaru learnt their instruments together. It was a good way to keep the other motivated.

note: this is just something I decided to create on a whim, though I was inspired by a post on a clock app. i imagined how these characters might use social media, so here it is.

this guy’s the reigning king of shitposting. he’s got a knack for calling out anything he deems “overrated,” and he doesn’t hold back. his feed is a never-ending stream of complaints about everything from minor inconveniences to full-blown disasters. you might see posts about how his ramen was too hot or things like pineapple on pizza. he’s the kind of troll who wouldn’t hesitate to pick a fight with kids on roblox, turning every argument into a battle that leaves them in tears and scrambling to save face (konohamaru). he would also be the type to start internet beefs over the most mundane things. if you’re ever scrolling through your feed and see a heated argument about why a certain trend is lame, chances are he is behind it.

haruno sakura

the feminist and activist extraordinaire! she’s the type of woman who not only supports human rights in every way possible but also cheers on the LGBTQ+ community with gusto—because, spoiler alert, she’s part of it. she’s someone who’s fully aware of the impact social media can have and is determined to use it to amplify her voice and make a real difference. i also think she has multiple social media accounts like a pro—there’s her private twitter account where she rants about how messed up the government is, her ao3 account where she writes fan fiction with a side of social commentary, and of course, her tumblr where she’s a curator of memes, political discourse, and everything in between. god, bruh. this dude is basically a social media ghost—he hardly ever posts anything, but when he does, it’s like the internet has just won the lottery. he’s that guy who seems to do absolutely nothing yet somehow manages to grab everyone’s attention. he��s not really into posting on social media, but when he does, it’s always so aesthetically pleasing that you’d think he has a personal stylist and a professional photographer on speed dial. he doesn’t even try to make his posts look good; he just rolls out of bed and somehow manages to be effortlessly cool. man could post a picture of his breakfast and it would still get more likes than your entire feed.

nara shikamaru

this lazy ass (me) would probably end up being a streamer, posting about his win streaks and achievements in every game he plays. despite barely lifting a finger to do anything else, he’d be all over social media, bragging about every victory and high score. he’s the kind of guy who’d stream his gaming marathons from the comfort of his bed, racking up followers while casually lounging around in sweatpants. If there’s a leaderboard, you can bet he’s at the top, and he’s not shy about letting everyone know it.

yamanaka ino

girlie is the famous influencer! she’s always buzzing with posts about the latest fashion trends, beauty tips, and social events. like, you know, the kind of Instagram girlie who’s always flaunting her ootd and setting style standards. she’s practically a fashion icon with every outfit she wears. she’s also the type to post inspirational messages like “wear whatever makes you feel good” or “your body, your choice.” she’s incredibly popular across all her social media platforms and has a tiktok account—she’s all about those thirst traps and dance covers.

akimichi choji

my boi would definitely be the type to either watch mukbangs obsessively or become a mukbanger himself. he’d spend hours trying to replicate recipes he’s seen online, turning his kitchen into a culinary experiment zone. and you can bet he’d be posting all about it—sharing his attempts, successes, and occasional fails. his feed would be full of mouthwatering food shots and videos of him devouring his creations, proving that he’s just as passionate about cooking and eating as he is about sharing it with the world.

These two teams would have been the BEASTS of the spy network. Ibiki is desperately trying to convince everyone to join the Anbu squad. The biggest hurdle is Hinata being a Hyuga (her eyes can get stolen) and Shikamaru (he's just lazy).

Ino makes sure everyone looks polished. They're gonna learn what you had for breakfast 12 years ago, hunt you down and drag you back (dead or alive), looking like models whilst doing it ✨

anyway some random side thoughts i have about them.

In the part 1 anime filler Shikamaru does call on Shino and Neji for tracking a lot. I guess because Hinata’s a girl and they can’t let her do anything ever :/ truly bizarre. there’s literally a filler episode where Hinata goes “I can see paper bombs all over the village!” and everyone immediately turns to Neji and doesn’t do anything until Neji confirms it. i hate this show.

doyalist sexism aside, Shikamaru heavily relies on Shino and the Byakugan’s sensory abilities to formulate his plans and so I think he very quickly grows used to having team 8 with him when Tsunade lets him form a squad. It helps that they spend a lot of time together (thank you senseis dating) and I’m sure that aside from his own squad, they’re the ones he relies on most.

Choji and Kiba are probably the front line fighters, with Shino and Ino backing them up and Shikamaru at mid-range advising/strategizing. Hinata probably pulls double duty as their long-range sensor and a close range fighter/flanker when things get hairy.

everyone on both teams gets along well but it’s a struggle to get Kiba and Choji to get along at first. Kiba is a bit of an asshole (understatement) and Choji isn’t a huge fan of how aggressive Kiba is. Kiba, for some fucking reason, just canonically doesn’t like Choji when they’re younger. I’m sure there were a lot of fights and a lot of insults thrown around before Shikamaru and Ino got them to sit down and shut up.

Ino tries her best to keep the squad polished but it doesn’t work so well when they’re younger lmao. When they’re older tho…. most fabulous and on point squad out there. your other faves could never.

kiba the leather jacket wearing hottie, ino ‘every outfit i wear has been on point since age 12’ yamanaka, choji who is canonically referred to as the most handsome chubby guy in the leaf (insane statement but still), shikamaru who somehow serves while wearing the standard chunin uniform, shino’s mysteriousness inherently makes him hot, and hinata with her silky hyuuga hair and flawless skin

their formations are tight, their teamwork is seamless, their communication is solid, and they look good while doing it all. ibiki is in a corner crying. he wants them to come work for him so bad.

Have you ever thought of hanabi and yuutas wedding and if so could you share some hcs

I’ve thought about it a little and I just know it would be a little sweet and of course Yuuta-ish

Yuuta would have wanted to elope and just get married at a temple.

Something small and intimate, but being with the Hyuga heiress means that’s not really an option

And being the son of Ume Yamanaka and cousin of Ino Yamanaka also meant that wasn’t happening

So he would let the three women handle to details and only give step in if he felt they were overwhelming Hanabi

The day would be a dizzying blur until he hears Hanabi’s footsteps approaching him

One look at her ethereal self dressed like a bride would have him all to aware of everything and nothing but her at once

He’s going to cry and Hanabi is going to giggle about it while wiping his tears with her sleeves

She’ll tease him better stop crying like that before her father changes his mind about handing over his daughter, but really she thinks it’s sweet

That is until Yuuta teases her back while caressing her that they can squeeze in a quickie before the ceremony without anyone finding out

That’s the guy she loves and is marrying, sweet, spontaneous, and unseemly but he’s going to have to wait this time

She’d simply tell him he’d have to wait and stop trying to lewd his nerves away. He looks great and everything will be fine

Cue him giving her a serious embrace that almost ruins her hair

Hinata would have to be the one to remind them that they actually need to attend their ceremony

Hanabi giving him soft smiles and winking at him mid ceremony would give him butterflies he’s too damn old for

Falling in love with her all over again because she’s just too perfect in all situations

Dumbly saying ‘I love you so much’ loudly mid ceremony, making some guest giggle and the officiate tell him to save it.

Ume would be taking so many pictures and taking her husband’s ear off because she so excited

She would have also invited the monk that Yuuta spent the most time with no he can’t believe this guy convinced someone to marry him but here they are

His father would tell him he’s proud of him and he knows Daisuke would be too.

Their friends (and a few of their kids) family are all there to watch and celebrate with them

Ino and Sai will get a bear hug and Ino would tell Yuuta he’s Hanabi’s problem now

To which Inojin would remind her that he’s still going to be their same problem as always

Hinata would be congratulating them with the biggest smile while her son ask if this means he gets to eat at their restaurant for free like Hima, Inojin, chocho, and Shikadai now

Hanabi will pinch Yuuta for finding out he was charging her nephew full price

Hiashi would get hugged off the ground at some point by his son-in-law

Yuuta will manage to act behave the whole time and just smile to himself whenever someone calls Hanabi his wife

His wife.. he’s going to kiss her beautiful lips again and again because he’s feeling content. If the guest don’t want to see that, look elsewhere. Because it’s happening.

Once everything is said and done, Hanabi would ask him if the offer from earlier was still good and he’d laugh before telling her it’s been revoked

Because nothing will be quick about their wedding night
