Find Expert Skilled In Home Nursing Care on Kizuna - Kizuna
“Home is where healing happens best, and compassionate in home care makes that possible.”
Why In Home Nursing Care Matters?
The Growing Need for Home-Based Care
The benefits of skilled in home nursing care go beyond simple medical assistance. Home care allows elderly individuals or those with chronic conditions to receive care in a familiar setting, which can significantly improve their emotional well-being. According to the AARP, nearly 90% of older adults wish to age in place, highlighting the critical need for accessible, home-based healthcare options.
“Most older adults want to remain in their homes as long as possible, and this desire has only intensified over recent years.” — AARP Public Policy Institute
Supporting Families and Individuals with Specialized Care
Skilled in home nursing care helps address both physical and mental health needs. Studies show that patients receiving home-based care experience fewer hospital visits and higher satisfaction rates than those in institutional settings. For many families, finding skilled caregivers trained in mobility support, medication management, or specialized needs like dementia care is essential. This is where Kizuna steps in, offering access to various caregivers with verified skills and experience.
Challenges of Finding Skilled In Home Nursing Care
Limited Availability of Qualified Caregivers
With a projected shortage of 151,000 caregivers by 2030, finding a skilled inhome caregiver can be daunting. Many families face long waitlists, high costs, or difficulty verifying caregivers’ backgrounds. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, home health and personal care aide employment is projected to grow 25% from 2021 to 2031 — far faster than the average for other occupations — indicating high demand but limited supply in the industry.
Ensuring Trust and Compatibility
It’s not just about finding someone with the right skills; it’s about finding a caregiver who fits well with the family’s needs and values. A recent study found that 75% of families consider “compatibility and personality match” one of the top three factors in choosing a caregiver. But assessing these qualities without meeting caregivers in person can be challenging.
“The bond between caregivers and patients is often as important as their skills. The right match can lead to more effective, compassionate care that positively impacts quality of life.” — Donna Benton, Director, USC Family Caregiver Support Center
With over 73 million Baby Boomers aging, the demand for skilled in home nursing care is expected to grow by 54% by 2030. Research further highlights that elderly patients receiving in home nursing care report a 30% lower rate of hospitalization compared to those in nursing homes, underscoring the role of in home nursing in enhancing quality of life. Additionally, families using skilled in home nursing care save an average of $1,500 monthly compared to those opting for assisted living facilities.
How Kizuna Makes Finding Skilled In Home Nursing Care Easier
Access to Verified Caregivers
Kizuna’s platform allows families to search from a curated list of caregivers who have undergone extensive background checks and skills verification. With a range of options, families can find caregivers with specific expertise, such as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to meet various levels of in home nursing care needs.
Personalized Care Matching
Kizuna makes it easy for families to compare qualifications, experience, and availability by providing detailed caregiver profiles. This transparency in caregiver profiles helps families feel confident that they’re making the right choice, allowing for a more personalized experience. Kizuna also provides direct support through care coordinators who guide families through the selection process.
“Navigating caregiving is not easy for families. Having dedicated coordinators can alleviate stress and ensure the best outcomes, allowing families to feel supported at every step.” — Jennifer Olsen, CEO, Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers
Flexible and Transparent Cost Options
One of the most common concerns with in home care is the cost. Studies indicate that the median cost of in home care in the U.S. is around $4,500 per month, a significant financial commitment for many families. Kizuna offers flexibility, allowing families to select care based on hourly, daily, or long-term needs, providing more control over expenses while ensuring transparency with no hidden fees.
“While home care is an investment, families typically see a 30% savings compared to other care options like assisted living, making it an attractive option for those seeking quality, affordable care at home.” — National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC)
What Sets Kizuna Apart?
Industry-leading screening and Background Checks
According to the Home Care Association of America, over 50% of families worry about the qualifications and trustworthiness of caregivers. Kizuna addresses this with its rigorous vetting process. Every caregiver on Kizuna’s platform goes through a multi-step verification process, including background checks and skill assessments, aligning with industry standards for safe and trusted caregiving.
Less than 10% of caregivers who apply to Kizuna make it onto the platform.
Higher Earnings for Caregivers, Higher Motivation for Care
Kizuna’s model is unique in that it focuses on caregiver satisfaction as a core part of its mission. Studies show that caregivers who are well-compensated tend to provide better quality care and report higher job satisfaction, leading to lower turnover. Caregivers keep everything they earn on Kizuna. We want to avoid any impression that we set rates, which we don’t, since we’re not the employer.
The family and caregiver negotiate the rate, Kizuna supports caregivers, which translates to a more motivated, reliable workforce for families seeking in-home nursing care.
“Research shows that patients receiving care in their homes have better health outcomes, report higher levels of satisfaction, and have lower hospitalization rates compared to those in institutional settings.” — Dr. Bruce Leff, Professor of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University
Dedicated Care Support
A standout feature on Kizuna’s platform is the dedicated care coordinators who are available to help families at every step of the process.
“In a survey by the Family Caregiver Alliance, nearly 40% of caregivers said they lacked adequate support and resources. Kizuna fills this gap by providing a dedicated support team that not only helps families select caregivers but also addresses any concerns during the caregiving journey.”
Finding the right skilled in-home nursing care is about more than just healthcare — it’s about trust, compatibility, and ongoing support. With platforms like Kizuna, families gain access to a streamlined way to find verified, skilled caregivers who not only bring expertise but also a genuine commitment to compassionate care. Work was such a shit show
My shoulder is absolutely killing me.
Things were fine till about 5 pm. My client started refusing to use the gait belt completely and became combative. She said to just hold me which I called my work and they said okay. So she starts to refuse her gait belt more frequently and stops wanting to use her walker and I told her you cant stop using your walker and she got pissed off and yelled at me (oh well)
dinner time happened and my client started complaining about the oxygen concentrator being too loud and the daughter is like lets move it. And all of my knowledge Ive always been told not to move the concentrator like they will move it throughout the house daily and I was always told to keep it in one spot.
Then the daughter gets sassy with me and says that “well she needs to go on walks outside” and Im like seriously? She can barely make it to the bathroom without panting and wanting to flop on the toilet PLUS there’s nothing for her to sit on if she needed a break outside like shes so dumb she literally thinks she knows more than I do because she’s older but Ive been doing this nearly 4 years I know what is safe and what isnt. I know what to do. Just because im 21 and young doesnt mean I am not knowledgeable
. Ive been working my ass off at your mothers house dealing with elder abuse from you guys that I keep reporting and no one giving a shit. I cant go a single day without reporting something to my work. Its rediculous.
