And If You keep Insisting That He Is, He's Gonna Skewer You :). He's holding onto Xiu Ya so he can return his most favored disciple's sword when he returns. It's on his hip right next to Zheng Yang where it's supposed to be.

engineer doesn't get enough love on this blog considering how much I cannot express my devotion to him, so I’m working to fix that :) this is similar to what I did for damien but it took foreverr!! iswm lighting is so so pretty which makes it impossible to get right ;;u;; the saturation is really high and there's multiple light sources so in terms of rendering it, its like it was personally designed to leave me dead on the floor :))))) either way,, I'm happy with how it turned out!! he’s very prettie :))

idk why but i just had an image of simon running around dressed as a vampire as a kid laughing and trading candy and then when he goes to bite into the chocolate bar the scene flickers and he's sixteen and biting into maureen.. so i guess i'll start off with the hc that he dressed up a vamp as a kid? bc that image is never leaving me o7

as for sizzy as a Unit..

izzy def would have had a pretty limited understanding of the holiday before hanging out with him and clary (halloween in its most basic form is pretty much every day for someone who can see the shadow world after all)

i do think simon was invited to a party with the band in 07 and i was gonna say shit was too crazy after cofa for him to have bothered going but i can see him mentioning the party in passing to izzy and her being like pls i am in desperate need of a party rn

but then they show up and it's so far from the last party they'd been to together (magnus's). like 20-30 kids packed into an apt in brooklyn and the music is loud and the costumes are so ridiculous

i think the guys probably wanted simon to use his sexy vampire mojo and show everyone up but come on this is a mundane halloween and simon's gonna take the opportunity to not be the daylighter for a bit

in the future him and izzy will definitely do coordinating couple costumes but not in 07 nosiree. simon throws something together from his closet. maybe he'll be a red shirt from star trek that would be funny since he actually can't die despite how many people want him to. izzy on the other hand gets some pointers from clary and decides to go as idk church or smth (clary: you could be a cat? / izzy: omg can i be church) something classic but also clever or personal

It's Scope :)

That dumbass would probably only admit that directly in 10 million years (they will eventually)

Opti reads reports & papers from science and engineering departments and Scope's papers stood out to them because they are entirely unprofessional, messy and on unique topics. They read dat shit like a morning newspaper.

Before they met in RP the first time, I had the idea that Optical is a bit of a fan of Scope due to that and respects her from the get-go.

They start to consider Scope their best friend when both are figuring out how socializing works in their shared autistic goofiness.

11) What was your inspiration for your OC?

Ooooh! Hm.

It was mainly just filling a role I felt could exist in the series (non-combat elite, special unit to do with the titan)

I wanted to make a character that protects a character built to protect because in my mind for TCam I was rotating the quote "I am so tired of being strong". So, Opti was made to care for him and lift the burden of being The Strongest Unit.

As for their personality or design.. I just winged it lmfao. I later realized where certain parts of them came from. At the start all I knew is they are an unprofessional workaholic and they don't like being short lol Winry and Ed from FMAB for their hotheadedness, dislike of being short, and getting mad about broken tech Essek Thelyss from CR for social awkwardness and floatiness Nott the Brave from CR for a quote that explains a bit how Opti sees their protectiveness of TCam Hoverballs on their boots cus I like hoverballs in GMod ;p the rest came from just making up reasons why they're the way they are and from interactions in RP c:
