What if Anastacius was in unrequited love with Claude's mother and Anastacius never acted on those feelings because he didn't want to be like his father who abused his position as Emperor and would force himself on powerless maids. What if Anastacius and Claude's mother are much closer in age than initially assumed because Aevum raped the Empress' maid when she was still a minor. I once suggested that Anastacius might have been parentified because Claude's father ignored Claude entirely and his mother was unable to raise him all alone since she was terminally ill and expecting to die soon. This shifts the family dynamic by one position, placing Anastacius next to Claude's mom as the one who slips into the role of the father who failed them and has to take care of Claude and protect him. Both Anastacius and Claude's mother raised Claude in a sense and might have supported each other in a way a couple should. Claude's mother was probably a good person who would listen to his problems when her illness would allow it and comfort him but would also tell him when he had done wrong rather than faking sympathy and using flattery on Anastacius like the others who were hoping to take advantage of their friendships to him once he has become Emperor. Although it was of platonic nature Anastacius who never knew anything but the toxic power plays of the nobility was receiving unconditional love by a commoner, similar to what Claude would experience years later and lose that love, a stroke of fate which would eventually lead him down the dark path of a tyrant who would drink, sleep around and even dabble in dark magic to destroy himself.
Anastacius considering to kill Claude throughout his youth but being unable to go through with it due to the affection he held for Claude's mother draws another parallel to Claude, Diana and Athy. Athy said Anastacius tried to kill his brother so many times...it may have been similar to how Claude let Athy almost drown but changed his mind and saved her. Anastacius wanted to kill Claude but made excuses to let him live a little longer. He loved him and he hated him. He rejects Claude after Claude's mother died. Maybe he even thought to himself had Claude not been born the maid would still be healthy and alive. Claude never should have existed at all. He never should have been born. He sees traces of Claude's mother in him and is nice to him, he sees traces of his father in him and it makes him sick. His father chosing another woman over the Empress is the reason why this child exists. Claude was born out of sin, out of adultery and rape. Claude is the living proof of this betrayal that the Emperor committed against his partner just like Athy is the proof of Diana's "betrayal". Someone choses the wrong person over the person they should have chosen, a mother becomes ill due to the pregnancy, dies of mana sickness and the betrayed has to "raise" the child they have complex feelings for.
Claude said Anastacius was like a madman begging to be killed. Imagine if he wanted that woman's child to become Emperor that badly, he would sacrifice his own life. Did he see no reason to continue living anymore and wanted Aeternitas to be taken down with him before he could actually harm Claude? Why would Anastacius become interested in resurrection? Could there be another reason why he wanted to create a powerful wizard child artifically instead of the natural way that he knows would endanger the mother? Did the death of Claude's mother traumatize him so much it changed how he viewed motherhood?

I understand that we should just block content we don't wanna see, but I still think things like proships or ships that are wrong and illegal in irl should be kept private. Because that is exposing kids to the romantization of abuse, incest, and pedophilia. This content may expose them to predators, which could cause them harmful trauma, the type that people claim to use proshipping for. They may think that a person older than them liking a kid is ok, even though the adult has bad intentions. We know that they are fictional characters, but they represent real people and can still affect kids. And if this isn't supposed to affect them irl, why do so many groomers show proship media and illegal art to grow kids?
Don't want to start anything just curious
I think the short version of the argument is basically "the internet shouldn't have to be a 100% sanitized and safe space for children". But getting further into it...
"but I still think things like proships or ships that are wrong and illegal in irl should be kept private."
It's not worth mentioning now but "proships" aren't a thing. Proship doesn't stand for problematic ship, it's not an adjective.
My question is why this line of thinking only applies to ships? Murder and cannibalism are also illegal, but no one's going around saying you should keep your love of horror to yourself, or only watch R rated movies in the privacy of your own home.
"Because that is exposing kids to the romantization of abuse, incest, and pedophilia."
The majority of people interacting with media like this, or making posts about this, DO NOT want kids interacting with their content! They slap every rating, warning label, and trigger tag under the sun onto their work to say that it is not for kids. At the end of the day, that's all you can do. It is not one random proshipper's job to shelter every single child in the world.
Furthermore, kids are exposed to that crap from plenty of other places besides randos on tumblr. Walking into a library or turning on a television can easily expose kids to these topics just as much as going onto ao3 or opening tumblr could. That doesn't mean every professional author or tv writer on earth needs to create art that's palatable for children. Because that's not their responsibility.
"This content may expose them to predators"
It's grim to say, but literally anything on earth could potentially expose a child to a predator. Getting on the bus, going to the park, going to school, going to church, going to a friend's house, going home. Honestly I think it's a bit of a privileged mindset to think that a child would be 100% safe in this world if it weren't for faceless boogeymen online committing the sin of writing dark fic of their Blorbos.
"which could cause them harmful trauma,"
Again, that trauma could come from anywhere. And you're putting the weight of preventing that onto random strangers online, not anyone who's concretely in the hypothetical child's life, or actually responsible for them
"the type that people claim to use proshipping for"
Appreciate the subtleties of invalidating other people's trauma. Just because you don't have the same coping mechanisms doesn't mean theirs are invalid. Especially when countless licensed therapists agree that writing is one of the better ways you can help process trauma.
And to state the obvious, you don't need to have trauma to be a proshipper. Not everyone uses dark content for self reflection, some people just think it's neat.
"They may think that a person older than them liking a kid is ok, even though the adult has bad intentions."
A kid should not be getting 100%, or even most of their life lessons from fictional media. Parents, guardians, teachers, and other trusted adults in a child's life are the ones who need to teach them right from wrong, and how to protect themselves. I remember being a kid and being told by my mom "now if a stranger pulls up to you and says they lost their puppy and they'll give you candy if you help them look for it, do NOT go with them". That was her job as a parent.
Now I know that sadly, not every child has that kind of trusted adult in their life. But it's not the responsibility of a bunch of fanfic authors on tumblr to fill in the gaps.
"We know that they are fictional characters, but they represent real people and can still affect kids."
It doesn't matter how closely or loosely fiction depicts our reality, it's still just fiction at the end of the day. Movies have been using the whole "Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental" disclaimer for almost as long as there have been movies.
"And if this isn't supposed to affect them irl, why do so many groomers show proship media and illegal art to grow kids?"
One, art is not illegal. Unless you get caught graffiti-ing, then you might get fined. And no one is saying this kind of thing can't affect a child. But why, in this scenario, are you putting the blame on fanfic authors and fanartists before putting the blame on the actual groomer??
And again I ask, what exactly is "proship media" anyway? I'm guessing the kind of stuff that constantly appears on people's DNI lists, which could be anything from Steven Universe to Cannibal Holocaust, so who really knows??
Like I said in the short version, the internet should not have to be sanitized for the sake of the children. The entire internet does not need to be one giant safe space for kids. Adults have a right to talk about adult things with other adults. To explore dark topics in fiction, or to have fun with taboos in a harmless way.
I want the world to be safe for kids too. But the way to do that isn't to forbid adults from posting shit online. Instead of trying to shield children from every controversial, difficult, or uncomfortable topic under the sun, give them the tools they need to learn how to process these things.
Be a safe person to talk to if a kid has a question. Help them understand why something might be okay in a fantasy setting, but it's not something that should carry over into real life (like, a fairy tale prince kissing an sleeping princess to break a curse is fine, but in real life where there's no magic you should always make sure someone is okay with it before kissing them. Something like that)
Teach them internet safety, above all else. When I was a kid, you didn't give out any personal info. Nowadays kids have no qualms about giving out their full name, age, list of phobias and disorders, showing their school, their house - the list goes on.
Honestly, I think we need to go back to scaring kids with Stranger Danger, at least a little. But that's starting to veer into a different topic and I think I've said all I need to say about this one today.

Alright Iâll bite. First of all, I donât give a shit about tang yun, you can blast off about him all you want. I have a problem when someone starts implying that the creators are intentionally making it incest or, sorry, ââincest undertonesââ with proof the size of a walnut
Second, obsession and possessiveness is not inherently romantic nor sexual. Are both the tang brothers and Yuuhime and Yamatoâs relationship toxic and abusive? Very much so, especially on the latter relationship. You are allowed to hate these relationships and talk about how toxic and abusive it is. But-
Third, the proof you have is *checks notes* a blush and the word hogtie. And for Yamato, it was caressing her cheek. Kay so, Tang Yun blushing could be interpreted as embarrassment or shame since the context is that Tang Xuan literally just told him âdonât tie up people you love bitch, thatâs weirdâ (exaggeration but still). Putting yourself into a hypothetical obsession mindset, would the target of your obsession saying that make you: A) make your heart go Doki Doki B) embarrassed? For the hogtie thing, hogtie isnât inherently sexual either just because itâs used in bdsm. Fucking police hogtie people. The definition is to bind all four limbs together and knowing dislyteâs translation history, probably what was originally meant.
And Yamato âlovingly caressing Yuuhimeâs face which mean he obviously wants to fuck herâ⌠bro, have you never seen any villain ever do that. Itâs a common trope to sadistically caress or touch a personâs face while theyâre impaired or captured. Heâs doing it to show the power and control over her. Itâs possessive and abusive to a T but itâs not fucking incest. Like literally give me a list of actual romantic or sexual gestures he does to her cuz I havenât seen it, I got my binoculars on.
My original point was that by consuming media where sibling relationships turned into incest, thus, incest media, you admit that you are biased towards seeing these interactions as potentially becoming incest and thus would influence your critique on them. As for your whole âI added tags to explain you can just ignore me UwUâ You wrote a hella provocative post. You canât expect a paragraph of fucking tags to handwave away anyone who would get pissed at you.
Sighs. Alright, I guess weâre doing it. First, let me remind you that the three definitions of incestuous, the adjective, Iâve been very specific on using, are:
Constituting or involving incest
Guilty of incest
Excessively or improperly intimate or exclusive
All of these are pulled from the Miriam-Webster Dictionary. Got that? Good. Because I have only been using the term âincestuousâ, specifically to highlight the inappropriate levels of âaffectionâ both Tang Yun and Yamato express towards their respective siblings. Not. Once. Have I said anything that about Dislyte intentionally making incest in there stories. What I have said is 1.) I am not going to forgive them for having incestuous overtones between the two siblings during the final act of the Sea of Sorrows event and 2.) the imagery Tang Yun brings up when speaking to his brother (or implying something to his brother) is uncomfortable. Not once do I say or imply that I think Dislyte is trying to push a romantic bond between the two siblings. Incestuous, the adjective, isnât inherently romantic or sexual coercion, it is simply intimacy that is improper, inappropriate, uncomfortable, manipulative, abusive, and so on. Companies that have incestuous relationships with their customers have manipulated a state of dependency on the customers with their products, rendering them docile and accepting to whatever demands the company asks of. Incestuous can relate to intrusive thoughts, the way someone thinks- consciously or inadvertently- not necessarily how they act. Incestuous is just a descriptor, not the event.
This is why I specified that "incest media" is not the same as "media with incestuous overtones". The former is a kink, the latter is an unfortunate story telling device.
We see this in Tang Yunâs voice lines, in game, and how they are literally about how he feels towards Tang Xuan. If he canât have him, no one can. All that he does, he does it for âhis dear brotherâ. He simultaneously looks forward to the day and fears the day he can destroy his brother with his two hands. He was accused of abducting his brother and then he says heâll hogtie him if he disappears like that again. These are all uncomfortable levels of obsession. Itâs excessive. He agrees with Yamatoâs intense stance on âprotectingâ his sister, Yamato who took away her second of freedom to be the one in charge of her actions through the musical device.Â
This is now the second time someone brought up Tang Yun blushing, I donât know why cause that was never my focus. The two times Iâve brought up the incestuous overtones, it was always about the actions and their implications, never about the physical reaction. Him blushing doesnât mean anything, but him cutting off his justification for his possessive thoughts when he noticed his brother getting upset with him after voicing them? The implication that heâs holding back his darker thoughts so as not to spook Tang Xuan, the object of his obsessions? Thatâs infinitely more solid proof of the disturbing nature of his affection.
The fact that they are SIBLINGS is what makes it appear more incestuous than a regular villain/victim combo. You know why no one sees villains âcaressingâ their victimâs cheeks âlovinglyâ as incestuous? Itâs because the victim isnât usually related to them. Cause, guess what, when there is a familial relationship? The consumers of the media will see it as incestuous. Because it is. Itâs a line being crossed/blurred between family. If a villain does this action to their victim of the same sex, guess what? It will be interpreted as homoerotic overtones. If a villain does this action to a child, itâs interpreted as paedophilic overtones. Thatâs the point of being able to make logical inferences, without the author needing to explicitly state âHey, this villain right here? Immoral as shit.â They can use this sort of tool to exemplify the corrupted morality of the villain. The posts Iâve made were never about the two siblings being incestuous, but it being used as a tool to paint Tang Yun and Yamato as immoral bastards. I understand that not everyone will pick up on that, but as someone who has consumed media where this happens often, I can pick up on that story-telling tool. Because, once you notice how itâs been used, you will pick up on it quicker.
Speaking of noticing things, did you truly read my post or did you skim through it and get upset? Because I made sure to find an example of hogtying that wasnât NSFW and highlighted the position itself, rather than any sexual implications of it because this post isnât about anything sexual. If you still saw it as sexual, then I canât really blame you, or anyone, for seeing it that way. The thing about tying people up is that it is seen more often as a sexual kink, and I was worried about people having that imagery which is why I tried to minimise the damage by finding a demonstration that wasnât overtly sexual (youâll notice itâs more of a diagram featuring a fully clothed man with a neutral expression on his face, with colours contrasting only the rope and number/angles against said man) and by explicitly asking people to ignore any NSFW implications to focus on the the vulnerability.
Itâs ironic, because I got this image from an online journal/news outlet documenting the US Criminal Justice system. The image is in reference to police hogtying, and yet you still got the BDSM reading I was trying to avoid. That, accidentally, proves my point that the imagery Tang Yun conjured with that specific phrasing is disturbing, seeing as it is directed to his brother. When it comes to siblings, there shouldn't be any sort of sexual implication between them.
It also doesnât disprove what I was saying about vulnerability, because the position is used to render victims immovable and, historically, has been used against minorities in overt displays of power imbalances, rendering them vulnerable for sick displays of superiority. Iâm sure the Dislyte devs understood the weight of that word, corrupt policemen being an international plague, and thatâs why they had him use hogtie rather than just threaten to tie him up, something way less emotionally charged.
Let me reiterate, that the phrase I have been using, âincestuous overtonesâ, is used to describe any sort of uncomfortable intimacy between two people, specifically siblings in this case. If I was calling it incest, I would tag it as such. Its not incest, itâs implied. And implications can be just as uncomfortable to see/read as demonstrations. While it wasnât my intention to be provocative in my post, I guess Iâll accept it since itâs inspired this sort of conversation. At the end of the day, Iâm just a fan trying to piece together the behind the scenes relationships of one of my favourite characters. If you donât notice anything incestuous, there is nothing wrong with that. Thatâs the fun thing about storytelling, people can get different interpretations from the same material depending on their experiences. I recognise the incestuous red flags, you only recognise the abusive red flags. I know that the overtones are done in a way to provoke discomfort in the audience, you are interpreting my understanding as a callout to the Dislyte Devs. I am telling you thatâs not even close to my intentions but, at the end of the day, if this is how it feels to you (and others) then I cannot do much about it. Iâm not going to spend all day going back and forth with you, you cannot convince me there arenât any incestuous overtones. Likewise, I am not here to convince anyone that what is happening is incestuous. I am responding to your queries, but this isnât me trying to evangelise anyone. I donât care whether or not you agree with me, but you wanted my side so here it is.
Basically, I think this boils down to: you think I'm implying a sexual/romantic relationship is happening between the Tang twins and Yamato and Yuuhime, but that couldn't be further from the truth. It was never sexual/romantic to begin with, just disturbing and uncomfortable to watch happen between siblings.
Has it occurred to you that, perhaps, you're doing the projecting?

"Shipabilis" coining Shipabilis = accepting shipping sobeit done respectfully cw LONGđ
:
I donât know if this is actually needed, itâs just that Iâve seen so many different takes on what these âsubgroupsâ and spaces stand for in shipping, and so wanted to make a clear distinct group for myself to identify within.Â
My group/term is called shipabilis, which translates to âaccepting shippingâ
You may realize this sounds a whole lot like âproshipâ, and while it does hold many of the same ideas/values from a proship perspective, it differs in several aspects. And yeah I guess this sorta makes me an anti, while others may still see this as proship. And this is basically my own idea of what I wish proship was. (Taking notes from several posts.(May update these definitions in the future)) Shipabilis: adjective.Â
âShipabilisâ is basically the idea âlet people ship whatever fictional ship they want sobeit they portray it respectfully.âÂ
Ideals:
People who are shipabilis are anti-harrassment.Â
People who are shipabilis are anti-censorship.
People who are shipabilis believe it is good and needed to have taboo media that can help people and people can draw from.
Someone who tolerates and does not discriminate against/harass people about any fictional ship(*done correctly/respectfully). This does not inherently mean the person does ship taboo things, just means they tolerate and donât harass.
*When said âdone correctlyâ this is where it differentiates itself from proship. Yes the words âdone correctlyâ does imply a moral stance. People who are shipabilis believe it is good to have taboo fictional media as long as it displays real life moral teachings. Examples:
Someone who is shipabilis will tolerate fictional media of grooming and paedophilia so long as the media makes clear to the audience that it is bad and wrong.Â
Someone who is shipabilis will not support fictional minorXadult where there is no comment about how this is morally wrong, and where this media could be used to normalize paedophilia. The shipabilis will not support it, but will also NOT harass a person over it.Â
Someone who is shipabilis will tolerate fictional media displaying incest as long as the media makes clear it is wrong and does not promote it.
Someone who is shipabilis will not support fictional incest where the media does not make clear to the audience that incest is wrong. If the media seems to promote or normalize incest, the shipabilisâ will not support while also NOT harassing.
Someone who is shipabilis will tolerate fictional media that displays abuse as long as the media makes clear that abuse is wrong.
Someone who is shipabilis will not tolerate fictional media that makes it seem like abuse is not wrong. Media that victim blames or normalizes abuse. Shipabilis will not harrass people over this media either though. They will turn away and ignore.
Further Explanation/Discussion/Background: I am wanting to make this/coin this because with the research I have done I cannot find myself defining myself on either side of âproâ or âantiâ ship. I have heard proship experiences, and I have heard anti experiences. The definition of both these subgroups has become so lost that the definition is drastically different depending on who you speak with. I was also wanting to make this because while speaking to both some antiâs and some proshippers they expressed and made clear some things to me. - The proshipers told me that âall proshipper have preferences. And while I may dislike noncon and other taboos, I am still proship because I believe in âship and let shipâ. Anyone who believes certain things should be censored or removed would be an anti.â - I was unable to get many/a generalized view from the âAntisâ because they generally just seem to be anyone against their idea of proship(which is usually taboo ships)and many antis I tried to speak with, even past proshippers, told me they had a âhorrible experience with the proship community.â I didnât ask the details but one person was able to tell me that basically âThe ideas and concepts of Proshipping are to vague and widespread to simply be under one termâ and that âWhile yes proship is about fiction, we need to acknowledge that for many people fiction impacts reality and how we view reality. So writing a minorxadult, or incest ship and not making it clear this is wrong in the real world, leads to it becoming normalized and unsensitized.â
And so again, with trying and somewhat understanding views from both sides I found I did not entirely belong with either. Because as some have said. âProship or anti can mean so many different things now to different people.â To one person âantiâ means terf, while âproshipâ means the same thing to another. So because I realized the flaws in certain areas of the proship community, my feelings of how fiction impacts reality, and as well as how I wouldnât be accepted by many proclaimed antis, I realized I just needed to make my own âtermâ for myself, and if anyone hold my ideals they are welcome to join.Â
It is complicated because I do not want anything to be censored necessarily, because then how do we decide what needs to be censored and what doesnât? And I also do not believe in harassing a person over their views, especially when/if it hurts no one, and another especially if itâs about fiction. So my view is really just âsee something you donât like/agree with/you think should be deleted, just ignore it, donât bring attention to it, and let it get buried in the dust of history.â
So now that weâre done with the quite long discussion/explanation/background, I will reiterate what shipabilis is. âShipabilisâ is basically the idea âlet people ship whatever fictional ship they want sobeit they portray it respectfully.â I would say âcorrectlyâ but then that is again leaving it up to the argument of all our own differing morals and what âcorrectâ is. So while yes my stand is portraying it âcorrectlyâ, you really just need to be respectful to people with things that can be and are real life experiences. All the âanti- harassmentâ should just be a side detail of this. Because we should ALL be anti harassment. They should be labels you collect. You can be âanti censorshipâ and also consider yourself an âanti-shipperâ itâs all how you view it.Â
So while I as the coiner of âshipabilisâ say that one of our ideals is âno harassmentâ I acknowledge that that is not it's only and sole distinguisher. And say this does pick up, and one day there are others calling themself fellow âshipabilisâ they cannot simply say âwe stand for no harassmentâ and act like they are morally better just for that fact. Because there will be people who are anti-shipabilis, who are also anti-harassment. And it is because the world makes it seem so black and white, one side or the other, that led to all my confusion, and the traumatic experiences of so many from both these communities.Â
From what Iâve seen many proshippers are not into the taboo ships, but label themselves âproshipâ because it is supposedly the side of anti-harassment and anti-censorship. And that may have been what it was meant to be when it originated, but with time the meaning behind it and the community has changed. So again âshipabilisâ = âwhen it comes to fiction, ship what you like as long as you present and indulge in it respectfully in regards to how it relates and mirrors real life and peopleâs irl experiences.â
And I apologize if a term for all this already exists and I have just failed to find it.
And I know some people who have been through trauma, or even not, feel âthere shouldnât stories about rape and abuse or etc. these things are not for peopleâs enjoyment.â And I agree partly. I understand taboo and how it can feel wrong and disrespectful. But I am also able to see and separate peopleâs enjoyment of media and their moral standpoint. We all have different reasons for why we âenjoyâ something. For some of us, we like reading drama and feeling on edge. Others like to read stories that remind them of their trauma and help them not feel alone. Some people read these things for the purpose of feeling sad. Some simply like to explore these complex dynamics and learn/educate about them. etc. I donât know the reason, but I know that making this media is more important than trying to hide and destroy it. If you donât make a story where it displays how something is wrong, then how are people meant to really and fully understand why. This book or fic about an abusive relationship between husband and wife, parent and child, or even just teen partners could make a difference in helping someone. So what if itâs nsfw sometimes. Sometimes we need these media, and the details, to help that one person in need to understand what's wrong and help them have words for it. And it is for same reason above that I believe we should move away from media that can normalize these things. That same little girl or boy that read the story explaining about why their parent shouldnât rape them, could be reading a similar thing that doesnât make clear that this action is bad and wrong. Bury the disrespectful media and make clear and room for the media that portrays it respectfully and even if not made with educational ideas, could be the first sign or resource someone finds.
People writing books or fics of their trauma do not deserve to be harassed. And also this type of media creation or enjoyment is not solely restricted to those who have been hurt. We may have no clear answer yet to why we are drawn to this media, but it does not define our moral stance.
Fiction and nonfiction are separate, but also connected in which we must make clear what is right and wrong and we must portray it respectfully. Iâm sorry that this is all so long, I just want there to be no misunderstanding of my ideals. DO NOT romanticize, normalize, simplicize, glorify, etc. abuse. No matter what type of abuse, sexual, csa, physical, psychological, mental, domestic, etc. It is all wrong and bad, and deserves and is needed to be portrayed with diligence and respect.
And another last note, if you are in a community, do not harass or milk a person for content. Especially about traumatic instances, especially x2 for children/minors. People do not owe you anything. Do not exploit them for content.Â
and with that, the end of the very long coining of shipabilis.

something most would point one is: despite ppl harassing and accusing ppl for shipping or liking problematic things, yet they watch/read/like certain media that has those same elements
and yeah cause when u think about it: it doesn't matter if it's portrayed differently in the media(whether as an exaggerated joke, satire, reconstruction, or serious). they still used those elements regardless
and if the reason you're willing to excuse that is because: you can like a show while being critical of its problematic elements, not excusing it IRL. what makes you think proshippers and kinksters can't do the same when they ship/draw/write the same things, even in a romanticizing way
I'll keep saying this until it gets through people's heads, "proship" doesn't mean "problematic ship", it's an adjective meaning "being in favour of 'ship and let ship', and rejecting harassment over ships".
Second of all, of course proship folk don't condone stuff like incest and SA in real life, and kinky folk also understand that their kinks are not acceptable outside of fantasy or what their partner consents to during sex. That's why in fiction, it's safe and legal to play with these concepts because nobody outside of these fictional characters is involved. Is it to scratch an itch or to cope with trauma? That's nobody's fucking business. Trying to worm your way into other people's business over whatever fap rag or ship dynamic they happen to enjoy is weird, you look like a creep. Be normal and mind your business.

Information on work knowledge for spells for my work and my doing and also information about my fathers genetics.
The English word incest is derived from the Latin incestus, which has a general meaning of "impure, unchaste". It was introduced into Middle English, both in the generic Latin sense (preserved throughout the Middle English period)[18] and in the narrow modern sense. The derived adjective incestuous appears in the 16th century.[19] Before the Latin term came in, incest was known in Old English as sib-leger (from sibb 'kinship' + leger 'to lie') or mÇŁÄĄhÇŁmed (from mÇŁÄĄ 'kin, parent' + hÇŁmed 'sexual intercourse') but in time, both words fell out of use. Terms like incester[20][21][22] and incestual[23][24] have been used to describe those interested or involved in sexual relations with relatives among humans, while inbreeder has been used in relation to similar behavior among non-human organisms.[25]
Islamic Culture Islamic Main article: Mahram The Quran gives specific rules regarding incest, which prohibit a man from marrying or having sexual relationships with:
his father's wife[ (his mother, or stepmother,[173] his mother-in-law, a woman from whom he has nursed, even the children of this woman either parent's sister (aunt) his sister, his half sister, a woman who has nursed from the same woman as he, his sister-in-law (wife's sister) while still married. Half relations are as sacred as full relations his niece (child of sibling his daughter, his stepdaughter (if the marriage to her mother was consummated), his daughter-in-law. Cousin marriage finds support in Islamic scriptures and is widespread in the Middle East.
Although Islam allows cousin marriage, there are hadiths attributed to Muhammad calling for distance from the marriage of relatives. However, Muslim scholars generally consider these hadiths unreliable.
Rules that I researched in islamic culture. Pretty Beautiful way of the Quran.

I mean, Valentinian III, the Roman Emperor in question and brother of Honoria, is widely considered an incompetent ruler. Thereâs even a story (probably Ancient slander fanfic) that he had a pet bird called âRomeâ. When the City of Rome was burned by the Vandals (Germanic tribe, and yes, thats the origin of the modern adjective) and his ministers told him about it, he had a panic attack because he thought they were taking about his bird. When it was clarified that the City burned, he was basically âOh, well, anywayâ. He also became enraged with Honoriaâs letter, and only spared her from death due to their motherâs pleading (Galla Placidia, perhaps the greatest Roman woman, who was married to a smaller barbarian king herself). Valentinian III relied almost entirely on his only competent general, Aetius.
Normally Mikasaâs brother in fics is Levi, but heâs not incompetent. Maybe Mikasa saw that the Emperor was unfit to rule, and that he was a danger to what remained of the Empire. If he continued in power, he would destroy them all⌠so maybe some people were plotting a coup to put Mikasa on the throne, her brother found out, and she sent the letter to Eren. Eren is in only for land, gold and conquest. Maybe he almost deteats the Empire, reaches the gates of âRomeâ (Paradis?) and then is given Mikasa as his bride and a lot of gold and land to please go Back, donât kill us all. (In reality the Roman capital at the time was Ravenna, but this is not relevant now).
So yes, there is Angst. Maybe Mikasa at first feels horrible about her mistake, but then sees that Sheâs their only hope against Eren in the end. She must do her duty as a princess and marry this foreing ruler for the well being (and survival) of her people. But then they fall in love because, however brutal he is in battle, he does care for the lands he own? For her as his bride and Empress now? And also, in their prime, werent the Romans themselves brutal conquerors too? They once had millions of slaves.
Itâs just that I donât know whats best - if Eren does conquer everything, and they deal with the fallout, or if they remain in a standstill. In many aspects this is âwhat if Eren won in the end and completed the rumbling?â. Maybe they can even learn to rule together their new enmeshed empire?
The idea of making it a historical chronicle is good! Or maybe Eren wins and becomes more Roman-like? For her sake? Because Itâs up to You to decide if in his personality (not the ruler conqueror persona) he is bad or secretely a gentleman. I just know that they end up falling in love, even if its slow. Iâm not a good writer, I hope this could help You
So we can make the original emperor something like Viserys Targaryen, meaning Daenerysâs brother. maybe when the emperor discovers that the people want her in the seat but doesnât know that she doesnât want it, he goes a bit mad, heâs like âyou want the Empress seat? Be me bride then, weâll see all these people get on fire under our reign.â so like some incest shit but it is the thing that makes it horrifying that pushes her to send the letter. like this is her set up.
so then sheâs conflicted when eren arrives, he kills some of her people but he also executes the emperor freeing her, and he stops. now her reign wonât see more deaths but at the same time some people died already and all the former emperor allieâs are still being killed. she did the greater good for every innocent but still gave death to others. you feel what iâm saying?
when she gets to know eren as he takes her as his bride she sees the side of anything but a barbarian. and romance blooms. i think it would be an in between of gentleman and conqueror, heâs trying but didnât have a gentle relationship never in his life. so itâs hard for him to learn as well. plus infatuation. like their first night makes them know theyâre right sexually but need to explore the rest.
i think itâs a bit different from the canon rumbling because they knew each other before and deeply. here mikasa regards him as a barbarian and gets to know him as her arranged husband.
tell me what you think about it. đ§đ¤

I would like to interject that this only accurate for the common publication of Grimm fairytales as editions to be read for children. And even there the level of "fucked up"ness is actually minimized.
And it might be worth noting that fairy tales can bear the same structure but vary extremely in the time and place in which they're told. Meaning: There is not ever one true origin of a fairy tale. At best we know one popular variation of it. So, the point "they probably edited fucked up thing X" begs the question with which fairy tale variation we work with. And then we need to make the distinction: Is the Grimm tale in question their direct documentation, or is it the variation for a publication for family households which was likely heavily edited?
The Grimms collected fairy tales as an academic endeavor for emerging German Language studies. (To be specific their collection came specifically from the area around Hannover, Hessia, and MĂźnsterland where the people who recited the local folk stories to them came from.) Their first and second edition of their published fairy tales remained rather unedited, and were intended as documentation of local idioms, ways of speaking. Fun thing is: Not all fairy tales were of "purely" folkloric origin. Stories like Donkeyskin, Puss in Boots, or Bluebeard are actually so called "artificial" fairytales by Charles Perrault. These are fairy tales who originate directly from literature (other examples include Il racconti dei racconti, or La Belle et la BĂŞte). Upon being told these stories orally, Grimms were surprised because these oral stories were remarkably similar to their previous translations of Perrault's work. Meaning, the literary stories have found their way orally from France into Western and Central parts of German territory. In that way, Perrault became, in it's local variation, part of the Grimm canon. So there you already have fairytales with more disturbing subject matter that was not Grimm material. So there you already have fucked up thing X that was already in the original Perrault version, now with local variants. (The threat of incest, or a serial wife murderer were already part of the Perrault works.)
The internet has, especially US users, interacting with the topic of fairy tales have this weird thing of describing Grimm but also other European fairy tales as "fucked up, dark, disturbing", pick you poison of adjectives. (Skill issue though. ( Ëď¸šË )) However, these stories were never intended for children! The fact that we first think of children bed time stories when we hear the hear the term "fairy tales" is due to a accident in literary history. Again, the collection of folktales was intended as academic language study. And these collected tales were either written or told for the people - basically anyone. Only a few selected stories were annotated stories "suitable for children". "Made for children" is not the same as "suitable for children". Peppa Pig is made in the language and the scope of children. Catch me if you can doesn't have any language or violence that is disturbing for children, the plot easy to follow that the child would carry any harm from watching it. Still, the target audience are adult viewers. In that sense, some stories were deemed also suitable enough that children could part take in them as well. But the stories were oriented towards all ages. But the second edition (1819) received as lot of backlash form the upcoming middle class. So demand was to make the texts more "child friendly". Here consider the context of the time: Napoleon had just razed across Europe, the middle class was emerging, the concept of childhood was upcoming, public executions were still part of daily life. Physical discipline was still part of raising children. Following children's literature like "Max and Moritz" or "Struwwelpeter" have a hard moral against misbheavior, including physical violence - part of the reason why some speak of black pedagogics as marker in German culture, specifically German children's education. (Although Pinochicco is also not the most forgiving of childish whimsy but I digress.) By all that I mean, that from out current concept of children and childhood, the edits the Grimms undertook may seem disturbing. But by all means, they did edit out a lot of sex, and more explicit cruelties, or dark themes The actual worse offense in their edits is editing out the often very proactive, prominent position of female protagonists in these tales. Women undergoing the Grimm edit, being adapted to a way more reactive, passive, (self-)sacrificial role for the gender dynamics of the early 19th century in German territory would merrit an entire discussion on it's own - I will leave it that the Grimm women are at the tension of their strong folkloric relevance as most common protagonist of fairy tales while also having to bow down to strictly gendered conventions in their edited state. Hence discussions about the feminist merit of Grimm fairy tales are definitely worth having but yet far from unambiguous! Then there were the edits that adapted the stories to a more Christian morality. The best example would be Star Money (eeew, terrible translation of the title!), in which the female protagonist basically martyrs herself to be rewarded with the riches of heaven. Or angels appearing as figures heralding heavenly blessing and announcing the end of the protagonist's painful journey. And these are the edits worth talking about! So yes, once again, from a contemporary perspective these might seem disturbing. But they were made in a time with it's timely and local specificity which might not hold true today.
So, the children editions ran parallel to the continued academic work of the Grimms. These include grammar studies, research into non-German fairy tales, and comparative literature. They also continued to collect tales but certainly not all of them were included in the children's edition publication. Hence, one will not have a complete picture of the Grimm collection, if not understand the full scope of their fairy tale collection, until they do engage with their literary studies (which did also include openly antisemitic folk material but these will never be featured in works intended for children.)
Quick summary note: No, it was not just those two fucked up German dudes. The material was not made for children in the first place, and the assumption that there ever was an original version, let alone an innocent original version is inaccurate. What wasn't oral folklore was of literary origin which also featured a lot of dark themes. For fairy tale publication for children, the Grimms did publish editions specifically edited for the sensibilities for pedagogy at the time time. These edits and sensibilities form the early the 19th century, and every ongoing revision up to the 7th edition simply does not match up with our current sensibilities. However at the time, these were the "child-friendly" edits.
I enjoy a joke about fucked up German fairy tales as much as the next nerd, but it's genuinely striking how often the source for the really fucked up stuff turns out to be "yeah, this is only in the Brothers Grimm version and doesn't appear in any extant oral tradition, and we're like 80% sure they added it themselves". To a large extent it's not German fairy tales that are fucked up, it's two specific German dudes.

How bad is it that I looked at your ocs, Blitz and his dad, and immediately wanted to see them kiss?
(Unrelated i love your art style, its really clean and nice to look at!!!)
Lol I actually have drawn that before. Also in MS Paint. (Also also. Clean is not a good adjective for my art style lmao. It is actually very messy when I'm actually drawing not on MS Paint.) But anyway here is Blitz kissing his dad. I think I drew this like last year.
Ffuckass muppet-looking chibi Blitz lol.
Uh.
Blitz as an adult would not be kissing on Viscera (that's the dad's name) he would actually be kicking his ass. Viscera though does not care what age Blitz is, that's his son, his earthly vessel, his little Void prince and he will do whatever he damn well pleases with him. Which is unfortunate for Blitz because he hates that awful disgraced God. Well he does as an adult. As a child though Blitz was prime for it. Very easily influenced by Void madness and very easily corruptible.
And also he was an evil child, likely because of the influence of Viscera, for example he convinced a friend to try murdering another kid. The kid survived though and she actually becomes one of the main antagonists of the story.
And thankfully Blitz isn't an evil bastard as an adult. Well. He's still a bastard but he is actually on a revenge quest against his older half sister because she molested him as a child and also killed him as a teen. Like homeboy didn't get to graduate high school because that bitch killed him and when he came back to life, due to the godly influence of Viscera wanting his vessel alive, it's a revenge quest.
Ok I could go on explaining the plot of the book but I uh I think you're just here for the dadson incest lol sorry mate.
Anyway Viscera wants to own Blitz completely, and in a cosmic sense, he already does. Blitz however just wants to kill the evil bitch that killed him and then get married to his girlfriend and raise a family with her.

i know it's kinda boring to imagine the cullens as regular human teenagers in 2021 when they are fucking powerfull vampires but someone once told me that in this alternative universe jasper would be the mysterious my-reputation-precedes-me guy and alice would be like those fairy-aesthetic girls from pinterest and i...i just can't stop thinking about it.....
I don't think it's boring to imagine them as regular human teenagers! the regular human teenagers I know are very interesting people.
also I definitely have an old post like that somewhere (canât find it, but it exists.)
if I ever write teenage!human!jasper, Patrick Verona is the blueprint. it's definitely the vibe of "I give off the world's most terrifying aura and I only ever speak to one classmate (peter) so everyone thinks I killed a man and ate an entire duck raw (except the beak and the feet) but actually I was in australia helping my elderly grandfather cross the street." of course, in his case I think you can also write the rumors being trueâeg, he did kill a man, just not under the circumstances everyone imagines, or something like that (maybe he just likes raw duck ok. mind your business david)
I think jasper and edward are the only cullens who would still be Loners in a human high school au. edward would be more of the Nerd kind of loner though, like he's in the library every lunch period. he might have a few kinda-friends. people don't see him as a threat, just kind of a Weird Guy (as opposed to jasper, who is both a threat and a Weird Guy.)
digression time: I can see what smeyer was going for when she wrote the cullens as ~mYsTeRiOuS aNtiSoCiaL iNcEsT fAmiLy~ in canonâI mean, ok, they're immortal so a) they're going to outlive all these people and don't wanna get attached, b) they're Really 85+ Years Old so none of these teens are actually their peers, and c) they're potentially dangerous and don't wanna get close to these humans lest they end up harming them. also, if they're cryptic and "keep to themselves" it creates a bigger mystery for bella and makes it a bigger deal when they eventually accept bella.
but I agree with a lot of the takes on tumblr that character-wise, it doesn't really make sense for emmett and alice to be mysterious antisocial loners.
rosalie is the one for whom being a vampire makes the most differenceâhuman!rosalie 100% wants to socialize, vampire!rosalie believes it's not even an option.
and as established above, edward and jasper are Weird Guys no matter what species they are (#1 fic pet peeve is when people write edward or jasper as some kind of smooth-talking ladies' man like gurl what books did you read?? I mean follow your bliss I guess but this type of blatant wish fulfillment is Not For Me)
but emmett? and alice? crave social interaction! in MS, alice is desperate for a friend. and emmett is the kind of guy who can't help making friends wherever he goes, without even trying. alice does try, but she's pretty successful.
as for the fairy aesthetic thing...eh. I think she might actually be opposed to anything that plays into her size like that. I know bella describes her as âpixie-like,â and boy howdy has the fandom latched onto that one throwaway adjective, but thereâs nothing to indicate that alice sees herself that way. I think itâs the opposite. sheâs like I KNOW Iâm short but stop infantilizing me ok!! I have an adult mind in here! I can too be Sexy!!
I would write human!alice as being so laser-focused on a future fashion career that she doesnât commit to any other subcultures. I also think her aesthetic is more sleek and edgy than organic or boho.
but in terms of the Weird Girl attitude...oh yeah. sheâs got it in spades.
which is exactly why sheâs the type of âno fear no boundariesâ person to look at Weird Scary Guy jasper and see a challenge. sheâs like âhaha whatâs that guyâs deal? might fuck around and sit at his lunch table and gradually worm my way into his life until he canât imagine it without me :Dâ

OH THANK GOD ANOTHER SILM FAN WHO'S NORMAL. to make matters worse my favourite character is maedhros. every single day in his tag is my personal torture chamber
NO I AM SO SORRY. w the silm aside from the incest (not that thats like a Light thing but its like. i hate it bc its incest whats more to say) i hate the fandom bc i dont think its a text you can really approach with the normal fandom lense? it describes fictional historical events with such a sweeping brush that despite the conditional immortality of most of its characters, their personalities dont shine through as much yknow. which isnt a bad thing per se and i do really adore jirt's ability to still characterize them very well despite the rush across the ages, but the same way this structure doesnt lend itself well to neither adaptation (i would hate the rings of power even if it wasnt amazon and wasnt bad, the silmarillion is simply not adaptable) nor fandomization, so its not just that the fandom flattens the characters for shipping purposes, its that the fandom outright ignores the book entirely. which is a shame. its a pretty good book. jirt loved mythologies and he loved folklore and he was really very good at recreatinf the atmosphere of an ancient epic or folk story where the point isnt really a modern conception of a story that tends to be more character driven and (i dont use this as a negative adjective) formulaic, rather its some guy at a campfire going "ages ago fucked up shit happened isnt that wild"
#sorry this is long. i like the silm.#THIS IS NOT TO SAY ITS BAD TO HAVE FAVE CHARACTERS AND ALL I JUST FEEL LIKE YKNOW. MODERATION.#also the incest by God the incest#if you want to watch smth where theres no story but there are characters and they undoubtedly fuck each other watch wrestling#no shame in that. thats why i watch wrestling

Re: all your points
I don't think it's a race issue so much as a status issue. The people who are still connected to their stories and have titles and the ability to attend EAH are higher status than the non-story people. Then within the story people, the royals are higher status than the villains. This is part of why Blondie is so desperate to maintain her status as a royal: cuz without that, she's not even a villain - just a regular.
She runs a major company but is also the queen of ever after, which is the kingdom EAH is located in. It's the most prestigious/important queendom in the realm
Oooh, that could've been cool!
Yeah, it is kinda odd đ
. They're like: be evil! Break the rules! Be mean! .... no, not that way! Don't break those rules!
Truly
There are dozens of Charming families with no relation to each other. These supply all the Prince Charmings for the royal girls to marry. Also, any family with a daughter can supply an unrelated Damsel in Distress for a royal boy to marry. This is how they avoid incest.
I fully agree!!
He got trapped there by the Evil Queen's curse. He couldn't leave until he and Bunny found that way out in the show
They're using more sanitized versions of the story. Think Disney-esque. For instance, we can see that the evil step sisters from last generation's Cinderella were not forced to mutilate themselves or die. They were just librarians
No for real, they Did Not care nearly as much about how the boys looked đ
Totally!!
Yeah! My theory is that that is why Faybelle is so bored with her mom and interested in the Evil Queen instead. I imagine the fear for Maleficent/Black Fairy dwindles in the non-sleeping beauty generations, especially since that generation's Maleficent doesn't even need to do anything evil
I really don't like darling x rosabella either. I think she helped him, and for him it was monumental so I could see him having a crush on her afterwards, that would wear off once he realized they don't really mesh. But for her, that's an every day thing. I don't think she'd think much of it or be interested in him at all. Although, personally I think of Cerise as a lesbian and his bestie, and prefer Daring x Lizzie
Dexter is short for Dexterous, which is also a word. But yeah, the Charming siblings' names couldve been better
Omg this is so fun. Darling could've been Dreamy or Delicate. The boys could've been Dapper or Diplomatic (great name for the heir). Gender neutral names couldve been Delightful, Dutiful, Dazzling, Dignified, Diligent, or Decent. Imagine all your siblings get nice, inspiring adjectives and you get... decent. It's like poor ol' Good-Enough Charming
THAT WOULDVE BEEN SO FUNNY LMAOOOOO
Omg that's such a good idea. Daring should've been Dashing instead, to be more different from Darling. Or Daring then a different name for Darling. Basically, I just wish they had more different names from each other
TIL Mrs. Cheshire didn't have a tail. Id totally thought that she did đ
So true
There could be unrelated Huntsmen like how there are unrelated Charmings. Or, the EAH version of Snow White might not have a huntsman. I think if he had 2 dads, they would've had 2 sons, to make sure both their legacies were carried on. So maybe for this headcanon, he has a sibling who isn't at EAH at the same time due to age gaps
Yeah I do wish they spent more time on it. Especially apple in briar's story
For real! đ
I always headcanoned it that those were the character's ideas of who those roles are that they were talking to. Briar saw Apple cuz she's closer to her than her mom so she thinks of her first. Raven saw a scary woman cuz she's scared of her future in this path
Same as my prior theory. Blondie isn't super close with Lizzie and has probably done a lot of research on the current queens, so that's who she thinks of as encapsulating that role
I think they're ignoring the step parent part and just making the story be about peer rivals
Yeah!! More freedom to take creative liberties in fanfics and interpretations!!
đ
People weren't really able to travel freely between the worlds when the Grimm brothers' barriers were in effect. You kinda just got stuck on whatever side u we're on when the evil queen cast her spell
I loved that too!
Id be interested in hearing the rest!
Unfortunately, I'm not having a good enough vision day to make an image description for this. Or see the rankings. Anyone else able to provide an ID?
I rewatched ever after high with my girlfriend after like, six years
We hadâŚthoughts
Do you guys think fairytale people look down on those who arenât from a fairytale? Because, Ever After High seems to be the most like prestige school, but not everyone can go to it. Is there like racism going on between fairytale people and normal people?
Itâs said many times that Apple will be like, the future queen, but when we meet Snow White sheâs a fucking capitalist. Also Apple being queen means kinda nothing cause half the school are royalty and will grow up to become kings and queens. That title doesnât mean anything
We had like, ten kids from wonderland, but no Oz kids? I feel like a Dorothy child would be very obvious, like what the hell, same with the witches
The school actively encourages evil people to be evil, then become surprised when they are evil. Like, Evil Queen cursing Wonderland and almost taking over the world? Thatâs on you, principal
Also can we place lock up the principal in jail? He lied and manipulated his students, stole from Raven, and kept his brother cursed and locked up in the basement. Like, ???? The brother comes back and is just like âOh I missed you so much brotherâ like no!!!!!! Get that man out of here!!!!!
Do the fairytale people reproduce like, asexually, or do we have a ton of inbreeding between the royals? Well, it would be the most realistic aspect of the show
Hot take: Apple is a great character. Like yeah sheâs a little selfish, but when weâre shown how she was raised itâs fully understandable that sheâs so obsessed with fulfilling her destiny, but sheâs never rude or bitchy, not ever really to Raven. Also she gets better! Active character development! Sheâs one of my favorites
Why the fuck is Allister frolicking in Wonderland. Bro Alice came back, she left that place, yet everyone is just like âYep heâs a wonderlandianâ, like no! Also heâs a royal? Bro you canât be a royal, you were actively rebelling against your story by going to wonderland early
Itâs a little messed up how many of the kids are like, being forced to die. Like Ramona? She will be fucking gutted after eating her sister if she goes with her story. Like what is this school, what are these rules?
Apart from Sparrow, surprisingly, everyone of the boy designs are so fucking boring. Ew
I love the direction they took for Briar. I think they kinda realized after the first episode that shit, itâs kinda weird that this girl whoâs destiny it is to sleep for 100 years to just be fine with it. Briar is also one of my faves
Speaking of the sleeping beauty story tho, do you think itâs rare for the school to have a sleeping beauty? Cause weâre shown that this school has housed like, generations of fairytale characters, but since Sleeping beauty clocks out for a hundred years, and probably only had a child after that, they must only get her like, every fourth or fifth generation. Kinda interesting actually
Daring X Cerise > Daring X Rosabella. Like idk, maybe itâs that Cerise can like, fully challenge him in his views, forcing him to become better in a way. Like, with Rosabella it feels more like an âI can fix him <3â mindset, while with Cerise itâs more âI can knock him down a pegâ. I just thought they had a better dynamic, idk
Speaking of the Charming family, gf and I fucking hate Dexterâs name. Like, Daring and Darlings names match each other so well, not just that they sound alike but that they have meanings. Dexter is just a boring name
We tried to come up with name ideas, Dating was the funniest one to us, but we thought Dastardly was kinda fun.
Like, our thought process was that he was meant to be like, the classic jealous twin brother, always looking to sabotage his perfect older bro, except he wasnât that at all. Like, a running joke would be that it would look like he was sabotaging Daring, or like being mean, but then the camera would like zoom out or smt and show that he was like, playing a video game or just doing something completely different. It would have been more fun, plus it would have given Dexter like an actual personality instead of just, inferiority complex the person
Dashing could also have been an idea for a name
Kitty should have a tail. As should her milf of a mother have. Also like, real cat ears instead of just a hat or a headband. It feels obvious
I mean Bunny has actual bunny ears, plus she can transform into a bunny, but why is the cat just like A Girl
How can Hunter belong to both the Little red ringing hood story, and Snow White. Is his dad just a mad multitasker, or does he have two dads? I like the second option honestly
The storybeat of the characters all living through each others story honestly should have been like, an entire special. Itâs the most interesting thing the show did, and I wish we could have seen more, cause it lasted only like seven minutes. But that gives us more time to see that thrilling book all storyline, amiright?!
Briarâs moment was especially heart aching, and I wish we'd gotten more of it
But like, since Briar as the evil queen saw Apple poisoned instead of her mum, does that mean that Raven was talking to herself in her story
But at the same time, Blondie saw the current queen of hearts instead of Lizzie, so like what's going on
Snow White and The Evil Queen have like the vibe of high school rivals/ex girlfriends, and they did go to school together, but like Queenie is literally her step mom. Like what. If Raven were to live out her story, would that mean that she would marry Apple's dad? Whoever that is?
The more you think about the lore of this world the more it doesn't make sense, but it also becomes like incredibly dark
The Pied Piper is one of if not my favorite fairytales, but I hate how he is represented in this show. Like he kidnapped children and then drowned them, that man shouldn't be a teacher!
Also white queen is a teacher at ever after, yet her daughter is still in wonderland. Like bitch just left her there, what the hell.
I love that they didnât make any of the princesses stuck up bitches, like Descendants did. Like, the girls are all kind, with vibrant personalities and a lot of love for the people around them. The closest thing to the âmean girlâ stereotype is Duchess actually
But Duchess makes total sense! She fucking drowns at the end of her story, of course she wants another one. Why is Ravenâs rebellion praised but Duchesses scorned? Also why is she a royal, girlypop is literally trying to steal other peopleâs happily ever after, she a rebel
There is more I can say, but this post has already been deleted twice from my drafts, and I am scared of it, so itâs better to get it out now
Also, as a final little send off, hereâs my ranking of the characters, and the ships

hi!! i was wondering if thereâs things you arenât okay with in fics? as in things you donât feel comfortable with writing and stuff? i donât see a rules or like anything explicitly stating things youâre not comfy with writing so i wanted to make sure before sending anything in :))
hi nonnie! iâm so glad you asked this because youâre right, i donât have them listed anywhere!
my only hardcore rules are:
1. i donât write requests about real people, so like the actors and such. i just donât feel comfortable doing that since theyâre real live humans, but it doesnât bother me when other people do it! just a personal thing.
2. i donât write anything super outlandish (so like, incest/step-sibling stuff, SA, non-con stuff, etc.)
Other than that, iâm pretty open to writing most requests! [filthy, nasty, insert adjective here lol] smut, age-gap (as long as itâs consensual), dom/sub - all that good stuff is totally okay with me!
I donât think iâve ever gotten a request (on my old account or this one) that made me super uncomfy, but if i came across that, iâd just politely decline.
thank you for asking, nonnie! request away <3
also minor update since iâm here: my wifi is STILL OUT and i live in the middle of nowhere, so my LTE is superrr spotty. iâll post my next fic asap!

Snupin:
The Blue Door
by Snegurochka. Rated: E. Words: 26,965. Cheating. Bill/Remus.
There is no situation, no opportunity, no sudden, aching desire that a werewolf can't control. Any man who says otherwise is just a man looking for an excuse.
Cheat

Remus knows Sirius is still trying to recover, but it's hard not to want. Especially when someone else is offering.

Exceeds Expectations
by greenmegsnoham. Rated: E. Words: 12,000. Size kink. Daddy kink. Breeding kink. Top/bottom stereotypes. Verbal humiliation. Light dom/sub. Himbo James. Minor other ships.
No one understood.
Yes, James was tall, fit, and a Chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch team. He was handsome and extremely popular, it was just always the wrong sort of attention he desired. He knew he gave off those fuckboy vibes. One look at James, and he was clearly ready to pummel them into the ground. And that's precisely what he did, again and again, but it wasn't enough. It never would be. No one looked at James and thought, 'Damn, I'd love to wreck that arse.'
Once. Just once. Was that too much to bloody ask?!
OR
James Potter just wants to be bred.
Desperate Times

For a teenage boy, orgasm is practically the source of magic itself. When Severus Snape is cursed with unbearable arousal and the simultaneous inability to orgasm, he is driven to....desperate measures.Â
DARKFIC! PLEASE READ AND HEED THE TAGS! DEAD DOVE: DO NOT EAT!
no "i" in threesome
by swoons. Rated: E. Words: 3,700. Dub-con. Incest. Threesome. Time travel. Somnophilia. Harry/Snape. Harry/James/Snape.
âFuck me, Sev, this is too much for so early in the day,â James Potter says, when he pushes open the dormitory door to find his green-eyed doppelgänger balls-deep in Snapeâs arse.Â
Or: Harry learns the hard way why wizards should never tamper with time.
I have a sudden need to read all the Snack fics. Give me Snack, Snupin and Snames. I need them all! *nods*

I joke about it a lot, but in general Iâm not into incest as a kink for its own sake, just really into a particular type of insane emotional intimacy that is usually easier found in incest ships. God forbid anyone think I have any moral qualms abt explicit/filthy/unhealthy/problematic [add adjectives] sex for taboo ships cuz I clearly donât, but usually my focus is a high thatâs often emotional first and foremost. Like amnesia-less AU TĂşrin and Nienor might fall in love with & date other people, but theyâre still tidal-locked to each other. Not having sex, not kissing... Just sharing this complex emotional monster space of intimacy and trauma no one else can fully understand. Partners and spouses canât even touch it & they know it, lost battle. Even when theyâre not talking to each other, theyâre talking to the version of each other they keep in their head while smoke comes out of their ears. Anyway completely unrelated but did you guys know that [cesare borgia once took a 100 mile detour from a meeting with the french king to go visit his sick sister? Then came back to her again after the meeting to hold her feet]?Â
#did you say somewhat unhinged codependency?#no you didn't... that was me i said it#personal#queue cutie#inane post#i was literally thinking abt platonic footholding#<< im just gonna start using this tag for this type of thing

Yee haw! M//, original, discord, light-hearted
howdy, howdy friends! sweet baby jesus in a hickory rocker, what a year. i am vaxxed and waxed and looking for writing buddies once again after a year plus... things are still the same with me though, my tastes are more steady and predictable than bears shitting in the woods.
i hope you and your loved ones have been well, genuinely. it's been a scary year, and i hope to provide some humor and distraction if you are interested in writing with me.
so.
hi, i am 27, she/her, cst, and i work fulltime as well as go to school part-time, so while i cannot promise rapidfire posts, i am becoming better about daily posts! as long as they're relatively short, sweet, and to the point. i am not the person for you if you like posts that average longer than 3 paragraphs, my average is often comfortably lower.
limits/fun factoids about my style/"tl;dr are we compatible?" first:
+ when reaching out to me, please tell me your limits and any plot/character ideas!
+ addendum: i will not respond to messages that don't contain any information about you, your limits, and what you're looking to write or what characters you'd like to use! it doesn't need to be completely fleshed out, thanks!
+ i'm adaptable and laidback! however, i do not write pedophilia, rape/sexual assault, incest, abusive relationships, romantic large age gaps, nor master x slave.
+ i will not write with minors either, strongly preferred that you are 21+
+ quality is far more valuable than quantity regarding length. i prefer shorter nowadays! those tasty, 1-3 para potato chip rps, so to speak c:
+ third person only, please
+ i admittedly have a preference for m// lately
+ i prefer writing middle-aged to older farts! i'd love if you did as well
+ i love ooc chatter! i'd prefer it if you did too, but it is not a dealbreaker
+ if you're not feeling it or if life happens, that's okay. you are free to either tell me you want a change, drop altogether, or ghost, it's all good i promise â¤ď¸
+ i am not the person for serious or dark stories, sprinkles of angst are fine - but i am not the person for a trauma trainride. i respect it, but i am the kind of person who enjoys a bit of coffee with my cup of cream and sugar and dilfs
[cravings]
+ post apocalypse slice of life is also great. with plenty of humor to spare.
+ something silly about a witch and their familiar
+ anything with werewolves and their human beloved very concerned about the recent furniture chewing phase, and wow is frontline expensive for a 400lb beast.
+Â something a bit more rocky, but an old fashioned western physician falling for an outlaw/ sheriff/ rancher, etc. bonus points for post-apoc and western themed. please, i got the perfect ole grizzled doc for this c:
[modern]
+ i love modern c: i am happy writing about firefighters and lawyers, scientists, military readjusting to civilian life, boring divorced dads who find lifelong love with other divorced dads, fluffy slice-of-life, etc.
[(somewhat) historic]
+ btw, i am not a history buff - so be prepared for anachronisms galore! which might mean plumbing and dental care centuries before it was introduced.
+ noire crime! old grizzled detectives and their partners in crime trying to figure out these gosh dang murders. dang killers, bringing down everyone's vibes.
+ a detective moving to a podunk old town, with a ~mysterious past~. however, there isn't any mysterious past, the locals just humor the guy and i have a soft spot for the detective falling for the sheriff while constantly heckling him for assistance.
+ western! please, just... anything western. i love cowboys, ranches, train robberies, just... i will maybe propose if you let me indulge this.
[fantasy & monsters]
+ i am also happy to write fantasy!
+ fantasy can genuinely be blended into anything, into modern, sci-fi, post apocalyptic, etc.
+ i am also happy with pure, vanilla, cheesy fantasy - with kings, queens, beautiful warhorses and kingdoms by the sea, and conventionally attractive people with healthy teeth and... far less dysentery.
+ i am happy to write sci-fi into fantasy - hunters/mercenaries with eyes that can hologram maps and prey, platinum horses made of gaskets and titanium joints who breathe steam, a kingdom in the sky, anything!
[... guilty pleasures]
+ i love the cheesy and humorous things to temper the chaos. love writing that domestic, usually peaceful, sweet life of two happy people who have been together for ages or just met in their golden years after struggle and just... working for their happy endings.
+ though i am not usually interested in cheesy, obnoxious tropes... i have a soft spot for two grumpy, gruff guys falling for each other c:
[miscellaneous]
+ this is hardly an exhaustive list of ideas or themes that interest me! if you have something in mind that you do not see, or anything at all, please do let me know! i love brainstorming and hearing ideas c:
+ note: i love writing with pretty boy archetypes!! but i am inundated with them at the moment in my current threads, bring me yer more grizzled and rough and tough boys! the two characters i have in mind are too old and boring to keep up with pretty, lithe youngins!
what characters do i have in mind?
plenty! craving two in particular, but i have plenty more in mind if the following two don't catch your interest:
+ one is svelte, aloof, posh, thoughtful. the very characterization of something like... a sleek, abyssinian cat playing the cello. intriguing, a little odd, an intimidating, coded villain - but really, just socially awkward, and a sweetheart.
+ the other is beefy, grumpy, and also... a goof at the core. the archetype of an ornery grandpa with the warmest heart and a distinguished grey streak in his hair.
both are middle-aged men and adaptable to anything from old-fashioned fantasy, to modern, to sci-fi, to fantasy-modern hybrids, to post apocalyptic. they can be rogues, kings, survivors, lawyers, detectives, chefs, scientists, neighbors, loyal right-hands, anything from protectors and anchors to the village/office boob.
i am preferring to write the former gentleman, but i am up to write either, or someone completely different!
i am also happy to elaborate upon contact if you are interested! fortunately, each one is more complex than several adjectives and a stereotypical archetype. i'd also love to hear the characters you have in mind!
are you interested?
