I went out after watching Ghostblade's 2nd PV release, so I couldn't post in the morning lol. Ghostblade's PV is really interesting. My image of his backstory is so different compared to this. I thought that "oh, he's definitely gonna be mentally ill in some way like the loss of his wife or maybe even daughter.." Eh, but like.. That may be the part of that but not the main. I thought his lack of emotions was the result of the experimentations he suffered, but looking back to the 2nd PV, it looked like he was naturally like that. Being surrounded by multiple people that are sharing their joy, drinking, giving out food to each other while Ghostblade just sits there unfazed.

I figured that his parent or guardian thought there was an abnormality in him because how he wasn't like the "normal kids." They find it sick. Having a child that's incapable of expressing the emotions that a normal person has is sickening to them. So their solution was to take him to a doctor and perform what ever they do to "fix" him?? Dawg. He probably didn't think that lacking the most essential part of what makes human, "human", was a problem. He didn't know what was wrong with him-- what makes him different from other people. He never realized his symptoms were THAT bad. What he thinks of laughing, crying, smiling, or any other ways of expression always lead him into finding it "laughable." He literally can't find a purpose for those emotions. Anyways, speaking of that, here comes a person that changed him, his wife! His wife alone was able to affect Ghostblade to the point where it made him found what he was missing, and now he's unable to let go of it. Within just a day too, How romantic! /j... Too bad she died and his...eh.. possible daughter (Nuonuo) thinks of him as a stranger. Yes, just because she has grey hair and also had a scene together with Ghostblade..

His train of thought is so odd. It's no wonder why people didn't understand him clearly. Just him comparing the differences of animals' and peoples' cries and him being able to feel what they are is already weird enough. Go king! And comparing the peoples' tears to the oceans. Hello.. "Human tears are like waves of the ocean, carrying too many things that they want to leave on the beach." AND HIS IS EMPTY? GET OUT. This mf isn't letting anything go. Like, I have a feeling that there's gonna be a villain that uses this weakness as an advantage.. But Ghostblade will still find a way to win lol. I'm glad that we saw him crying at the 2nd PV though. It really shows us how much he changed. No matter who the person is, they will still be affected by the loss of a loved one. With a child is double the damage too, ouch! I feel like I'm gonna cry on his story. Just imagine being completely numb for your entire life then finding someone that changed you from that only for them to die, and then you can't respond properly to their death. Boo. How scary!

It looks like he's still getting check on everyday. Other than his disorder or whatever it's called, they could also be checking his abilities if it affected him?.. His powers looks like it makes him go in a crazed state. Make sure he isn't cuckoo always..

Hero Smile mentioned, is he also unable to make Ghostblade smile? It'll be funny to ridicule a hero that makes everyone smile not be able to make 1 person smile at all.. "Get a load of this guy." Ghostblade says while pointing at him in silence. (My thoughts on his character) Ehh.. to be honest I didn't really expect for him to be emotionless. (I've always thought of it but I lowk just discarded it..) I always thought of him as the "cold and silent killer" that they always use to describe him. Just giggling and pointing at him and saying "Oh yeah, that guy is just waaaaaay too nonchalant. haha!" Then I got STABBED today. Hello?? But he's cool. Definitely not letting something slide if it involves him, his daughter, his wife, and maybe something that's also responsible of changing him other than his wife! Quiet and all that, he wouldn't bat an eye to your direction. He isn't numb as before, he's able to show what he feels but can't express it very well. er. i hope. AURGH. Maybe....maybe..... also affected by the blood stained on his hands. It may be for good but sometimes, he just can't help but stare at it in a way.. Concerned looking ass 😭😭

I don't know what else to say about him since this is just a dilly dally whatever the fuck his 2nd PV contained and looking at the most interesting stuff of his character YADAYADA. I know that backstory is gonna be TRAGIC. I can't wait to see the angst edits out of this guy.

i’m cackling because I saw mayor goodway from paw patrol and Robin immediately came to mind

the only similarities they share is hair and skin tone. This lady would paint flowers in her notes like that one high school girl who’s barely grasped the concept of what taxes are, Robin however would murder a man without a second thought and then shove ten hot dogs in his mouth and tie him to a tree in a public park because she thought it’d funny to see what his family thinks

I want them to meet.

Do a story where Ryder is sick and the pups need extra help caring for him so they call mayor goodway!

It was a chilly winter afternoon in Adventure Bay when Ryder's flu worsened. Despite the pups doing their best to help, Ryder couldn’t quite manage on his own. He finally decided to reach out to Mayor Goodway for assistance.

“You need a warm place to rest, Ryder,” Mayor Goodway said over the pup pad. “Come to City Hall—it’s also my house, you know. Chickaletta and I will take care of you!”

The pups wagged their tails in agreement. “We’ll come too!” Marshall chimed in.

Mayor Goodway met Ryder and the pups at City Hall’s doors. She was bundled up in a cozy sweatshirt, noticeably oversized, with the name "Gustavo" faintly embroidered on the sleeve. Ryder gave it a curious glance.

“Oh, this? It was my brother Gustavo’s,” Mayor Goodway admitted with a laugh. “I ‘borrowed’ it years ago and never gave it back. He knows—it’s practically mine now!”

Inside City Hall, Ryder was surprised to find the walls adorned with cheerful pictures. The fridge in the kitchen, however, caught his attention the most. It was completely covered in photos.

There were pictures of Mayor Goodway’s family, including several with her brother Gustavo, like one where the siblings wore frosting mustaches and laughed mid-bite of a cupcake. There were also photos of the pups in action: Chase directing traffic, Skye soaring through the skies, Marshall covered in mud, and even a group picture of the whole Paw Patrol with Mayor Goodway holding Chickaletta.

“Wow, you keep these pictures of us?” Ryder asked, smiling despite his fatigue.

“Of course! You’re all part of my family too,” Mayor Goodway said warmly, patting his shoulder.

That night, Ryder and the pups stayed at City Hall. Mayor Goodway made her famous chicken soup—without Chickaletta’s help, of course—and tucked Ryder into a cozy guest room.

The pups, however, had other ideas. One by one, they snuck into Mayor Goodway’s room and nestled onto her bed. By the time she noticed, her bed was a sea of fur.

“Oh, you little rascals!” she said with a laugh, gently scooting over to make space for them. Chickaletta perched on her pillow, clucking contentedly.

Over the next few days, Mayor Goodway and the pups doted on Ryder, making sure he rested and got better. She read stories to the group at night and even let Ryder help bake cookies when he started feeling stronger.

As Ryder spent time with her, he noticed how motherly Mayor Goodway was—not just toward him but toward the pups too. Her quirky nature and warm heart reminded him of the kind of care he’d always imagined from a mom.

“Mayor Goodway,” Ryder said one evening as she tucked a blanket around him, “thanks for taking care of me and the pups. You’ve really made us feel at home.”

“Of course, Ryder. Family takes care of each other,” she replied with a smile.

From then on, Ryder felt a deeper bond with Mayor Goodway, seeing her not just as the mayor but as someone who cared for him like family. The pups, of course, decided they’d always keep sneaking into her bed whenever they visited.

And on the fridge, a new photo appeared: Ryder, Mayor Goodway, Chickaletta, and the pups all smiling around a plate of cookies—with frosting mustaches, of course.

Do you have any recommendations on how to draw diff body types? I want to draw more of them since not only are bodies fun to draw but I also want to understand anatomy and proportions more, and I don't want to struggle with figuring out what to do even when looking at a reference....thank you :3

Ahh i wish i had more specific tips bc most of it does come to me naturally along w being Absolutely blessed with a vivid enough imagination

What i can recommend though is easily shape language(if i am not misusing the term). Not to be self-centered but i like to think i demonstrate it relatively well especially with minos and sisyphus…Sisy’s a little more(very) stout while minos is Longer and more Tubular.

I was typing this ask out some time in the afternoon and i am now opening it again at 1:50 am.

Practice shapes and Observe various bodytypes and their proportions, people come in so many diff shapes and sizes. Just abt anything is possible
