Hello ISAT community!! So I made this comic for the In Tales Of Time AU (Odile Looping AU), so let it be known that there’s a lot of spoilers!! Especially for Act 6!!!!! Also, uh, implications of bad stuff happening to Odile! So be warned!!

I wrote a lot fanfic for @tealgoat In Tales of Time Au so I figured I should post it here and eventually AO3 once I figure out how that site works! Anyway here’s a short fic based on what @daily-odile / @sketchz awesome art they drew for the au! MAJOR ACT 3 SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT:

< You can’t move. >

< You should’ve known better than to trust someone like The King. >

< Wasn’t it obvious from the start? >

<That in all of your experimentation in the loops The King’s behavior for the most part remained constant.>

< If given the opportunity he kills you and your family. >

< You have plenty of data to back it up too. Numerous failed loops all etched into your mind. >

< A tale as old as time itself and yet you were too shattering hopeful that things would be different. >

< How many times do you have to fail until you can make things right? >

< How many times will your family pay for your recklessness? >

< Cold. Cruel. Calculating. >

<The King knew your heart wasn’t it in it when you said that redemption was possible for him. >

< It didn’t matter if a deluded part of you hoped that it would be true- your life doesn’t work like that does it? >

< Stories where people make amends and live “happily ever after” only exist in fairytales. >

< You are far too grown to indulge in that thinking anymore. >

< You miscalculated the King’s true capacity for cruelty and now Siffrin is paying for it. >

< You’re an idiot. >

< The king tightens their grip. >

< A series of screams overlap with one another. Begging for the King to stop, to let go of Siffrin. >

< The King stares directly at you. >

< Siffrin is reaching out to you. Begging for help. For the pain to be over.>

< You want the story to end. >

< You smell the familiar sickeningly sweet scent of burnt sugar. >

< You practically choke on the taste of iron in your mouth. >

< Cold metal hands encase Siffrin’s small frame. He’s trapped in a prison of your own making. >

< Siffrin screams and cries until he can’t anymore. Squirming around and failing to break away. >

< You hear the telltale familiar sound of metal gauntlets. >

< You hear bones breaking.. breaking… failing…rotting …! >

<You hear a thud of a corpse on pavement. >

< You feel a tug on your stomach and y- >

So @tealgoat has a splendid ISAT AU and I couldn't help but write this. Names mean so much to me in my family's heritage, so when I saw her post detailing "Loop would take Odile's surname as their own", I knew what i wanted to write

Ah, the creator of the Odile looping au is @tealgoat so for a definite answer, you should ask them. If you're just asking for speculation, I like to think that does happen. Odile is behind, so she may start thinking about what happens if she touches it and then sees it happen to Siffrin and loops back. Then, at times, whenever they pass one, she may touch it if she wants to loop somewhere forward or backward.

You used to be scared of heights, but each time you reached the top of the house, you became more desensitised to the ground below.

At first it had scared you, as expected. Then, you were unbothered. Then, you were… drawn.

One loop, you approached the edge.

You looked down at the ground, now several floors below you.

…

Talking to the Head Housemaiden was always such a hassle, it took time and energy to go through it.

Wouldn’t it be easier to just… end the loops now? Instead of going through the epilogue over and over? You know how this story ends.

It would be quicker, right?

It would be so… easy…

Maybe you could call it Reunited Stans AU?

Also, how do you think the gravity falls locals would see those two? I think Ford would end up getting out of the cabin much more because of Stan. Maybe you could draw them going to town for drinks? I don't know.

I like to think the town locals would either be horrified of them and talk about them as cryptids in their own right, or just be annoyed by their shenanigans

I just remembered they’d be in their early 20s when coming to Gravity Falls haha

But yes they’d definitely start out as “those weird twins that live in the forest” but once Stanley starts feeling like he’s actually safe from that old life Ford pulled him out of, he starts going into the town, which then leads to him dragging Ford along

It’s probably a mix of both, where the town sees them as those odd guys and then also get annoyed by what they do, but also I think they’d think of them as a new endearing staple of their town once the whole “newcomer / stranger” title fades from them. It’d be sort of the same way Stan is in canon with the Mystery Shack, where even though people find him annoying, they also always come to the events.

Also Stanley 😭 your brother does not wanna be in that bar, let him go do nerd things
