High School Sweet hearts

Once upon a time

Back in high school

I was young dumb and in love

I thought It would never end

We were both 16

Probably too young to be so serious

But so what I loved her

I don't need a bunch of girls I just want her

Walking to class holding hands

Those where the days

Seeing her was the highlight of everyday

I had perfect attendance I never missed a day

I didn't want to let one day pass

Without seeing her

I use to neglect my school work

Just to talk to her on the phone

I use to look forward to the weekends

We use to spend it together

Even though we never had privacy

My parents wouldn't let me breathe

We never got left home alone

I always had a full house

Even when we did

I had to babysit my sister

But it's ok at least I get to see my girl

We were high school sweet hearts

Love sweeter than candy

My dad said it was puppy love but I tell him it was full grown

I really wanted us to last

But like most things in high school

This was just temporary

Even though my love was permanent

It wasn't enough

To save the relationship

It was fun while it lasted

But now it's over

She was my first Girlfriend

She was the first girl I dance with

She was my first love

She was my first heartbreak.....

Painting in PJs Often times the thing you are scared to do is the very thing that I need to do because it becomes the antidote to all the things that scare you too. So last night, with my ever busy spinning head that's been worrying and anxiety driven, I said the heck with it I'll paint because i just knew that's what I really needed to do in order to align with myself and soul, in order to get out of my head. In PJs. And it's not the act of painting that made all the different (it actually did, but my point follows. Keep reading→), but the act of deciding to listen to what your inner creative voice is telling you is what made all the difference. So, in PJs. Again and again through painting I was able to realign with my truth and trust the process wholeheartedly. Painting always teaches me it really is the process that matters and it is the process that leads you to the place you are meant to go. It really is true. You are going to be ok. Trust the process. So yes in PJs. Forgettable

I'm so forgettable

Nothing I do or say is memorable

I feel so invisible

I'm so damm miserable

I'm always the one that goes unnoticed

That's the only role I've ever played

And I'm sick of it

I'm tired of being forgettable

Never been pursued by anyone

I can only imagine how great that would feel

Building a bond

Is something I've always wanted

But It feels so out of reach

Nothing will ever change

Forgettable today

Forgettable for all tomorrow's

Maybe they have bad vision

They have to be blind
