What is TMNT: Inverse? So glad you asked! Inverse is an indie animation project that is working to bring our original TMNT iteration to life with an animated series!

The premise? What if the turtles and Splinter were raised in the Foot Clan.

After seeing and dubbing over @indieyuugure’s comic of Indi TMNT, I was inspired to draw the stalker herself, Sydney. ;) I cracked up so many times reading the comic. Hope everyone has a great Labor Day tomorrow!!

Been working on this TMNT fan comic for what feels like wayyy too long, but very happy to finally share it! The concept that inspired this short story was the difference between the TMNT in the very first issue of the comics and the goofy teenage superheroes we know today. Anyway, I'll be posting the next pages soon - hope you enjoy!

Here's one of our beta designs / promo posters made by @jiloop.

Who are these guys? These are the Inverse Turtles of course!

Why are they inverse? Well, these four mutant turtle ninja teens were actually raised and trained by the leader of the Foot Clan, Splinter.

In order, you see: Donnie (the brains), Mikey (the class clown), Raph (the heart) and Leo (the leader).

TMNT: Inverse is a fully animated 2D project that is currently in the works!

there's the big one, of course: life before kraang, and life after the fact. but there's a bunch of smaller ones, too.

this is after splinter, but before casey. it's not a period of time he likes to think about very much.
