In s1 El and Will missed each other entirely. When he came back, El got trapped in the upside down instead and s2 was the same thing - Will and Mike worked together as duo for most of the season and El was off doing her own thing.

In s3 we learn that El barely spends time with the rest of the party and she only connected with max after the whole ordeal about Mike's nana (which happened months after the ending of season 2), so El and Mike spent all of their days together completely alone at her cabin or actively ignoring and ditching the party during group hangouts

We don't actually know what happened during the time skip from the battle of starcourt to the byers move, but I don't think it's a stretch to say Mike and Will's friendship was still off (especially because of their infamous fight and "it's not my fault you don't like girls")

In s4 we know El and Will finally got to properly know each other - they're family now, not only acquaintances with a connection to the supernatural - but when Mike arrived in Lenora... well, the airport and rink o'mania scenes speak for themselves. They were being weird and El was obviously too preoccupied with her own issues to actually do or say something about it

But El's not stupid... so do we think if she had seen how Mike and Will act around each other, she would've known?

She's really perceptive and her upbringing being so disconnected from society also means she doesn't see the world through straight and heteronormative lenses...

sure, they were rivals, enemies, on opposite sides of a war and a generational feud, yet, Davos can't help but scream when he sees Aeron's sword leave his hand, stolen by one of Davos's own kin, because he is a fool with a sword, not strong enough or skilled enough to use it.

he can't help but run to him when he sees the blade enter the brunettes throat, as distant panic runs through the boys face, blood trembling up past his lips, his body quickly sagging to his knees before tumbling to the ground entirely.

he'll die running to his side, despite him already being beyond saving, surely dead where he lay, desperation to hold him one last time driving him to abandon any attempts at vigilance and awareness of the battle around him. he'll be caught in the action and fatally wounded, left to die staring at his enemies beloved's body as his own blood soaks into the surrounding soil.

they'll die apart. Aeron died alone. Davos died reaching for him.

My prediction for October 19th is this. Dan and Phil holding small pride flags together, FOB and/or MCR playing in the background, and in sync they say, “no but seriously imagine it” before they turn to each other. They smile softly as they giggle together and then lean in until the moment their lips almost touch and the video abruptly ends. They never acknowledge it again and act confused when people bring it up afterwards. Effectively, they take the opportunity to gaslight the hell out of us

In light of the events from the recent ep (Ep 23)…it suddenly gave me this idea of how Shu could end up as Gilarc’s host. Long story short, Guil Arc’s part of the Sage’s trial, gets Shu to be Guil-Arc host by convincing him (or using his concern for Yuma’s safety/insecurities) promising that he can “free” Yuma from the responsibility of being a hero (or something to that sort), ergo keeping him from potentially dying at some point because of being Arc. So on top of the shit that just happened in ep 22, from the whole “I don’t wanna lose you” bs and Shu snapping at Chief Ban cuz he’s basically watching the love of his life fucking get his ass beat with no chance of winning (and if you include the anxiety he felt during the time Yuma disappeared for 4 days during the Blazar Crossover arc, as evident in his diary entries) have this angsty drawing I did based on a screenshot from the trailer (and potentially a what-if scene for the movie lmao)

I think im going to have to start not caring or worrying about if im somehow “supporting” or “promoting” bad things or people with my actions or money because it literally gives me so much anxiety, not because im worried about doing something genuinely bad, because i know how to navigate nuanced moral situations and trust that i will know through discernment when to do or not do something, but because im afraid of other people, especially large groups of other people, thinking i or my friends or anything i care about is evil because we are navigating a situation differently morally lol

Having to live in a world where your religion/spirituality is only seen as a weird cringe online thing that no one actually realizes is a spiritual belief and thinks is just "identifying with a character" or making jokes about it sucks and if you try to talk about it people just call it discourse or say you're not letting people have fun (and their fun is making fun of a spiritual belief or misunderstanding the belief because of just how many people co-opted our terms). I just wish I'd be able to say I'm otherkin(d) and alterhuman and people to take it seriously and not think I'm any more or less delusional than they'd think of any other religious person, as well as for it to not be misunderstood. I don't mind if people don't know what it means, but I really hate how people just think it's like, a Tumblr/Twitter/TikTok thing where people relate to a character or bash people for stuff and getting into discourse or doing dangerous stuff. I don't know how to word all this well but...yeah. Just thinking about it. Because of how it's been conflated online, even if you try to explain, people don't understand that yes, it's a genuine spiritual movement, and no, people aren't just having fun, they co-opted religious/spiritual terms which is just as serious and important as with any religious/spirituality. People will say, well, language changes and words change, but you wouldn't say that about terms from other religions or spiritualities being used wrong or improperly.

Edit: I do not think they are inherently religious/spiritual terms but they are for ME and I'm talking about my religious experiences as otherkin/alterhuman. I am intellectually disabled and it is very frustrating to see many people misunderstand me. I am literally not capable of wording this in a better way that covers all the nuances to make sure I am appeasing everyone. I cannot. So I kindly ask for people to stop saying I am saying it is inherently religious and spiritual. I am just talking about myself here. I am turning off reblogs because people need to stop assuming my mental abilities and capacities and putting words in my mouth.
