Question: why does every dalish character just unquestionably believes that evanurises were evil mage tyrants?

Like, i mean, ok, we know this cuz we played Trespasser

But the dalish? They were living their whole lives seeing them as GODS. They spend centuries worshipping them as Creators asking them for help and guidance.

Holy hell, especially if they know that Solas-the-bald-elf is Fen'Harel. Why the fuck would they believe a god of trickery and betrayal???? who even by his own admission has imprisoned the Creators????

Anyone who could spread this information are either a surface dwarf (who knows jack shit about elven culture) or a tevinter magister (who's a slaver and should stfu). Why aren't dalish happy with the return of Creators? at least at the beginning?? Why don't thay try to join them?? (Cuz the game is a pussy ik)

Even if Inquisitor Lavellan told them, that wouldn't make sense. Lavellan is a one person, ONE. Who has been playing shemlen's pet for years already, their opinion and loyalty is much more likely to be questioned if anything

AND, if it is such a common knowledge that the elven gods are evil shits and they, like, exist....... why is no one stressed out by it?? Why does Minrathous not have some guards patrolling the streets in the prologue? Yeah, so the natural resources they use to make their painkillers are... kinda strong and they don't quite control the amounts so sometimes they work a little too well.

Is not that they don't like taking meds because they taste bad (they still taste bad) but because they get really vulnerable and clumsy after taking them, need someone to look out for them, and they don't remember anything while they are under the effects of the medicine.

Idk if I'm going to paint the second part, this took me longer than I thought.

Also, I'm making minor updates to their designs: Sun's hair is puffier(?) and has less loops, Moon's thicker so the braid is also bigger (and longer), and they both have ear piercings now but I'm still deciding the shapes so these piercings are kind of placeholders.

They have less layers of clothes here because they are at home so they dress more confy. Sun also took off Moons top part and necklace after giving him the medicine, he's gonna try to put him to bed.

The implications of Buck taking over Eddie’s lease could actually be so interesting (but we all know the writers aren't likely to do it justice).

In my mind, there’s two sides to why he’s taking over Eddie’s lease:

He’s helping Eddie out, yes. But also he’s clinging to the main thing left in LA that is his connection with Eddie (outside of the 118). He’s trying to hold on to their friendship in any way he can. And he’s giving Eddie somewhere to return to. This is the more obvious one in my opinion.

Buck is also running from the good memories of Tommy in the loft. When he tried to get Tommy to move in with him, that was him trying to cling to Tommy. But after that rejection, (and lots of depression/denial baking) he’s done trying to hold on. He wants to forget about all of the good/bad memories he had with Tommy as a misguided attempt at moving on. It would be putting a bandaid on the wound instead of trying to figure out what went wrong or to get actual closure with Tommy. Plus the loft is wrapped up in the Ali and Taylor breakups too. So maybe instead of a “let Buck fuck” era, we see Buck focusing on himself and his friendships instead. But this whole second idea is probably just a delusional headcanon.

I think overall though, this could be a good time for an arc where Buck (FINALLY) figures out his identity outside of who he is to other people, like Tommy and the 118. We started to get a self-discovery arc with 6a and the lightning strike where he felt unsettled, but it was never resolved satisfyingly in my opinion. We got a part of it with Buck kissing Tommy, but again we haven't seen Buck sit with the impacts of his sexuality on his identity as a person.

To be clear, I don't think he needs to have a long drawn-out deep dive into queer history and labels or anything like that. If they do, great, but also labels aren't important for some people. In my mind, as an ally, he already did that anyway and that's why we haven't seen his typical research dive. But just have some kind of conversation with SOMEONE (Hen, Josh, or heck, maybe a therapist?) about how accepting his attraction (dare I say love) for Tommy has changed Buck and his perception of himself. Have him focus on the transition from ally to member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

I think Buck deserves a chance to think about what HE wants. In a partner, in his other relationships, and for himself objectively without input from others. I want him to get back with Tommy, obviously, but some healing and self-reflection on BOTH their parts first would be good too. Maybe also a chance to bring back Buck wanting to advance in the LAFD in some way? We don't talk about his career aspirations enough.

Here’s Pearl! She’s sort of a weird werewolf/selkie thing, and most of the time just looks like a normal human person - but can transform into a big ol’ monster

(Big being relative here. She’s only ~7 ft tall (just over 2 meters) which is tiny compared to leviathans and such, but is very much not tiny compared to other people)
