You’re so strong re: the roaches I would have screamed cried and threw up until I passed away. Bad enough I had to chase ONE across my bedroom floor, naked, with a wadded up piece of toilet paper a few weeks ago but FORTY?! I have so little tolerance for bugs I moved out of my college dorm early cause a roach fell on me in my sleep 😭 I hope the exterminator gets them All and you don’t have to deal with another roach for at least the next year

♥️ Okay so I do think part of the reason I’m not losing my fucking mind is that these are a small breed that only get half an inch long as adults. That makes them significantly less horrific to see around. Most of the ones I’ve seen are juveniles and babies so it’s kind of like seeing a lot of house flies around. If I had encountered 40 1 1/2 to 2 inch roaches over this weekend I would probably be losing my mind and would just have to leave lol.

The bad part of these being a small breed though is that they. can. fit. in. anything. the kind infesting my apartment are called german cockroaches. They are known to destroy electronics and they can squeeze into a space the thickness of a dime. They can be so difficult to get rid of that there is an entire subreddit dedicated to battling this singular breed. Apparently, they don’t nest, they fuck like rabbits, and a single egg case contains about 40 babies so an infestation can quickly get completely out of control. They don’t even seem interested in my food (though I don’t usually leave food out and especially not rn) but they LOVE water sources and I think they were coming in from other apartments on the pipes.

So this past weekend, I bought caulk, expanding foam, and wall spackle and filled every single crack and crevice in the kitchen and bathroom that I could reach. This almost completely eliminated the problem in the bathroom. The kitchen is a lot tricker, but I also laid down boric acid under and behind the fridge, oven, and dish washer which poisons and kills them if they run through it. (And THEN if other roaches eat their dead bodies, they also die). Then yesterday I laid out 18 poison food bait stations. They keep getting in my dishwasher when I open the door so today I filled it with baking soda because if they eat that their stomachs will explode. So I’m basically poisoning the dish washer water. THEY WILL DIE!!!!

okay so main worldbuilding--- i havent actually really thought this through but the idea is that basically its this really unoriginal kinda dystopian-ish world where there was this government created robotic spore, something that would go into your bloodstream through open wounds. the spore would then corrupt your body, and there was no way to stop it.

the idea was to keep it among the higher-ups of the country, using it as a sort of punishment for criminals but after all these victims inevitably re-entered society, questions started getting asked. eventually someone anonymous hacked into the blueprints, the information was released and the spore began spreading, infecting hundreds and hundreds of people.

(and yes, i realised after creating all this that its basically just the plot of wilder girls. do i care enough to change it? not really)

i saw this post on r/cyberpunkgame asking if there's any m/m or f/f npc couples in the game, and the replies are saying that yes there are. but i swear to god, i haven't seen any. and i have really paid attention to it, there are only straight couples in my game. is it bcs i'm on ps4? bcs my game def has some problems loading the npc models sometimes, for example i may get the same character a lot in a small area and even in specific npc groups. but the couples are always m/f.

No!! >:( I want Bugs Bunny to win!!! I want Puck to be utterly unflappable and a dick who only answers to one (1) person!!! I want Hermes to be a massive asshole who steals people’s cattle just because it’s said to be impossible!!!

I don’t want chaos incarnate characters to start being “more relatable” or whatever! They already are relatable! They’re relatable in to our most base parts, the parts of us that some of us wish didn’t exist! Watching Bugs and Puck fuck around with people appeals to that part within us that impulsively wants to push people when they’re standing somewhere they shouldn’t. Hermes is a messenger god, yes, but he is as far from serious as it is possible to be and is actually a great representation of how we should view the Greek Gods, as they were presented, just in general (since they got angry at the slightest provocation and were petty and yet found the most joy in fucking with each other because, at their core, every single Greek God was just a toddler).

Bugs is the type of character who I don’t want to see face punishment. He was written in a way that his fucking with people was charming because, for the most part, these people wronged him in some way. Bugs was less an asshole and more a representation of the idea of Karma, “what goes around comes around,” the idea that your bad deeds will come back to bite you. Bugs is the very embodiment of karma, and I don’t want to see him fail or face consequence or punishment because that defeats the whole purpose, he’s a chaotic, unstoppable force.

Puck is just… a fairy. He’s a fae. He’s supposed to be kind of an asshole, because the fae in English, Irish, Scottish, etc mythology were just kind of assholes. Puck is a dick who fucks up fucking with people, yes, but my enjoyment is found in the fact that the only person who can punish him is the Fairy King. It’s immensely funny to me. I don’t want Puck to be punished by anyone else, I just want him to pout and sulk and be forced to apologize and solve problems because the Fairy King is tired of his bullshit, I love it.

Hermes is generally represented pretty fairly in modern media as the type of person who pulls pranks and ties people’s shoelaces together, but modern media seems to believe I want to watch the consequences of his actions. I do not. Hermes appears with a letter, ties your shoelaces together, and vanishes. He’s too fast to catch. He’s harder to catch than a fish coated in soap and butter. He’s harder to catch than Luke Skywalker-

Basically, my enjoyment of chaotic characters is not based in seeing them be punished for their transgressions. Even if it was, I would like it to be one character solely who holds the leash, because it adds the comedic effect of having the Fairy King realize that the guy he sent to mess with the Fairy Queen perhaps went too far, which means that everything is Puck’s fault, not the Fairy King’s, would the Fairy King do that? Does he seem the type? (Yes) Puck is an exception, not a rule, and it’s because he is just a conduit through which the chaos energy of the Fairy King operates, which is immensely funny because, honestly, the only character who wins in a Midsummer Night’s Dream is the Fairy King, who is absolutely the cause of every single problem and everything that went astray went that way directly because of him, but he never gets punished and, in fact, would like to say that everything is Puck’s fault.

Which is, I would say, the funniest part of the entire story.

Which is, I say, the exact behaviour I want to see in chaotic characters. I don’t want them to be punished. I want them to somehow succeed despite everything and I want them to have the last laugh. This only really applies to the truly Chaotic Neutral characters, who would fuck with someone for the sin of leaving gum on the underside of a table. But it applies, and I don’t wish to see these characters change. I don’t think the idea of a force of chaos being chaotic is archaic or outdated and I don’t think these characters need to be “updated” for a modern audience, and I honestly despise the way people try to take recognizable characters, drain them of the traits that made them so fun in the first place, but try to milk us for all we own over them anyway because we foolish mortals hold the slender hope that, if we support the character, maybe one day they’ll act the way they should.

Updating characters for the modern era is not a bad idea or an impossible one. The Addams Family practically begs to be updated for a modern audience, just because it represented the opposite of a perfect nuclear household, despite outwardly appearing to be perfectly in line with the archaic and sexist standards of the time, and it shows that the people who are having the most fun are the ones who don’t listen to what they’re “supposed” to do, but instead listen to what they would like to do and are happier because of it.

But it’s a case-by-case basis and some characters and their actions are timeless. Stop trying to change the way these characters act. You can make new interpretations without removing the heart, you can create stories without changing the moral of the characters, and I would even go so far as to say you should put these characters in modern media, but I beg and plead for you to not destroy them.

Aaaaanother TGAA SwapAU stuff and it is my wonderful boy Albert as the prosecutor!!

I've changed some of the designs in this one like the jacket color to white to make a resemblance of a lab coat and reflecting of Kazuma white school uniform, as well trying to bring more Frankenstein's Monster vibe too hehe (aaand make him look more miserable too). He is also have a locket that have a painting of him and his two brothers, it was given by Andrew during his wedding!

First of I wanted to say I'm sorry I can't do full render of everyone here, do that with all of them would be death sentence for me so I couldn't do it 😭😭 Anyway without further ado, I'm going right into it! Start from left to right!

This first one Ryunosuke father replacing as Genshin Asogi. At first while brainstorming I was thinking of maybe do three switch around with Genshin, Jigoku, and Yujin but the it somehow felt weird for me. Then the thought of maybe involving Auchi in this too (like, imagine him being swap with Jigoku wouldn't that be funny and terrifying thought), but discarded that idea out because of Menimemo would have no one to swap with (i have to i'm sorry). Sooo I ended just design him from scratch, he is quite easy to figure out since Genshin doesn't really have much going on with him, but since we don't have any idea of original Ryunosuke's parents at all I have to take idea from something else, and that is his daruma doll for his eyes (he is half blind!! :D) and Phoenix DD/SOJ design (droopy hair and light vest) and everything else is from Genshin. His name is Ryuuki Naruhodo since Ryunosuke is another name for Ryuichi so I want to keep the train going!!

Andrew the screwdriver, oh I missed him- Anyway, I redesign his outfit because tbh his previous outfit is ridiculous 😭 it's funny and fun but I do want to take him seriously now. I'm tried to keep the A shape still but it's less subtle now, I think it turned out okay!! (Oh yeah, his cane is supposed to be a hidden sword but i forgot to put that in the drawing 😭). I was supposed to make his bowtie red like the hair tie but then I realized it will getting rid of the purpose of the hair tie (it referencing the blood on the tip of the screwdriver) so I ended up making it color silver.

The Lady Baskerville, I gave her similar design to Sunny(Herlock!Swap) with the bowtie, color palette to his mascot, and hair on her. I'm not really quite fond with her design, maybe I'll do redesign her again if I got a idea pop up like crazy but in the meantime this is her design.

Guess who is this?? Another one of Albert's tool is here finally!! Michael the crosshead screwdriver! Since we never see Michael anywhere and only mentioned once in the game he is, I'm just draw simple design for him (I wished I could put M shape in the design but I have no idea WHERE to put it 😭 so I tried used the bowtie for it). I also thought it would be nice to make him a defense attorney so I made the design for the badge too. Since he is sadly not going to be mentioned a lot in this AU since I'm trying to make the storyline same as the original, so I made a backstory of what happened in the fun fact tags. There was supposed to be more tool to be added but my god that would be taxing to design, so I have to make only Andrew and Michael as his only siblings.

The doggie Balmung replacement, Bolt, He is a Irish Setter! Beforehand he was supposed to be Borzoi but then research the background of the breed I don't how difficult it is to actually get one in that era so I have to changed breed :((
