Imagine if Flug was undead. Like. He had died in a plane crash. But Black Hat brought him back. And here's the kicker, Flug doesn't know he died. As smart as he is. He isn't aware of his own death.

He died gruesomely, he had enough time to plead for anything to save him. And he was saved, but only after death. And he doesn't know. Black Hat, for whatever reason, is keeping that information from him. And sometimes, Flug will get searing pain inside or lose control of his limbs because his body remembers death and knows he shouldn't be alive.

Maybe sometimes he starts rotting. His body decaying while he's still living. Because he shouldn't be alive. But he just chalks it up to a symptom of prolonged exposure to Black Hat. It always eventually goes away anyway, so it's nothing to worry about. Even when he can feel flames burning him, it's fine. He doesn't have time to think about random aches and pains his body is going through, he has work to do, damnit.

Anyway. Er. Why would Black Hat bring Flug back from the dead? IDK. They're soulmates and Black Hat doesn't want his mate to be dead lol.

But like basically Flug is not supposed to be alive. And his body knows it.
