I can't handle change is my favorite song today
PT: I can't handle change by Roar.
ID: the cover art of the EP I can't handle change, it features 2 simple black and white drawings of a man in a black suit and a woman with no body but with long black hair. under the drawings is the text ROAR with x-es where there would usually be circles in that font.

When you put it into words It's comfortingly bland There's so little left to understand
[..] "If you could be proud of anything you've done What would it be?"

A good place to look to the future
Is when you are sat at the sea
With the salt up to your ankles
And a view of the end of the pier
You may look down at your model's feet
And wish that you’d just float away
And the weather here is overcast
And the sea is the same shade of grey
So the landscape before you
Looks just like the edge of the world
But to the left side and the right side
Either way is a crazy golf course
The sea is a good place (The sea is a good place)
To think of, to think about the future

I adore how this song that seems to not be all that sad (in ambience/tone/vibe/instruments), just casually goes like "I don't feel safe at all".
like yeah sure I can't trust the fall. But "I don't feel safe at all" is a lot more. A lot more.

Motivational punk
I won't sit around all day cause life means more to me
Wake up and live
So many kids content to sleep their lives away
But I'm gona try to make the most out of every day
Each day, wake up and live
It takes some motivation It takes some love for life
I won't sit around all day and let my life pass you by
PT: wake up and live

I'm popping in here because I don't know if you've stated this anywhere before or not but I'm curious, favorite albums or songs by car seat headrest. Or just by will toledo doesn't have to just be purely csh.
Difficult question. I change my mind on a lot of CSH songs a lot so this will probably not represent my feelings by tomorrow but here:
favorite albums:
Teens of denial (especially Cosmic Hero & The Ballad of Costa Concordia)
Nervous Young Man (especially Jus' tired & knife in the coffee. I am torn about the gun song but sometimes I really like it)
MADLO: remixes (especially deadlines - yeule remix)
Commit yourself completely
Favorite songs comes in different categories so here, the Delux edition answer
The classics (to me):
Ballad of Costa Concordia
beach life in death
sober to death
Fill in the blank (probably one of the first csh songs I listened to)
songs I resonate with sometimes and like a lot when I do but otherwise won't listen to:
Times to die
Oh! starving
Dreams fall hard
Plane Crash Blues (I can play the piano)
I hate living
happy news for sadness
Recent favorites:
Los baracchos (I don't have any hope left, but the weather is nice) - the monomania version
Other songs I like a lot (usually listen to in certain periods and then stop):
misheard lyrics
is this dust really from the Titanic?
Death at the movies
overexposed (enjoy)
Old favorites I don't listen to much anymore:
Something soon (usually the teens of style edition)
The ending of Dramamine
Songs I like (and listen to as a normal):
Not what I needed
Sunburned shirts (I actually regret this one because it would work good as a "I feel like shit" song if I wasn't used to it)
Kimochi Warui (when? when? when?)
I want you to know I'm awake/I hope you're asleep
Nervous Young Inhumans
Drunk drivers/killer whales
Bandcamp favorites (that I don't listen to much because they're on Bandcamp only):
(inside) the bell jar
Portrait of the artist as a young fag
beach death

It's a Los Borrachos (I don't have any hope left, but the weather is nice) type of day. Also a good day to BOOP but yeah. (boop my main @unionize-aromantically)

It's a sober to death kind of evening. Not necessarily the actual themes, when I look into it it sometimes starts to be less relatable (like, I am deeply aromantic for one). But just the parts I notice, those are nice this fine evening. When punching mattresses gets old don't think it'll always be this way. Not comforted by anything I say. You can text me when punching mattresses gets old. We were wrecks before we crashed into each other. Nothing works. Nothing works. Nothing works. Nothing works for everyone. Nothing works.

Ikke la deg rive med - Honningbarna
Med retoriske grep står de og brøler
Enda ikke et argument har blitt sagt
Det appelleres til det innerste i sjela
unofficial translation:
With rhetorical tools they stand shouting
Yet no argument has been said
It's being appealed to that innermost in the soul
(Norwegian punk hell yeah)
song length: 1:50, album: Verden er enkel [the world is simple] (label: Nye Blanke, 2013)
Spotify / youtube / official store (cd)
(sidenote that idk if that translation is entirely grammatically correct, I never see the passive tense thing used in English, but I didn't really want to change the tense in my translation, feedback welcome)

me: "I'll get this song to 1000 listens without any help easy-peasy"
me multiple months later: *only listened to it 100 times*
... I may have overestimated how easy it would be.
but yeah context: Songs with over 1 k listens can earn money, this artist has 7 monthly listeners on Spotify. (though as this artist also exists on Bandcamp he's probably earned some money on the song/album.)
