Sleepyhead Darlings Imaginary Friend Yan is....Marlow! [The proper term for them is a dream fiend, but I feel it's close enough]

Made of marshmallows and their creator's sweetest dreams - Marlow brings blissful eves to their dearest in prayers their happiness and comfort in the real world will provide new venues for them to explore in their dreams. Marlow tucks darling in with not one, but numerous kisses till Darling has had their fill and is able to drift off knowing how much they are cherished. Pillows are the last of Darling's concerns with Marlow around - plus they aren't edible like Marlow is! If Darling is having a troublesome night sleeping Marlow has a nice cup of cocoa prepared to ease their restless mind. What would Darling do without them?

Marlow adores Darling's dreams - both hearing about and being in them. It's a special place only the two of them can exists and Marlow is so grateful to have that. They'd do anything to assure Darling gets their well deserved slumber - even if it means distancing them from those who long to engage with them. Their own sleeping beauty to care for and take plenty of naps with. Existing and living with Darling is a dream Marlow never wants to wake from!

• Konig has a secret lil spot in District Nine he’ll go to be alone on his days off. it’s a pond almost big enough to be considered a lake. He’ll sit on the grass near the forest line and just. Think. Mostly about reader.

• He feels so dumb about it and he would never ever admit it but he craves human connection so bad he’ll pretend he’s got friends with him. Or imagine Reader’s there with him. :(

• At lunch at school, Konig would sit by himself and listen to nearby conversations and pretend he was apart of the friend group. Like an IRL comfort podcast 😭

• He doesn’t have much time for it, but Konig loves reading. So enamored with the idea of getting sucked into a different world and pretending he’s someone and somewhere he’s not.

• Plucky gets detention in school regularly. She’s tight with the warden the poor underpaid schmuck who’s gotta watch the unruly kids

• If she didn’t have your birthday, Plucky would be an Aries

• She gets away with a lot more than she should because she’s just so hard not to love. how you supposed to stay mad at a bitch this funny.

• Price has always wanted to be a dad but he doesn’t feel right bringing a kid into such a cruel world. It also makes it extra hard for him to not get attached to his tributes because he can’t help but put himself in the father figure role.

• Price often passes out on the couch and Ruby will put a blanket over him and tuck him in :)

• If weed is a thing in the HG AU, Plucky would smoke big doinks in amish. smokin grass in the wheat fields like a lil degenerate yknow what i’m saying.

• Konig always gets post-nut clarity baaaad but he didn’t when he fooled around with reader 😭 He only felt bad bc he didn’t last long.

• Konig is so… gentle. With everything. He’s always so afraid of misjudging his strength - breaking things, hurting people, etc. He’s just extra cautious of his surroundings in general.

• Konig’s stomach hurts pretty much all the time. It’s the anxiety.

I absolutely love her sm, she gave me a heart attack when I first found her but she was an instant favorite for me, so I decided to make my own design for her in my style!!!

In my head she gives a lot of Betty Boop vibes, idk how to explain it but yeah. I’m also calling her Betty too. For my oc she’s a major supporting character :’)

Random Crossoververse Headcanons

- Mac faced massive gifted kid burnout during high school, like it was really bad. It trickled into a brief party boy phase.

- Blossom and Dexter dated in high school, but broke up senior year over rather complicated reasons that could only be summed up with “they just weren’t right for each other”.

- None of the Powerpuffs know how to drive. Literally why would they when flying is so much faster.

- That being said: Dib drives an old pick up truck, Dexter usually uses their motorcycle, and Mac has a license but simply prefers public transportation.

- Mac still visits Fosters whenever he gets the chance. Luckily Herriman became way more lenient with the whole “having to visit every day so Bloo isn’t put up for adoption” rule cause he understands that Mac is now an adult with responsibilities.

- Dib likes extreme horror books. He’s not sure if the enjoyment is ironic or not.

- Buttercup picked up sewing and knitting after having to patch up her security blanket a few times. She noticed that it helps calm her down on nights when she’s frustrated or angry about something…and yes, she still has the blanket.

- Bubbles had an emo phase that only lasted like a month, but she still listens to a lot of the music.

- Blossom is a huge video game and comic book nerd. She tries to keep it a secret, but she’s really bad at hiding it.

What are your relationship headcanons for Pooky x Polo?

-Polo is Pooky's cheerleader, 100%.

-Had Polo accompanied Niccolo to the old asylum where the confrontation with the ghost went down, he'd kiss the stuffing out of Pooky for helping save Niccolo and killing the bastard.

-"Kick his ass, babe, I've got your flower," energy.

-Pooky often doesn't have patience for Polo's dramatic monologues and will kiss him senseless in turn until Polo can't think straight or remember what he was saying.

-Polo's nickname for Pooky is "hot stuff."

-They snuggle together a lot because Polo likes how warm Pooky is.

-Pooky loves it when Polo helps him groom his wings.

-Polo probably gets lowkey jealous of Annabelle at times because Pooky's always fussing over her.

More Characters For Classically Modern!

FINALLY, IT'S BEEN ABOUT A YEAR SINCE I MADE THE ORIGINAL POST.

I finally got more concepts for the characters that were wips! So now we got Diesel, Henrietta, Hannah, Emily, Henry with actual personalities! Also, we got some new characters like Alfred and Timothy! Let's get right to it!

Characters:

BoCo: Looks intimidating, rough, brooding and is somebody that you wouldn't want to mess with. But he's actually really nice and kind just like his og self. Though he can and will bend you into a balloon animal, he is very strong. Is often weary and distrustful of people because of rumors spread at his old railway of how dangerous he was made to be. He is very good at telling twins apart without looking at them. Inspo: Bo from the Epic Tales of Captain Underpants.

Henrietta: Spunky, doesn't care for rules, bouncing with life and motivation and is just a cool old lady! She and Toby are partners for life and crime! Although, unlike og Hannah, she does have the ability to calm herself down and stay focused. Also fuck the police haha. Inspo: Madame Foster from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends.

Hannah: Is basically that fun teacher, parent or relative that you meet at some point in your life. She loves to teach new engines or coaches how to be Really Useful while also teaching them how to relax and to have a good time when your work is done! Is besties with James. They love to shit talk about modern society. She does not get along with Edward, there's something about him that feels off whenever she looks at him in the face.... Inspo: Two From TPOT.

Emily: Instead of Henry being one of the First Three engines on Sodor, she instead takes his place! Which means, she was a guy when Sodor just had its own railway. She didn't have any mechanical problems but she was horribly miserable inside because of her gender dysphoria. Fed up, pissed at everybody and everything and bites more than she chews. (Literally) So she would often vent to Gordon or Edward about her problems. Eventually, Emily was sent to Crewe to be given gender reassignment surgery. Once she was done, she felt like a new engine completely! It seemed like all of the world's problems just disappeared in a snap! Loves to collect gems and crystals from the quarry or mines. Is now determined, amiable and huffs and puffs! Inspo: Frankie Foster from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends.

Henry: Fatherly, generous and is an excellent shoulder to cry on. Instead of having trouble burning coal, he now has problems with his wheels and brakes. They either don't let him move, let him move too soon, don't allow him to stop or can't let him stop at all. The infamous Flying Kipper crash actually happened due to the tender engine's brakes not working at the last second. Repairs were made to fix the wheels and the brakes. Still loves nature but is now interested in sea life. Inspo: Mr. Ree from The Epic Tales Of Captain Underpants

Alfred: Sure, he still might be snobbish, arrogant and rude. But this time, he actually has a hidden heart of gold that somehow nobody has seen yet. Not even Gordon, the optimist that than happens to know everybody on the island! That all changed when a little green tank engine came to the railway. As quick as a fox landing headfirst into the snow and then getting stuck in it, Alfred and Percy quickly formed one of the most brotherly bonds that the quaint island has ever seen. He helped, defended and hanged out with Percy whenever the pair had time to see each other. However, the pair were unfortunately taken away from one another when Alfred voluntary sacrificed himself in a raging fire and got burned alive. Inspo: Mr. Krupp from Captain Underpants.

Timothy: He may look like a nice and harmless fellow, but don't be fooled. He is actually one of the most abusive and callous engines to ever exist. According to Thomas, he was known to be physically and verbally abusive towards his younger brother and constantly terrorized him. And was the only reason why Thomas started inventing new items, it was to protect himself from Timothy. Died when he got pushed off by Thomas on a bridge and fell into a rapid stream below. Inspo: Terrence from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends.

I truly don't think Tomo would be able to see the aranaras. They are someone forced to grow out of that "child-wonder" early on in their life. Never had the time to be a "child" nor dream like one. From the start they centered themselves towards surviving and getting by so this "freedom of imagination", of dreaming and being as careless as one could be, was never something they had the chance to experience. Tomo's dreams as a child would be mostly about eating their favorite treats or having a warm roof above their head but those were occasional at best. You could say that they had to "grow up" to make it another day and that took away any chance to be a kid like any other. This has made them lose that kind of opportunity to see past some of the cruel reality of life. They are someone that focuses on what's present and what takes to get to that tomorrow, such way of thinking has never allowed them to have that pure and "free" way of seeing things like kids that most people lose when growing up. Most lose it when growing up, Tomo, on the other hand, wasn't able to even have it with everything they were subjected to as a child.
