hello friends,
i am busy right now in between being a caregiver for my grandmother in the hospital and doing stuff with uni, but i feel like i need to say something.
this is a immigrant safe space, this is a safe space for migrants. this is a safe space for those who are marginalized. i cannot in my heart of hearts ever and i mean EVER debate human rights.
i implore you to always stand for your fellow human. make sure no fascists, who believe that your fellow human is a criminal, will ever win. no one is illegal on stolen land, let alone stolen land from the people who inhabit the land.
if you support the man on the center of the global stage right now, especially a man who desires to destroy lives and the peace of many. including people like me, who are non-binary, then you have come to support the wrong page.
lgbtqia rights, especially trans rights, are human rights.
immigrant and migrant rights are human rights.
palestinian, congolese, sudanese and all occupied peoples and their rights are human rights.
if you do not support these, please know that i cannot write for you. and i don't think my writing, which has always tried to be inclusive, is even for you.
much love to everyone,
see you in three days!!!
i love you all!!!
ik i just run a tumblr smut page BUT!!!
FUCK ICE, free palestine, free congo, FUCK trump, FUCK musk, no one is illegal on stolen land, and if u disagree, FUCK YOU TOO!!!
i’ve said this before but if u support that fuckass orange in office, idc if ur a silent follower or ur like is ur only form of interacting with me, just know, i don’t want it!!! and u are a terrible person!!! 😛

Approximately 200 protesters gathered on a tree-lined residential street on Staten Island on Thursday night, many with high-powered flashlights on hand. They wielded those flashlights like strobes, beaming bright, jerky light over police barriers, into the windows of a former school where around 60 asylum seekers are living temporarily. Meanwhile, a man named Johnny Tabacco, a bitcoin-guy-turned-Newsmax-host, wearing an oversized blue pinstripe suit and slicked-back hair, stood on a truck bed and bellowed in a gravelly voice through a PA system that was turned up so loud that this reporter’s ears were still ringing hours later. Tabacco, who is one of the organizers, conceded in a short interview later on that the decibel level was by design. The organizers wanted to send a deafening message to their new neighbors: “You’re not welcome here.”

One argument that SOUNDS supportive of immigrants rights but ultimately backfires on itself is that immigrants do jobs “that Americans won’t do or don’t WANT to do”.
This argument is flawed because you can support immigrants rights without stereotyping the white working class as “lazy”. You can also support immigrants based on their mutual humanity and basic inalienable human rights and dignity and not because they can be used for cheap labor 🙄

I saw a video of a street I drive down everyday. Usually it’s always busy. It’s right next to the university. It’s always filled with students and residents and vendors. But in that video it may as well have been a ghost town. I noticed yesterday and today the street vendors are gone. The shops are less busy. I don’t know where they went. I hope they’re okay. I hope they chose not to show up. I hope they weren’t taken. I hope they’re safe. I know my hope doesn’t mean much when the video showed unmarked ICE vans and trucks patrolling the street. I still hope the worst hasn’t happened. I am afraid

So this is Trumps America?
A dozen masked men assaulting women. Whether they’re immigrants or not. Whether they’re “illegal” or not. These are f*ckin human beings! This is fascism! This is how it started in Germany right before WWII! WTF!?

Why are you more upset that people are protesting ICE than the fact that ICE is kidnapping people and violating their human right?
Why are you more upset at the protesters throwing water bottles and rocks at cops than the fact that those cops are in riot gear shooting rubber bullets and tear gas on protesters who were peaceful?
Why do you care more about destruction of property than human life?

This black warehouse is a brand new ICE detention camp just erected just 20 minutes north of Austin, TX. I'm sharing the video so you can get a sense of its scale. Calling the detention camps "camps" and not "centers" because they are destabilizing, not centering. (Also: its rapid construction proves that the US could build shelters to house and feed to every houseless person in this nation in just a few weeks. And no, we don’t want the filthy paws of private prison owners in our shelters. Neither do we want them on our immigrant siblings or our incarcerated siblings. But I do notice the federal capacity this reveals.) NOTE: This video was removed from Fb and from the 20 shares from my page, within 10 hours. Please share widely! 2*O*20*O Algreg St., Pflugerville TX
