i have this really silly thought. feel free to add on/go wild with it if this inspires you.

The family, traveling together post-canon. Somewhere on their travels, they meet this person. This person decides for whatever reason that they do NOT like Siffrin at all. So, they get the bright idea of trying to manipulate the group into thinking Siffrin doesn't like the rest of them. After all, he's so quiet! They hardly add on to conversations! CLEARLY he doesn't like them! He's just traveling with the others cause its easier than being by himself!

Except. This doesn't even REMOTELY work on ANY of the others.

Siffrin doesn't like us? You mean "trapped themselves in a time loop because he didn't want us to separate" Siffrin? "Used a forgotten Craft to wish for all of us to stay together" Siffrin? "Almost broke the world because he didn't want to say goodbye to us" Siffrin? THAT Siffrin? Doesn't like us?????

Just. Post canon family being very secure and confident that Siffrin wants to be with them and keep traveling together and literally NOTHING can convince them otherwise

and i think it's such a perfect analogy because despite looking like he could punch a bear to submission (he probably could, to be honest), i bet this man would playfully take your hand into an impromptu slow dance (or perhaps even a full blown waltz if you're up to it) whenever you complain about having nothing to do while you visit his office.
