Nettles as the Cannibal's rider.

This is a sentiment I keep seeing a lot, and while I won't speak on the leaks more than I have, this idea is a bit interesting to me..

The Cannibal as a dragon is a wild dragon, meaning it has little hunan interaction and loves on its own. Its diet is both people and dragon eggs/hatchlings. It's meant to be a direct symbol of the carnivorous act of war among the Targaryens. It's one of the oldest draogns alive, one of the biggest as well. It marks the internal conflict of house Targaryens, nothing but a dragon can end itself so well. Its cave is littered with the bones of humans and hatchlings alike.

I'm a firm believer in dragons reflecting their riders. Nettles is one of the most obvious cases. She's a sheep stealing brown skinny girl on her sheepstealing brown skinny dragon. They're bond is also unique among any other riders we know.

It's more akin to the power and status a girl would gain from a marriage to a Targaryen. Power, protection, wealth, and honour. It's a blood sealed relationship similar to marriages in Westeros with the maidenhead idea as well as the blood drawn in Valyrian ceremonies.

So to change her narrative and giving her the Cannibal as her dragon does change the narrative of her character quite a bit.

If her dragon is the idea of Targaryen in fighting, she becomes the symbol of the war. A personification of the conflict. On one hand, because the Cannibal has his own plot with Sunfyre (rip my beloved grey ghost) and a symbolic departure after Corlys passes, Nettles can be kept in the narrative longer but she can also cause way more conflict. Like have her not being a dragonseed be an actual dividing line between people, have her be a conflict between Jace and Rhaenyra, Baela and Jace, Daemon and Rhaenyra and so on.

That dragon is chaos, let's see her devour the house from within.

Also, this adds to another point of how Nettles claims this dragon: Is she feeding kids or stealing eggs? Or is she waiting until after it eats other dragonseeds to get closer?

While I don't think it will happen, I do plan on watching the show before making any theories or coming to any conclusions on arcs for my favourite characters, it's an interesting idea.

Rhaena on Sheepstealer likewise causes a similar issue, but I'll wait for the show (maybe) to voice that thought.

Just putting it out there that Beel has a flat effect going on, and at times he will attempt to be sarcastic but it totally backfires and he doesn't feel like correcting them. It's not that he's intentionally manipulating you half the time, he just assumes you can understand the difference between his usual flat tone and the sarcastic flat tone (but they're fucking identical).

He's still a demon, he's infamous for eating people alive (demons, humans, doesn't matter), but people still let their guard down around him... Granted, if they're not someone he wants around later like you or one of Diavolos important socialites, he fucking eats them. He actually finds it kinda funny how he's like an anthropomorphic venus fly trap. People know he's capable of eating them, but they still let their guard down if he's still enough, and acts like he's too chill to cause harm.

It works in his favour so he doesn't really care, plus it makes you trust him more and more even though most people will tell you not to.

I would like to introduce you to my recent Oc and give you some information about her! I think you will find her interesting!

Molten Lava Cookie

It is a native Dragon Valley cookie.

She loves cooking and always wants to learn new things….

But, in the kitchen, you have to experiment with all possible foods, don't you?

Molten Lava Cookie was lucky enough to taste dragon meat, as one died near her village.

It was delicious, but then she realized that not only was the health of the people at its peak, but they had acquired temporary fire protection and strength beyond her comprehension.

It was the dragon's flesh and blood that they enjoyed eating.

But, being temporary, the effect faded and many began to fall sick and crumble.

Molten Lava realized that, they needed more dragon meat to remain indestructible! So like the good cookie she was, she hunted more dragons.

She captured and gobbled them up, ending up with the creation of dragon head stew, one of her best foods.

On her hunts, she met two cookies with the same fervent desire to fight, too bad they didn't accept the first class food she served.

One of the last dragons he was able to hunt had an egg, but when he finally killed the dragon, the egg was gone, he was very frustrated to think that he could not boil that egg to spice up his stew, but at least he was able to keep a gem.

a gem that was once embedded in the forehead of that dragon, from the moment he held it in his hands, he felt its power.

So why not create a weapon to slay dragons faster?

He created his first weapon, a gauntlet that was able to use the power of that dragon, but after some time, the once pink gem was now darker.

Then he learned of the birth of Hollyberry's granddaughters, he decided to give the gauntlet as a sign of respect between them, until he saw the newborns.

One of them was as pink as her grandmother but the other …. had strange marks on her cheeks ….. were dragon marks.

Molten Lava knew how to recognize the traits of a dragon, and if that newborn had them… then she was a hybrid…..

She almost felt so happy, a hybrid! Because, if dragon meat was delicious… …. how would that of a hybrid taste?

Hollyberry sure wouldn't mind! Dragons were a pest after all! She even had a dragon as an enemy! Then I'd do her a favor and make that child disappear….

The day he managed to catch the hybrid, was also the day that many of his village found a dragon nest in an archipelago, they were going to make a feast…

But everything had to be ruined by someone not happy with this…

The last thing Molten Lava saw was pink fire surrounding a cookie with scaly wings and carrying that hybrid…… was another hybrid….

That night the village was extinguished and there was only one survivor….

Yes! I will say I think it's almost exclusive to the Fore tribe of Papua New Guinea, as it was contracted via funeral cannibalism. I think they ate the brain of a person who had some sort of disease that developed into Kuru. I do believe it's been nearly eradicated as they no longer perform funeral cannibalism due to kuru and the last known case was between 2005-2009.
