Doesn't decorate his room AT ALL. Most of the time he is in the living room watching movies or working

During Covid he starting cooking for the family "experimental style" and it looked like a popular dinner bcuz everything was in the same bowl

Sometimes referes to Alfred as "oldie" (my father called his mothers "gordis, viejis, negris, negrita") as an andearment. Or straight up calls him "baldie"

somethin's not right...

i did it!! anyway the song i used for inspiration for this piece is "bugging!" by brakence. tbh i've been thinking of this au on and off for a bit, but that night when the full album of hypochondriac dropped and i listened to it everything fit!! it all made sense!! and i liked it so so much!! i could not focus for days/weeks when i put it all together, i was soooo excited!!! i made a thing!!!

its a shame im no good at animating (i could learn but i wanna be good. right now.) because in my head i thought of like, cool pv's for each song in that album. it was soooo cool!!!!

anyway in this first part our "Sig" demon is staying at the temple his benefactor, "Ms. Goddess" works at. while it's lovely staying there with her, (even tho the other people of the temple keep a good distance from him, for reasons he's not quite sure of) as time passes he cant help but feel like something, everything is wrong. his memories are fuzzy and he's not sure how he even got there, and it feels like something is calling for him beyond the temple grounds.

At first he ignores it because it seems like no big deal, but he keeps waking up in places he doesnt remember falling asleep in, and he starts seeing someone that he swears he knows from somewhere. but it seems like no one else sees that person. its not long before he starts seeing places he doesnt remember going to, overlapping with the reality that he's living. its getting real disorientating. everything is fuzzy, nothing feels real anymore but that damn calling sensation.

He also starts to notice the weird things "Ms. Goddess" does and tells him, that contradict with what he thinks he knows about the world and himself.

here's my happy belated birthday lip gallagher post, thank you to this anon for requesting! no warnings, just cute shit <3 im thinking late model lip, s10/s11. wc: around 500, little less probs

lip is up before you almost every morning, gone by the time you even think about opening your eyes. he's up at seven to be at the bike shop by eight and often leaves you with with no more than a mumbled goodbye, he always prefers to let you sleep.

but this morning was a special morning. at least, in your eyes it was. while you snuck out of bed with as much care as possible you wondered if he would even be appreciative of the gesture. lip didn't like the cacophony of it all—the cake and presents and songs—he didn't enjoy being the center of attention.

you knew that, and you heeded it well as you cooked up a simple breakfast; an omelette, some fresh fruit, and a little raspberry pastry he would never admit that he loved. but you knew. you finish it all up with a cup of coffee you know by heart—dark roast, two sugars—and added in add a half pump your favorite cinnamon syrup. you just had a feeling he'd like it.

the sun is beginning to peek over the horizon as you wash the dishes you'd used, no use in leaving them for later. by the time you're tiptoeing back into the bedroom the gentle rays are seeping through your thin curtains, and lip is blinking groggily up at you while they cast him in a gentle glow.

"i had hoped i'd get to wake you up," you say with a smile, coming to sit on the edge of the bed. lip eyes the plate, then looks back at you.

"wha's this all about baby?" he grumbles, knuckles digging into his eyes for a moment before he reaches out to touch your hand.

you gather the courage to say it, despite knowing he could never be mad at you when you were being oh so sweet. "it's y'birthday," you tell him, and hand over the plate as he sits up.

lip takes one look at the food, that signature grin pulling at the corners of his lips already. "oh is it?" he asks, and you nod in response.

the gears in his head seem to turn for a moment before he balances the plate on the nightstand and pulls you right into his lap. a surprised 'hmph!' escapes you before you're giggling at the way his arms wrap tightly around you.

"jesus, i am one lucky son of a bitch," he remarks against your skin. nimble fingers tickle your sides just to draw more of those sweet, pretty laughs from your lips.

you wriggle in his grasp, fingers clutching at him and pulling his body down with your own as you fall sideways onto the mattress. lip tucks your body into the gentle curve of his own, laying a smattering of kisses to your still sleep-messy hair.

"happy birthday baby," you tell him softly, and he beams like the sun when you do.

LMFAOO YESS TRUST ME, IVE SEEN THIS AFTER DOING MY OWN RESEARCH ABOUT VICTORIAN RINGS, ITS SO PERFECT!! AND THE FACT THAT ITS GREEN TOO LMAO, prince albert was a possessive slytherin confirmed!!🤪 but yea ill DEFS be incorporating a snake into the final design of cloras ring HAHA. i basically HAVE to...yknow, for period accuracy 🥰

WOO YAY im glad i could inspire you to start writing!!!🙏and i get it, writing fanfic is defs self indulgent and for ourselves first and foremost, but obvs nobody wants to release their work into the void😩 as for how my own fic got popular, one of the main things is defs timing. i published the first chap basically within the first week of the game being out (it came out on the 10th and my chap was on the 18th) so it was there right at the peak/start of the fandom. but i also dont wanna attribute it all to timing BAHHA cuz i think im a pretty good writer and that helps....my fic also didnt get popular right away, but i was consistently posting every single week + eventually started adding art every single week, and was just really dedicated to not only writing but also drawing art for it (which is also obvs another huge factor/probs the biggest factor). ive had so many ppl tell me they started reading my fic bc they saw my art on pinterest or something LOL, and some ppl have even read it fandom-blind bc they were into the seb/clora dynamic??? which is another point actually. i always joke about how i love my cliches and good girl+bad boy dynamics, and that im unashamed about loving them LOL, but also...they're cliches for a reason!!! lots of us eat that shit up!!!😤so i think thats defs another factor, vs if my fic was a bit more niche and avant garde LOL the fandom is also (understandably) a lot slower than it was at the beginning of the year so itll be harder in general, but maybe you could commission art to go with your fanfic? ive seen a lot of other HL fanfic writers do it, and i think it defs helps to draw attention! GOOD LUCK and i hope you keep writing!!!🫡💖💖💖🙌

i decided to stick with his colour palette from the og series - largely because its so iconic and i feel like it really fits him. i do think itd be interesting to explore his development through colour, though - over time, ive added more of his signature colours as he comes into his own as a person bc haha symbolism go brr.

a few notes:

the seven-pointed star is a general symbol for the divine warriors. i thought it was a little silly to use a cross - realistically, there isnt any reason for crosses to be used unless theres a specific reason in the theological canon for them to be used (as there is in christianity), so seven pointed star for the warriors (im counting xavier as a divine warrior in my rewrite).

the scar on his forehead is from when hes turned into a juror - ill probs do a post on the jurors in a bit. katelyn has a matching scar but she hides it under her hair.

hardcore on the divine warriors get magical girl transformations headcanon. sparkles and glowy bits and all. he also has a juror transformation prior to this (its basically the same as his regular armour but he loses all colour in his skin and hair) but i couldnt be bothered drawing it (ill probs draw it later).

his face isnt very expressive, but his body language speaks volumes - he could simply shift his weight and the entire vibe of a room will shift with it.

he does get very flustered very easily though.

his fighting style is largely focused on tanking hits until his opponent gets tired, which is when he goes in for the kill/defeat. very much based on a combo of strength and endurance.

it definitely helps that hes freakishly strong, even before the plot happens.

Slaugter!Grian & Death!Scar feeding their enteties >:)

if u not familiar with this au basicaly:  grian is avatar of slaughter so he feeds his parton by killing, while scar is patron of death so he feeds it by dieing(then he comes back). So grain experiencing hunger that comes with being a avatar, is offered by Scar to kill him.

i will preffes this that THIS ISNT HERMITSHIPING but i know that the pose i went for is rather intimite,  so im adding that tag so ppl who dont wanna see this type of stuff  wont have to :*

Ideas behind the pice: 

Basically, i wanted to show how Grian is hesitant to kill Scar both him being his friend and second they both know one-day Scar won't come back from the death he encountered. He can't help the hunger so he does it anyway but you can tell he is unwilling to do so by how his hand is bearly holding on to scar, in contrast to Scar being full for it so his grasp is firm, as well as he tries to comfort Grian through this act, that why his hand rest on his cheek and why they are almost in hugging position. Im very happy with the pose i came up with so wanted to gibe litter behind the scene that came with me drawing it ^^ 

The music sheet in the background is a nod to slaughter being associated with music. The soung called Allies or Enemies by Crave wives that i looove and fits life series desert duo sooo much. 

Edit: Also forgot about o mention if you zoom on Grian hads you can see the physical corupcion from Slaughter goes whith his veins to indicate its in his blood, poetically given how much of other ppl blood he spils

i love all ur comics and somehow they always manage to gutpunch me- and ur composition and the way they read is always so beautiful and adds so much to the message youre trying to get across

yeah lol let's get into it! Ive spent maybe 5 or so years refining this process to the point it's at now so it's pretty much my standard procedure now. I'm going to use Now that you're gone as my primary example here since i still have most of the planning stages associated with it (my laptop does not have a whole lot of storage left so i usually delete my planning once the comic is finished lol) but i'll try to throw in some other examples too!

I almost always start with a written script. (the exception for this is longform oc comics which i find easier to write in the moment, but for my shorter character studies I almost always write first.) I use discord to write because it's convenient, but before i had a dedicated discord server for my stuff i was using txt files on my laptop which i do NOT recommend. anyway, this is what the written script for ntyg looked like:

note that some small elements changed in production, like the amount of time that had passed since link's death. the lines "I look at her and i am only afraid. i remember all the ways in which i hurt you. She's almost as old now as you were then. I cannot stand the thought of outliving her, too" were also added during the rough stage because i felt like there wasn't quite enough emphasis on aryll in the initial script, and since this was a major change that necessitated a whole extra page in the comic I went back and edited those lines into the script so I wouldn't forget them. (both these changes were made during the rough stage. i'll almost never make major script adjustments after the roughs are finished.)

more examples of my scripts; specifically the original script for totk: failure and two versions of oot: adulthood (one before some major refining and one after.) with comics like these, where i have a very clear idea in my head of the imagery i want to go along with the words, i'll sometimes include it interspersed in the script, either spolier-marked or denoted with brackets.

with ntyg and some of my other more. canon divergent? i guess? comics, there's sort of a mini phase in between scripting and roughs where I do some minor character studies to get designs nailed down in the early stages. with ntyg I already had a clear image in my mind for aryll, but the central character was link's dad, whose design wasn't quite so solid in my head. I really wanted to make sure that his design was well thought-out and consistent throughout everything, so i did a few mini sketches and studies to ensure I had his design memorized and could execute it consistently:

these are sans hair and accessories because nailing down consistent facial features was my main focus with them, and both these sketches ended up getting used as references for certain panels later on. This isn't a step I ALWAYS take with my comics, but if there's a central character that i'm not super used to drawing i find it helpful to get some practice in before jumping into the real thing!

after the scripting and design phases i move on to roughs, which I consider to be the most important stage in my process. roughs are very very quick approximations of what I want the final pages to look like. they usually don't take me more than a few minutes per page to create, and their sole purpose is to help me visualize the flow of the page and the placement of major elements like panels, characters, and dialog. this is what the 1st page rough for ntyg looked like compared to the final page:

as you can see, all i have laid out is the major text and visual elements, but it really helps me to visualize how the finished comic is going to flow. i do the roughs for every page before i start on the finals so that i have an idea of what the entire comic is going to look like before I really start finalizing it. it's important that these roughs are FAST--i almost never draw fully-fledged characters unless the pose or expression is particularly important to the scene, and that's because the goal is to allow everything to flow quickly and easily from panel to panel and page to page, and getting too caught up on one panel or element often breaks that flow. Nowadays, i have a pretty good idea of how much room my writing takes up so i don't write out the entire script in my roughs, but back when i was a little less experienced i took the time to write everything out in this stage to ensure that my dialog would fit into the space it was given without getting cramped or cutting off other important elements. doing that really helped me build awareness of how much dialog and panel placement matters and how i could use it, so this rough stage is non-negotiable for me even now!

after the roughs i go straight into finalization. I never enjoyed lineart back when i was learning to draw digitally so i basically built my art style to be understandable and visually appealing after one sketch phase, meaning there's legitimately no in-between stage between that rough and that final page, i just sort of. go for it. this is what works for me, but i think most normal people would probably find a second sketch phase helpful LMAO i'm just crazy and i need everything done as fast as possible. the finalization stage usually doesn't contain any major adjustments of script, composition, etc; i make it a general rule to keep most of the major adjustments confined to the earlier stages, for my own sanity. One thing that DOES occasionally change in this stage is my plans for color--ntyg in particular was originally planned to be completely black-and-white with no grays added, but when looking at my completed pages i found them sort of empty and unengaging without the gray, so i added it. usually if my color plans DO change it's something small like that--I'll almost never switch between full-color and grayscale on a whim because the way that i sketch for those two versions differs significantly so it isn't an easy switch to make.

anyways i hope this is what you were looking for! I'm very passionate about making comics and this process is a result of years of experimentation & finding what works for me, but i hope it's of some use to you as well!

So i saw that u made that Holders au and was open to questions so here goes:

Would the rest of the smiling critters have Miraculous/miraculum (idk how's it exactly called) too? Which ones would they have if yes? Would it be kinda based on the animals or character more, or maybe even smth else?

Cuz ironically the pig miraculum is like for a cheery person so it fits with the piggy smiling critter in both cases

Alright so, on the og series the miraculous are given to whoever the miraculous guardian aka master fu decides they are worthy of having them, so he gives the cat and ladybug miraculous to adrien and marinette bc they proved they were good people. The thing is that besides them two, and ofc the villain, the rest of the people that get miraculous they only get them temporarily when chat noir and ladybug need help.

THE THING IS that who chooses who gets the miraculous in the og series is marinette?, like ok shes a very good ladybug but i find it kinda nonsense that she being a 14yo teenager gets trusted by the miraculous guardian (whos like, old af) to choose who gets supernatural power????? idk but personally doesnt make sense to me, i would understand it if she had like atleast A DECADE of experience with them but she barely has any ;-;

SO MY POINT WITH THIS is that i wanted to avoid that same thing bc again, doesn't make any sense to me, so in thia AU theres no guardian! yippeee!

So how the fuck do they even get them in the first place? Easy! They found them! This universe follows the same prompt as the og one where nineteen of the miraculous were sheltered by the order of the guardians (Ppl designated to take care of them), BUT on this AU said order would eventually fall apart/perish for a reason i havent figured out yet LOL on my behalf i just made this au like, yesterday LMAO

After this happened, the miraculous they sheltered got lost, and since the Order was erradicated, there was no one that would actively search for them. SO some time later, mr prototype found an old book that told the tale about the miraculous and blablabla and the infinite power that the black cat and ladybug miraculous give to whoever lands their hands on them, and so he decided to hire investigators and archeologists to find these precious jewels he learned about. Although he didn't find the black cat and ladybug miraculous, he did find the butterfly and peacock. Then after a while, catnap and dogday found the ladybug and black cat miraculous. So going back to your question (too many words just to get here LOL), i still need to develop this au some more, but im planning to make dogday very interested in the miraculous thing, therefore while investigaating them them out of pure curiosity, and adding that the ladybug miraculous makes him luckier he would actually get to find some of them. This said, the rest of the critters could get one on two situations, 1) like dogday and catnap, they get lucky enough to find one, 2) a little like on the og story, in a very very VERY VERY VERY (emphazise on V E R Y) fucked up situation they might encounter, as the critters are good friends to dogday and catnap, they could give them one of the ones they found, but again this would be on a VERY fucked up situation

if i had to choose which one of them to give a miraculous it would prob be either crafty or kickin mainly bc they are the ones that dogday trust the most besides catnap, or in a very specific situation bubba could get one too, a Felix like situation where he steals one from the prototype but on this case it would be out of greedyness lol, very much like layla

and about which one would they get.. i was thinking on giving crafty either the fox (gives the power of Illusion) or the rabbit (Gives the power to time travel), as for kickin he would prob get the turtle (gives the power of Protection aka s h i e l d) or i would go for the safe option and give thim the rooster. As for why they would get those animals miraculouses, my main reason for choosing them would be how responsible they would be (or how i think they would be) with the power each of them gives, for example, crafty would get the rabbit one bc whoever carries it must be really careful with it as it involves time travel, and on my personal vision of crafty she would def be able to handle it

I realised that I hadn't really talked about which SMPs will actually be part of Everything's Interconnected. I have mentioned Empires S2 and Hermitcraft S8 and S9 but there are others.

The Life series / Traffic series and EVO are not in the AU. While technically set in the same world (universe? Multiverse? idk what it is called), they are completely seperate and they do not interact with each other. Im leaving them as their own thing. I do have that story in my brain, it's going to be called something to do with clipped birds, but I'm focusing on Everything's Interconnected first.

Hermitcraft S10 might be added later but the hermits would be different characters from S8 and 9, so it might be easier to keep it kinda seperate like the life series and EVO.

Im not adding any earlier series, such as one life, crazy craft, ect, because I don't feel like they have enough lore / story to work with and I can't really remember them.

If you want to see a specific character get fleshed out more, I am taking requests. Just ask me the name of the SMP and the CCs name and I'll tell you who they are in Everything's Interconnected (and prob do some art of them).
