It’s really, really annoying how many women will wear bikinis and lowcut tank tops and see-through leggings and booty shorts with their buttcheeks hanging out, but then turn around and be all, “Men should be able to control themselves and stop lusting after me!” Like girl, we know why you’re dressed like that, you know why you’re dressed like that, everyone knows why you’re dressed like that. PANEL NOTES
This follows the format of the catalyst stranger approaching the downtrodden protagonist in a dingy bar from behind, backlit by the hazy yellow lights and smoked out shadows. This is not a bar, but a kitchen—the center of any living space.
The borrowed text is tweaked, and excludes the descriptor “angry”, as the theme of the storyboards is not anger.
The use of red is limited and strategic, and scattered throughout like evidence; dusting for fingerprints. It’s tempting to drape Henry’s back in red against the blue background, as if bathed by an overhead lamp, but Ray is the anomaly. Henry is colored by an anxious, slightly melancholic blue (as well as shaky panel borders), while the flints of red signify danger (knock on wood) or non-literal symbolism.
The white wolf is curled around the blue in a protective gesture that also doubles as a stranglehold, snakelike.
Something, something, about wolves and lambs, consumption, and the simultaneous loss and retention of innocence through transformative processes. Note there are three lambs; these could stand either for Henry, Jasper, and Charlotte, or Henry (singular).

Having just spent a few hours unwinding on Love for Love’s Sake finale with friends, I gotta say that I think this is the most interesting and thought-provoking work we’ve had in bl in ages. It invites the viewer to think about all the pieces it gave us and come to our own conclusions about what was going on and what it all means, and depending on your personal lens and what you care most about in storytelling, you will connect to different aspects of it. There is no One Correct Read on this show, and I respect that.

No no listen. I just read an amazing fic about how the crown stab made Gal pregnant w a miracle baby and while in the fic it was a lure, the idea has now colonised my brain.
Think about what a fascinating, delicious twist on the Virgin Mary allegations it would be, what a powerful confrontation with both of their deepest, unadmitted desires, what a great manifestation of the foreshadowing in the (obviously false) story of mithril, of the "what is beauty if born from evil? no less beautiful" line it would be
If Celebrian turned out to be a Magic Special Baby, daughter of Galadriel, created in the powerful, soul deep confrontation of representants of light and dark who secretly share a cosmic soul bond, unexplainable to anyone else. The music created from the shocking harmony between the Lady of Light and Lord of Darkness and completely unexpected because nothing like this has ever happened before

It's interesting seeing the common Asexual experience of being infantalized as a black person especially since because black people, especially black women, are constantly being sexualized for just existing. And it starts young too I remember being told that I couldn't wear red or certain shorts, or a 2 piece bathing suit at age 7.
I cannot exist without being seen as something to be desired.
