I've mentioned before that the husband and I are in the process of buying a house and that has NOT been going well because the fuckers selling the house DIDN'T HAVE THE GDAMN TITLE so for the last few weeks we've been desperately trying to get it declared lost and have it replaced (which is basically just a reprint of the title).

This has been stressing us out because we've had to renegotiate a lot with the various companies we've retained to work on the house and property so we don't have to pay some exorbitant fines.

Primarily, I've been working, scrolling twt on my phone, coming home and just collapsing on the couch with the house phone in my hand to talk with my realtor, the bank, the contractors, and my mother-in-law trying to get things smoothed out and back on track.

Y'all, I'm exhausted and very frustrated, but I am alive.

I'll slowly get back in the swing of things and jump into all the posts I was tagged in - I TOTALLY SAW THEM BUT HAD NO SPOONS LEFT IN ME -, and start reblogging all the fabulous art and fic and discussions I've seen!! So muuuuuuuuch to catch up on but I'm really looking forward to it because, honestly, it's so relaxing to just engage in fannish things and let my brain be saturated in serotonin.

the only way id accept jazz frequently going undercover as a decepticon in fanon is if how he does it is just by being nice and funny. like i bet any decepticon would spill massive intel if they met this guy who made funny jokes and offered to clean their guns sometimes. sure they'd like to punch the rookie around but they mellow out pretty quickly and soon enough they're telling the new guy every detail they know about high command over a few drinks and letting him through restricted areas

I've largely been quiet the last several days and I apologize. There's been so much fantastic art, fics, and thoughts I've been browsing on my phone but haven't reblogged/commented on because I'm terrible with the mobile app. But also because - and I might still be reeling a bit - had our offer accepted on the house we wanted. We just paid the earnest money and now just waiting to coordinate with the independent inspector for their walkthrough then it's a nebulous period after that for all the documents to be submitted, reviewed, and signed. Buying a house is stressful AF.

It doesn't even have to be weird. You could just really like the ocean, or horses, or whatever. And I just realized what I'm getting at is that Simon would love a neurodivergent partner...

And he would!! He'd listen to you ramble and rant, and he'd be making a mental list of things to look for when he buys you presents. You could be hyperfixated on literally anything, and Simon would find a way to get you a present related to that interest. This man would move heaven and earth, if it meant making you happy.
